Over the last 4-5 years I've had my old car in for repair 5 times. I have in every way been happy with renting from Enterprise on Evergreen Way in Everett. I get fast service, a clean vehicle that runs great with low miles, very good service and I have never even made a reservation. I just walk in and within 30 minutes I am on my way. And when I came back, they even gave me a free ride to the repair shop to pick up my old car! I really like that and I don't pay compliments lightly. Rented a car over the enterprise 800 number and showed up @ Everett location about 15 minutes later Only to be informed there were no cars available. The kid @ the counter claimed my phone didn't work. He called it on speaker, received v/m and said "see, doesn't work". I called a competitor company from the Enterprise location, left a message and received a call back right away. My phone worked fine and the manager came over to pick me up. She was the first person since the entire accident to show me genuine care. We had a horrible experience with Rodland Toyota down the street, and this Enterprise location came to the rescue. Made a reservation at Rodland a week before, and they somehow rented the vehicle to someone else the night before our pickup. Rodland called Enterprise and got us a vehicle. Problem was the vehicle did not exist (I blame this on Rodland). The person at Enterprise did a superb job. Promised they would look for a vehicle for us, and then spent most of the day (literally) doing so. Finally found a suitable vehicle near the end of the day. They literally saved our trip to visit a deathly ill family member in a nearby state. THANK YOU ENTERPRISE!!!! read more

Horrible experience! Was charged for my rental upon pickup WITHOUT knowing and when I wasn't supposed to be because I booked my rental through Affirm (third party payment plan system) and Affirm pays the rental up front and I pay Affirm back through smaller monthly payments. I use Affirm or Klarna all the time for large purchases so I don't have to pay it all up front and can make small monthly payments instead. Well I did this exact same thing for this rental, and I assumed when I was picking it up it was paid for through Affirm like EVERY other rental car place, hotel, AirBnB, or plane ticket I have purchased this way! Have NEVER had an issue before doing this. Well Enterprise messed my entire reservation up and I didn't realize it until I was across the State the next day and I saw my bank was charged $536 by Enterprise. I know there is a $200 deposit until I return my car but that should have been all that was charged since I used Affirm to reserve this rental. My Affirm account shows my rental for Enterprise and my list of monthly payments, but then Enterprise also charged me the entire rental anyways when I picked it up even though they were NOT supposed to! So I was charged by Enterprise and I still had my monthly payments set up for Affirm so I was essentially paying twice! I called them immediately and the lady on the phone was very rude and had absolutely no idea what I was talking about when I tried to explain to them that this was booked through Affirm and I'm paying them, and that they should have charged the Affirm account for this rental NOT my card I gave them for the deposit. She insisted that she had no idea what Affirm even was, that Enterprise doesn't do "third party payments" and told me that I booked my rental through their website WHICH IS ALSO NOT TRUE! I booked through Affirm, not their website, and when I gave them my booking number I received when I booked it didn't even match the booking number they had for me on their computer. So they have absolutely NO IDEA what they're doing over here. They don't even realize that THEY DO offer payment plans for their rentals through third party companies even though the lady on the phone kept telling me they only did up front payments and never payment plans. So that's wrong! I had to go back and forth with Affirm to prove to them that I paid for the rental up front and show receipts and bank statements so they would cancel my payment plan I set up through them. In the end Affirm did confirm Enterprise didn't charge my Affirm account like they were supposed to and charged my debit card upon pickup instead, so they cancelled my payment plan. It was a completely unnecessary hassle! My entire reservation was messed up, didn't have the right booking numbers, didn't charge my Affirm account and charged my debit card instead, and the lady had absolutely no idea what was going on, was rude as hell over the phone and absolutely no help! This was my first time using Enterprise, I usually book through Avis or Budget rentals, which I also use Affirm and have never had issues like this. I WILL NEVER use Enterprise again, ever! I will stick to using Avis and Budget where they actually know what the hell they're doing over there and know how to handle their third party bookings and don't charge me when they're not supposed to! read more

Of course, the staff was super great upon pick up. It was on drop off that my nightmare started. They ripped my whole deposit and charged me a whole other day even though I was literally hospitalized and was maybe an hour late for drop off. I called and let them know I'd like a refund for the extra day as I was sick in the hospital and it's not what we agreed on and the vehicle was barely let or over the time, even though I was literally still in the hospital I made sure my family got the vehicle back to them, including them driving 2 hours to make it happen. And I was assured I'd get a refund and the office would reach out to me. Nobody ever did and the charges were finalized. Do not rent here. I have rented from the Marysville enterprise for months on end and have always had a great experience, this completely just ruined it for me. read more

