So this was my first experience ever having to rent a vehicle. I was supposed to have an enterprise driver drop my rental vehicle off to me at a caliber collision location down the street from them on the day I dropped my wrecked vehicle off. When I arrived on to caliber collision there wasn't a worker from enterprise there or a vehicle ready from them. Now my insurance assured me that someone from this enterprise location would drop the vehicle off ahead of time for me. I then had to call the location manager which she argued with me that they do not do that for customers and you are required to pick the vehicle up directly from them. So I had to wait for one of there drivers to come pick me up and bring me to that location. What I'm very irritated on is that my insurance told this location the time and day I was going to be picking the rental up so I figured hey the car should be cleaned and ready for me to pick up. I was wrong again and had to wait 20 minutes for them to have ass wash the car and vacuum it. On top of that the young guy that works in the front has a poor attitude and doesn't seem to care for his job. I told this same guy when I did my walk around on the vehicle that I wouldn't be able to see any scratches or damage due to the vehicle not being dried off from the wash as well as it was parked all the way in the back. Well I was forced to do a quick walk around on the car before I could get the keys and wasn't able to notice that there was a small rear end taillight lens that had what appeared to be stress cracks on it. So I called the location on the same day picked the vehicle up around 4:50ish several times and nobody would ever answer the phone. I was finally able to get a hold of the locations manager the next day. After speaking with her on the phone it seemed like she understood what I went through when I picked up the car and that she was going to put me responsible for the damage. But after dropping the vehicle off to get into a bigger vehicle the next day, when I arrived there to talk with her i guess that changed for her because she wrote it up and said I was responsible for the damage. After I get done dealing with that I didn't have really and bad things to say other than the final day I had the rental car and went to drop it off. It was before 5:00 and i wanted to drop the rental off and get a ride over to Caliber collision from enterprise. The guy that I had issues with from the beginning said that everyone left around 4:30 and that he was the only guy there and that he couldn't drive me over there. Now this locations hours are specifically from 8:00 -5:30 which I made clear to the location manger. There was no reason or excuse why someone wasn't at work able to me down the road to the caliber collision location. I hope that somebody that is in control of this location sees this review and can make the needed changes. Someone needs to be answering the phone while someone else is helping customers. Those people need to have great attitudes as well. Also the guys cleaning the vehicles need training on how to properly was a car because there was smudge marks and road film still every where on the vehicles. read more

He went above and beyond to make sure we had a big enough Vehicle and by the next morning after our accident.. GE Fleet made a reservation for me at this location. I showed up and they didn't have any vehicles. Granted, the reservation was made 30 mins prior, but I don't understand how a reservation can be made if they don't have cars. This location is SEVERELY understaffed. They won't answer the phone if people are in line. I can appreciate that when I'm in line but people in line were LIVID because they had to come in and rent a vehicle in person because they wouldn't answer the phone. The phone was ringing off the wall when I was there. The poor guy behind the counter was absolutely getting abused by customers. Unfortunately, this is an Enterprise problem not of his doing. Since I wasn't able to get a car with a reservation, I asked them to move my reservation to the League City location. I'll write a review for that location when the transaction there is complete. Dickinson Texas, Enterprise rent a car is the place to go if needing a rental on the South Side of Houston. While renting a car a few days ago, I had the pleasure in meeting Steven Trevino and the rest of the on hand crew. Mr. Trevino was the upmost respectful, professional and knowledgeable man. Mr. Trevino made my experience so much better with a great vehicle and excellent customer service. Mr. Trevino is a great asset to Enterprise corporation. Having employees of this magnitude is outstanding. I highly recommend this location. The entire staff is outstanding. I really appreciate the amazing staff at this location. I picked up my rental yesterday, August 20th and I am extremely disappointed. The vehicle has a giant hole on the driver side carpet. It smells terrible, seats are stained. The trunk is covered with hair. And not to mention the vehicle registration sticker is expired. I did not notice how disgustingly dirty it was when I picked it up because I just drove straight home and parked it. I did mention the hole and the Enterprise employee apologized about it. But it was today I went grocery shopping and noticed the expired registration sticker and when I opened the trunk to put my groceries up and saw the filth of the trunk. I tried to exchange it today at the Hobby airport location because the Dickinson location is closed on Sunday. The Hobby airport location said they could not exchange it because it was rented at the Dickinson, Texas location and their rentals are under a different system. I understand the shortage of vehicles but there is no excuse for not maintaining the vehicles. read more

