Will never rent from here ever again planned a rental out almost 2 months a month before I call to confirm type of car and took 45 mins to get answered and placed on hold 3 times. They told me they don't always get the type of car I asked for but would call me back and should be able to before my pick up date and time I was like ok and they said would call before to let me know. So I get a call today and guess what they had no idea and they don't have any car in this class at all now and then on top of all of it I had to ask at end of call about all this but yet she wanted to confirm a order for a car they couldn't even give me that make no sense what so ever. Told me to call airport and see if they can accommodate but that mean since it's this week I need it I loose the discount for booking 2 months in advanced and offered upgrade but I would have to pay more like wtf it's your problem so why should I pay more for something that I didn't cause. OK, the son's car didn't get completed as anticipated, so just after returning one Enterprise rental in Manchester, we find ourselves in Fenton to pick up the not-finished car and needing another rental. The bodyshop ante'ed up to pay for this rental . . . which they did BEFORE they knew I'd already returned the first rental. Nice touch. So, we're trying to figure out how to get the rental to the bodyshop, and the guy's on the phone ordering the rental to be delivered!! Before too long up drove Rebecca with an Enterprise rental. She came into the bodyshop with the appropriate paperwork, and I was off on my way in a 2012 Dodge minivan. Upon return today, instructions were leave the car at the bodyshop. We'll pick it up! Worst rental car experience I've ever had. They failed to provide a vehicle in the class that I reserved several days in advance, their customer service was terrible, they threatened to issue a claim for a few extremely small dings yet neglected to provide any supporting documentation, then eventually dropped the claim altogether after I repeatedly requested information on the claim to provide to my insurance company. I no longer plan to use Enterprise as my rental car company and will absolutely never return to the Fenton location. read more

If I could give this place a negative star rating, I would. I made an online reservation, they called me to confirm, and I told them my niece was renting the vehicle, and I would be an extra driver. They said we would change the reservation into her name when we arrived and she needed a major credit card. They also said I would have to pay $10 extra per day to be an extra driver. We had cash to pay for the rentals extra driver, and purchase insurance from Enterprise. When we showed up to pick up the vehicle, suddenly to be an extra driver I also had to have a major credit card. They refused to rent us the vehicle because I did not have one. My niece's card on file was not good enough. They said all extra drivers had to have their own. Well, they didn't tell me that. Here is what they cost me.....by failing to be upfront, they guaranteed I did not have time to make other arrangements anywhere else. I was driving to Great Lakes, IL to attend my son's graduation from Navy bootcamp. Because my son was in bootcamp, I could not even let him know we weren't going to be there. My son will graduate and then start looking for his family who won't be there. There literally is no excuse for this. I requested 2 different times to speak to a manager. Both times they refused. When I demanded to speak to the person who called me and failed to mention this, I was told that was someone from their corporate office and they had no idea who it was. No accountability. Zero. And a sailor who is going to be devastated when his family is not there for him. These are the absolute worst kind of people. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I called on a Wednesday and rented a pickup truck for pick up on Friday so my parents could bring some furniture from Fenton to the Chicago area. I received a confirmation email and follow up phone call the next day, however when my parents arrived there was no pickup truck available. My parents produced a copy of the email confirmation but they claimed because I hadn't answered the confirmation phone call they hadn't reserved the car. This isn't about customer service or an extra fee. This is the company's inability to do their basic job. A reservation was made and they didn't fill it. Ultimately my parents left and were unable to get the pickup truck. Very disappointing. read more

