I have rented vehicles from this location on several occasions, but I have never left a Yelp review, so here goes. Upon entering the lathe office, I waited in line for all of six minutes while an Enterprise employee, Lirna Iribe, worked as quickly as she could. When it was her turn, Lirna was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming. She asked me a few questions, and I was done with the entire process within four minutes. Lirna was AMAZING and provided EXCELLENT customer service. Next came a four-minute wait until another employee, Daniel, walked me to the SUV I rented for a family road trip. Daniel was very friendly, happy, super polite, and professional. Daniel provided GREAT customer service and answered every question I had regarding the vehicle I was about to use for the next eight days. I reserved the vehicle through Costco, which was a Very easy process. Tip: I used my credit card to make my reservation and will use the same card to pay for my rental when I return the vehicle. By using this card, the credit card company provides rental car insurance benefits, thus saving me $33.00 per day. Back to Enterprise. Very disappointed with my experience. I reserved an Elite vehicle in advance through the Glendora location specifically to avoid any last-minute issues. I was later told my reservation would be moved to the Covina location, which was inconvenient but manageable. Covina experience The real problem was that when I arrived, the Elite vehicle I had reserved was not available. What made the situation worse was the way it was handled. Instead of offering solutions or showing any concern for the inconvenience, I felt dismissed and treated rudely. It seemed like no one cared that I had planned ahead and reserved a specific vehicle for a reason. I understand that inventory issues can happen, but customer service and communication matter. A simple phone call, apology, or effort to accommodate the reservation would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I hope management takes a closer look at how customers are treated when problems arise. I left with no car and I really needed a car today. read more

I was told by an employee that the la puente one is closer and I would have a rental by 1pm no worries. Good thing I called and double checked before driving or ubering over there. La puente said no reservation was made. they saw that I spoke with someone but poof nothing was made and they couldn't help me till Monday. thats 2 days no car. BUT they could schedule me for the WC branch to have a reservation Sunday at 11 am if I wanted. OK I can deal with that. I asked do I need to call or check in. they assured me no its fine. considering how badly they handled the first reservation I called before taking a 30 dollar Uber ride over there. no answer. Stuck on hold for no exaggerating 20 mins. No one answered there direct line. I must have called about 17 times and was on hold for AN HOUR AND A HALF WITHOUT A SINGLE PERSON TO TALK TO. WHY didn't I just go down there? because a 60 dollar uber trip back and forth sounds brutal especially for a company who basically couldn't explain why my reservation didnt appear in the first place even though I clearly have a record of talking to a person. Wish they had zero stars cuz one is more than I'd like to give this place. The employees are rude and when you ask for a manager they pretend they are the manager. There's a bald weirdo with a beard that works there, he liked to throw temper tantrums with clients because he doesn't like his job. He was being rude to me so I asked to speak to his manager, he said he was the manager. I later found out that was a lie. He said that since I asked to speak to a manager he was going to cancel my reservation. He cancelled my reservation and locked the door as he stood there with another coworker laughing at me. Bro likes to power trip on people like that's the only place to rent a car. I reached out to corporate and they didn't care. They promised they would call me back several times but never did. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned! That fact that enterprise responded to this post saying they didn't want to inconvenience me makes it even worse. I called their customer service many times and never got anywhere. Not even an apology. This was intentional. They left me and my kids there with no car just because I asked to speak to a manager. I had to rent a car here when the transmission died on my dog shit Nissan, but the booking, rental and payment process through the app was easy and seamless. This is located on a slightly busy street so keep that in mind if you're not a super strong driver and are now driving a new foreign car into the streets. I had no issues but I was just slightly spooked. Service here is decent and it is busy, but after like 2 customers I was served immediately and it didn't take me too long to leave the lot with a rented car. Unfortunately the smaller car that I wanted to rent was returned in a terrible state. The worker was nice enough to let me scope it out and warned me that someone broke the rules and smoked in the car and after checking it out, I remarked that it smelled like "Circus Circus in Las Vegas" and she laughed so I'm glad my joke landed and made sense. So in return I was upgraded to a very large orange Jeep that I loved the color for but it was so difficult driving since I'm not used to driving such a big and wide car. The particular location of Enterprise has been the one we choose when it comes to renting cars for a road trip. The perks of this location are they open for a few hours on Sunday. We came in on Sunday and it was really packed with check ins and returns. We ended up having to wait about 30-40 minutes to get a vehicle. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the SUV since it there was none available which we were made aware at check in. The attendant helping us Alex was very personable and helpful. He mentioned he was from another branch just helping due to how busy it was. He got us a full sized sedan instead and comped an entire day off our reservation since we waited for a long time. So we saved about $60+ in total. We were very happy and thankful for the customer service. The returns were very easy and quick. This branch continues to be reliable for us. ( ^_^)b read more

