Lousy customer service!!!!! If I can give this location a negative score, I will! They are great when they are trying to get your business but when you're done, they don't care if you'll walk a hundred miles home, they will just drop you off where it's convenient for them. They will not return you to your home, even if it's less than 10 miles away!!!!! Quite the opposite with how Enterprise is always advertising....."Free pick up and return!"......My a...... I'm very disappointed!!!!! I've been a loyal customer and have been recommending them. This is the only location I've had issues so far.......I'm very very very disappointed! Most of the staff is helpful although the assistant manager Crystal (sp?) made me feel like proving a great customer service to me was a huge burden. Although she was accommodating she wasn't happy to fulfill any request I had. It didn't feel good to have her say "yes" when her tone of voice said "no". The rental car we received for a business trip was very dirty. There was dirt in the trunk, along with a hanger, chewed fingernails in the front seats and we found leftover fruit in the glove compartment. It would seem to me, for your place of business you would choose to keep your cars exceptionally clean and have timely service. I understand that there are technical difficulties that happen but have a back up plan for such events. Make sure if the tablets are not working then have paper copies to ensure that customers can be handled in a timely manner. My coworker felt so bad because there were only two people working the front and one person cleaning cars. I'm sure if this location was fully staffed, it would not have the above stated issues. I would like to note the tall young man who did help my coworker was hustling, he helped 3 people in the time it took the other staff to help one person. I reserved a pick up truck online and received a confirmation code. After waiting for 1/2 hour to talk to someone at the counter, they finally told me they did not have a pickup truck on their premises, nor was there one available in the surrounding areas. They claimed they called me the night before, but that never happened... It was a complete waste of time and they offered me no realistic solutions for their screw up. If you ever do decide to rent form enterprise- make sure you CALL and have them confirm they have the car you want. I for one, will not be going back there. read more

I am furious. Even though the staff was nice, fun, even, they ripped me off with not even a little bit of reluctance. The representative who helped me: Will. I consciously declined all DW, PAI, SLP, and RAP, which they added onto my bill anyway. I am FURIOUS and will tell everyone I know: Enterprise will rip you off, even if they are nice to your face and even if you are a loyal customer. The customer survey seemed suspect too. It consisted of a question and writing it down with pen in a spiral notebook. In retrospect, I'm sure that's "policy" for a very good reason. read more

Unless you want to deal with an extremely rude staff that rushes you out the door, criticizes you to your face and berates other customers behind their back, avoid this location. If you can't avoid it, arrive an hour before your pick up time, because 30 minutes is apparently enough to earn the ire of every staff member in the place, and 10 minutes ahead is when you start watching people get locked out, berated and turned away. read more

They often have the best prices in the area when you make the reservation online, but it seems like they try to charge you more than what you had on the reservation when you come in and pick up the car. Make sure you have the reservation printed or on your smart phone, so there are no surprises at the counter. read more

Two out of three cars I rented from them in the past year had significant problems (hole in tire but no spare in the car; engine light kept turning on for no reason; miniscule 1-2mm chip in the front windshield that was only noticed on return of the car with the engine light problem). I was required to pay for the windshield replacement up front, and in the two months since, there has been no evidence that they have have sent the paperwork requested by my insurance company. In fact, I was notified by my insurance company this morning that they are closing the case because they have received no paperwork from Enteprise. Finally, while returning the third car, I was asked how my experience with them had been by one of their representaties, but I felt like a dumbass answering his question as he clearly was not interested in my answer. When I joined Yelp, I swore not to write bad reviews and to emphasize only the great ones, but I am at wit's end here. read more

I was in a big hurry to get to work after damaging my car, and I sorta blanked out when Will explained to me the difference between "extended coverage" (my insurer pays) or "full coverage" (I pay). 10 days later I get a bill for more than $400 from Enterprise - WHAAAAA? But Will and I worked it out and I wound up paying less than $150. So here are some actual humans who can help you when you need something more than a voice or a blinking cursor on the internet. Mel was fabulous helping me get checked in and out, Miss Debbie gave me lifts to and from the BART station and was just a delight to chat with. DON'T GO HERE!!! I would give this Enterprise location ZERO star! My family booked a 7 passenger car 1 month in advance to be picked up at 8 am as we were going to leave for Reno in the morning to avoid traffic. Got a call the day before and said that they won't have our car available until 1PM. Better than nothing we agreed to wait. Checked back with them around 11am finger cross that we would be able to pickup the car early as we were already 3 hours late than we planned. Talked to an associate named "Crystal"...who was being very rude even though it was only 11Am in the moning. She was acting like if we want the car we have to wait as they asked otherwise go somewhere else. Around 1PM no one called us, so wecalled and the guy we talked to said that still no car for us, and they would call us as soon as the car becomes available, said the close at 6pm so don't worry. 3Pm "Crystal" called back with the same attitude, she also added "You guys booked this, I didn't" and "If you don't want the car it can be cancelled." 5Pm we went totheir office and talk to them in person. This is our final conversation with them. Weleft the office with disappointment, still no car. We bassically wasted 1 day paid for the hotel room in Reno. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Last week called with reservation number and confirmed pickup for today from the Auto Body Shop I dropped my car off at. Low and behold I was told that today the body shop was out of their jurisdiction and I had to get my own ride to Enterprise. Luckily the body shop gave me a ride. Not even an apology from the staff at Enterprise and received a car that needs an oil service every time I start it up. I've rented from this location on probably at least 6 occasions. The service has always been really good. This time it was just out of this world. I was recovering from a really serious car accident. They were very sensitive, accommodating, returned calls, worked with my insurance company, picked me up, dropped me off, allowed me to trade one car in for another and never made me feel like i was a pain in the butt. The last time I rented a car it was with Budget. This time I decided to go to Enterprise and I was disappointed I ever thought about Budget in the first place. Conor picked me up from my hotel and his helpfulness and my overall short interaction with him was one of the best experiences I have encountered; especially within a business transaction. It's sort of hit-or-miss. I used to rent from this location constantly because I worked for a company with a corporate agreement here, and I often had meetings all over the Bay Area and do not own a car. I had great experiences with Jason Martinez and Whitney Harris, who ran the branch for a few years, but they were both promoted and I'm not convinced that the current staff are as talented... Sometimes the selection is good, other times it is terrible. Not that I'm picky, but having rented dozens of different cars over the years, there are some varieties I have decided are simply unsafe and I refuse to take them out. Sometimes you can breeze right in and out (I always could with the previous managers) and sometimes there's a slow line. I give this place four stars because in GENERAL I find better rates here than at other locations, but not always. read more

My original reason was because they're cheaper and don't charge extra for your spouse to drive, but the more often I use them, the clearer it is to me that Enterprise "gets" customer service.