This small local branch went above and beyond to make the best of a bad situation. They tried their best to get a car in for me early (because I didn't realize Indianapolis was in the Eastern time zone and had therefore miscalculated arrival time), but the one that was expected early came back damaged and then the car I was originally supposed to receive was returned late. However, the manager Kevin and his colleague were both very helpful and constantly checking for updates on vehicle status. They were also excellent with post-ride follow up, personally calling to make sure that I was satisfied with the car and that the final charges were in line with what was promised. Do not rent from this location as the manger is a moron that submitted a claim on scratched bumper on a car that had 30000 miles on just because I did not get down on my hands and knees like him before getting the car . Now they are now trying to charge my credit card or insurance company . Stay as far away as possible as 95 % of all rentals have these scratches and if they decide to charge U now u too can fight a ridiculous charge . The funny part is that he could of cared less when I told him the sensor kept going off every 5 minutes on the airbag system and that the windshield wiper fluid was empty . My car is subject to the infamous GM ignition recall, so while it sits at the dealer waiting for the part, the dealership had me go to Enterprise for a rental they paid for. No problem at first. The people were friendly, and assured me that the car's damage would be covered by the dealership should anything happen to it (not that I wreck cars, but this is important). I left and drove the car for a week or two before the CEL came on. This time it was a different story. When I called to ask what to do, I could barely hear the guy on the other end, so I couldn't figure out what the plan was. That's not their fault, and I did figure out that I was I drop off the car after work (I get off at 5, they close at 6) and we'd go from there. When I got there after work, I was served by someone I can only very politely describe as a douchebag. His whole attitude was condescending and self-righteous. We went out to my car and he pointed out the scratches on it, scratches that were there when I got it, and I had the proof in the photos on my phone, which I took when I got the car (I don't trust anyone, sorry). This seemed irrelevant and he just said it'd be in the contract if the scratches were there before. Number one, I have photographic proof that they were, and number two, didn't they tell me before, when I got the car, that the dealership would cover the damage? Why are you pointing it out to me then? Is this some kind of guilt-tripping for imaginary damage I didn't do? Then he went back inside. He never said, "Follow me", or "I'll see you inside", whatever. He just told me to finish getting my stuff out of the car. I did what I could (he had the keys, so I couldn't get my stuff out of the trunk) and waited in the rainy weather. And waited. Eventually he calls me from the building and asks if I still want the replacement car while suppressing giggles. Yes, I do, you just left me out here. Don't know why that's so hilarious. Then while we go over the replacement car, he mentions to me that the car I returned had a quarter-tank of gas. I asked what my options were; he told me either fill it up RIGHT NOW or pay to have it filled by them for a higher price when my other car comes back. Oh, and they close in ten minutes (so, you know....hurry up). I felt trapped because I'm broke right now, and had about fifteen dollars in my bank account, total. I was totally upset about what to do (the fifty dollars he'd guessed they'd charge me when I brought the car back is something I just can't afford), so I ended up calling a friend for a quick money transfer while he made no attempt to hide his impatience. I ended up driving up to the gas station in the old car, filling it up, and rushing back just in time to get the new car before they closed, since his whole demeanor seriously made me think they'd close the store and not let me have my replacement car if I came back at 6:01. I can't help but feel that his attitude stemmed from seeing me as some dumb chick. I've been treated like that before, and I can recognize the act. I give two stars instead of one because the other guy there seemed very nice - I wish he had waited on me. He seemed like he regretted me having to be helped by this jerk. read more

Car was ready, full tank, super clean interior and exterior, ready to go. We walked around the vehicle and noticed a hubcap was missing. Not a dent or scratch on the car. Once I got in the car and drove away, I did notice that the low tire warning light was on, so I put 5lbs of air in all 4 four tires. Not a big deal. I've rented from this location multiple times and the staff is always friendly, courteous and prompt. Vehicle maintenance could be just a tad better (but in reality couldn't all car rental companies!), I've always been able to get in and out on the road within just a few minutes. I was picked up from the auto garage where my car was being repaired and the agent was very nice and helpful. The staff at the office was very friendly and got me my rental and completed paper done within a timely matter. My only complaint is when I had to call in the Monday that I was suppose to return the vehicle to get an extension and Drew the Manager was as rude as ever. He was like this last time I rented, which was over a year ago. He really needs to find another line of work. Customer service is your number one priority. If I call to get any kind of service from the Fenton location and he answers I will hang up and call back to get someone else. Otherwise my experience here was really good. read more

The guy I dealt with was very pushy, trying to get me to sign up for their extra insurance coverage, after I had already told him I was not interested. I have rented from this location and never had any issues. What really upset me at the time was that I had just gotten done telling him that I was going out of state for a family funeral. I was clearly not in the mood to mess with his pushy sales tactics and he should have realized that. Even under normal circumstances, I do not want the representative to try to pressure me into getting something that I clearly stated that I did not want or need. read more
