Don't bother if you have an international credit card. They seem to have a different system from the banks to determine if a credit card is a credit card and they won't accept it if they don't recognise it. Better use companies with a wider international base (Avis, Hertz etc). Also, even if you pre-book, you won't find out if they accept your card until you've been waiting in the queue for a long time. read more

I rarely give 1 star reviews but what a waste of a Saturday! The brakes were failing on my rental so I called at 9am to switch out my car. Faith Joseph suggested I get the brakes repaired at their expense. Umm, no thanks! Then she said the system was down but they'd call when the computers were working or I could call to follow up. I called at 1pm and was put on hold. After 30 minutes I headed to Enterprise. No-one clicked back over to say "our system is still down, we'll call you when it's working." I got in line and disconnected the call, 3 agents were at the desk. I explained that I'd been left on hold indefinitely. Tyler said, "That's cause the system had been down." It wasn't much of a greeting and no apology or status update was provided. 15 minutes later I asked if the system was back up. "No." Someone could have mentioned that.. I said I'd written a good review but it's bad service to leave customers on hold indefinitely then ignore them in line. Faith became defensive and argumentative, stating "the system was down when you called, it was down when you got in line and it's down now." She repeatedly called me rude and raised her voice. When I said the conversation was unproductive, Faith said "I can talk as long as I want. I don't have to listen to you." Faith said she should terminate my contract and because she is the branch manager I have no recourse. I have never been treated so rudely. Eventually, I gave up and left. A few hours later after I'd already gassed up and driven home, Ada called to say the system was back up. I returned and switched into a safer car. What could have been remedied with a courteous phone call escalated into a 7 hour ordeal. Ada and Bobby were great. Unfortunately, Faith's unprofessionalism and hostility ruined the entire experience. Returning the car was smooth, a very nice lady checked me out and dropped me off half a mile away. I received my receipt via email. But the damage is done. I will never patronize this Enterprise again. Renter beware! read more

We have been sitting for about 20 minutes trying to leave the enterprise rental company and no one can figure out how to check people out. What a shit show! People have been on planes all day and would like to start their vacation. This is absolute chaos. They need more people working the exits and knowing what they are doing. Visited the Enterprise Rental Center located at 303 Cortland St Atlanta, GA 30303 We were immediately greeted with smile in the parking lot by Bobby Herrington. The customer service was excellent from the parking lot to the lobby. Darian Small, the Assistant Manager took care of all our rental needs and even had our rental car detailed file us. I was very satisfied with the quality of service and I'd definitely recommend this downtown location to my friends and family members. I should've read the reviews before I came to this place and ended up stranded on the side of the road in front of a motel 6 as a 5'3 100 lb woman. I called this enterprise 4 different times asking if it was okay that I picked up the car with my paper temporary Maryland license because mine was stolen. They told me 4 different times that that was okay, seeing that I had booked my rental through my Maryland insurance. Today I go to pick up the car and they said they "can't help me." They said I have to pick up the car using a physical license which is funny because their corporate office said that out of state paper licenses are fine as long as you have another form of proof which I did, I had a passport and Georgia school ID. I told the woman at the desk that I spoke with a man on the phone THIS morning and she told me that was impossible because no men work there but as I was sitting outside stranded a male manager came out to show another customer a car. I spoke with customer service on the phone and they told me they were horrified about what I went through and would contact me the next day to bring me a car. It's been a week and i've called them several times and they have been absolutely no help at all. I missed my family vacation because of this company and they're not willing to offer a single compensation to try to make this right. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from the two woman at the desk, the male manager who I guess was hiding in the back throughout the entire situation or their customer service team. This is a horrible company that doesn't have a single regard for the safety of their customers, left me stranded on the side of the road even though I brought with me all of the necessary paperwork I was told to bring. I rented a full size car from here to a drop off in South GA with 24 hours and unlimited mileage to get there. It's was $90 total. And that was with the $22 damage waiver. It was a Ford Crossover and got over 33 mpg at highway-plus speeds. Expect to stand inline outside the building when you get there. Under COVID, no customers are allowed inside. Wait your turn outside. They have hand sanitizer and they wear masks. They social distance. They have notepads and send your recipe by email for less contact. Bri was especially kind to me in getting me a car and rushing to get it clean. These employees work very hard as cars are turned in and rented. Don't think I could keep up the pace they do and dress as nice as she does. They are all true professionals. This rental is next to many major hotels such as the Hilton and Marriott downtown. Literally no help or understanding whatsoever to accommodate me when I had a medical emergency. They basically refused to give me any other options because I used a family and friends discount and they stayed very solid on the fact that they couldn't help me even though I proactively tried to change my reservation and no one answered before my original reservation time. I have been renting here for about 7 years. I live nearby and rent for work all of the time. I have tried all of the other local rental places and none compare. The customer service here is outstanding! Staff has shifted over the years with people getting promotions or moved to different locations, but there is always a friendly face and they are all phenomenal in their own way. Enterprise, in general, and this location in particular, has fantastic customer service. I will admit that neighborhood locations tend to be neglected by corporate. They often get overbooked and not supplied correctly. I usually have to wait a little longer than I would like, but they are super-accommodating. They will source cars from other locations when they run out. I come prepared with work to do because wait times are a reality anywhere you rent downtown. read more

