He took the time to understand exactly what I needed, explained all my options clearly, and made sure I felt confident in my decisions. What really stood out was his attitude he was patient, personable, and truly seemed to care about providing excellent service rather than just completing a transaction. Jamie also helped me get comfortable in my rental Tesla and while it was raining he stood outside and still explained everything to me. I didn't get a chance to do their questionnaire so I wanted to make sure I posted one here. Every time I have gone in Jaime (I hope I got his name right) has always been very helpful. He always has a smile and has always done everything he can to ensure my rental has everything I would need. I will say there have been some minor issues with the vehicles I have picked up. 1. My first car smelled like someone left a dirty diaper in there for a week. The second time the usb connector didn't work. The third time the window was dusty so I turned on wipers and the rubber piece flew off lol. Like I said very minor things but I continue to return because of the service I receive but also because I value supporting local businesses to keep our community thriving. read more

We blew a tire and needed a rental for a day. It was tricky to find. Being very familiar with the enterprise logo that's what we were looking for as we drove by to pick up my husband. There is no clearly identifiable enterprise sign viewable from the street. You want to pull in at RightSpace Storage. My husband was able to coordinate getting picked up by one of their drivers. Customer service was good, and completing paperwork was easy. We rented a compact/economy car and were given a free upgrade to an SUV when that car was unavailable. The only downside is that the car only had a half tank of gas and we were anxious to get on the road. Nonetheless, I will check this location next time I need a rental. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Backstory: I had initially reserved a vehicle a month in advance at Hertz in Moreno Valley[27810 Eucalyptus Ave], but had issues [you can check my review on their page], so upon canceling Hertz I immediately drove to this Enterprise location as I needed a rental. My brother recommended this Enterprise location in Banning, CA. So after canceling the reservation at Hertz, I immediately went to the Enterprise 2822 West Ramsey, Banning, CA. I met the Assistant Rental Manager- Brooke and asked if they had a Nissan Rogue or similar vehicle as I needed it immediately for a one-way rental to Oceanside, for 1 night.. She said, I could reserve on their site[even showed me how to do it on my phone] Then she asked for my ID and insurance. Within LESS THAN 20 MINS, she had the Nissan Rogue available for me to take. She had me look at the vehicle for damages etc. Not only did they have the vehicle I needed and wanted, it was a very much lower price than Hertz!! It was such a smooth service and pleasant experience!! Within 20 mins, I had the keys and off I go. This location and customer service is WAY BETTER AND I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND renting from this location. THANK YOU, ENTERPRISE for such an amazing Company and actually properly training your employees to have a GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I will recommend this location to EVERYONE. My fiancé and I requested a rental a couple weeks back so there should be no excuses as to why this rental is absolutely disgusting. Usually the car rentals here are super clean! Picked up a rental today the car is filthy inside and out. Also there's a bad odor inside. Made my whole family nauseous. I wish they would ask before upgrading your car because gas on this rental is really expensive. Definitely the last time we'll be coming to this location. read more

They do not have a car wash on site so the cars are not clean on the outside. The representative had a bad attitude because I asked why the car was not clean. I went back inside and spoke with representative who did the rental and he said they would have the car washed for me. read more

Wouldn't recommend it especially if you have insurance covering the costs. This place seems to push everyone above the voucher for some reason, and then blame it on inventory and claim you'll be put on a list to get something within the voucher in the size of vehicle you wanted originally. They won't lower the bigger vehicle within the voucher either, claiming it's not possible. So we are stuck at around $6 a day which is insane for us as we can't afford it. They did the same thing to other customers like it's standard practice to push into something that isn't within the voucher. Maybe they make some kinda extra return if it's over the voucher amount, who knows. They'll also play this game that there may be a return that'll be in the size you need, then never call and never look into it further. Probably because they don't care once you have something even if it's over the voucher. Absolutely a mess. read more

Amazing experience! Henry called me and let me rent the car 1 day earlier than I had reserved it. He gave me 1 day free. I rented the car right before thanksgiving. He said to alleviate a long wait before the holiday he was letting customers get cars early so they don't have to wait hours the next day. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes. When returning the vehicle I was checked in and it was under 5 minutes. The guy did a walk around, checked the gas and mileage. Asked me if I wanted to charge it to the card and I was out of there. This would be my third time renting a car from this location. The first time I rented a car from the Banning office was about four years ago and I did not have a good experience. The second time was about six months ago and I had a better experience in the first time The third time I rented was last Tuesday and although customer service was great it was the day after the holiday so was extremely busy and everybody was waiting around, they were shorthanded. I only saw two employees working and they were doing everything that they could to make a pleasant and get everybody in their rental as fast as possible. I gave him three stars this time, but seems to me they are improving every time I visit that location. read more

