On the first day, I rented a car via the website. Once I was in my Uber headed to pick it up I received a phone call telling me that there were no cars for me to rent. Therefore the reservation has been canceled. On day two, I call the reservation number, talk to a representative, explain yesterday's situation, and ask that he double check availability. He double checks and assures me that there will be a car for me. I ask him to triple check because yesterday's experience cannot be repeated. He assures me that he has triple checked. I take my Uber to the location and am told that there are no cars to rent. I call the reservation line and tell the representative my story. He kisses my boo-boo and tells me it will be taken care of. Meanwhile, the personnel actually standing before me are less optimistic. There's always a perfectly logical explanation for how I am getting repeatedly shucked here. "It's our system" or what-the-heck ever. Either way I remain thoroughly and totally shucked, having paid for a ride TWICE. At this point I am editing my original review... Well, it actually is the Enterprise system. Maybe they're a little too flexible on return dates and times. This is what leads to showing up to no cars available. I finally wound up with a car. I even extended my rental by one day with no hassle. But there has to be a better system. The stress was unnecessary but I didn't have to walk. Needed a pickup truck and when we showed up they didn't have any vehicle even close to the size of a pickup truck. Said they tried to call us to inform us one wasn't available - oddly no message or missed call on our phones - not the first time I've heard that story from this Enterprise. Woman at the front counter who helped us was very smug and has no customer service skills. This is not the first time I've showed up when I couldn't get a vehicle but previously they were able to make something work out this time no effort made just the smug attitude from the the woman at the counter, really couldn't have been handled worse. read more

I have used Enterprise in Waycross often, however, for convenience this time I decided to use Brunswick. So on Monday 8/4/2025 I booked a car for the weekend of Saturday 8/9. Today less then 24hrs before my trip I was told there was no car available for me. I spoke with Enterprise Corporate and they assured me they would get back in touch and I got no call from them. If they had given me enough notice they would have no cars I could have made other arrangements. I tend to think that because I only booked the car for 3 days they booked it out to someone wanting a longer rental. Why else take the booking and then cancel? Absolutely terrible treatment and a lost weekend trip. read more

Zero stars for Enterprise (had to select 1star in order to submit this review), especially this location on 4445 Altama Ave. in Brunswick Ga. I've been using Enterprise for years and never had any issues until I rented from this location. I agreed to a hold of $300 that would be deposited back into my account after I returned the van. I have four small children ofcourse they are messy especially after a long trip. Well instead of returning the $300 deposit back to my account I was charged a fee of $150 for cleaning the van. I returned the van on the day I agreed to with no stains, no rips and no trash etc just some food crumbs. Nothing $150 worth of cleaning. For that I would of gladly vacuumed the van myself. I recommend using the Golden Isles Airport for your future rentals. They have fantastic customer service and no "cleaning fees" I will never use Enterprise again! read more

Terrible and dangerous - don't use . I made an online reservation with Enterprise Brunswick, Ga for 6:00 pm. They called me the day before and confirmed my reservation and vehicle type . Did not say a word about closing at 6:00 pm when they called or when I reserved online . I flew in, arrived via Uber at 6:00 pm with my luggage . The employee outside didn't say a word as my uber drove off then she snuck in side door. Front door locked- manger Tarek S. Finally cracked door and told me they were closed . I explained I had a reservation for 6:00 pm and they didn't say they would be closed when I arrived at reservation time. He gave zero cares , left me standing in the rain and dark to wait for over an hour for another uber to finally arrive (small town, few rides). Dangerous and unprofessional . read more

This review is for Enterprise CORPORATE. My daughter needs a car to drive from Myrtle Beach SC to Brunswick GA. She is coming to pick me up and drive my car back to Myrtle Beach. Enterprise has no cars for a one way trip. What a sad situation for a company which receives income from RENTING CARS. We have rented cars from Enterprise several times in the past. NEVER AGAIN! They suck!!! They screwed up my previous reservation but I got over it and thought that they would be better this time. I go in the day before my reservation and I speak with them, just to make sure everything's OK. I'm promised my pick of the vehicles because the whole parking lot is full and I tell them what I want. They're nice to me and they just keep saying good things and how happy I'm going to be. I left feeling blessed.... I drive all the way back to Brunswick to pick up my vehicle and they only give me the options of two nasty old vehicles that smelled. They were reject vehicles... what kind of customer service is that!!!!! I'm promised one thing and then handed another!!! I have had a great experience renting from this location. The workers are very nice, and they do their best to accommodate my requests.

