We placed an on-line order for a pick-up truck on Sunday for the following Saturday. I received a phone call from this business on Monday stating that I should bring an insurance card with me on Saturday. Also, they needed, a credit card so they could put a $300 hold on the card. We went to the business on Saturday at the scheduled time and no pick-up truck or vehicle that was big enough to haul the item we wanted to haul was available. They refused to call their other locations near the area. When we tried to call the other Enterprise locations the phone rang many times. When we asked why they would reserve something they don't have they stated "we only call to confirm and try to get the vehicle later." Of course, all our plans for the day were ruined. read more

We made an appointment for the rental car to be at the body shop at 11am. At 12:15 the car finally showed up and then, the poor kid that had to check us in said they had a lock out on it. He had to try to call the manager.....and it took about 10 minutes for him to answer the phone and another 5 to get things straightened out. Also, I personally called them around noon because I was frustrated because of waiting so long. First time, the guy just hung up on me. Second time, the new guy said it would be another 10 minutes or so. Big help. I will never us Enterprise again. Hertz all the way baby! read more

Car was free through my insurance, but the cost of the insurance they "offer" you is ridiculous. I felt like I was basically trapped into it. I dropped my car off at the body shop on a Wednesday afternoon and was told to call the rental office on Friday if I needed an extension. Seriously? The body shop would obviously not finish my car in a day-and-a-half. On Friday I couldn't reach anyone, so I was stuck paying insurance two more days for the weekend, and one more day for Monday. Even though my car wasn't finished, I gave the car back Tuesday. The insurance was impossible to keep the car longer. So, now I'm out of transportation. My husband and I are jockeying around with one car. Then there's the $100 deposit you need to put down when you get the keys. What they don't say is that it takes days to get back. It comes out instantly, but days to get back. I'm sure this is as bad as any other rental place, but this whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Don't think I'd rent from them again. read more

Our auto insurance sent us here for a reservation after our vehicle was stolen. The staff was very helpful and nice, but we were ultimately given a dirty car with no fuel in it. By no fuel I mean 10 miles until empty. The added stress of having to find a gas station right away seems unnecessary. Upon pulling out, we noticed the car smelled strongly of smoked meat. Like someone was cooking a BBQ inside of it. I was told no smoking was allowed in the vehicle, so i'm confused as to how it could smell like this. Food particles are all over the center console. Really gross. I felt like I needed to change my clothes when I got home as to not transfer the stank into my home. They should really offer a discount if the car isn't clean, or simply clean the car before hand. We were all so exhausted we didn't bother to return it and went home. I think i'll put bath towels down for my family to sit in it. read more

Had to a rental for a few days ( my car currently in shop for being hit while parked), needed to return rental but still have no other vehicle, I asked if they could pick it up at my house which is 3 minutes from them because I still have no vehicle they said no. So here I am walking on the highway ( no other way to my house). Thanks for being horrible Enterprize. read more

We just returned our rental at the 13th street location , and it's important to us that this location be recognized for providing fantastic service from top to bottom. Besides receiving an awesome car ( Nissan Maxima ) , the service provided by HAILEY was top notch. We have dealt with her previously and she is consistently professional, efficient, and an overall pleasure to do business with. Enterprise is fortunate to have her as the face of their operations and should consider for a top management position. Keep up the great work !!! read more

Hey make sure you guys really check your car for dents cracks and scratches, because they screw you over on purpose they know exactly where a hair line crack was. When I went to return the car the employee went to go check it, it wasn't even 2 min later when he came back right away and found a crack on the grill. It's like he knew where it was. read more

I had all kinds of issues with the Hamilton people at that enterprise location in Macungie Township. First they didn't have the car ready when I arrived, secondly I had a leaky tire and they filled it once but wouldn't the second time and they wouldn't swap it. Frustrated I went to this other enterprise location and first of all the employee greeted me right away (Emily) and offered to swap the car immediately which they did within about 10 minutes. They noted the scratches and dents on the car it was all taken care of without any paperwork or hassle. I'll always use this Enterprise location in the future and I recommend you do too. read more

Scheduled to have car brought to me at repair shop this morning, 8 AM. No car. I try calling, get an "all reps are busy, please hold" message. Stay on until 8:45 while also making other calls to figure things out. I then reached out to another Enterprise location on Lehigh St. They informed me that the N. 13th Street Allentown location closed yesterday due to issues related to COVID. I appreciate that we are in trying times, but a simple notification would have saved me many problems. Lehigh St said the N. 13th St location "tried" to reach out to customers - they have both my phone number and email, so I am not sure how hard they tried. Or, since Lehigh St had all my reservation info and had cars available, could N. 13th St not have arranged for Lehigh St to deliver the car as scheduled? I been renting cars from this location in the past month and they have help all my needs and accommodate them in every way possible. Friendly, professional staff. You can tell their manager it's doing a great job. This location if you let them know 24 hours in advance they will arrange a driver to pick you up to start the rental and take you back to your location once you are done. To me, that's a plus convenience!! read more

Terrible customer service. The assistant manager is very irresponsible. Car was dirty. Previous customer had left something in it they needed , I had to drive the car back in the middle of a business trip to drop off, several hours away, but they still needed that gas tank to be full upon return. If this was the only issue I wouldn't waste my time writing this review. However they forgot to put a card on file for me in the beginning and I had to read the numbers over the phone. Not very secure obviously. I had the rental due to someone hitting my car, and their insurance paying for it. However after 3 months I was charged for it. I had sent declaration pages in 3 times. I was told " we will call you with an update" and then a week later was charged. Obviously I was not expecting this and it overdrafted the account the card was sent to. read more

I do not know about other locations but this location hardly ever has vehicles and if they do it is mini vans and suvs or trucks. I recommend not coming here read more

I was in complete crisis mode after my car unexpectedly broke down, and the employees at Enterprise handled me with ease! I literally walked in a few minutes before they closed and I was greeted with smiles and sympathetic ears. I was hooked up with a rental and no time and was able to make my way home (about 1.5 hrs away). A great experience here! read more

I had a recent visit to Enterprise on 14th Street in Allentown PA.....My driver, Dillon was prompt, courteous and did a GREAT job getting me to the office safely. He cleaned the rental impeccably and got me on my way in plenty of time for my obligations. The office staff Katie and Diala were very pleasant, efficient and genuinely concerned about my needs.
