avoid. avoid. avoid. thanks for ruining my wedding. i booked through expedia, paid for my car and insurance and in advance and over a month ago. they tried to run a scam and say i never paid them. wells fargo said otherwise. i then had to get on the phone with enterprise and argue with them. i had to call my bank and get the charges reversed. it will take two to three business days to get the charges reversed. my wedding is tommorrow. i had to call nearly everyone in my family and start making other arrangements for my family to go in other family meembers cars because of this. i do not care if i have to pay other fees because i use a debit card. at this point, a wedding, money is no object, however, i will not fall for a scam and nearly 600 $ twice equalling 1200 $. i had my weddi ng planned for a great deal of time only to have enterprise ruin it before it began. read more

They have a lot of stuff hidden in the contracts. If you do rent from them I would definitely get the extra insurance and take your own pictures with time stamps. They took pictures before we drove off and now they say they no longer have the pictures and that they did look at the video but they said there was nothing on there clear enough to show if there was damage or not. They screwed us for over $1,000 and told us they don't have to prove to us that the damage to the bumper was there before we rented the vehicle and if we don't pay for it they would put us in collections.So either we can let them rob us or spend a lot more than $1000 to take them to court. read more

First of all, Yelp removed this review because they said I reviewed the wrong location. This is the correct location regarding my experience so I am reposting the review. My husband got hit on the side and his car was totaled since June 4th. It took triple a whole week to get him a rental car. We go to the Enterprise on Clovis and Shields because that is where they first told him to go. We went and they said they called and left a message that the car was on Shaw and Willow. Shaw and Willow location is what my review is about. My husband checks his phone and no message was left. They asked if his number was so and so and it was not his number. My husband goes to Enterprise on Shaw and Willow and Othelio or Ofelio pulls up the reservation triple a has for him and tells him even with the reservation, he was still going to have to pay $200 to rent the car. He's taken aback because when it comes to insurance, we've only had to put down a $50 deposit which we have yet to get back from when All State gave us a rental. He gets dropped off back home, calls Triple A and triple a calls enterprise. Alas, Enterprise has the reservation and all we have to do is put down a $50 deposit. I drove my husband back, spoke with the manager about the inconvenience of going back and forth for something that was not our fault and she apologized for our experience. Seth takes care of us and we finally get a rental. It should not have taken an hour and a half for us to get a rental that was supposed to be billed through triple a. This should have taken only 20 minutes like it has before. I usually love Enterprise because it is our go to place for car rentals, but it has disappointed me today. read more

They wanted to give me any car and dirty because they said it was going rain so why don't take it like that. Just about the WORST rental car experience I have ever had. Ever. First they charged me well over the going weekly rate because I reserved it first as a single day rental and I would have to return it and pick it back up to get the weekly rate. Are you serious?? Next even though I called ahead to inform them of the vehicle return and calculate my refund they still screwed up the return and shorted me by about $70 on the return. Earlier in the day when I called to inquire why my rate was so high a gentleman by the name of Damian wanted to get into a yelling match with me. Juvenile. Unprofessional. Good customer service. Pretty squared-away group of folks working here. I'm not real keen on the pressure to buy their insurance, but understandable given they are in business to make a profit. Tiny problem: The paperwork indicated the fuel was at 1/4 tank. I signed the paperwork without verifying. I get in the car and the fuel was at a 1/16th...almost empty. So I felt like I was getting ripped off on the fuel. I returned it at 1/8th full. They were cool enough to not sweat it. But next time I'm going to verify the paperwork against the actual readings. They picked me up from my auto repair place and EVEN dropped me off promptly even as I was returning the car. I seem to get extra service when I rent and I love it! Outstanding service from this location and on a holiday weekend no less, right after Budget rent a car totally ripped me off and left me $600.00 short! From the time that I called to the time I left their office with a brand new mini-cooper (which I will never drive again by the way!) it was LESS THAN AN HOUR! The car was super clean, had gas in it, and was ready to go! I wish I could remember the helpful guy's name (younger guy with glasses) THEY SHOULD WEAR NAME TAGS! I have used this Enterprise numerous times. EXCELLENT service! Today, they took the time to exchange my rental to one that was more comfortable. I have a knee injury that prevents me from bending my knee fully. I was experiencing pain climbing in and out of my original rental. Who gets cars that each door has to be individually locked and unlocked? I reserved an economy car but got a compact. No explanation as to why the downgrade. The windows looked like somebody tried to lick them clean. The car also had no power when taking off with the air conditioner on. The worst car rental company, do not use them. I went to rent a car and they said their system couldn't verify that I lived at the address on my drivers license. I assured them that was where I lived and received mail and that their system was wrong. The manager came over and still needed a credit card from me and I was only an added driver and not the renter. I went to Hertz and rented a car with no problem. Nice staff and clean place to pickup a car. It is a busy location it appears. Plan for your vehicle not to be ready when picking up and add 15 minutes. Airports are much smoother places to get a car. My average is not so good when renting a car from places other than the airports. If you don't mind waiting, then this is a good place. read more

Service at this Enterprise location is good; lots of friendly, professional people to help you out. A decent selection of cars, perhaps not up to par with larger locations but they will "upgrade" you to a larger vehicle if you reserve a smaller car and they don't have the size you reserved (hint: get online or use a phone app to reserve). My only major gripe is the small parking lot and short "runway" out onto Shaw avenue. You have to pay attention to avoid damaging your rental. Perhaps a new location could facilitate business a bit. read more

I had one of the worst experiences with this Enterprise than I have with any other company ever. I have never written a review in my life but after how I have been treated by this company I had to. I made a reservation online that was confirmed just to be called hours later that no cars would be available for my confirmed reservation. That was at 5pm, I didn't end up with a car until the next day at 1pm! Also the website wouldn't let me redeem the Enterprise plus points I had,showed the manager at the branch proof and he "couldn't " do anything... bullshit. The car I received wasn't clean by any means with less then 1/4 tank of gas. After all this I called the store manager, district managers And corporate to tell them what happened all of which said it wasn't their fault and couldn't do anything for me to help ease my suffering and keep me as a customer. This is the WORST enterprise (shaw in clovis behind Carla jr) I have EVER been to and my lAST time ever coming here smh I been renting her well enterprise for years only reason why I came to this location was because they were open on Sunday when I needed to drop the car off after being there for hours after they where trying to find every reason not to rent to me idk why there last thing was for me to rent it's there policy that I HAVE to have there insurance I told them it's okay I have mines on file already she said no I have to have mines and there's WHICH IS A LIE BECAUSE I RENT ALL THE TIME I just rented one yesterday and they had my insurance on file and didn't tell me I had to still have there insurance they of course explained my risk but still was able to rent we went back and forth on it I even call another enterprise and spoke to supervisor just to ask and they confirmed I don't have to purchase there insurance of course they need there car covered but if I have insurance that covers it with full coverage WHY did I have to purchase there's also oh and by the way I left there and went to another enterprise and was able to rent a car WITHOUT THERE INSURANCE ‍ read more