I've booked here a few times with work because it's the closest to my house. They never seem to have enough cars on hand for reservations. Each time I've come here there has been 30+ min waits even with reservations. I've also been given a car with less than a quarter of a tank of gas. After delaying someone's trip by not being prepared having gas in the car is the least they could do. Coming to this location always gives me anxiety because I never know if they will have what I need and always leave in a bad mood because of the wait. I've finally learned my lesson and will be booking at another location next time I book with enterprise. read more

Honestly no one likes dealing with rental car places. But even though the experience wasn't enjoyable due to issues on my insurance's end, the manager Douglas Slade was super helpful. My friend and I went into the office to make a reservation in person but the representative told us that they were extremely busy that weekend and that should have reserved something online ahead of time. I figured that there would be limited or no cars available since it was the same day but the way he spoke to us was not helpful but rather judgemental and rude. We asked if they had any available cars for either that day or the next day and he said yes and then just stared at us without any direction. After a few seconds of silence, we asked if we could still make the reservation online and he responded yes but with a rude and disinterested tone. My friend and I proceeded to put in a request online but it brought up another location (who called us to let us know they were sold out but in a much nicer way). While we were doing this, another customer walked in and the representative's tone was completely different and extremely accommodating to their request to change their vehicle option. Other representatives also chiming in and making jokes with them. Glad that they helped the other customer but would have appreciated consistency in the way they talked to us. read more

And as far as the manager being a racist as one review said, I don't see how that's possible when 90% of his staff is of a different race. I arrived at 2:30 to pick up a rental car only to be told to sit down so she could answer 5 phone calls. I understand she was busy but it wouldn't hurt to just put them on hold and help a customer that was in the store. I kindly asked to confirm if I was at the right place and she didn't respond. Once she finally did help me she confirmed I was here and then listened to me tell my ride it was ok for them to leave. She knew she didn't have a car ready for me and didn't provide that information. If you know a car isn't ready why couldn't she tell me that info then? She waited 20 minutes to then tell me no car was ready and it needed an oil change and a car wash first, oh and someone still needed to go get the car. I had a reservation for 11:30 and was late but would there even have been a car then? Probably not since I'm waiting on the lobby with 5 people waiting on cars. I just don't understand how a customer service professional doesn't have the decently to tell me when I arrive that there is no car and it will be an hour wait so that I can leave and come back when it is ready. I asked her to have someone drive me home or bring me the car and she said no, they are too short staffed. I asked for an Uber ride home and back and she said no. Then instead of apologizing for not disclosing this information she cancelled my reservation and told me to leave the store. During this a customer in the store started screaming at me claiming that I was using white privilege to get a car faster and he started screaming at me and standing up yelling at me. She did nothing to stop this and continued to let another customer in the store start a fight with me. I'm not sure what sort of store you are operating here but it is not one that I ever plan to step foot in again. DO NOT DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION EVER! Of all the years I have used ENTERPRISE, Including with insurance claims this is by far the worst experience! The manager is a disrespectful person and the district manager won't even follow up about complaints. They charged my credit card when not one time should have been and my card was at the limit and we received additional charges! The manager would not listen nor deal with insurance like she was supposed to and was rude my college aged son who was contacting them about our rental for our claim. I will NOT EVER use them again. In the future I use other more responsible and respectful car rental companies. Enterprise corporate you should be ashamed of the site and the fact that your district managers don't follow up. I called your corporate office 3 different times and no resolve. I will be posting this to every review site so no one will be fooled or use that site again. If I could give then a zero I would. Made a reservation with them prior. They told me my AAA discounts would be applied when I got to the store. When I got to the store they told me that I could not apply the discounts. In addition the location has wires dangling under the desk that I almost tripped over. On top of all of that I had to wait to get a vehicle that I supposedly reserved. Just bad customer service. And the car was dirty. read more

