I reserved a car with this location weeks prior to our trip, still at the time of pickup there was no cars available. The rep called to inform me of this and said I would have to wait an unknown amount of time to receive a vehicle and would call when it was ready. This completely crippled our vacation! We waited almost 7 hours for a car. We were visiting Boulder for my fiancés birthday and had plans to visit other city's in Colorado on that day...BUT because we did not receive the car until after 4pm ( reservation time was 9:30am). This caused us to loose money on activities that were already paid for. I was very disappointed. read more

I reserved a car on September 9th for a pick up on September 22nd. Enterprise e-mailed me the confirmation the day I reserved it. Then, toward the end of my vacation, I received a phone message the evening of September 21st, telling me the car was being returned late and I would have to wait until later in the day to get it. But they also offered a pick-up truck instead. Great. The next morning when the office opened, I received another call telling me the car wasn't available and their pick-up trucks were being recalled. Talk about adding insult to injury. Not a hint of apology. Just business. Essentially, "you're out of luck, buddy." Well, I did manage to have a little luck. I had to walk a mile and a half to get there. But Hertz found me a car, and I was able to salvage the end of my vacation. This company is a real piece of work. read more

After giving us one quote of about 500$ on one phone call we called again just to make sure of the price and they told us it would be a little over 600$. We then went into rent a VW golf and was put through paper work that was not needed. I had to put down where I worked and then put down 2 references of people who have known me for more than a year. After I filled out all of the paper work they proceeded to tell me that it would be a little of 700$. I was in need of a car and they took advantage of me and my family. I also left the receipt in the car and when my husband went in and asked to look at it they refused to let him look at it. I tried to look it up on there website but it said it was not in. But on the top of the page it says that it will be up on the site for six months after the rental. They are horrible, I hope that I never need to rent a car again. After my first review my husband tried to go back to to see if they would reprint the receipt. The assistant manager could not find it in the system and then when my husband got angry as anybody would the manager called the cops on him and forced my husband out of the store. I am no going to look into any legal actions we can take up against them if they fail the give me a copy of my receipt, and if they fail to return me money for the time that I did not use the car, because I returned it before my week was done. read more

I was less than impressed with enterprise car rental at Mapleton. I tried to reserve a truck at the enterprise on araphoe in boulder but they didn't have one so they sent me to Mapleton. When I pulled into the Mapleton enterprise I saw they did have a truck. The employee said they would only rent me the truck if the Arapahoe office gave them a car which they could not do. Confused? I was too and left without a truck. I can't believe this company would put a customer in the middle of an issue and in the end lost my business. The staff was rude and was a poor example of customer service. will not be using this car rental company again. read more

I recently reserved a all wheel drive car for my handicapped mother and brother. I was initially told that they would have an all wheel drive car for them. They are staying in estes park and all wheel drive is a necessity. I received a call 3 days after I made the reservation and was told that they did not guarantee all wheel drive cars to anyone. I informed enterprise that it was absolutely necessary that my handicapped family members receive a safe car for mountain driving. They gave them a 2 wheel drive car anyways. Enterprise rent a car was deceptive and changed the car I was promised to a lesser automobile. I was promised a call from the regional manager, which I never received. Due to the recent snow storm my handicapped family members were unable to drive the car they rented today. I had to go up there and drive them around because the car they were given was not appropriate for the weather conditions. I will never rent a car from them again, due to their deceptive rental practices. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the staff. I had to change my reservation few times and never did I feel that they were bothered by my indecisiveness. On the contrary, they were very patient. The process of checking out a car was easy and they didn't try to push on me the extra insurance. Great place to go to. read more

We were able to reserve day of (though word of caution- when it is a day with snow, rental cars have much less availability. This was the second enterprise we checked out since the first one ran out of rental cars) and received a new Honda Accent with only 2k miles on it. They offered us a ride to the bus stop when we returned the car which was nice. read more

We have tried twice the the past week to rent a car from enterprise. Both times they have been completely out of vehicles. Ridiculous. It's car inventory, not rocket science. If corporations can't do even the simplest of tasks, why do we allow them to survive? And make a profit while doing a bad job? Rethink society read more

BEWARE. I rented from this Enterprise a little over a month ago. When they brought me out to the car they said they had upgraded me to a blue jeep for free. I actually did not want a bigger car than I needed but they said they'd give me partial tank of gas for free so I took it. The woman inspected it, saying she was looking for debts larger than this size (showing me a plastic card with a circle a pretty decent size). It was my first time renting a car so I was a little nervous just because it's my nature. I checked it every night for dents for the week that I had it. I was relieved when I returned it without a problem. When another woman inspected it, however, she said there were 3 small dents near the driver side door. She asked if we had driven through hail, but we had definitely not and had pretty much stayed in Boulder the whole time, barely using half a tank. She said that if there are 3 or more dents it is considered hail and they have to write it up and if insurance didn't cover it I would have to. Though she couldn't give me information on if this had happened before and if so how much fixing dents cost. It seems ridiculous to me that they didn't check for dents this size (they were TINY and one was near the door handle, obviously not caused by hail) from the beginning if they were to look for dents that size after. The woman who worked there got very nervous when I questioned her about the size of the dents now versus the size of the dents she was originally looking for on video. As I saw another review about dents and hail I assume this is an insurance scam and as I am a young-looking woman I'm sure I'm on the top of the list. Thankfully I have way too much of an education to fall for this. I will not be renting from enterprise again, nor will my family or friends. read more

I am so grateful to Michael and the rest of the Arapahoe Enterprise crew. After being rear-ended on my commute to work in Denver, my car was in the body shop, and my insurance company sent me to Enterprise for a rental. As luck would have it, they only had one car left on the lot- a minivan- and that very day it started dumping snow on the Front Range. My first night driving the van back home on my hour commute I was white-knuckled the whole way home. I called the store the next day and Michael (the manager) answered. I explained my fear of commuting in the squirrelly-in-the-snow van and Michael was incredibly understanding. He told me to come in and they would do their best to swap me for another vehicle. Long story short, they went above and beyond to rush a gorgeous 4x4 F150 back to switch with me to get me to work on time. I was blown away. The truck was incredible and its easy ability to switch to 4wd vaporized the stress of commuting through the construction and icy snow-packed nightmare of hwy 36. Overall, I couldn't have been happier with my experience. It felt great to be treated with a true customer-caring attitude and I was honestly impressed by watching their staff interact with each other and other customers. Heads up that if this office erroneously overcharges your credit card, it's an uphill battle to have them correct it. On my first call, the employee remembered renting me the car and how I only wanted it for 24 hours ($29) and not the weekend rate of $78 (which is what hit my credit card on 12/01/14). The employee acknowledged their error and reassured me he'd address it. That's the same thing I heard on the second and third calls. On my fourth call, I went to corporate who left a message for their their regional office. About a week after that fourth call and two months after I rented the car, I saw the $48 refund on my credit card. I can understand the occasional error. But the Mapleton office told me three times they'd correct the overcharge and never did. For my most recent rental, I sadly switched to Avis who charged me less than Enterprise and more importantly, billed my credit card in the amount agreed upon. I have enjoyed renting from this Enterprise office outside of this billing error that took more effort and time than it should have to resolve. read more
