When the vehicle I rented ended up having a bad tire, I'll admit I was pretty animated about the situation. Austin, however, remained completely calm and professional. He didn't hesitate--he jumped right in, arranged the repair, and made sure my trip stayed on track. His leadership and problem‑solving skills were obvious from the moment he stepped in. Used this location because it was close to our repair shop after an accident. I was told they would bring me the rental car at the repair shop and selected a 3rd row SUV as my car. When the time came to meet at the shop no one showed up. When someone did show up from this location they were 40 minutes late and informed me I would have to ride back to their location and they could not leave me the vehicle like planned. Also the car they had for me was not a 3rd row SUV. It was a Mitsubishi about the size of my lawn mower. At the end of the repair I received a call saying I would own $50 after much back and forth we finally agreed I would owe nothing because the car was being returned that day. A WEEK later they call back saying I owe $50. Terrible customer service, attitude and attention to detail. read more

I am displeased with the service at this enterprise. My first ever time using enterprise and I can proudly say NEVER AGAIN! Specifically, Ben, an employee here displayed unprofessional and rude behavior toward me. Every time I called they made me feel that I was always an inconvenience when they are the ones putting me into defective vehicles! It's an inconvenience for me just to drive out there and swap out!! Furthermore, I was given a Nissan Versa, despite reserving a full-size car, I had already previously switched vehicles twice due to mechanical issues and cleanliness. Additionally they acted super hesitant to switch me out of a vehicle that was clearly unsafe and unsanitary to drive! I had about 3 people tell me that they couldn't believe they would let me leave in a vehicle with that many problems. The 1st car was a charger Hemi which was an absolute beauty but had a clunking front end, an engine tic, didn't drive straight, and a nail in the passenger side front tire, I would've been fine with that car if it didn't have so many issues. You could clearly see that vehicle was wrecked and someone tried doing a cover up job but failed. 2nd being a jeep renegade that also clunked in the front end, vehicle shook at any speed, smelt like marijuana so bad, and finally what really set me off was seeing a German cockroach crawl across the window. By then they pretty much told me they can't do anything for me and that I need to go to the airport and switch out or just to deal with the car. I ventured out to a couple of enterprises that got ahold of my branch and now they are willing to switch me out. Now I'm on my 3rd being a Nissan versa that I do not feel safe in nor comfortable in because of the size being so small. The reservation was for a full size not a compact. If I wanted a compact I would've obviously chose a compact over a full size but didn't. There is no reason I should be in a vehicle that small! The staff specifically Ben tried to shift the blame onto me, saying the reasoning I couldn't switch cars any further is because I was already switched out 3 times due to their poor inspections! even though the first two vehicles prior to the Nissan are defective. I'm hoping to hear from the area manager about this conflict because this is completely unacceptable. read more

Got a loaner from here while my car was at Ricart. It was free, so I can't speak to their prices. Service was very good. Friendly and fast, at pickup and dropoff. Explained everything I needed to know. Tried to upsell me on gas and insurance, but that's normal for rentals. Their gas price was actually decent, if you want to go that way. The car they gave me was bigger than mine (it was all they had) so I cruised in luxury for a couple of days. Hope I'm not taking my car in very often, but if I need a loaner again I will be happy with it- and I'll check them out next time I actually need to rent one. read more

it would great if you are flying into Rickenbacker Airport after hours and needed a car for them to figure out a way to make it happen, but nope had to wait until the next day to get one, but I did get a ride back the airport!! Great people and service!! read more

