This location in Collierville always disappoints. You can bet on it. They make Walmart or McDonald shine in comparison. The service is atrocious, the manager and staff may have been trained by goblins and customers appear to be a bother. Second time in a year have dealt with them. This time after making and confirming a reservation, they were out of cars on the day of pick up. They were very unapologetic and almost proud of meeting their goal of disappointing. Stay away from them. Drive the extra mile or 20 and take your business elsewhere. They should close shop. Just awful. read more

30 minutes prior to my arrival, they called to let me know they didn't have the truck I reserved. My work plans and schedule were pushed back a day, with no notice. I was offered the option to pick up a truck the following afternoon, which was not very helpful. 30 minutes later when I called back to reserve the truck I was told the earliest availability would be two days later. To top it off, rude and disrespectful employees. Definitely letting our corporate company travel section know about this and have them remove Enterprise from our account. The guys at the counter have why appears to be no clue what they are doing. I was told to sit after checking in and the car would magically appear I guess. This is an absolute S-show. My experience with enterprise started in Collierville( 2 years back) Usually I do reserve online before 7-10 days. They call one day before to confirm the reservation and to check my confirmation. And here comes on the pick up time they say they don't have cars available, this happened to me six out of 9 times in past two years. Out of six, twice I ended up with Avis and the rest of the times ended up getting upgrade car or downgrade car. I like their service. Very friendly staff. I'll continue to be their customer. You know since covid, I've noticed that customer service and employee quality is at an all time low. Went to Enterprise this morning after receiving confirmation of my reservation to pick up a rental car. Get to the location on the confirmation only to find out that they do not have a car for me. Friendly, helpful, and willing to do whatever is needed, these people were great during this difficult time in which I had to deal with my car accident. I actually took the shuttle from Abra to get here. They were willing to take me home (they took an older lady home) until they got some cars in that I could pick from, but luckily they had a car come in right as I got there. So I ended up with an Altima for a while until my baby gets out of the shop. I do want to note that they have a $16ish per day optional insurance you can get which will help you in regards to accidents. For example, if you get into an accident and it's not your fault, you will still have to pay your deductible to Enterprise. Your insurance can get it back from the other insurance but it will take a while and I still thought it was odd. But I have never rented a car before so I just thought I'd mention it. Tested positive for Covid mid-reservation.l so I didn't know how to return the car. Enterprise totally took care of me. I called customer service, explained my situation, and within two hours the car was towed straight out of my driveway at no charge. I spoke to two people in customer service and they were both completely sympathetic and helpful. read more

Wife rented a car for only one day from the Collierville loBrought it back within a few minutes because of a faulty sensor. They claimed it wasn't a safety issue and asked if she wanted a different car. She didn't know what to do, but agreed to keep it since it was such a short rental and didn't want to restart the rental process. They said they would put a note on her account. She returned the car 24 hr later and they noted there was no damage. More then a month later, we received a letter stating they're claiming she caused the issue. Nothing bothers me more than someone trying to take advantage of my wife. There are honest companies out there - we'll go elsewhere next time. Update: Travis contacted me from the Collierville location. After I explained the situation, they agreed to dismiss the claim. Still not I impressed with the customer service from their Damage Recovery Unit, but I do appreciate the branch's efforts to right their mistake. read more

I wish I could say better about this location. Unfortunately Once again I was disappointed on my last trip to Nashville. I pick this location because it is close to home. Now I am going back to the competition. The last rental I got the same excuse "so sorry we want you satisfied and gave their business card with a free upgrade on my next rental with them." Why would you rent a car that needed an oil change and said you can reset it. Or the fact I said I was leaving my car while I had the rental then when I return a letter threatening to impound my vehicle. I did not park in front of their signs reserved for rental cars but at the last parking spot away from the businesses with no signs. Forgot about customer service. Rented a Dodge minivan to take the wife, dog, six bags and a dog kennel from Memphis up to Chicago O'Hare. Whole process couldn't have been easier. Used a corporate rate and paid less than $200 for 2 days plus the drop off. Pickup was fast. Drop off was even easier and the bus driver at Chicago O'Hare went out of his way to help us with all our junk. Great experience. read more

Wife was in a car accident. Insurance directed us here. They did not have a size car that our insurance would cover and casually suggested a larger vehicle but without explaining there would be upgrade fees. Then, when contacted, the assistant manager told me there was nothing that could be done and proceeded to lecture me on finances, telling me I should never agree to payment if I don't understand it. Between the poor service and condescending attitude, we'll be using Hertz from now on, regardless of insurance. read more

I travel a lot for my job mostly by air so I am usually picking up rental cars from the airport. I had to go visit a customer 5 hours away so I decided to rent a car locally and drive. This Enterprise is maybe 4 miles from my house. They called me the day before and asked me to come at 11 AM instead of 12 because they had to many pick ups at the 12 pm hour. When I got there they had no cars for my rate. Finally, the guy decided to upgrade me to a Cadillac sedan. I got really annoyed by all the upselling. I bet I told him 5 times no and he was trying to confuse me about what I needed for car coverage. I firmly told him NO nothing optional just the straight forward rate I was quoted. I got in the car and it was obvious it hadn't been cleaned yet and someone had been smoking in it. I'm pretty allergic to cigarette smoke so I went inside and told them I could not drive that car. At this point the assistant manager got involved. She upgraded me to a Cadillac SUV which was fine but again neither car seemed very clean. I don't know who is cleaning them in between rentals but they aren't doing a very good job. I appreciate her for swiftly rectifying the situation though and I added a third star for that otherwise this would have been a two star rating. Long story short...next time I'll make the drive to our airport to pick up a local rental car. They are always spotlessly clean and they don't harass you on upsell items. read more

The staff are top notch, very helpful and easy to work with. The Dodge minivan was not the usual rental. A wind noise kept me from going over 60 mph on the way back from Fl. and one key fob quit working. The brakes shimmied sometimes also and it was not clean. I realize this is peak time for rentals so not a big problem. This is the first time I had any problem at all ever and I have been renting several times a year for 4-5 years. Reserved a mid-sized Avalon or equivalent. When I went to pick up car it was not available. They offered me a Cadillac at a higher rate. I told them no I wanted the mid sized Avalon at the price I was quoted. The only thing they could do was put me in a small hatchback (Chevy Captiva) and claim it was an SUV. It was significantly smaller than any mid sized car I have ever seen. Also, for the long haul trip I had to make it was extremely uncomfortable. There was no key fob (and only one key) so the key had to be used to open the locks and hatchback. There is only one key hole on the drivers door so opening the hatchback involved more than it should. While the car had been vacuumed there were stains on the seats, sticky residue from something spilled on the console and steering column, and crumbs and debris in the console and around the instrument panel. Staff was nice enough but next time I will have to confirm verbally that they have the car I reserved. read more

Service is always friendly, accommodating, and prompt. The vehicles are not typically very clean. I rent vehicles frequently for business trips, and it's rare to have a vehicle that doesn't have garbage left in it from the prior rental. I typically do not complain or bring the vehicle back, however, the last rental had partially eaten food left in it, and the passenger dash (around the glove box) had mud or dirt all over it and I was concerned that my passengers would get their clothes dirty. I took it back and the staff was very apologetic and had it re-cleaned quickly. They got the food out but missed the mud. Rather than be held up any longer, I just took it home and wiped it down myself really quick (which is typically what I do when the vehicles are still dirty). Bottom line, I give the service in the office 4 stars for always being friendly and willing to accommodate; but I give them 2 stars for cleanliness, because it's rare that I dont have to clean something out of their vehicles.