We flew up from Texas to attend a funeral. We have rented cars from Enterprise for decades for both business and personal uses. We tried renting a car, but because we had out of state driver's licenses, we had to prove we had return flights, where we lived and HAD to use a credit card, despite having enough cash and money in the bank. Our debit card was considered unsuitable despite having all the assurances of protection. I am opposed to using credit cards as they are unwise to being financially independent. I was given a rental while my car was in the body shop next door. To save $ the shop next door pays for the cheaper economy cars. However, Enterprise did not have any cleaned and ready to rent and it would have taken some time for them to get one ready. Instead, they upgraded me to a brand new Nissan Rogue they just had delivered - literally brand new, only 42 miles on it. The closing on my house created a nightmare when it came to confirming a rental truck, I was lucky and fortunate to call Enterprise Rent A Truck in Everett and dealt with Jonathan, he came through for me, I got the truck I needed at a very reasonable price. HORRIBLE! First off, $230 for 4 days of a rental car is absolutely insane, that is literally a monthly car payment. I have rented cars before for 6 days and paid $80 total with insurance (book through COSTCO people) and it definitely wasn't a car with Enterprise. I only went here because they have an agreement with a collision company that was working on my car. The first car Enterprise gave me, I could not put gas into the tank. The tank was broken and it would not allow any gas to enter in the tank. I exchanged it for another car that finally worked but good lord check your vehicles before you rent them out. I've had trouble with Enterprise before because they start your rental with .68 gallons of gas, why not just fill it up to start with! I will absolutely never use Enterprise Rent a Car again and I hope you do not either. It is not worth the trouble when there are so many other rental car places to go to. read more

The employees were prompt and friendly, I could tell they were working hard when it seemed understaffed. My biggest problem was that if you want to pay with a debit card, you have to show proof of your residence with a utility bill. Who brings that stuff on vacation??? It was a giant pain just to get the payment sorted out. There was no information that said I would need those documents, and at other Enterprise places I did not need to provide them. Last afternoon my wife and i got into our Volvo and smelled something burning. We called AAA and were towed to Everett Auto Clinic. Learning that the car would not be fixed until the next day, and living 70 miles away, we called Enterprise North. They picked us up, and given our circumstances, waived the drop off, and gave us a great deal. The assistant manager, Chavo Camargo and another employee went way out of their way to make this happen. We called five days in advance of needing a rental car. I requested a Yukon or a Tahoe. And was told no problem. When we dropped off out car at the body shop the rental car was there waiting. It was not what we ordered and at that point I should have rented from someone else. We ended up with some sort of a mid sized SUV. It was covered with glue on the outside and smelled like burnt plastic on the inside. I'm 70 years old and disabled. Getting in and out of this thing was a real joy. I called about 3 days into the rental and was told that was the only SUV they had. Savannah Butcher was very easy to deal with but she could only do so much, Enterprise was the problem not her. read more

The only reason they get one star is because the website doesn't go lower .I've only ever had one good experience the only reason I've had to use them is b/c my car is in the shop.the last car I had was a Nissan versa it came with no second key and the trunk outer handle was removed.also it had no gas and there was still garbage under the seats. Now I have there Kia forte which idles rough gets 20.4 miles to gallon combined feels like the tire is gonna come off and it sounds like a pane of glass is loose when I called to complain the response was sorry we have no other cars no upgrade nothing just no sorry your SOL . read more

