This Enterprise has been the best rental experience I have had yet. My go to is always Enterprise, but this location really was incredible. All the employees were hard workers, very nice and accommodating. I want to especially give Shelby L. Howard a shout out, because she was nothing but wonderful! For some reason the iPad wouldn't allow me to pick the pre-paid gas option for refilling the tank, so I went ahead and filled up the tank before returning. Then when we returned the car to her, she was very generous and took off the difference for me and credited me back for the gas I had spent for the slight inconvenience. Wasn't sure that we needed a Major Credit CARD for out of state rentals. I feel like that's something that should be mentioned in the rental process (maybe an email) or just a confirmation call. But no, I'm sure it was in the finest of the fine print. Also we had two different people who didn't get to get their insurance money back after not even getting the cars. We had the money in every other way, even a major credit card from our company. So yeah hopefully everything works out with our personal cars. Vehicle reserved, called to confirm beforehand, only to be told upon arrival that it wasn't possible to have the same vehicle for the amount of time. Had a reservation for 9am, intermediate SUV. Showed up, they said it'd be a while because nothing was available. Came back at 11:15, nothing is available. "But we can have one in 3 hours." Problem was, I am getting married in 3 hours and they close while I'm getting married. If you don't have a car, you shouldn't allow the reservation. My time is important and valuable and now I have to figure out how to leave for my honeymoon on time. Absolutely TERRIBLE experience.. Thanks for jacking up my wedding day. Addendum: At 12:15 as I was leaving, calling around and trying to find someone that could perhaps loan me a car, a guy unexpectedly returned one. It made me late for pictures, but at least I can travel on my honeymoon. Should not depend on luck to run a company. I was very dissatisfied with the way that the people treat customers here. I'd never been involved with the rental process and my wife was the one who rented the car. The way these people talked to her was just stupid. They weren't friendly whatsoever. The location is extremely bad as it is next to fords furniture, which is extremely difficult to get out of. Also when you reserve inline, it doesn't tell you about the deposit. What if the customer doesn't have an extra $150? They also didn't tell us that we had to have 2 utility bills or paystubs. All in all, a very poor experience with this location. Hopefully other enterprise locations have better customer service than this location. read more

My wife recently need to travel for work and ordered a full size vehicle. I decided to ride with her on her long journey. We had over 700 miles to get to destination. The day came to pick up the vehicle, holy you know what!!! It was a Hybrid Ford Focus and they wanted to argue with me that this is a full size car. It may rated by Enterprise as a full size vehicle, but I am 250LBS and did not fit into this vehicle very well. Not enough leg room, not enough head room, and barely had enough room for luggage. Had to put some luggage in the back seat. Get vehicle home and start loading, Vehicle had not been cleaned properly. Inside windows looked like they had never been cleaned since the vehicle was manufactured. Air pressure read out said one tire was almost flat. We aired up that tire. Ran into some rain. Windshield wiper on the passenger side worked with a large bounce from side to side, lovely sound. Ran into ran several more times, cannot Imagine the fun it was listening to the windshield over and over and over. You get the picture. With all of the bad reviews that I am seeing, why would Enterprise keep these folks working here in BG, KY. My wife returned the vehicle today. Had her mother to pick her up, since I did not want back into the cracker box. I now have a list started on what vehicle not to buy. Save yourself the headache and use someone else. read more

Made a reservation well in advance for an Intermediate car. Lo and behold, I walked outside and was shown a Kia Rio. At first, I thought my standards for an Intermediate were just too high, so I drove off. But when I realized the car didn't have cruise control (we were going on a trip 15 hours each way), I called back. The gentleman told me he gave me one level down from an Intermediate, thinking we'd want to save on gas. No mention of this was made during the initial transaction. When I told him it didn't have cruise control, he said he thought it was on the car and he could show me if I drove back to the rental car facility. I did ... he realized it didn't have cruise control ... he then gave us a Dodge Challenger to drive. So the problem was definitely corrected and I appreciated that, but felt uneasy that a fast one was trying to be pulled on me. read more

The only enterprise I have ever been to where they tried to charge me for a vehicle they didn't have...I didn't ask for a truck and they blamed it on cars they didn't have...that's not my problem. Don't advertise that you have vehicles available if you don't and then to try an upcharge me...disgusting. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! I recently rented a car for a week. I called to place the reservation and explained in detail when we would pick the car up, and when it would be returned, down to the time! The guy quoted a price, and the reservation was made. When I went to pick the car up, the guy tried to Jack the price up, but since I had written it down, I had the exact price. When I told him what I had been told, he said "oh yeah, I see it now". Then I explained to him when the car would be returned, etc. When I returned the car, not only was I charged the quoted price, but an additional day! When I called to explain what had happened, the representative said it was a "miscommunication" and the money for the additional day would be refunded. I waited over a week, but was not refunded. When I called to inquire, another representative said he would not refund the money. These people lie! They do not communicate with each other, and will rip you off! Renters beware!! read more

I havent had any problems with BGKY enterprise. My problem with enterprise is a company problem not a local or people one. They are ok (and just ok) until they leave you stuck 10 hrs from home in an emergency situation because someone stole your cc. They will let you rot in that situation. No matter that you are a platinum level member who spends over 5000$ each year on their service. You would think they could say this guys a loyal member and needs help: he has cash or debit his cards just lost or stolen...Nope. They do not care at all at any level of enterprise; believe me i have been through it and will never rent from enterprise again (if possible) for this reason. I just rented this last car only to use some free credit i acquired from the tons of rentals i used in years prior to being left in illinois to die. Always had problems there in Ill too. I dont know if its because people are just generally retarded nasty people in illinois but you can call ahead and plan all you can and still end up with no car for your reservation about half the time in that god forsaken dump of a state. read more

We always rent from here. Only complaint is they should take cash as not everyone has debit/credit cards. Also $150 deposit should be disclosed upfront. And the need for proof of residency when using a debit card also should be disclosed upfront. Otherwise all the employees are great and I would recommend them to everyone. Recently rented a car and involved in an accident, another driver backed in me. Manager who checked the rental back in said everything was fine as I had taken the Damage Waiver ins. with Enterprise and stated everything was covered and my Insurance wouldn't be contacted. Less than 24 hrs. later I begin receiving phone calls from Enterprise claim adjusters and also my own Insurance that was called by Enterprise. At this point the Bowling Green Ky Enterprise office has handled this poorly with inaccurate information they've provided their own company and the lack of any follow up calls to me directly stating that they're handling the situation. I've had to explain the same circumstances repeatedly to multiple people and feel that I continue to be passed around. Their biggest concern has been to involve my own insurance company without waiting for accident report which states I was not at fault. You have their full attention when your actually trying to rent a car, however, after that your basically on your own. I suggest you keep up with all paperwork and note exactly who your speaking with at the office for future reference in the event its needed. read more
