I called and booked/scheduled a rental pick up for 12pm. After spending $22 on Uber to get there the lady at the front desk wanted to charge me $300 more than the original price for a two day rental with no explanation, but I didn't have any prior history with enterprise. The folks here are really nice giving excellent service and it is an easy pick up and return process. But.... They are greedy criminals and will force you into a monster size vehicle when you are getting a car repaired. They are trying to make sure they can take advantage of your full insurance coverage. This will result in you having to pay extra when more days are needed fro repair than your insurance will cover. DO NOT settle for a larger more expensive vehicle if you only need a small car. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for over a month. It has to do with an overcharge on my bill and it's not a small amount. I wrote to customer service and to the manager of the Colerain store. I received an email from the manager that he forwarded the info to the area manager. That has been the only communication I have received. I have not heard from the area manager or anyone from Enterprise. I have emailed several times and nothing. This is a horrible way to be treated. I will never use this Enterprise again and I suggest that everyone stay clear of this location. This is no way for a business to handle a customer's complaint. Mouhamed, the assistant manager, checked me in super quick and with a can do attitude, then when I brought the car back he was there to greet me and had my driver waiting to take me back to my mechanic. A bit rough around the edges here. Short staffed for Saturday business. I returned the car earlier than anticipated which I didn't believe to be an issue. The door was open therefore I walked in only to he told "were technically closed". I found this to be rude and in very poor taste. I was just dropping the keys off anyway. I like the fact that they will actually drive the car to you if you cant make it to the physical location. We couldn't afford to wait after my wife nearly totaled her car in a freak accident. (She came out without a scratch). Enterprise was really easy to work with and the staff were super relaxed which I think helped the situation. They gave us options to choose from and we opted to buy gas from them (under $2 a gallon). this was not the first time I have used them. For a while my car seemed like a target for every bad driver in Cincinnati. the care we chose only had 1000 miles and was really smooth to drive. We took it on a road trip to see what it was made of and had no issues. I think they actually sell the cars after they reach a certain mileage. I might have to look into that. read more

Went here because it was close to the auto body shop where my car was getting work done. I had a fantastic experience with this location from beginning to end! The driver that picked me up at the Auto shop was super pleasant and nice. Its been a month and I can't remember his name...but he was great! AJ took great care of me when I checked out as well. The insurance company tried to stick me with the bill for the last few days over the weekend that I had the car, but AJ helped me out! They said they didn't have the car and I couldn't have it until Friday (2 days later), they also said they called me earlier and left a voice mail. The car was $275 for the week, which was close to half what everyone else was charging. I have a business trip to Iowa this week, there is 20" of snow on the ground in Iowa so I called enterprise yesterday to confirm I will definitely have an SUV ( since they screwed up last time) they confirmed it. I showed up today to find out they have zero SUVs available but they did have a minivan or a Ford Fusion. I canceled the reservation and will not give them any more chances. I'm not sure if he is working off commission or what, but he was very pushy, and obviously his sales tactic didn't work. The location is convenient however I cannot recommend this branch of Enterprise they tried to force me to purchase insurance that I did not need. They asked me if I had my personal vehicle auto insurance card which I don't travel around with. I told them I had collision coverage with my credit card which she wanted proof of as well. I had to call my credit card company and have them speak to her about what my credit card would cover. This has never happened with the many cars i have rented at Enterprise or anywhere else. When I returned the car I noted on the transaction agreement that the additional insurance was optional and got a lot of double talk when I confronted her. read more

