Enterprise was extremely helpful with my current rental for my stay in Dallas, flying on to Philadelphia. All companies at Love Field including Enterprise were out of cars, so I had to go off-airport to another Enterprise location to get a car but needed to return it at Love Field. They waived the fee usually charged for returning to a different location. They said I would get my $300 deposit returned within 24 hrs. It had already been refunded by the time I got home from returning the car! Very different from PAYLESS who NEVER RETURNED MY DEPOSIT. I had to dispute it on my credit card to get it back. DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I used to think Enterprise was one of the best rental car places there were...until my most recent experience. When I arrived the cars were not clean - there was dog hair, there were old water bottles, etc etc. Fine, ok, I get it that people are busy. They cleaned one of the cars and I went on my way. I returned the car late one evening to the parking lot of the collision place where my own car was being repaired - I was told that was fine. They checked the car out there and said it looked good. I called in the morning to confirm that everything was fine, and Daniel, Enterprise employee, told me everything was fine. Then I start to receive notices in the mail about the damage to my vehicle. Again, I called Daniel - he said someone hit the car in the parking lot and since I was the last person to rent it, I was getting the notices. He told me to disregard. Now I have a bill sitting in front of me for the damages from Enterprise. On top of this, I was charged tolls for the day after I turned this car in. They sent me receipts that show the tolls being charged the next day. They still have not resolved this. read more

Called to make a reservation for a week at 9:24 am. Was told p.u. would be the next day @9:30 am and received confirmation email shortly before noon. Received a phone call @7:15 the next morning to tell me that they couldn't pick me up because they didn't have a car for me and didn't know when they would. The person that called said my reservation was made the night before. My phone says otherwise. My car was totaled and I needed to get around to look for replacement car to buy or rent. One of the worst customer Service experiences ever. An elderly family member was unexpectedly admitted into the hospital for emergency surgery in Houston. I live in Dallas and wanted to use a rental car to drive there as quickly as as possible. I called Enterprise Rent-a-car on Montfort Drive. I explained the situation and reserved a car. When I received the conformation, I Uber'd there. When I arrived, the guy told me "There are no cars available and I go somewhere else. I showed him my conformation and explained my situation and would take anything available. His reply - "We don't have any cars available go someplace else." I asked him if he could contact another Enterprise office to see if they had any cars available. Reply, "No, but I could give you a phone number to call (note: there were no other customers in the store). I re- explained I was desperate and needed to drive to Houston immediately and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Reply, "No, but I can give you a number to call." read more

We had a horrible experience with thrifty. After waiting in line for over a hour and a half, the first person I encountered at the kiosk was so confused! First of all, when I went to rent the car (June 24) it was suppose to be a Nissan Pathfinder and it was not available. I had to wait over 30 minutes and I was given a Ford Flex. The Ford Flex was not an option I wanted, but I went ahead and agreed because we had to start our trip. Along the way, we had an issue with the car where the top rubber became loose and was banging on the roof of the car. I called customer service and she told me that I could get a replacement in San Jose. We went to the thrifty in San Jose, but they didn't have a car that would fit 7 people and I needed a bigger car. They asked us to come later the following day, but we couldn't because we had plans and itinerary to follow. Then I got pulled over in Los Angeles, CA because the car's brake lights were not working and the officer had to ensure that I was not "drunk." We explained it was a rental. This happened several times along the route. It was very embarrassing. We had to cut our trip short as we did not want to drive in the dark. We were suppose to arrive home on the morning of July 6, then return to the car. However, we are headed home today and return before dark. This ruined our plans. We not only lost $421 for a hotel, but had to pay an additional hotel fee as we had to stop for a layover. Oh, and to top it off, had horrible experience returning the car. Overcharged. I have still not heard back from a manager. I have sent emails, I have called their customer service and have spoken to over 30-40 people and literally been on call with them for over 10-15 hours with adding all calls and wait time. I was really impressed with Enterprise because my husband absolutely needed a large SUV for a business trip where he and four others (total of 5) men had to fit in a car + luggage for a very long drive down to Houston from Dallas. This was the closest Enterprise to us and when he explained his situation the guy told him that he would call around and get back. The guy called around to find a Suburban (which is what my husband wanted) and found one that would be turned in. When we went to get it, the Suburban had not been turned in on time (which lost a star) but I was really impressed that the guy had gone out of his way to find a Tahoe and had driven it over to the location that morning so my husband stiill had a large SUV. That level of service is something you normally don't expect from an agency where people NEED them, also the guy was just really nice and polite and apologized profusely for not having the exact car my husband wanted. I was definitely impressed, so four stars were EARNED! read more