Made a reservation through my insurance for a rental on Saturday following a car accident. Fast forward to Monday (the first business day the store was open.) Sarah (the employee) was easily able to find the reservation via last name, but immediately told me that they had nothing available, and that pickup was "by appointment only." She proceeded to give me the number that enterprise should have called (there were no calls missed or from enterprise) and i told her myself that I had tried to get in contact with customer service multiple times over the weekend. The answer was that I could make an appointment, but the earliest availability would not be until "the afternoon." Sarah then vanished inside, telling me to call around. Cue standing outside an enterprise office with me making phone calls to every other branch nearby trying to find anything available with no luck. Even after going back to the "wait here for assistance " sign, nobody approached or tried to even offer assistance until an entirely different customer got in line behind me. Rented a vehicle last week, neighbor wrecked my truck ‍‍,the enterprise employee "Marat" told me not to worry about the small dents below 6-8" as we did inspection. Having rented vehicles 10 times or more and never had an issue I didn't worry and considering the amount of dents it had and the age/condition of the vehicle I didn't think much of it. It Had over 43500 miles, very smokey inside. When I returned he tried to accuse me of hail damage!?! We haven't had any hail in Dickinson this past week and my house is very near their location. Then he said must be nuts from a tree. We don't have trees in or near our driveway or our front yard period and the vehicle was garage kept anyway. There were 3-4 pin size dents in roof that he pointed out. Then I asked what about the 6-8" he talked about during inspection. He said didn't matter. Then tried to get me to pay him cash for the damage outside. I declined and filed a report with their corporate office. Unfortunately not before he charged my credit card for almost $600, which I will dispute with my CC anyway. Just want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. SCAM SCAM SCAM! read more

We had to come get a rental due to all of the tires being stolen off our truck. Crappy situation, but great customer service from Jaz. She was sweet and funny which kept our mind off of the real reason we were there. Not to mention they said at first there wouldn't be anything available until 3 which was really pushing it because we both have jobs to do, but then we ended up getting a vehicle at 1! Perfect timing. The only reason I'm putting a 4 star is because we got stuck with a suburban and ended up having to pay out of pocket because ins company wouldn't cover it. I decided to try Enterprise, after my horrible experience at Hertz. A gentleman named Rex helped me. Not only was he courteous, he also showed a genuine interest and empathy for my needs. The contract was for a one day rental. They charged me for 2 days when car was returned within 24 hours. Attempted to call customer service. Customer service said Bill would be corrected. I Checked receipt week later - it wasn't corrected. Called customer service again - they did not agree they had agreed to correct Bill. They told me I had to call local office. Asked to speak to manager. They put me on hold for over an hour. I hung up. Next day tried to call local office where I dropped off car and was told I had to call office where I picked up car at Hobby airport. Dickinson where I called was the office that was not telling truth about when car was dropped off. Called or attempted to call Hobby and was told they don't answer calls until after 5 o'clock in the afternoon - calls are routed 5 to customer service general line. Attempted to call at 5 o'clock next day and discovered they don't answer phone. Called back the customer service and reiterated all these problems with manager. Manager told me there is nothing she could do - she had to route the issue to a regional manager. She Would not give me phone number for regional managers office. I do have a name and ID of person I talked to. Enterprise in Texas and generally has very serious problems. read more

