Rented a car a month ahead of my trip in Tampa. I chose this location because I found a good price. When I arrived, I was told they were out of cars and sent me to another Enterprise location. This location had a car available but would not honor the price. Had to pay over 2 times the price I signed up for. The employee at the rental agency filled out the final invoice incorrectly. They charged my card twice and billed my insurance once. Placed the total as the amount owed instead of the amount to be refunded. When I called customer service, the person I spoke with couldn't speak clear English. She had to be asked repeatedly to repeat themselves. Communication was extremely difficult and frustrating. I couldn't get them to understand the discrepancy even with the invoice in front of them. They appeared not to understand what they were reading or how to apply basic math skills. Responses to my question were vague and unclear. They said they would contact management and send me a corrected invoice. The new invoice I received was still incorrect. The new total showed the amount my insurance had already paid and that's it. Not amount to be refunded, that account was paid off, or now closed. I've achieved nothing, no refund, and back to where I started. I'm stuck dealing with their customer service, AGAIN, trying to get my refund. Who cannot read an invoice, speak clear English, or do simple math. What a mess, do not recommend . read more

Very polite staff . I rented a car when mine was in the shop. At first , for four days . I picked up the car and because what I reserved wasn't ready , I got upgraded to a small SUV. I'm disabled and have a collapsible cart and was worried if it would fit in a smaller car . Perfect . I needed to extend for a week and had no problem renewing online . The last night I had the car , I hit something and had a flat tire . Got it changed and was scared it would be expensive . No problem, as long as the rim was ok. Whew ! Returning the car was easy . I booked a rental today, for today, and it was confirmed by the app. When I called for a ride, I was told that they have no availability whatsoever today! Why send out confirmation to a customer? That makes Enterprise very unreliable. I have rented from them before without issues, but this is a big one for me. I also booked a rental for two weeks in May again for a vacation, but it makes me nervous that it's possible I may not get a car when I get there! So I booked one for tomorrow for one day and was told it will be more expensive, since it's Wednesday! I can see that happening on a weekend, but Wednesday? I'm definitely disappointed. read more

I'm 4 days into my "confirmed" rental period and still do not have a car as promised. They claim to be "overbooked". It sounds to me like an asset management issue. I just went online to check the status of my "confirmed" reservation and noticed it was deleted by Enterprise with no explanation, no email, no phone call, nothing. My previous rental was full of misery as well...Went to pick up my car and was told there are no cars available but if I wanted to wait a bit, they'll downgrade me to a lesser vehicle class after it runs through the car wash. I was told to "not worry" about the check engine light because it's "just routine maintenance. The car also had less than 1/2 tank of gas and the windshield washer warning light was also on for the entire rental period. This tells me that nobody bothers to check these vehicles in between rentals. I've never seen so much incompetence and poor customer service and management when renting a car. read more

I asked for a rental car that has WA plates, the last time I rented a car I was pulled over by the WA state patrol who made a big deal about out of state plates on Enterprise's rental car. Hunter threw a tantrum in the lobby after I told him he was being rude. I am a 51 year old African American mother/grandmother that was just involved in a bad car accident. He told me he wasn't going to rent a car to me, he wasn't going to give me a ride back home and HAPPY HOLIDAYS very loudly. Super funny and profoundly sad that he doesn't know how to act. read more

I do not recommend using Enterprise Bremerton. They were 45 minutes late to pick me up when they said it would be 15 minutes. When I got to enterprise they told me they didn't have a car because of a car shortage. I called a week in advance they had every opportunity to cancel or let me know they had a shortage. They grabbed me a damaged car that was at caliber collision and quickly cleaned it up. Unacceptable and really unprofessional business. read more

I called back to confirm the vehicle was ready however was not cleaned by our pickup time. In addition, the vehicle was not properly cleaned. Even though they knew my insurance covers my rental (or at least they should know since they SHOULD be industry experts with lots of experience in these matters) they swindled me into paying for their insurance on the rental at $17 per day. THEN... they said I could just call and have it removed. So when I did, they said I have to come in and sign. That would've been nice to know. I bet it's no problem to call and ADD insurance huh? But not to cancel. I explained to RACHEL that I felt taken advantage of. She was basically like " it was optional and you chose it, it's your fault." She was VERY uncaring and not nice. The intonation of her voice was annoyed and dispassionate. Technically it is my fault because of caveat emptor aka Buyer Beware. So do just that! BEWARE!!! These guys are still slimy sales people with quotas and care more about the bottom line than decency and helping customers become informed and optimizing the most value for the lowest price. read more

Epic Fail!! After making a reservation and receiving a confirmation for my rental. I was pleased to receive a phone call the day prior to picking up the car. They confirmed what time I would be picking it up and asked if I was using a major credit card or a debit card. The next day, I arrived at the scheduled time, my card and license were verified and I was then told that they were sorry but they had no car for me. This error cost me time and money and I never so much as got an, "I'm sorry". They told me they would call me IF something came in. BAD BUSINESS ENTERPRISE! So here I sit, in disbelief! Instead of, "Enterprise, we pick you up". I got, "Enterprise, we can't handle your pre-scheduled business"! It is now 8/19/20, still have not been back and at last check I have had 42 rental vehicles since this issue. Enterprise never made it right and it has cost them thousands in my business. read more