We reserved a van with Enterprise several days in advance for my niece's bachelorette weekend in Las Vegas. We expected the vehicle to be ready when we arrived, but when we got to the location, we were told there was no van available for us. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we were left standing there with all of our luggage, trying to figure out how we were going to get to Las Vegas. We had planned this trip ahead of time and relied on our confirmed reservation, only to be left without transportation at the last minute. The biggest disappointment was the lack of assistance. No alternative vehicle was offered, no solution was provided, and there was little effort made to help us resolve the situation. We were simply left to figure things out on our own. A reservation should mean that a vehicle will be available when promised. This experience caused unnecessary stress and put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun and memorable weekend. Last November, I rented a Black Hyundai Kona from the Covina branch and had an experience I won't forget. I walked 3.5 miles to pick up the car, and by the time I arrived, I was exhausted and out of breath. Eric Johnson, the Assistant Branch Rental Manager, immediately went above and beyond--he brought me water and paper towels and made sure I had a moment to recover comfortably. His kindness really stood out. What impressed me even more was what happened when I returned the car. Without me asking, Eric had thoughtfully left a note for his colleague to give me a ride home. That level of care and attention is rare, and it truly meant a lot. I was genuinely touched by the exceptional customer service and would highly recommend this branch to anyone looking to rent a car for the weekend. I returned our car rental earlier today. Very convenient for us to return on a Sunday, upon arriving there were several cars ahead of me. I parked the car, went inside and was greeted within a few minutes by Edward. He made return a very smooth one, reading some of these not so favorable reviews, all I can say is expect to wait, this is not a fast food joint. Fortunately for me everything went as quick as possible. The primary reason I used Enterprise was for an Insurance Claim, I had a rental for just over two weeks while our SUV was in the shop I had a minor issue with the first rental car, not the staffs fault. Upon calling to switch it for another, this location answered my call both times, they were very courteous as well. I had the switched out car within 20 minutes of arriving. Kudos to Daniel and the Staff who got me in & out in ample time that day. This location is just 2 minutes off the 10 freeway in Covina, just five minutes from the body shop which repaired our vehicle, easy access as well. In closing, we're whole again, happy to have our car back. I would definitely recommend, and use this location in the future read more

This was by far the worst experience I've had in my life. I reserved a rental for December 28-December 30th. I made my reservation in November 6 to ensure they had availability since I knew it was around the holidays. I reserved a 12 seater van, which is a very uncommon vehicle. When I got to the location, the manager told me that the van was not opening when he was using the key fob. he then proceeded to help other customers, as if it wasn't his responsibility to remedy the issue by looking for a replacement for me at another location. As a patient person who has worked in customer service before I realized it was a bit hectic in the office, so I waited for him to handle a couple of other customers after a few minutes I asked him is he going to find me another Enterprise location that has a van. He said he would call the Chino location after another 15 minutes past he said that the van they had was already reserved by someone. I asked him if there are any other locations. He said he didn't know any other other managers so he's not going to call them. I have no idea what he meant by that. Like it's the same company, what does knowing the other managers have to do with anything. He also promised me a 50% discount on a van in another enterprise location. He gave me the phone number of his Manager edward who I called 3 times and left messages but got no response. Of course I did not want to give up because I would be out thousands of dollars for the hotels and experiences that were reserved for me and my family. So I asked what else I can do. He told me to go to the airport and see if there the enterprise there would be able to help me. It was apparent then that he was attempting to give me the run around. It did not seem likely to me that they would have it but in the meantime I decided to research that locations while waiting for my family never to come back. I then called customer service to help me see if I can reserve a car so I can get it ahead of time since I now needed to drive to Ontario. In an attempt to exhaust all my resources at that location I asked the man at the counter to that else are my options. I kindly asked him if they could