Awful customer service! I made my reservation online days in advance for pick up, received a confirmation email, and was being driven to pick up the rental (15 minutes before my pick up time) when Rema called me to let me know there's no car available for me, again, 15 minutes before my pick up reservation. I expressed my disappointment due to nobody contacting me sooner than 15 minutes before my pick up, I had an appointment 45 minutes after scheduled pick up time and needed the car to make it to my appointment. She says, she apologizes that she is the only one in the office but I can pick something up around 1pm. As I'm expressing my frustration with the time frame, the fact the reservation had been scheduled for days she explains the previous renter extended their rental - why was this approved when I have a confirmation the car would be ready for me? Even more upset and confused, I asked why nobody would have contacted me sooner and what they were going to do for the huge inconvenience? I hear her talking to someone in the background - I thought you were alone at the office and that was why you couldn't contact me sooner?? REMA asks me "what do you feel the inconvenience is worth?" I respond "a couple hundred off the rental, this is 15 minutes before my pick up." I had the car reserved for 7 days while my car gets repairs. She says she can't do that, so I ask her why would she even ask what I want if she already knows what she's allowed to offer? She states that she doesn't have to talk to me if I'm going to talk her disrespectfully - I said I'm just asking a question and you can't answer - so what can you offer? She says "7% off." I honestly laughed, I was shocked. I asked for her name to which the call goes mute for a second and then Rema hangs up on me. I called again from my phone and the call was answered and hung up. My mom called from her phone and that's how I got Rema's name while my mom tried to arrange a later pick up time for her as I didn't have time to wait for a car to become available. Rema then said she likely wouldn't have a car for me at all today, but would call if anything changes - it goes from 11am confirmed reservation, to "we can have a car by 1pm," to "we might not have one at all today." What a joke, needless to say we rented from Hertz instead. read more

This place is a joke. My husband went in, Girl with long dark hair in ponytail was on her cell phone on a personal call behind the desk. After some time... she tried to help him but tired every excuse under the sun. He called me in and she told me, "we tried to call you", "someone called in canceled your reservation", "I'm still waiting on car to come in because there's a fire in San Bernardino county (line fire) and all my cars are being used for that." We left and I went online and got a reservation with another office. And had a truck within an hour, out of San Bernardino County, where the line fire was actually in... and asked if we can drop off at the location in Banning and they stated I would not because they might mess up your return.... lol... sounds like others have had issues as well. We rented from another location (not banning or the first one mentioned above) about a month ago and they too told us I wouldn't return to the banning office. lol read more

Terrible Experience!!! They gave me a Toyota Highlander that was absolutely filthy and reeked of cigarette smoke. The interior looked like someone had a food fight inside and the windshield had a large rock chip that was beginning to spider off cracks. At first, I didn't notice the "food fight" interior, and figured I'd spray some fabreeze for the cigarette smell. Once I got home, I called the Banning location and complained...they said they had no other cars to give me. On our trip to LAX, we decided to try and swap out the car at the Enterprise at Ontario airport. The Ontario Enterprise employees didn't have another car either, but they were appalled at the condition of the car, and said to call the district manager for a refund. They offered to clean the car for us, but it would take too much time. So ultimately, we were stuck with the Highlander. When I dropped off the car at LAX I notified the employees that the windshield and filth were there when I picked up the car, so they didn't hit me with any extra charges. After my trip was completed, I rented a car at LAX to be returned at Banning. Upon returning the car in Banning I complained about the Highlander. The girl told me there was nothing they could do other than offer a discount for a future rental. I told her, "based on my experience, I won't be renting from Enterprise ever again". She said, all she can do is offer a discount. While on vacation I completed a survey with a scathing review. After completing the survey, I was told I'd be contacted by Enterprise for further discussion...it's been a week, and no one from Enterprise has contacted me. Terrible customer service!!! I am updating this review on August 10, 2024. After posting my initial review on Yelp, someone from Enterprise customer service responded (on Yelp) to my review. They asked me to call customer service for resolution. I had already called customer service and was forwarded to the "complaint department". The agent took down my information and told me to hold on to my photos. The agent further advised me the district/regional manager would contact me. I waited another week and heard nothing. Eventually I decided to contact customer service again. The agent apologized profusely about not being contacted. They again took my information and assured me a regional/district manager would contact me. It's been yet another week with no contact. It's very obvious that Enterprise cares little (nothing) about customer service from the management level on down to the rental locations. Don't waste your hard earned money on Enterprise. read more

Every time I go there a vehicle twice a year last minute they will call you to tell you that the vehicle has been damaged or that's the vehicle is not available last minute! I would recommend not using the Banning enterprise so that you won't be let down. read more

Booked my reservation for an economy car, showed up and was told by the "manager" that they only had full size vehicles and I can either pay the difference or leave without a vehicle. I asked why would they book reservation for vehicles they don't have available and was told that the people who make the reservations don't care because they get commission on it. This guy had the worse attitude ever, I don't understand how he is a manager here with the way he treats people. And he kicked me out of the store because I asked why he had such a "take it or leave it attitude" I don't understand why I should be punished for their internal mistake of overbooking and now he refused to give me a car or match the price unless I paid more. I called immediately to speak with manager and she informed me "she didn't have time to check " I then called next day she said no glasses had been found .... THE WORST SERVICE EVER!! I made a reservation & received the e-mail confirmation for 12:30pm to rent a car. I walked in at 12:40pm to the office to check in and the desk clerk and the manager Kelly just said "The car is not going to be available till 2:00". I asked why I didn't get a call? Their answer was "We were busy, and you could have called us" . My reply was "Why would I call after I received a confirmation from you?!" I had a business to take care of at my destination but because of their poor & don't care business style, I had to cancel my business appointments. My final words to you, Kelly. CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I reserved a car through my insurance with Employee Stephanie at Enterprise Banning. i was scheduled to be picked up from my residence at 4:30pm. No one called or picked me up. I had to miss work. I spoke with Assistance Manager Charlie only to receive different answers. She stated Stephanie didn't work there and then she wouldn't provide her last name. The reviews at this Banning Location state that customers' credit cards are being charged excessively and frequently after car rentals are complete. 3 days of my rental were supposed to be paid by Enterprise in Hemet, because of the way they treated us when we rented from them. Instead of Hemet paying it, they charged my card. Needless to say when I saw the charge I flipped......now I have to fight to get my money back. Very unhappy customer!!
