Later a tree fell on my mother's Lexus and she took it to Bruce at Pilchuck auto body and despite it being significant damage done it appeared that it never happened. This was a little older vehicle as well with pearl paint with some flake as well and it matched perfectly. I've been to a couple other shops with people colliding with me and wish their insurance would have let me use Pilchuck. Can't say enough good things about their quality of work and competitive pricing.

A minuscule chip at the bottom grew into a 4ft crack across the entire windshield and there was no alternative than to replace it. Mark came to my house, completed the repair on the driveway and I was thoroughly impressed. Worthy of special mention is that when I called the Audi Seattle dealership, they were the ones who recommended I call Mark - he does all of their Warranty and repair work. I hope I don't need to replace my windshield again any time soon, but if I do, there's only one person I'll call.

He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, ethical and honest, amazingly helpful, and has the utmost integrity. He has always been able to troubleshoot and repair my vehicle issues, explains repairs and pricing, keeps costs to a minimum, and never tries to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs/replacements even when I've suggested something be done in an attempt to be pro-active. He is always going out of his way to help his customers maintain their vehicles as affordably as possible, and without unnecessary expenses. He is consistent and timely about communicating, and (amazingly) has an incredibly clean, organized shop (you should have seen my dad's (o:). Because I trust Dan and his crew so much, I refer GN Northwest to all my connections in need of auto repair work. Amazingly, one of my friends I referred went to see Dan after I referred him, and was thrilled. He used to use Dan's services before GN Northwest moved to it's existing location, and hadn't known where the business moved to. I have owned a number of cars that i picked low at 100K miles, took to Mike and drove it for 250K…read more I have had all my transmissions R & R at Northstate Auto for 20 years and that includes when they were the Regional Service Standards Manager for all Lee Myles Transmission shops. I read the review and for those that are negative I can tell you this: 1. For every negative review, there have been 100 transmission R & R that are still running out there over 200K that were produced by Mike himself, with his own hands. 2. There are two sides to every story. I will tell you my story. Every single trans and clutch job I brought to Mike was and still is a success, 50K miles later. He doesn't remember this, but when he was lead Trans tech at the shop on State Ave, he put the automatic trans in my Nova and it run 100K. Right then and there I have follow him everywhere he has worked for 25 years. 8 different vehicles of all types from an F250 1996 that I run for 350K miles, to a 1991 Geo Metro 5 speed that NO ONE could figure out their ass from a hole in the ground. Mike made this car run 175K miles and the tran and clutch are like new. NO ONE could get the right clutch in that car. A month ago I brought it in for a value and lifter job. Now it runs like brand new motor. My oil gold. I have no exhaust and spark are light brown. NUTS! Do not listen to the 1 off negatives on this site. I have had projects that failed to, but it had more to do with the way that I went about it, then it did the mechanic. I will never take my cars any where else.