The customer service at the Dickinson location has deteriorated greatly over the past few months. The service is mediocre and the staff is not truthful. First incident, I reserved a car specifically requiring cruise control. This is a standing requirement on my customer profile, which I have had for more than 20 years. When I arrived, there were no vehicles available with cruise control. The Assistant Manager, Mitch, stated profiles are only "considerations" and he was not required to accommodate considerations. After I told him I would cancel the reservation, he stated he would pick up another car and meet me back at the location at 1230 to exchange vehicles. I waited 45 minutes, called customer service and was leaving when Mitch finally showed up 45 minutes late, without the car. He stated if I "still want the car", I would have to follow him "right down the road" to a dealership, which was actually 10 miles down the road, to pick up a dirty, unwashed and uncleaned vehicle. This delay forced me to push back another appointment, as I was now over an hour late. When I returned the vehicle, six hours early, I had to wait until another Assistant Manager washed and cleaned the car I just returned prior to getting a ride back to my house. Again, over 45 minutes from the time I arrived until I left. I told him , the car washer, he should have taken me home before cleaning the car. He stated he had been directed to clean the car first, as someone else wanted to rent it. When I asked what the location would have done if I had not been early, he stated "I don't know". The second incident, again with Mitch, took place two days ago, when I returned another vehicle. Because there was no washer fluid in the car, I had to pull to the side of the road and clean the windshield with a bottle of water and a napkin in order to see. I told this to Mitch, again, when I returned the vehicle. He apologized, as he always does, and stated he would remove the 3 hour charge from the bill before it was charged to my credit card. I received an email statement showing the charge had not been removed. I called the location the next day, was kept on hold for almost 30 minutes, and was told it would be taken care of and a new receipt would be sent. I did not receive it and it was billed to my credit card for the full amount. I called today only to have to explain the situation again, to the same person, and was told, again, it would be taken off the bill and I would receive an updated invoice. I was told the reason it was not done the previous day, as I was told, was because Mitch had to approve the return and he had not been to work for the past two days. I have been an Enterprise customer for many years and have never experienced such slip shod and unprofessional service. The previous staff, Rex and Jazmine, would have never treated a long standing customer with such obvious disregard, as if THEY were doing me a favor for renting from Enterprise. Shame on the Regional Manager for allowing this type of unprofessional behavior to continue. If your staff is weak, train them. If your staff lies, fire them. After reading recent reviews from other sites and other long term customers, I find I am not alone in my opinion of this location. read more

This is the slowest enterprise I have ever been to. I have been waiting for over a hour and a haft. There were only three people in front of me. I don't understand why it is taking so long!!! Update they ran out of cars tryed to give me one with a huge crack in the windshield right across the drivers side. Then they drove me to Texas city to pick up the car. read more

The manager here does a great job! It took a while to get my car, but it was due to my car dealer's lousy arrangement with Enterprise that cause my delay. The manager was really slammed, but still kept her professional attitude and very pleasant personality to all guests during my visit. Now that I've finally made it home, no thanks to Enterprise, I'm able to sit and give full details of my horrible experience. We were coming in straight off a cruise and made reservations for a car at 7 a.m. We took a Lyft ride to their location. Once there, we were told they couldn't find our reservations, and the system should not have allowed us to make reservations because they were only accepting insurance claim clients. The Branch Manager, Mitch initially seemed like he wanted to be off assistance, however, the arrogant, power stricken Area Manager Trent Rogers, intercepted any of his attempts. Since they couldn't find our reservation, we looked into our email, which for some reason had switched the pick up location to Hobby Airport in Houston. Thankfully, I asked that they call the location first, because they were just about to drop us off there with no guarantee we would be assisted. They too advised that they weren't suppose to be accepting reservations, and cancelled our reservation, unbeknownst to us. So here we are, stranded in Dickinson, Tx, just trying to get home to Dallas, TX. Mitch and Trent went into a room, closed the door, and I assumed that meant not their problem. By now I'm completely blown away about how terribly the situation was being handled. Since I was clearly getting nowhere with Enterprise, I found and booked a car with another rental agency just down the road from Enterprise. I asked if they could drive us down to it since their system, as well as them had failed to assist us. Trent stated they could not. He stated they couldn't take us to another company but they could take us home. I advised that'd be even better because our home is in Dallas. He then stated that they couldn't take us home, although he had just stated that. I clarified the situation. We booked a car, received confirmation for the reservation, their location and another location weren't accommodating the reservation and cancelled it altogether, yet you're unable to take us down the street to pick up a car (and your company is the only rental company that advertises picking up and dropping off customers). To add salt to the wound, when I called the customer service line to Express my frustrations, the first rep was absolutely rude, and the Sasha character above her was a joke also. She laughed at the matter and they both advised the only escalation would be to the area manager, which is the jerk off, Trent Rogers. I've never used Enterprise before, and I can assure you I'll never consider using them again. read more

My son had a car accident and totaled his car. He was a wreck as was his car. Enterprise brought him the vehicle and was great to deal with. My son chose ALL coverage and didn't realize the cost was 36.00 per day for just the coverage - he thought that included the rental (his 1st time in accident and with rental). I talked to Alex - the branch manager - about the charges and he was great to deal with!!! He went half with me and was no issue at all.