I don't rent cars very often, but needed 4 Wheel Drive to get up to the mountains. I read some scary reviews from other places around Kitsap and settled on Enterprise when they were able to price match - and beat a much lower rate from Avis for 4 Wheel Drive. Ended up in a Brand New Jeep Grand Cherokee with 59 Miles on it.. 59 ! It also had all the options including heated steering wheel (i didnt even know that existed, but its amazing when its 25 degrees). I travel often for work, and have a lot of experience with rental cars, and this is my least favorite office. Ranked with other rental car locations, this is far below par. Rented multiple times here due to convince to repair shops, but I have never had a good experience. Below are the main points: 1) Cars rarely (maybe never) come with a full tank of gas. This leads to standing at the gas pump trying to match an ambiguous mark on the gas gauge, and always overfilling for fear of getting charged for gas when returned. 2) Cars are always dirty, inside and out 3) Greedy. Always pushing for extra insurances and deceiving rates. While waiting for my last car I watched 2 people complain of being charged for insurances they didn't want. When I went to pick up my pre-arranged rate, they told me none of those were available and I'd have to pay more. This was worked out only taking an extra hour of my time. I've talked to staff here that have been plenty nice, but I think they are pushed to make the extra sale. I always have to be on my toes here and devote more time than I'd like to just get a rental. Personally, I have run out of patience for this location and will not be going back. read more

Still renting from this place and have learned a some things over some time. This office in Bremerton is a training center for new "managers" so people come and go from the office a lot in a short period of time frame. Sometimes that can lead to bad customer services to good customer service. So I will give it a three stars for it. One of the things I wish they would fix is the exit onto the road. It is a down hill with a regular curb you have to drive over and if you have a low car you are always going to road with the front end of you car. For this I will have to knock it down to a two star. But hey it still an upgrade from the 1 star, I gave a long time ago. read more

My husband and I got into a car accident and ended up renting here while our car was in the shop. They were quick to pick us up from the auto shop and gave us a really nice car to drive around. All of the people were very friendly to us. My only complaint and it's not even that bad, is we had to trade the car in for another one and they were saying we would get a better one and a "upgrade" from the avenger we were driving. Well, we went and they put us in a nice car, but not nearly as nice as they were promising. And that isn't even that bad. Overall they were really good. :) read more

Rented twice while I was on my month long vaca here in pnw. First time was ez and like it has always been in the past with all my transactions with enterprise, that's why I keep coming back. However second time was a little awkward. First off I made a reservation a couple of days in advance and said I would b there at 12 to pick it up. Well train was late coming in to Tacoma and i wanted to take my daughter and grand children out to lunch b 4 we headed back to Bremerton. I get a phone call at 1 asking if I was still renting from them. I explained what happened and that I would be there around 2:30. Employee sounded like I put her out and was not friendly at all. Get to enterprise and guess what? My car isn't ready. Girl waiting had tude. Said a bird sh*t on her head and proceeded to say I would have to wait for them to clean a car or I could take a dirty one w/15% discount. I waited for clean. It took like 5 min. Then she asked for a second number in case they can't reach me? Past enterprise rentals never asked for second number. Went to inspect car and I was asked to look at mileage and gas level? The staff is always very helpful and attentive. They always do their best to get you in a car in a timely manner. It also helps that they pick you up and drop you off when you need it as long as it's during business hours. I am so reluctant to post such a negative post, but in this case, this office totally failed in their customer service. I was doubled charged at the beginning of the rental. I informed the office manager the following morning and was informed that there was absolutely nothing they could do, since their system was showing one charge. I provided documentation of the double billing from the bank and still, No ownership was taken by either the local office or the regional office. Bottomline, it took exactly one week to get the issue resolved with nothing more than lip service from Enterprise. They need to figure out how to make the customers a priority and not make them feel like a nuisance..... read more

This was my first time renting a car. The entire office staff was professional. But I felt we got ripped. My wife reservation via her Costco membership. When we went to pick up the car. I gave the guy behind the desk our reservation details, and I was added as a driver. My wife joked why I just didnt put it in my name. The guy behind the desk said he could make the change no problem.We were charged 200 dollars (not including the 100 dollar refundable deposit)more than what our reservation quoted due to insurance, Even though our car insurance covers the full cost of a renal car during the period of the rental. We were forced to get insurance thru enterprise which jacked up the price. We needed the rental so we didn't gave a choice. Then to top it off when we returned the vehicle we told them of an error message that came on. But turned off during the rental. They guy said "oh no" and said was everything else fine. I told him that it was. He went to go look at the car and came back and said that they owe us only 30 bucks. I asked if that included the refundable deposit he said it was just a two week rental and the damage waiver and they should have withheld more when we got the car. So we would only be getting 30 back. I just shook my head and laughed. How is an 11 day rental turn into 2 weeks?? The guy just smiled. Total rippoff!! read more

Unbelievable customer service! From getting greeted at the door despite being pretty busy for a Sunday, to finding me a cellphone charger to borrow while I waited, everyone was so nice and helpful. Josh Read, the Assistant Manager, was also fantastic. He worked with our budget, didn't trying to push upgrades, explained the charges and insurance recommendations without trying to sell us over priced crap. Best of all we checked in and out in less that 15 minutes. I'm just blown away that my husband and I had such a positive experience in a place that can typically be such a hassle.