On 8/10/15 I came into the branch to pick up a vehicle on reserve. I was told by Nathan at Enterprise that the digital register on the Malibu showed an inaccurate PSI on the tires as low, but they were 'fine' and not low. In Columbus, the car began shaking and rattling, and suddenly a loud POP filled the car as the tire blew on the highway. Shaking and terrified it was clear to me the digital display was not inaccurate, enterprise was....and that the risk to my safety was completely avoidable. I pulled off to a rest stop as it was the closest to where I was. Upon calling location 3802 to explain what occurred, I was told to drive to the Delaware Ohio location on the donut a stranger changed for me to pick up another vehicle. Enterprise did not offer to come to me, send roadside assistance to change my tire, or offer anything other than an address. I had to make all the calls and moves to find a solution. It was storming, visibility was very low and Delaware location was off several back country roads. Adding an additional unnecessary time and stress to my travel, I was downgraded to an Accent at the Delaware location, I wasn't worried about the size of the vehicle, but I was worried about the condition. It was stained on the inside, and even in the storm, the knocking and grinding coming from the right side was clearly audible. I called the Colerain store the next morning when they opened and spoke with Stephen about the condition of the vehicle. On my way into the hospital it knocked and was grinding and even the passenger stated it didn't sound safe. I saw an enterprise on my way into the Hospital on Turkeyfoot Lane and made a note and informed him I would like him to set up a pickup at that location. He asked that I call the 800 number myself because "they take care of all of that" and "it will just be faster if I call". I explained I'd already wasted 25 minutes in addition to the nightmare yesterday, but he said it was the best option instead of him doing. With little time at the hospital for any sort of breaks, I called the 800 number. I called, I was told that no location had vehicles available, but she asked "how about I drive to the airport?" I declined. I informed her that I was there on business, and personally, I'd gone far above and beyond what a customer should do-changing a busted tire, driving to Delaware, locating a close enterprise and then calling the 800 number--not one employee of Enterprise ever really offered any sort of help. At all! I asked that a vehicle be dropped off--and I was told I would be charged for the drop off and pick up if that was what I chose. I could not believe that I would be charged for all of the issues they caused, so I had to decline and asked that another solution be determined. The rep said she would just file a complaint against the original location-which was futile, as they were already aware of the issues and compounded the problems-they were the genesis of the issue. Upon receiving the complaint, Stephen called me back, stating he would be sending a car to my hotel around 5:30. He then called at 6:30 and stated the tow truck tried to get the vehicle but the Airport location refused to release a vehicle, but he was resubmitting the request. He asked how long I would be available. Explaining I had to get up very early for my next work day, I explained I would be available until 9:30 he said they would be here by then. No one showed. I called the 800 number after waiting 3 hours and the rep who answered the phone asked how he could help, I briefly explained my issue and without asking for my name, number, reference info -NOTHING, asked me to hold then transferred me to roadside assistance-I was left on hold. The rep who answered explained Stephen never documented anything on my account after 4 pm and no tow truck was coming but she could send another request. I explained I am unable to wait for the tow company until midnight or 1am. She said that was my only option. I waited. Nearly 2 hours. No one came. I had waited a total of 11 hours since my original notification that a tow truck would be coming. I received a call from the tow truck driver who stated Enterprise at the airport again refused a vehicle and said they weren't linked to any other enterprise and no one told them. I emailed the corporate complaint department with this information around midnight requesting a call when they opened. I provided my name, phone number, the stores phone number, and their internal number to identify the store. They never responded. No car was sent. I had to go online and reserve a vehicle pick it up because they told me no car was available. Turns out I had to trick them. They didnt respond, apologize or reach out. Eeh-methinks not is an understatement. Never again is more like it. read more

I rent a car from Enterprise on Colerain once, sometimes two times per month and have been doing so for well over a year. With only one or two exceptions my experience there has been 5 star all the way. And the reason is not only the very friendly and professional service but, most importantly, when there was an issue they dealt with it quickly and completely. They have great customer service and clean cars. I plan on using them for all my business and personal rentals for years to come. read more

This place is full of bad customer service. Had a reservation and still had to wait over an hour to get a rental. Everyone that came after even left. The agent kept trying to sale me insurance coverage that I did not need. After forgetting something in the car when I returned it and I attempted to call them they put me on hold for 45 minutes only to inform me that they not find anything. I am so happy that my total for the rental was only .60 cent after using the points that my sister transferred to me. I would no longer spend a dime on Enterprise car rental. read more