I have nothing but the best to say about the employees, Marvin and Josh, at this location. There were many hurdles in may way on the day that I showed up to pick up the rental car. Marvin was very professional and showed me a lot of grace during my renting process, while traveling for a family emergency. When I extended the rental he made it a very easy transaction. When I returned the car, he was again very profession with a personal touch. If I was local, I would rent from this location every time. Worst car rental ever. Go to Hertz!!! I tried to rent a vehicle for a single evening to get home while my car was in the shop. Not only did they refuse to pick me up, but when I arrived my credit card and drivers license were not adequate forms of identification! I was asked to produce a water bill and a cell phone bill. Um - Sorry I don't typically carry those with me - all had was 3 different bank statements and a 401K statement. I typically rent from Hertz, but chose Enterprise because I was stranded and the location was near my office. NEVER NEVER NEVER again!!! My colleagues and I travel at least 30 weeks out of the year and rent a car every week. I have told each and everyone about my experience and everyone said the same thing, "Eww Enterprise is the WORST!!! I've never had a good experience with them." I have ONE major complaint about this location! The cars are NEVER full...the gas tanks are always on half or below, and this is a major inconvenience. Especially when you are in a hurry. This is the only location that I've ever gone to and had this happen. read more

I've been having so many issues trying to find a car while mine is being repaired from an accident (time frame keeps getting longer) and when all other locations don't have an answer for me he finds out a solution he can do for me. Im not one to write a review but the people at this Enterprise have always be so kind and sweet to me. I was in need of a rental and I tried 3 other Enterprises and was told they had no cars. When I called this location Mario answered the phone and was so helpful. He found me a car and had his team pick me up. I ended up using the car longer then I expected but Mario and Tia where always so kind to me when I called and asked for an extension. I used this location for 2 months on the weekends when my car was being repaired. I remember dealing with the manager Shawn and he is as professional as they come. They always honored my reservation and if the car wasn't available I got a free upgrade (or 2). The cars weren't always in the best shape (due to smokers) however I was never stuck to take anything that wasn't satisfactory. They always picked me up when I scheduled in advance. Avoid at all costs. I've been waiting 2 days for a car. Representative told me she would call me when they had a vehicle available Tuesday. Never received a call. I checked Wednesday and she said something about tags on the vehicles being expired and that she would call me later today when a vehicle is available. Called again at 5:50 only to be told the reservation was moved to a new location (that doesn't have cars as well) and that they are not willing to come pick me up since they close at 5. This was one miserable rent-a-car experience. Some of the issues were beyond the control of Enterprise, but even those were mishandled. After being hit following the recent snow storm, my insurance company made a reservation for me at Enterprise. This was on Saturday. I called them to arrange to pick up a rental and was told they didn't have any cars available but to come by Monday morning and they would. Well, instead of just showing up on Monday morning, I called and was informed that they wouldn't have a car for me until that evening. Yup, that evening I was told it would be Tuesday morning. Tuesday morning I was told Tuesday evening. I decided that it might be best to just show up and maybe then I'd get a car. I arrived Tuesday evening and they couldn't find my reservation. Finally they told me it was at a different Enterprise (note that I'd been calling THIS Enterprise for several days and was never told the reservation was somewhere else). They did get me into a car Tuesday evening. This makes me wonder if by calling they were putting me off in favor of people who were standing there. I do understand that cars were in short supply during the storm, but no one ever called me to tell me the status - I always had to check with them. Also, I was put in a car that was more expensive than my insurance would pay - but that was all they had. The car I received had a flat tire light on. I was assured that the tires had been checked and the light was on "because it's cold". By the time I returned the car, the tire was almost flat. When I returned the car, the woman tried to tell me that I had scratched the hood, even though the contract clearly showed previous damage on the check-out sheet. Finally, I returned the car the following Wednesday to find that my bill was for 9 days - they charged me for both the check out and check in day. When I questioned it, I was told that this was their policy with my insurance company (never mind that I was paying the overage). Stay away! read more