help me find a competitor who would be willing to rent out their van. He explained to me that they don't do that. he then suggested that I rent two vans from enterprise , which I was totally willing to do even if I had to pay more in gas. So I made the two reservations for the two 7 seater vans over the phone. What I did not know was the Enterprise has a policy where they will reserve you a vehicle regardless of whether or not the location has inventory. So the manager told me that he will not honor my reservation for the two vans that was made over the phone that I just reserved. Keep in mind I was trying not to go to a competitor because I knew enterprise as I've used them before. In the meantime, my brother who drove me to the rental car office, drove around to other rental car companies to see if they had availability. The reason this is important is because while I was waiting for my brother to come back with the car I was hanging around the enterprise trying to find alternative options. Keep in mind I had to exhaust all my options before leaving the office as they were going to close at 2pm. That's when the manager got frustrated with and said, "I don't know why you're still here, go to the airport. They have a wider selection there. There's nothing he can do. They're closing in five minutes and go to the airport. I had been there for 2 hours trying to get a backup option. I then got my car back and we drove to ontario airport to see if we can stick with enterprise because the competitors that did have the van was going to be twice as expensive. I was trying not to go over budget on this trip. After arriving in Ontario airport, the manager there told me there's nothing she can do and she would not honor any 50% discount promise to me by a manager even if they did have inventory. In the end, I ended up going to that competitor spending about twice as much to rent a car that I needed. Long story short, I will never rent from Enterprise ever again. I would gladly spend more money on the competitors selection due to enterprise having no inventory, cars that won't operate in the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. It's clear that they have no plans to remedy the situation or find an alternative option for when something happens to one of their vehicles. I made sure the competitors knew this and they would gladly take my business. I'm sorry if I thought that a company is supposed to make it right when their cars don't operate. read more

If mismanagement were an Olympic sport, this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location would be standing on the podium, waving to the crowd. Not having enough employees is not an "oops," it's a failure. It's Labor Day weekend--the Super Bowl of car rentals--and they had one single human being working the front desk. One. On a Saturday. Are you running a rental agency or a lemonade stand that got out of hand? We arrived at 11:00 AM for a car we had reserved (remember those?), and immediately knew we had made a terrible life choice when we walked in and saw 15-20 people standing around, all with the same thousand-yard stare of regret. The line wasn't moving. Time itself wasn't moving. We didn't get a car until almost 12:30 PM, and when we finally did, it wasn't even the category we reserved. Apparently, "reservation" here just means a suggestion, like speed limits or serving sizes. And let's make it worse--because it does get worse. They didn't just have staffing issues. They had NO CARS. Yes, a car rental business with no cars. People were literally waiting for vehicles to be returned so they could drive off. Cars weren't "not ready." They didn't exist. A bold business model. Sure, the woman at the front desk was polite--but that's like being handed a mint after a root canal performed with a hammer. Politeness doesn't cancel incompetence. One employee trying to hold together a collapsing system isn't customer service--it's damage control theater. Do not rent from here. Actually, don't rent from any Enterprise if you value your time, sanity, or blood pressure. This place has disorganization down to a science. They make DMV wait times feel like Disneyland's FastPass lane. This location is horrible. Save yourself the aggravation. Walk. Take a bus. Rent a scooter. Borrow a shopping cart. Lirna went above and beyond to make sure I got the car that fit my family's needs and also had it ready fast. She made sure the car was safe (no recalls) as well. I started a new job this year where renting cars is going to be a regular occurrence, and this location used to be my go-to. My first few visits were awesome - the gals always working were kind, attentive, and hustling. Unfortunately, things have shifted with the recent staff changes, and it's been a complete 180. This time I was assisted by a younger guy who seemed charismatic at first but quickly came off as passive-aggressive and condescending. He masks his attitude with a smile and little digs in his remarks, it's unprofessional and uncomfortable. Do better when trusting someone to represent your business. I booked a reservation sine May 15 2026 for this Memorial Day weekend for pick up on Sunday May 24 at 9AM and drop off during after hours on May 25 at 8pm. When I was attempting to check in, the site indicates that the location is closed and a check in cannot be made. I contacted corporate who informed me that they are seeing on their end that they are open, however, they later confirmed they are closed after all and "escalated to the regional manager" who never called me back. I contacted the branch directly to speak to a representative as they are allegedly open today May 23 until 2pm. I waited on hold for 6 minutes before they