I have to agree with all the many other negative reviews. Dropped my rental off here after driving from Philly to Jekyll. I had an agreement with my insurance company for unlimited mileage, and to fill the car with gas before returning. I did all that. No other strings. When I arrived at this location, the employee told me, "Oh, we're now charging for too much pet hair in a car." Ummm, well, you need to alert the customer in advance, and that would need to be checked on in my contract, number one, and "too much" is pretty subjective, I'd say. I drove down alone with my son, and zero dogs. I DID put two heavy throw rugs down in the cargo area, to protect the car from all our stuff on the long journey. The rugs had been freshly laundered, but may have had some dog hair on them due to the dogs I live with, but lots of people live with dogs and cats, and other animals, and this is not unusual. My dogs, traveled in a separate car, and they were right there, in that other car, in the parking lot, so I could jump in and leave after dropping off my rental. The clipboard guy saw all this, AND I explained it to him in case he missed it, but he REPEATEDLY accused me of having dogs in the car. No. And stop putting your lies on me! Nope. Sorry. Just my luggage and some throw rugs. Wish you had a hidden camera to check! No dogs in my car. But I really shouldn't have to defend myself against his deceitful assertions. And yes, as mentioned, I spent 20 hours driving in this car, and I had unlimited mileage as part of my contract, so yeah, you're going to have to vacuum it from a long trip, and stop trying to concoct side reasons to blame me for the chore you have to do so you can charge extra. Totally obnoxious. I phoned my Enterprise office and they told me to just get these jokers to leave the file suspended so my office could close it out. Brunswisk noted "excessive dog hair" like little hall monitors, and then my office just removed the charge, closed it out, and in two seconds, all was done. Thanks for making my experience unnecessarily and ridiculously annoying, and trying to pin your lies about who rode in my car on me. Sorry you have to vacuum after a 20 hour trip, but that's part of the deal. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! They will scam you! I rented a car from them for an entire month. When I went and returned the vehicle, an employee checked the inside and outside of the vehicle, gave me a thumbs up and said it was all good, had me sign a paper and he returned my $300 deposit. This was at 0830 in the morning. Later that afternoon, at 4:30, I get a call saying there is water damage to the passenger side of the vehicle. They say it's my fault and I did it. They questioned me, asking if I rode through large puddles or left the window down, WHICH I DID NOT DO BECAUSE I DID NOT CAUSE THE DAMAGE. Now my insurance has to pay them $18,000 for a claim they put in saying their vehicle is now a total loss. What did they do to the vehicle in that 8 hour time frame???? An employee did something to that vehicle and now I'm being blamed for it and it's going to be a claim on my insurance which is gonna make my car insurance go through the freaking roof! I will NEVER rent from this place or any enterprise location again. They are hot GARBAGE!! read more

The reason why I give this facility a three star is because I was given a car that had a maintenance required light on the dashboard and when I requested the gas to be prefilled they told me that they didn't have that option there. When I went to return the car and told the agent that the maintenance required light was on he just said ok, we'll check that out. No I'm sorry about that or let me give you a discount for that. Nothing. That maintenance reqd light could've meant anything and that's not safe. Other than that the fellas working behind the desk are nice. read more

I rented a car from here after mine was hit by no fault of mine . When I returned the car they said there was damage under the car. It had a flat tire on a holiday so they towed it away since they were closed. I did not do the damage to their car at all I'm sure the insurance companies will figure this out . I was given a car with an empty gas tank. A new low. The attendant said he could put gas in for me but he would have to drive all the way across town. Instead he gave me a 10% discount; not on the entire rental cost but on the actual daily price of the car. It ended up being $4 off. We rented and reserved a vehicle online 2 weeks in advance and stopped by the location 2 times to make sure that there would be no problems on pick up day! NOPE!! I should be packing my vehicle not searching for one. They never called me ahead to save me the trip up there to be told they do not have one!! This has happened twice now with this location. They had 2 SUVs in the lot 2 days ago and knew there was a reservation and did not hold it to have for us!! Im so disappointed and aggravated. I had a very good experience with this location. I forgot to bring my credit card with me at pick up and it was nearly closing time. The trip to my house and back takes an hour and the staff waited for me to return when I am sure they wanted to go home. Troy was super helpful and worked out a number of issues for me. The truck I rented was really, really nice and the pick up and drop off process was extremely easy. I will rent from them again if the need arises. read more

Enterprise sent me a note and asked for a review. They should probably be more careful with that. I had a two day rental last week. It was promptly billed for 3 days. I have called the location on 3 different occasions over the past week to have this resolved. Each time they have assured me that the bill would be revised and sent to me right away. My car was booked through my company, and we do extensive business with enterprise. I would not use them again if I were not compelled to via work. I am putting the bill in to dispute with American Express, as calling is no longer worth my time. read more

As a regular customer with Enterprise I was very disappointed and actually cut my rental time short. I got a huge Chrysler 300 and I was not happy with a car that big. I was called and offered a Maxima the next day (another trip from SSI). The car was fine but the smell of smoke was overwhelming from inside the car. I turned the car in the next day. Confirmed many times that a car was available each time was an affirmative answer. On our way to the location in a forty foot motorhome because we were told they could not deliver. I have rented from this location several times and my experience has been somewhat consistent. Staff is accommodating but you rarely get what you reserve and when they cannot provide the reserved vehicle they often try to upcharge for the available units. I have even had to wait a day for a rental on a couple of occasions. Also be sure to be ultra careful checking a rental for damages as I was charged for damages I did not see when checking out.. I did not create the damage and my american express wouldn't cover the damage due to the rental being switched to a truck rather than the car I had reserved (AMEX won't cover rental damage on a truck). To repeat the staff seems to try hard but the reservation system is horrible and there seems to be little support from corporate for the local staff. I feel sorry for them! read more

I rented a car for a one-way rental from Tifton to this location. I was a little disappointed with the Tifton location (they charged me a drop fee of $150), so I certainly wasn't expecting to catch a break at this location. I was trying my hardest to get to the location by 6 when they closed. My mom beat me there and told them a was almost there but would be a couple minutes after 6. They could not have been nicer!! There were 2 guys there who had such a great attitude and honestly are the only reason I may still consider using Enterprise in the future. In particular, Jeff just really made this experience a great one and did more than I could've expected to atone for the average/poor service I got at the Tifton location. Three times we have had a horrible experience with Enterprise. And we've rented over 50 times in the past 5 years. But recently it's gotten terrible. We have a member account, reserve online, get there as they open, and guess what? No cars available!!! One time they asked us to wait 30 minutes. Twice they have put us in substandard cars for what we reserved. Today they had a perfectly good car available on the lot but they said it was reserved for someone else. Who is getting that kind of service if we're members with over 50 past rentals. Never again! read more