Absolutely love the staff at this location! The service here is impeccable. Anthony, Pernelle, and Carlos are all Amazing at what they do! They genuinely cared about me and my needs and made me feel at home. While I was waiting for my car they made sure i was comfortable and engaged in meaningful conversation. The car i originally reserved was not available and they blessed me with a complimentary upgrade. Upon return they asked if I needed a ride back to my car, which was very thoughtful and kind. When we reserved the rental we were very pleased with the customer service and the vehicle we rented. Christopher was incredibly helpful and we were pleased with the car we were assigned. However, upon returning the car, we found that the quoted price we signed for was not what we were charged (there was a difference if almost 60 dollars). I find this to be misleading and I'm not sure if it was because the employee who helped us the second time wanted to boost their insurance coverage sales. I'd love to give a 5 star review, but that left a negative impression on us. If you choose to rent from here make sure you double check your paperwork and make sure that what you're signing for is what you'll be charged. read more

Nathan the manager was rude to me and argumentative all over him not wanting to let my disabled girlfriend sit in the empty waiting room. Only the person renting the car was allowed inside. HE DIDNT CARE AT ALL!! I forgot to mention that the car and windshield was dirty on top of all that I had to go through dealing with the rude manager Nathan. Corey on the other hand was a god send. Had it not been for him taking charge and intervening i don't know what Nathan might have done. Whooo! Thank goodness for these guys. They truly saved the day. I dropped my personal vehicle off to a body shop downtown on 4/24/2017 only to be left high and dry by Hertz. After a lot of back-and-forth, the other party's insurance company agreed to switch my rental reservation to Enterprise. I still can't believe how amazingly different my experience has been between Hertz and Enterprise. Enterprise's superior customer service and smooth transaction made all the difference. I'm also surprised by the negative reviews for this locaiton. I couldn't imagine bad customer service here after my experience here. I arrived around 8:15am on 4/24/2017 to pick up my rental. As I approached, the door was opened for me by an agent who smiled and greeted me. He introduced himself as Jorian and escorted me to his station to begin the rental process. I noticed that the location was well-staffed, all agents were attentive and acknowledged me at some point. The pick-up process was smooth and quick. I returned my vehicle on 4/28. The drop-off process was as smooth as the pick-up. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. One of the agents dropped me off to the body shop where my personal vehicle was waiting. We had a reservation and the paperwork took 5 minutes but we then waited 45 minutes for the lot attendant to bring the car around front. No good reason for this. This is probably one of the worst rental car experiences that I have ever had. I was shocked because Enterprise has been pretty decent. I booked a standard car at this location about two months ago and I flew in very early in the morning. I even called this location at the airport to make sure that they had my reservation. When I got there, I was told that they didn't have any car at all. They didn't even try to get a different car or tried to call different locations to pick up a car. I waited for ten minutes and I asked them to drop me off at different Enterprise location. They told me to wait for the driver. Guess how long I waited? 1 hour. Yes, I will not come to this location ever. I am giving two stars because the manager, at least, apologized to me. However, it was too late. I already wasted my time and missed my meeting. read more