ended the call. I called again to "check in" instead and was on hold for 20 minutes "waiting for a representative of this branch to answer and assist you with your check in." I am extremely upset and filing through the BBB because if they were going to be closed or unable to fulfill the request, why was I not contacted in advance? MINIMALLY on Friday May 22 to inform me that it would not be possible or that they were closed for the weekend. Honestly, I used to love enterprise, but I think this was poorly handled on their part as I tried to exhaust all options and now I likely won't be able to do anything anymore given that all other agencies in my area who do car rentals are fully sold out. When I arrived, the van wasn't available, but Edwin was incredibly helpful and professional. Instead of just saying no, he upgraded me to a bigger, premium full-size SUV that fit all our luggage -- and still honored the same booking rate! This truly reflects the excellent staff training and commitment to customer service at Enterprise. It's experiences like this that make me want to come back again and again. I honestly had such a fantastic experience especially since the one I dealt with in El Monte was a nightmare. I was able to call beforehand and ask what they had available. I called another location nearby and they refused to tell me what they had available. Not only did he tell me what was available he really hooked me up with an upgrade! At that time, the facility did not have an eight seater available because we did not confirm our rental. Kelsie went out of her way to let us know that our patronage mattered and that she was happy and willing to help us find a vehicle that seated eight for our family needs. That day, this facility was very busy and there was constant movement of folks in and out. Kelsie provided great service, despite being pulled in various directions. I don't see that happening much anymore in the customer service industry... it was a breath of fresh air. Enterprise it's nothing like it used to be rent in this location it's been a nightmare, there's always an issue. A black lady jump in to say someone was gonna get fired when she didn't even know what where talking about, we rent different vehicles often, there's this car where literally we had to fix the battery every time we wanted to start the car (if we needed to leave in a emergency the car wouldn't start) we mentioned to the staff and "oh sorry" wasn't enough, the cars they have they're in bad condition, paint in the outside peeling off, and I recently cut my self with the inside door handle. Cero flexibility from the employees they contradict them self in situations just because I don't wanna spend another hour typing. It's just BAD. read more

Enterprise has always been our go to. Now, however, we are reconsidering. Unfortunately, at this branch, we encountered possibly the worst customer service from one of the managers (at least she claimed to be a manager). My dad told me he felt that they took advantage of him after I left him to pickup a car. Before I left, we were told he was going to pickup a certain car and after I left, they told him that car is no longer available and gave him an electric car with bad range. He isn't familiar with electric cars. I would've stopped him from getting the car that he did because i knew it would delay him so much. And it did.. on my brother's wedding day (the next day).. I called back asking about what happened, and the person that gave that car to my dad was extremely inconsiderate. She could have just owned up to her mistake and apologized but instead acted unprofessional and hostile. It's now challenging to trust such an establishment. I don't know if she saw some vulnerabilities in my dad that made her take advantage and switch cars on him last second (e.g., him being a bit older), but whatever it was, I hope she doesn't take advantage of others in the future. read more

Had the pleasure of closing out my business with Eric today. He, and the whole team here at this branch, have been nothing but the best. I do, however, have an issue with how I was treated regarding unauthorized charges. I've never had a problem with this company over the past 10 years until these past two weeks when they started to charge an upfront weekly sale charge to my credit card. I had religiously explained that I prefer to pay with my debit card at the end so I don't use my credit card, which is what I've been doing for a long time. Unfortunately, they didn't care about losing my business and went against what was promised to me. I'm assuming the area manager has no respect, and won't even reach out to let people know. I will not continue to do business with a company that lacks communication, so I took my business elsewhere. I prefer to go with a business establishment that will respect the agreement to do things by the book. Not everyone has to pay upfront, and that's just not fair. I have a credit card on file, so this is crazy. Imagine all the struggling parents going through what I went through at the moment, having to decide whether to keep a vehicle or buy gifts for their kids because they are on a fixed income, especially anyone struggling who can't just take their business elsewhere. Just know, if you are interested in renting, they will hit your credit card with a sale charge on top of the $300 deposit hold, Making you pay upfront if you decide to renew for another week while having a credit card on file is Unheard of, but this is how this branch is doing it now. After renting online we came to pick up our car and she said I'm not renting to you I don't like your attitude. I honestly have absolutely so idea what attitude she was referring to.
