Let me preface this by saying I despise buying cars from dealerships. I'm Gen X and have had…read morenothing but bad experiences my entire life, every single time I've needed a new car/truck. Ryan made the sale, by being a polite gentleman and giving us space to research our potential buy. AND he was candid about what he didn't know; not in an ignorance is my defense sort of way, but in a "I don't know this class of truck" way. But Val in finance was the absolute best. He got us a finance package I never expected. He saw our credit score and used that to get us so many extras, even though I was sold before his effort. I live two hours away, but will buy every new-to-me car through these guys for the foreseeable future. Super thankful and super vocal about my recommendation.

Hey PORT ORCHARD FORD how about a response?!?…read more 9/14/24 Update: hubby got a call from a salesman. They were excited to talk to him as he's bought a couple vehicles and hey, can he help out with inventory reduction?!? Well, no, but can you help get our 80k truck out of your service department since it's been there over a month and your third party warrantee is refusing to cover what you signed a contact to cover?? Buying experience? 5/5. Service experience?!? We need a lawyer. References? We have purchased or traded in three vehicles from PO Ford. The purchase for our last vehicle was top notch, until it wasn't, Hubby bought a crew cab Super Duty F250 diesel with ALL the trimmings, including a bumper to bumper and extended drive train warrantee, In two years only 20ish k miles of minimal driving, he only brought it into PO Ford for servicing and routine oil changes. Over a month ago, we were headed home and all of a sudden it made awful clunking noises, seized up, and we used AAA to have it towed to PO Ford. They started to assess it. They claimed the assessor found over $10k needing to be repaired. Third party warrantee says we did aftermarket work that voids the warranty. But we have paperwork showing $30k of aftermarket add ons by the original owner that were existing at time of purchase. We did NO changes. All oil changes and routine maintenance were by PO Ford. A week after submitting that documentation, they are claiming they have to submit further photos to the third party warrantee.... but it should be approved. So we have been without a very expensive vehicle for almost a month with repeated denials for a loaner, all because THEY didn't fully document upgrades on a vehicle they sold. Thank goodness hubby kept all the documentation from the original owner!! Long story short, PO Ford needs to buck up and honor their service warrantees. Edit. It's been over a month now. Supposedly the third party warrantee has now approved the repairs, including a known Ford recall (oil pan drip pan?) so we may have the truck back by the end of TWO MONTHS so it's drivable, and then will have to bring it back in to get further work done because parts won't be available first another extended period. So that means 2 months of not having a vehicle, at over $800/month payments , because PO Ford partners with a third party warrantee program that won't cover what they agreed to pay for for months? And multiple times refused a convenience vehicle? So much for the salmon season, so glad we bought a boat to fish using this fancy truck! What type of attorney do we want for this?

Our son has taken the car he bought through the sales dept. to the service dept for the required/recommended maintenance and told me how friendly they were. He even talked me up to Brent and ME up to Brent. So there was anticipation on both our parts. I was not disappointed and I trust Brent wasn't either. Brent immediately puts you at ease when you're first standing at the counter. I've never experienced such friendliness and confidence at any other auto dealer service desk, and rarely at any auto repair place. David, who sits next to him, is just as friendly. The oil change and vehicle inspection charge was fair and the turnaround time was quick--1 hour. Brent also had entered on my receipt the recommended service for next time and the estimated cost+tax. Oh, they also rotate tires for free on a specified schedule. This saves me from making a separate appointment at Costco where we bought the tires. Another added bonus. In this day of COVID, my son warned me masks aren't worn at the dealership. Well, I wear mine and I'm fully vaxxed and boosted and simply THRIVING with antibodies. So, I'm good. When I got home, I told my son and my wife that Brent and David were so friendly and conversational that it was like I was taking my car to a couple of friends who run an auto repair shop. THESE are the guys we're bringing our vehicle to for servicing from now on. At some future point they'll be servicing the vehicle we bought from the sales dept.

However, due to their mistake, I have to wait 6-8 weeks for $9,500 to fall off of my loan with the lender and refinance to lower my note to what it should have initially been. Additionally, I've emailed TWICE about the brake pad warnings popping up on my car when I haven't had it two weeks and my dealer warranty is still 3 months. No one has been responding, so my next move is to show up to the dealership. I will not be changing my review to add stars unless my brakes are fixed or someone compensates me for having them fixed elsewhere. Shop here at your own discretion, but heed my warning...there are far better places to go, especially if you are a woman. __________________ OP: I had an extremely long review written out, but it has since expired so I will come back to re-write this at a later date. Gist: Rayvin is great! Finance added $3,500 in charges for "accessories" (car didn't even come with a spare tire much less accessories) and United Care Care ($6,000 undisclosed) onto my contract without showing me beforehand. I had my son with me, so I was a little preoccupied, but the finance employee breezed over paperwork without disclosing line items. I got home and read through my paperwork far more thoroughly and noticed these charges. Now I am responsible for $9,500 I did not consent to and feel like they straight up f*cked me over simply because I did not have my husband with me and was distracted with my child. Predatory behavior.

