    !!!READ!!! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!

    Zero stars for Enterprise (had to select 1star in order to submit this review), especially this location on 4445 Altama Ave. in Brunswick Ga. I've been using Enterprise for years and never had any issues until I rented from this location. I agreed to a hold of $300 that would be deposited back into my account after I returned the van. I have four small children ofcourse they are messy especially after a long trip. Well instead of returning the $300 deposit back to my account I was charged a fee of $150 for cleaning the van. I returned the van on the day I agreed to with no stains, no rips and no trash etc just some food crumbs. Nothing $150 worth of cleaning. For that I would of gladly vacuumed the van myself. I recommend using the Golden Isles Airport for your future rentals. They have fantastic customer service and no "cleaning fees" I will never use Enterprise again!

    I have to agree with all the many other negative reviews. Dropped my rental off here after driving from Philly to Jekyll. I had an agreement with my insurance company for unlimited mileage, and to fill the car with gas before returning. I did all that. No other strings. When I arrived at this location, the employee told me, "Oh, we're now charging for too much pet hair in a car." Ummm, well, you need to alert the customer in advance, and that would need to be checked on in my contract, number one, and "too much" is pretty subjective, I'd say. I drove down alone with my son, and zero dogs. I DID put two heavy throw rugs down in the cargo area, to protect the car from all our stuff on the long journey. The rugs had been freshly laundered, but may have had some dog hair on them due to the dogs I live with, but lots of people live with dogs and cats, and other animals, and this is not unusual. My dogs, traveled in a separate car, and they were right there, in that other car, in the parking lot, so I could jump in and leave after dropping off my rental. The clipboard guy saw all this, AND I explained it to him in case he missed it, but he REPEATEDLY accused me of having dogs in the car. No. And stop putting your lies on me! Nope. Sorry. Just my luggage and some throw rugs. Wish you had a hidden camera to check! No dogs in my car. But I really shouldn't have to defend myself against his deceitful assertions. And yes, as mentioned, I spent 20 hours driving in this car, and I had unlimited mileage as part of my contract, so yeah, you're going to have to vacuum it from a long trip, and stop trying to concoct side reasons to blame me for the chore you have to do so you can charge extra. Totally obnoxious. I phoned my Enterprise office and they told me to just get these jokers to leave the file suspended so my office could close it out. Brunswisk noted "excessive dog hair" like little hall monitors, and then my office just removed the charge, closed it out, and in two seconds, all was done. Thanks for making my experience unnecessarily and ridiculously annoying, and trying to pin your lies about who rode in my car on me. Sorry you have to vacuum after a 20 hour trip, but that's part of the deal.

    Maintenance required light on the entire time I had the car.

    Friendly staff. Great choice of vehicles to rent! I use them whenever I need to rent a car. They do pickups too!

    Terrible location with rude, unhelpful employees who after ignoring my calls and hanging up on me didn't even rent me the car I reserved.

I did not feel comfortable driving it, so I opened the hood to check whether anything looked obviously wrong. I found fluid reservoirs that appeared to be empty, including the coolant and brake fluid reservoirs. Given the smell and what I saw under the hood, I felt the car was unsafe to drive and returned it immediately. When I came back to the counter, the agent was dismissive and snarky, insisting that all of their cars are well maintained. That was not reassuring, especially after what I had just seen. They did give me a replacement vehicle, but the second car smelled heavily like cigarette smoke, as if it had been smoked in for years. I checked under the hood again and again found what appeared to be an empty brake fluid reservoir. At that point, I canceled the rental entirely. This ruined my family's plans for the day and wasted a significant amount of time. I understand that rental cars can have issues, but two problematic vehicles in a row, combined with a dismissive attitude from staff, is unacceptable. I would not rent from this location again. At a minimum, these vehicles need to be inspected carefully before being handed to customers, especially when there are possible brake/coolant fluid issues and obvious smoke odors. Safety should not be treated casually.

We were charged a $200 cleaning fee because the attendant found a tiny amount of dog hair in the vehicle. As any dog owner (especially of dogs who shed even more when the seasons change) can attest, a certain amount of dog hair follows you around even when your dogs aren't present. Our dogs were never in the vehicle (even though we weren't notified that dogs weren't allowed until we picked up the vehicle) but dog hair was present on some level on our clothes, luggage, etc. so it's not surprising that a small amount of hair was found in the car. While we would have been happy to spend five minutes vacuuming the car ourselves if we'd known this location was so unreasonable, the trace amount of dog hair (in an otherwise super clean vehicle) would not have added any additional time to the standard vehicle cleaning/check-in process. That makes it even more difficult for me to believe their policy is to charge a customer these outrageous fees without any negligence.