Well, to start off I figured I would write this review in the heat of the moment, as this just occurred less than 2 hours ago. So, Enterprise has this thing called a RESERVATION online, which I use every time that I rent here . Please note, I have rented here about 10 -12 times . I even rented with them when my car was in the shop for a good month . So, needless to say, I'm extremely upset right now that they are a complete FAIL. So , I made my reservation well in advance because my car has been giving me trouble , and I wanted it to be ready for Mother's Day. I had this whole weekend planned out for us . I typically drive just an hour and half drive to get to my location, not far I know . Well , I call the office to let them know I am on the way, and they tell me that they have no cars in! So, I'm like seriously! I had a RESERVATION! They said it was due to Mother's day weekend and graduations. Well, I guess they don't anticipate that in advance . I am highly pissed off right now that I can't even go and see my own MOTHER, that's 1.5 hours away . So, her Mother's Day is pretty much ruined or at least I feel that way . The guy proceeds to tell me that he will take my number and call me back if any cars come in ,as they had a couple due in today , NO ONE EVER CALLED, which just upset me even further . I am not an angry person , but when my plans are ruined by a sloppy service , I get upset . So, I called every Enterprise in a 30 mile radius and they all tell me they have no cars . WTH! These people are not prepared at all. I have been very happy with them up until this point . So, I wait an hour and call another one, and I spoke with a young lady, I won't put her name on here , but she advised me that they had a car and to get up there as soon as possible, as they were about to close , which was at 12 pm, which is beyond inconvenient to close that early . So, i literally had to go super fast to get to this location . The whole time I'm calling her to let her know I'm coming . So , there are two locations on Midway , 2309 Midway Rd, and 15500 Midway Rd , which is very confusing . I went to the first one mentioned thinking it was the other . The latter one is actually inside a Service King Collision Shop, which how was I to know that ?? They are very close together. Initially I called her to make sure I was going to the right place , and she never mentioned it was not even a regular store , and that it was attached . After all the back and forth and getting lost! I lost a lot of minutes, which initially I told her a few minutes , because I didn't know which was which . I get there and no one is there! All in all, I'm not blaming them because I have car trouble, but you provide a lousy service when we need service . I even had someone call me yesterday to confirm that i was still coming in ..Do you see my point ? And you had no car ! So, it's safe to say that I blame ENTERPRISE for my Mother's horrible Mother's Day , since they are such a family based company! Don't bother renting here! read more

This place has been very helpful to me. My car has been in the body shop, and I was given a Charger to drive while it is being repaired. I felt uncomfortable driving the car and this was the only location that was offering to assist me in trading vehicles. After weather conditions declined, I once again felt uncomfortable and they worked with me to trade my vehicle out. Very helpful and friendly manager, Sean, was very accommodating and understanding through the whole process. I would recommend this location to anyone who is looking to rent a vehicle in the future. read more

Enterprise is terrible! DO NOT USE THEM! This is the first time that I have ever had to rent a car because I got in a car accident, so I was already feeling bad about my accident before ever renting from Enterprise. Since I was dropped off at work, I walked to the closest enterprise near my job, and they put me in a Chevy Impala. I told them that it was too big, because I drive a Nissan Versa, and that I would feel more comfortable in a smaller car. Instead of caring about my concern and helping me locate a smaller car that they could drive over from another location, they said ''Well this is all we have, you can try again tomorrow for a smaller car.'' Every day for the next week, I either sat in the lobby or called asking for a car exchange to get a smaller car, and every day I was told ''We ran out or sorry try again tomorrow.'' One week passes and $130 dollars in gas later, I sat in the lobby and said ''I am not leaving this lobby until I get a smaller car! I feel completely uncomfortable in the Impala, it is way to big for me because I drive a Nissan Versa, and it is really, really expensive to fill up the gas tank!'' I finally got their attention and the woman at the front desk said, ''Ok, we can find something for you, how about a Nissan Altima? That will be more comfortable to you because you're used to Nissans, and it's better on gas.'' I felt soooo much better driving the Altima, then a friend pointed out to me that the stickers were expired and I could get a ticket from that. I went back to Enterprise the same day to get the stickers and they looked through stacks and stacks of registration stickers they haven't put on soooo many other cars. Frustrated, and ready to go home, the lady looking told me, ''Don't worry, just drive, just tell the cop it's a rental, you'll only get a ticket if the cop is being a jerk!'' I then said, ''What if I end up getting a cop like that.'' Her and another guy who was ready to go home then said they would give me another car. The gave me another Altima, and I asked why there was a light on and was then told just to put air in the tires. I went camping woke up in the morning and both tires on the left side of the car were completely flat. I was stranded. I called Enterprise's Road Side Assistance and told them what happened... 4 hours later, they did a double tow, brought me another car, and it was a Chevy Impala. I was so upset because I was back to the car that made me feel uncomfortable, but I thought it was better to feel uncomfortable than to be stranded again. After retuning the Impaka, when my car was ready, Matt, from Enterprise, called me to ask about my experience, I told him it was horrible and repeated my story about 4 rentals in less than 4 weeks. He then tried to make me feel better by offering me a free double upgrade and a free tank of gas on my next rental, asked if I was happy with that, I said no, but he didn't seem to care. I called back the next day and said ''Why would I need those things when those would cost me even more money that I would have to spend on Enterprise! What I want is a refund on the taxes I paid for since the insurance didn't cover it! '' He said my file was closed and couldn't open it back up but would call me back after talking to his boss! He still hasn't called, and I'm still frustrated! This was an awful experience! DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE if you want a good rental experience! read more