HELP! And that is just what the staff did at the Groveport OH Enterprise Rent-a-Car office. I didn't realize that flying into Rickenback airport near Columbus Ohio, would be so problematic--as in there are no rental cars at the airport. BUT, the valet at the hotel where we were going to stay gave me the number of this Enterprise office and they provided excellent service. Shuttle pick up; and when we arrived at the office, the staff was VERY helpful, friendly, and we were on our way with a great car that was reasonably priced. Definitely the worst customer service ever. They do not explain things very well. Had to run back and fourth to get the correct things they needed and still had a hard time renting at this location. Not a very friendly staff and not very informative. They pretty much expect you to know everything, even if you're a first time renter. I picked up a rental a day before thanksgiving. No one told me this rental had a certain kind of technology on the vehicle which if you lock the keys in the truck you have no way of getting into the truck only with the laser key technology that takes 2-3 days to make. I drove the rental car that day to my parents apartment and ran into my parents place and took literally nothing in. No wallet no purse no coat nothing. Well I ended up locking the keys in the truck which I realize was my fault. I call Enterprise and explain the situation they tell me I have to get the car towed because of this technology that there is no way to gain access to the truck. I didn't get the insurance because I had full coverage insurance so I figured I would be okay. They don't tell you their coverage takes care of this type of situation. They rush you along and your unaware. On a normal car you can get into the car and pop the truck with the truck button or through the back seats. Not this vehicle. I called a lock smith and explained the situation I told them I need my things out of the truck if you can't get this unlocked I can't pay you. Lock smith came out and sure enough couldn't get the truck open. I spent about 5 hours on the phone with various people at Enterprise. At this point I just needed my things out of the car. I had no wallet, coat, clothes nothing but my cellular device. Enterprise finally told me they would pay to have a key made I had to uber to a dealership and pick the key up. So I go to this Toyota dealership and they tell me " oh they told you the wrong information" that type of key takes 2-3 days to make we don't have a key for you. This was about a 30 minute drive from my location. A waste of time. Still no resolution. I finally call and talk to a manager at the office before I was talking to a younger gentleman. The manager was so unprofessional she told me it's my fault I locked the keys in the truck and they couldn't do anything. I was irate I had no problem paying for a locksmith to get into the car but I had never dealt with this type of car how is it my fault you don't have a spare key or way to gain access to my personal belongings. I finally talked to a guy his name was Chris he was very professional and did a good job based off the circumstances. It took 2 1/2 days so get the key made and get into the vehicle to my items. I didn't drive the car for two full days. Missed Thanksgiving with my family in Cincinnati and work meetings that day. I will say they did bring the car to me with my items in the car to switch to a different car. Chris directly bought me a new car. When I returned the car I explained I didn't drive the car for two days because of what happened and the rude manager I had talked to on the phone. I could tell by her voice it was her told me that wouldn't pay for that since they towed the car to the dealership on their expense. My point to this story is always make sure you know what type of car you are being given. Always be aware. Also Enterprise is a billion dollar family company and it was the holidays. I was out of state and they couldn't compensate me for the two days of emotional damage and stress blows my mind. I travel a lot and always used them. I will never use them again or recommend to anyone. They are not willing to work things out only if it benefits them. read more

Run from this company. I, unfortunately, had to have a rental vehicle from Enterprise because my car was in for a warranty repair. My business with Enterprise has been one of the worst customer service experiences in my life. Damage occurred to the radiator on the rental vehicle at some point. I will not go into details here because it is a long and sad tale. I was told by two separate people that I would be contacted during the 2-week investigation. Not only was I not contacted but the investigation took longer than two weeks. When I finally got the investigation was complete call I called back and never received a reply. I reached out four times (2 times by phone and two by email) to get details and was not able to get a response. I finally did connect with someone, and they refused to answer my questions. I wanted to see the expert opinion that says the car would not be able to run with the damage. They keep saying the "expert" said this but will not provide me with the statement so how would I know? I have also asked why I wasn't contacted and why it took longer than two weeks for the investigation. They refuse to answer these simple questions. They lie to you and are a dishonest company. If you enjoy terrible customer service, this is the company for you. Treating people this way is wrong. read more

The staff was horrendously insincere and although this is the last time I will use their services, the previous car I rented was dirty, covered in grime, and I found a cockroach in the back seat. I didn't want to give them even 1 star. I rented a car from Enterprise car rental, Groveport, Ohio. I was told by assistant manager Mikel Berry on June 22 that I could return the car directly to the Richenbacher airport on July 4 since the car rental was closed and we were flying out on July 4. I parked the car exactly where Enterprise directed and also where an airport security police said to park. I took photos and a video of the car that I left where I was told to park and turned the keys in to the allegiant employee (as directed). I was told I would get a call first thing on July 5 to close out my rental. I called on July 5 @10:25 am and Mikel said the car wasn't back. I called again @1:50 pm & was told the same. At 6:32 pm I was called by Enterprise and was told the car was damaged. At the time the lady (Anna I believe said a dent above taillight). I called back on July 6 and was told the bumper and hood were damaged. I then called customer service and was told someone would call. Customer service called on Friday and I was told the car had been sent to be repaired. I told them I had video and photos showing no damage. Basically they said tough. The car was damaged. How do I not know the driver from airport to office didn't damage car since I did not damage the car. Also they won't send me photos of the damage. Also, my original rental agreement (email copy only) says rental is $109 less than what they have charged my credit card. I will never use Enterprise because they don't listen or care about customers just $. How can you be blamed for damages when you follow the rules and have proof you didn't damage the car. read more

Great weekend special for $30 from Friday to Monday and I was able to leave the rental car at the airport! Very convenient.

(My 3rd try to post this review!) The folks at this facility go out of their way to be helpful and get you the best deal for the car you need. They give excellent customer service. We have used this facility of Enterprise a number of years and have always been impressed. All in all, given all the fees and extras, Enterprise has always had the best deals. Quick warning though, they are not open on Sunday. read more