I rent from them several times a year. For the most part I have had a good experience. I have on two occasions been given cars with dirty interiors. On one occasion the car did not have wiper fluid and it could have been disastrous as I was in Chicago at night and was splashed with dirty water while in the high speed lane on 80 which is 4 lanes wide. I had about an inch of space on the front window that I could see through and managed to get over the 4 lanes and find a gas station and bought some wiper fluid. I can not over state how bad a situation it was. They recently decided to have individuals that leave their car at the rental agency park their car at the farthest point of their lot. It seems they are much more concerned about their cars than the customers. Their cars are inside a gated area or closest to the road. I can guarantee that it is just a matter of time before cars that are left there overnight will be broken into. I figure they realize it as they now have you sign a document that states you agree that Enterprise will not be held liable. I would not drop my rental car off after hours and walk back to my car. Someone is going to be robbed or worse as they walk back to their car. It is just a matter of time. If you are a lady, please heed this warning read more

The last time I went to this location, I reserved a vehicle for a trip to Myrtle Beach. When I arrived, they did not have the vehicle I reserved or any large SUVs, instead, I was provided the option to rent a minivan--I was not pleased? I said I wasn't going to go back to Enterprise after that incident, I should have stuck to it. Today, I had another horrendous experience at this same location. Since I am purchasing a home, I did not utilize a credit card, as I was informed not to; instead, I elected to pay with a debit card. After making my reservation, I received a confirmation call informing me to bring in copies to verify proof of residence and my identity. When I arrived this morning, I submitted my proof of identity; I was told a photocopy of the bills/check stubs was not sufficient. He told me my documents looked fraudulent!? He then prompted me to log into my account to verify the documents. He said all of this was a "corporate" policy. Once I logged into the account, simply verifying the information was not good enough. He needed pictures of my PDF documents online; I was so confused. I'm not letting you take pictures of my online account; I've never heard of such a request. I was treated like a criminal and a thief. The experience was so embarrassing. After 30 minutes of going back and forth with this man, I left this location and went to the Kenwood location. I successfully rented a car, in less than 10 minutes. The employee simply verified my documents--the same documents I took to the Colerain location, and said, "Everything looks good." I asked her if she needed me to log into my account for further verification. She stated she did not. I asked her if there was a policy where Enterprise needs to take pictures, specifically of PDF documents for "corporate", and again her response was, "No." I don't understand why I was treated with such disregard and handled so unprofessionally. The rep, which was the manager, was condescending and rude. I will never go back to that location. EVER!!! Save your time and go to Kenwood. They were amazing. read more

