A recall on my car and the dealership being out of loaner vehicles landed me in a rental car for a couple of days. I didn't even know this location existed, but the dealership shuttled us here to hook us up with a vehicle. They called me on the way to confirm and verify some information. Upon arrival, I was greeted and helped immediately. A $100 refundable deposit was required of me for incidentals, plus a $2.03/day vehicle license and recovery fee. Once the paperwork had all been handled, I sat down to wait for a vehicle as there were a couple people ahead of me. I didn't know it at the time, but since the dealership was footing the bill, I had to stay in the same overall make of the dealership, so when they walked me out to a Chrysler Pacifica van, I wasn't exactly excited, lol! No offense, but I'm an SUV girl and I like sitting up higher off the ground LOL! I was however, VERY thankful to have a vehicle, so we made do for the 3 days I had the rental. When I received word my car was ready for pickup at the dealership, I was delighted to find out I could return the rental to the dealership and they'd take care of the rest. We phoned this business at 3:25 in the afternoon, told them our car was broken down and we needed a rental. We gave the agent the address of the repair shop we were at, and told him we needed somebody to come to us. He said that somebody would be there at 4:00, but due to a language barrier, could not ascertain whether they would be picking us up or bringing a car. At 4:15, we called again to find out where the driver was. We encountered a much worse language barrier, but managed to understand that the agent would look into our reservation and call us back. At 4:30, we made a third call. This agent spoke good English. She verified our reservation, apologized for the inconvenience, and said that the driver was running late and would pick us up next. Then she changed her mind. They don't pick up people outside of a five mile radius. (The shop was 5.2 miles from their business. I checked.) She apologized for the inconvenience, and said that the first agent should have checked before booking the reservation. We were trying to figure out how that error was our problem, and questioned her about it. She put us on hold to "check into it." Then she came back, apologized again for the inconvenience, and repeated that we were outside of their pickup area. They made a reservation (they were sending us texts about it), but refused to honor it. The conversation deteriorated into a back and forth of, "What are we supposed to do?" on our end, with, "I understand, I'm sorry for the inconvenience," on her end. Then the story changed yet again. The driver was going home at 5:30, so it was too late for him to come get us. She suggested that we drive to her. Well, if we had a car, we would not need to drive to her, would we? We finally hung up on her and tried desperately to find another car rental, but it was almost 5:00, so we were too late. The moral of the story? This Enterprise dealer threw us under the bus and stranded us - and a sidewalk covered with our belongings - in a car repair shop after committing to picking us up. read more

Don't even bother with this place, I previously had to get a rental from here after a car accident and the customer service was terrible. Now I recently came to try and rent a car and they turned me away for not having an appointment. What's going on with businesses turning away customers, it used to be that places like these welcomed walk ins and were actually happy to help potential customers. Enterprise will always be my favorite car rental company, just not this location. I reserved a premium luxury SUV online a few weeks before and when I went to pick it up it wasn't available. Whats the point of making a reservation then? The only cars they had available was an Equinox and a RAV4. I opted for the RAV4 because I've never driven one before. That car was filthy on the outside, ok on the inside. The guy who had me sign the paperwork said it was washed already :/ mhhhmm ok. I had no time to wait for another wash so I took it like that, dried bird poop and streaky windshield and all. Only reason I went to this location is because its closer to me than Rancho Cucamonga location. If you want the car you actually reserved its better to go to the Rancho Cucamonga location because they seem to have a better selection of cars on hand. On the plus side they still have pick-up/drop off service but only Mon-Fri and not within one hour of opening or closing and only within a 5 or 10 mile radius (i forgot if the guy said 5 or 10). read more

After a not so stellar check in waiting period- the customer service rep who assisted me with finally getting my car taken care of was Wendy! She was quick with the protection plans, showed me how to use the car, and quickly got me out of there. I returned my car today and once again I got Wendy! Wasted my time, I accidentally brought the wrong credit card but had my debit card. They claimed they couldn't take my debit card even though online it states they can. I went to enterprise in Montclair and without any problems they got me a car using my debit card and told me they have never heard of an enterprise, that wasn't the airport, not accepting a visa debit card. They said they would take my mother in laws card because she lived in fontana but not mine? Lol make it make since. I live in California there should have been no issue. I just dealt with the most rudest condescending person. I was helping my sister find a car rental place and since im local this was my go to and closest around. We walked in and whoever was attending me Latino, glasses, tattoos was just rude and so unprofessional. I've rented in my past and never had dealt with such an unwelcoming experience. Look for other rental car places. This place doesn't know how to deal with insurance companies and will never update you on any extra charges. They will tell you one thing when closing the contract then charge extra without notifications to your credit card on file. Vehicles are not maintained properly and at the time had to exchange 3 times because they each had different issues. This place needs to be closed. read more

Theres so many negative things to say about this place. First of all, the rental that i got smelled horrible(musty/smokey). I had to purchase spray to cover up the horrible smell. Second of all, the girl i spoke to gave me all false information and added rental insurance of $32/day without my consent! I didn't want the insurance, i have my own insurance that covers the rental. Im currently trying to dispute this charge because i was charged 2 transactions, one for $106 and another for $132. I was told i would be charged $100 deposit, which would be returned after i returned the vehicle, and they only gave me $66 back. so in total enterprise charged me $172, just for rental insurance that i didn't agree to and was lied to from one of the employees there. I called Enterprise off of Sierra Ave, and Stephanie(who claimed to be the manager) was very rude and not helpful all all. I was told that i signed for insurance, and when i told her that the girl explained and gave me false information, she refused to help me out. BE CAREFUL with what they tell you because they will put charges that you didnt ask for. The employees lie about what you are actually receiving and making you sign something with FALSE information. DO NOT rent from them. It's cheaper to go elsewhere. I will continue to dispute this because enterprise is VERY wrong for doing this. read more

DO NOT waste your time or money. Made a reservation for a vehicle and called to confirm I was able to be a driver due to a stolen license. Enterprise reservations, this physical location and a call to the DMV all verified I was able to drive without my physical card. Reservations and the location confirmed I needed another form of ID and a photocopy of my CDL. Day of the reservation and the clerk comes out and says we can't. My bf advised he too talked with someone from the location who told us otherwise. The clerk claimed the number was possibly from corporate even though the number shows Fontana and the exact address ( thank you technology & Apple). He then proceeded to claim we needed interim CDL paper, NOT to have on file but just see. Then he says he can't use my card to pay for the purchase even though we use the same account. Do not!