The oil change was pretty quick and they offer a military discount which saved me some money. They just implemented a new after-hours key pickup drop box that worked very well. That allowed me to pick up my car after they closed. They also offer you the option of paying for your service online which was very convenient. The waiting area was cool; it has a huge fish tank right in the middle plus complementary coffee available, which was nice. I would give 5 stars but they forgot to replace the battery in my key fob as they said they would! Overall, I was very happy with the service.

My vehicle was returned dirtier than before with broken pieces, less gas, more miles, and communication with them dropped overtime alongside with inaccurate information given to me. I purchased a new vehicle, had it for 1 month, and then had it serviced under warranty due to several issues. After 4 months of my car being under their care, they returned my vehicle in a less than favorable condition than how I left it. The floor door hinge had a broken crack, additional cracks on the plastic were visible by the glove box compartment, my brown leather seats had notable dirt marks, the fuse box cover had scuffs all over it. I found a paint chip on the hood of my car. They ran almost 50 miles on my vehicle for test driving on my personal gas and dime. My key fob had the physical key cover missing. As for the customer service, worked with Ryan, love his personality and professionalism, but over the course of 4 months and the running frustrations of issues on my vehicle, communication grew less. He communicated many times that my vehicle would be ready on several dates and occasions, none of that was true, so when he would communicate when the vehicle was ready again, at that point, I couldn't trust his words. I'd request a service report on multiple occasions, and it would not be sent to me in a timely manner or they'd neglect to even send it to me. When I picked up my vehicle, got to talk to the assit. service manager, Zach, he was clearly daunted by my service report when I asked for a run through. I expressed my frustrations, he tried to empathize with me, but it wasn't enough to makeup for my expierence or to build any confidence that they would make it right. He highlighted the $50 coupon to detail my car with them and the free car wash coupon I get, and explained how they do get busy and sometimes forget and went on to share how they did approx. 10k worth of repairs on my car and how test driving the car is normal. After this expierence, I would not reccomend anyone to buy a Hyundai. Everyone told me not to, based on the bad rep. they get, I wanted to see it myself, and I can confirm that having Hyundai may not be the best purchase decision coming from my expierence. If I could share general constructive feedback to the team, it'd be to provide accurate, truthful, and consistent communication to your customers even if it means saying "we project this date for pick-up, but it's not gaurentee." Improve communication between team members, in case someone is out of office, having a better hand-over to a teammate who can take care of action items that were suppose to be followed up, do better with inspections prior to handing over a vehicle to the customer (make sure parts are returned where they're support to be, and make sure there's no broken pieces).

When I called and talked to them it was obvious from talking to the 1st salesman that he knew little to nothing about the vehicle. He was supposed to call back the next day but did not. I called again the following day and talked to a different salesman. After asking for and receiving additional pictures of the vehicle, I made them an offer under their asking price. They called me back later and told me they would no longer sell me the vehicle for the asking price, but if I wanted it it would be an additional $3000. You can't get much more unethical than that. I mean its bad. the staff on this visit was friendly and low/no pressure. the car I purchased I knew more about than the salesman (not saying anything bad here, it was a Nissan Leaf and not everyone is acquainted with it). we did test drive the car and even moved it to a nearby quick charger so it'd be ready for the trip home. the paperwork didn't go bad (mostly due to dealing with my credit union and not entirely their fault) but overall a bit slower than I expected. so the cleanliness and clutter of the office area sort of put me off but customer service this day was really above & beyond. the car's 110V charger was missing from the car. as soon as the owner of the business learned this he started hunting one down locally. in the end I left with the car and the 110V home charger. through the entire process the wait time for the charger could've added an hour overall. I'm so torn about my rating of this place because I really feel the the interior of the building really doesn't do them justice. the level of effort they put into that charger and interaction regarding charging the car before I left and getting me the home charger and the real face to face interactions really makes up for that interior. the face to face service should dictate 4-5 stars. that cluttered interior... hm. closer to a 2 star. if anything changes regarding getting me plates etcetera I'll update this review. update regarding the plates. I failed to mention that I addressed an envelope for the plates and registration (on Saturday) before I left there. I had the plates by the following Friday. I've never received my plates so quick with any other car purchase. these guys genuinely try for GREAT customer service.