I needed a rental car to visit my mother, who just had a stroke. To get there, chains or AWD are legally required. On Enterprise's website, no cars were advertised as having AWD. So I called the 800#, and told the agent what I specifically needed. She stated "All of our standard sized vehicles have AWD". Skeptic, I repeated my needs so we were clear. Again, I was assured. Later, still doubtful, I called the pickup branch to be sure. They stated my car was not AWD, nor did they have one in stock, as well as zero locations near them. I explained my situation. He completely blamed the 800# people, and offered no solutions. I told him this was unacceptable, the entire reason I called was to rent an AWD, and to please call around and fix this. He agreed, and stated he would call me back. He never did call me, and for all I know, he did nothing at all to rectify the situation. Enterprise staff offered us nothing, had no chains my rental, or any, vehicle, and basically just repeated "I'm sorry to hear that", whilst alternating blame on the 800#. I called the escalation dept of said 800#, and they at least offered me the idea of exchanging the vehicle during some point of our trip, before the chains/AWD were needed. Although, it's on me to find and arrange to fix their error, of course. I'm beyond dissatisfied. While I'm at it, the last vehicle I rented from them, a couple weeks ago, had a badly damaged interior panel that wouldn't stay connected to the dash, hanging there, looking like junk, while my speedometer reading flashed 59 and dinged periodically for my entire road trip. Almost as annoying as Enterprise customer service. They didn't exemplify any part of their mission statement that I listened to ad nauseum while on hold. They do not care about keeping their end of the deal, or you or your family's safety or legalities at all. Please, go somewhere else and save yourself the trouble. read more

Finally get done after 15 min on phone with my insurance to verify crap and then they tell me they don't have a standard vehicle like I reserved. Then actually ask me if I would like an upgrade to a mini van. Really a mini van is a upgrade. Ridiculous. Below is the negative review I posted on Yelp about Hertz, the original company I was supposed to use per the insurance company of the motorist who hit my car necessitating the need for a rental car while my car was being fixed. The review shows how Enterprise saved the day when Hertz refused to follow through on their commitment. Having an accident is traumatic and no matter how good the insurance companies are (and they usually aren't) you still have to deal with a lot of hassle and inconvenience to get your vehicle repaired. It's not like State Farm is going to come to your house, pick up your vehicle, get it fixed and hand it back to you when it's repaired. Any accident is going to be an imposition on your time. Having a company like Hertz make it worse is incredibly frustrating but having a company like Enterprise save the day is so appreciated. _ This is one of those times when I'm annoyed that Yelp insists on giving at least one star to businesses that you rate. These guys are the worst. We've rented there twice at the insistence of the insurance companies of other drivers who have been responsible for accidents we've been involved in. The first time was mildly annoying when they would not make any effort at all to work with my wife's schedule to pick up the car. The second time was the last time we'll even try. I tried to call multiple times the day before I needed the car to confirm the rental that was prearranged by the insurance company and they would not answer or return the calls when I left messages. I ultimately had to go through their main, non-location specific 800# to set it up. Because of our needs I had negotiated a larger vehicle through the insurance company so I made sure to mention that to the rep I arranged the rental with. She advised me that I was all set but to make sure to touch bases with the local office at least one hour before the pickup to confirm. It took me several calls to get a hold of them again. Does no one answer the phone at this place? How can you stay in business if it takes 10 tries to get someone to pick up? When I finally got someone, they said they had no record of me. I told them that I was calling at least an hour in advance as I had been instructed and they rudely informed me that I needed to call a lot more than an hour in advance. By now I was getting pretty angry. They finally found me in the system but told me that all they had were small cars that would not accommodate my family's needs. I asked them to call their Lynnwood location which was just 15 minutes away and get one from there. They refused. I asked them if they would bring one to me to trade out since it's a 20+ mile round trip to get to their office and they refused to do that as well. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy on the phone told me that he was the acting manager. By now, I had been on the phone with them for nearly a half hour and was almost at the body shop that was repairing my vehicle. I just wanted to get off the phone so I told them to come and meet me but then decided I did not want to do business with them so I called the insurance company and asked them to set me up with Enterprise instead. I was 15 minutes from needing the car at this point but Enterprise came through and had the car I needed ready to go and available. These guys made little acknowledgement of their mistakes and would not do ANYTHING to make it right. I was not asking for anything more than the service I had ordered. Again, I didn't ask for a single concession or discount, just that they get me the car I had reserved and deliver it to me if they were unable to provide it at the scheduled time. This was a bad enough experience that I will probably report them to the Better Business Bureau. Thank goodness that Enterprise stepped up and saved the day. read more

I just got great service all the way around, from pick up across the street at Brien Ford, where my car was being fixed, to the manager, Josh, who gave me a credit for my next rental because I ended up putting too much gas in when I returned it. The one time i did have an issue with the vehicle they immediately helped me out and rectified the problem. No issues or delay. Easy swap out of the vehicle. Rented a pick-up truck for the week to move some furniture out of storage. They had a new young man working for them named Alex. He was terrific and picked me up and dropped me off with no problems.