Would definitely not rent from them. Tyler, completely ignored the fact that I had a horrible customer service experience. The car that Erica put me in wasn't cleaned, sticky cup holders, grass on the mats and when I complained her response was "sometimes we can't get stains out" I requested a different car and she said they didn't have any. A guy pulled up and I ended up just taking his car "as is." Erica took $3 off the rental for this...seriously? This process took 40 mins . I returned the car today and waited over 20 mins to be seen. When I complained to Tyler the manager she said someone will be with you. How long have you been waiting? She had two guys in the back and didn't bother to ask them to return to the front . I complained to the guy that finally came to help me and he said sorry to hear that. Tyler the manager is standing 2 computers down and says nothing. I said I have a 3 month old waiting can you pls hurry and check me out. Not only did he NOT hurry he went out and moved the car to the rear then came in printed my receipt. Rented me a car at 9:00 am and by 2:00 pm were calling my parents phone number (not mine? bizarre!) requesting that I bring the car back because it had been 'retired from their fleet'. Riddle me this.....how could they not know it had been retired prior to giving it to me? And why is it my problem to figure out a way to bring it back to them...they claim to be the rental company that picks you up, then they should come pick up their car and bring me another one. Car broke down today and had it towed to a shop. The shop gave me the number to this enterprise so I called. Set up a reservation and got a price for a 5 day rental. This was not a direct call as I'm assuming a call center. But seemed easy... WELL I Uber from the shop to enterprise and when I walked in and let the young lady know I was there to pick up a car and I had a reservation. She asked my name so I told her. She said no reservations under that name? And she literally looked at me like why am I still standing there? Like how dare I walk into her store. At this point Josh the manager walks up very stern and unfriendly to say the least. And told me they have no cars available and that they shouldn't have givin me a reservation. At this point I'm literally stranded in this enterprise due to no reservation witch in fact I made a reservation previous. Josh then asked me for my driver's license and credit card. I gave him both. He then told me he wouldn't rent to me due to me having a florida drivers license? He made me pull up my paycheck stub online and my utility bills. Also my proof of insurance. And at the end of all that he told me there was no way he was going to rent to me. I then asked for corporates number to in fact find out why my reservation wasn't there. A young lady sitting down in the back yelled out the corporate number, didn't even get up to give it to me face to face. Then gives me a number to enterprise car sales!! Like really?!?! At this point another young lady walks up to me and literally tapes a sheet of paper on to the counter in front of me that says they will not rent to out of state driver's license holders. By this point I was livid and flat out told her ok I get it. You want me to leave. So I left and went to another car rental place. I've used enterprise many times on vacations and such with an out of state license and never ever had any issues. The customer service was horrible. I was not told that i needed two utilitiy bills and check stub. I was told that i could pay in advance only to find out a week before pickup that it wasnt true. i was told about a $100.00 deposit via text message the day before pickup even though i was in there a week before and no one mentioned it. Due to the deposit i had to leave and put additional money on my card, i was told this was ok. I went one block down, put the money on and returned in less than 10 minutes and they gave my vehicle to someone else. They swiped my card and said it was declined, so i went cross town to the enterprise in Walnut Hills and had no problems renting a vehicle on the spot. Worst experience ever. I'm an independent insurance agent. Whenever possible I send my clients to this particular Enterprise branch. Why? It is simply because they always do their best for my clients. Anyone I send to this branch never seems to have a problem and frequently comments about the great experience. And before anyone jumps to conclusions, I don't get anything from Enterprise Corporate or the branch - no personal rental discounts or freebies of any kind. The service was great once I picked up my car but once I returned the vehicle and received my bill, that's when the issue started. The charges were different than what Brandon originally discussed with me, but apparently he couldn't remember the discussion but them decided to tell feed me a lie about something he remembered me saying but I never said. Was very displeased especially being told they deal with so many customers so they couldn't remember telling me the price but could distinctly remember telling me I needed a larger vehicle, which I never said and then Brandon told me he was doing me a favor. High pressure to buy everything....their insurance, take their gas plan and sell me on a car above what my insurances allotted daily budget. I have had it with this place and possible company as a whole! I have had issues in the past with this location. First issues was that they gave me a car not once but TWICE with expired tags! Luckily they was out of state tags and I didnt get a ticket or pulled over, I take partial responsibly for not checking, but you would think they would have this up to date. Second issue, not once but TWICE again I got 2 vehicles that need oil change...I do not like to rent cars that have issues, that defeats the purpose of a rental CAR! And lastly their way of squeezing more money out of you...If you return your rental after they have closed for the day, not only are you still responsible for the vehicle (even tho it's still on their lot) and they will charge YOU and extra day...do they tell you this before you leave?? The answer is NO! So if you have no other choice and use this location here are some tips 1. Make sure the tags are not expired (who knows what crap they will try and pull on you if you get a ticket for it) 2. Make sure its not due for an oil change, because if you call and try to trade they will beg you to waste you time and get is change, because making them work extra is sinful 3. If you miss your time to turn it in...Just keep it, they will charge you another day for it anyway! I have read this complaints before and ignored them because I thought "Oh maybe it was just that 1 employee that screwed that customer over" but no, I have rented there for years and every time I have to deal with new crap!
