She was so helpful that I ended up making Another reservation for this same location 2 days later, based on my earlier experience. Today I showed up, vehicle was available (still being freshly detailed) and the staff here was all friendly and eager to help. Ethan walked me through the booking and got me on my way. This is an updated review. After posting a negative review Enterprise customer service reached out for more information. After providing details on my experience Victor, the employee who was most helpful during our original rental, was able to provide the documentation we needed for our rental. Enterprise needs employees more like Victor. I still feel strongly that Enterprise needs to improve their vehicle documentation policy & procedure as the documentation provided to me was a work around due to Enterprise system limitations. read more

We recently rented a car and saw no obvious damage. The next day after driving the car home then returning it the salesperson pointed out what she said was-dent by the running board. The next thing we knew we got a bill for over $3000 with pictures attached that we were never shown. In the meantime we got a call asking that our deductible was... this is an obvious scam. I would avoid renting from here. I made a 930 reservation. It took them 30 minutes to pick me up from the repair place. When I arrived they said it would be a 45 minute wait since the car still needed an oil change and to be washed. What should have been a quick 15 minute thing has turned into a 2 hour mess. read more

They never have a vehicle ready for me even though I have a reservation and than they always try to give me a vehicle I don't want. The vehicle are always dirty inside ,stink and the windshield wipers are always bad and you can't hardly see when it raining. The manager at this location is very rude. So I called you Crain Hwy location and told them I wanted to rent from them and the manager told me no problem and that they had a vehicle for me. I asked to be picked up and was told they couldn't pick me up that was to far, but if it was at a body shop they could pick me up. The body shop that I have used before that Enterprise has picked me up and drop me off at os only 3/4 of a mile from my house so I don't understand why they couldn't pick me up? So lucky for me I have another vehicle. So we drove to the Enterprise Crain Hwy location only to be told there wasn't a vehicle for me to rent after I was already informed by the manager that there was one available and also I had a reservation. So we than had to drive to the Enterprise location on Ritchie Hwy that I didn't want to go to because there is a a problem here at this location and the manager is very rude. So my original reservation was for this location at Ritchie Hwy only to get there and find there wasn't a vehicle available. Me and my wife that were in a bad car accident and she has a broken wrist. Had to sit there and wait for a vehicle for over a hour. When we finally got the vehicle and drove it. The interior of the car was not cleaned very well as usual. I can see out of the back window because the in side of the back window was not cleaned nor any of the interior windows were cleaned. The interior of the car was cleaned very poorly.When it was raining Im having a very hard time seeing out the front window because the windshield wipers are bad and need to be replaced. It is totally ridiculous as a customer that I should have to deal with the incompetence of your management at both of these locations and that I have had to and continue to deal with the incompetency is the manager at your Ritchie Hwy location and the incompetence of you company period. When I arrived at this location, I was given a Nissan Altima that had 37,000 miles, an empty tank of gas, a warning light on the dashboard, and a visible worn out window seal for the windshield. I drove to the gas station that was literally next door to put gas in the tank and put air in the tires when I decided that it would be better to just bring the vehicle back so they could put air in the tires. One of the employees assisted me by placing air in all four tires but I noticed that the tire light was still on. I brought this to his attention and he advised that I place the reset button. When that didn't work, he suggested that I drive the vehicle around a little and then the light would turn off. I asked what should I do if that didn't work and he said to just exchange it at a local enterprise for another vehicle. I completed 2 errands over the course of two hours and the light never turned off which made me wonder was there something else going on. A little while later, while trying to make a right turn going at a normally speed, the vehicle slid across the street like butter on silk where I ended up crashing into a fire hydrant. I'm thankful that I didn't kill anyone or myself because this could have been fatal. Had it not been for the fire hydrant, I probably would have gone much further down into the ravine. I also noticed that the anti-lock brake system didn't activate when I pressed onto the brake. Now here I am using a cask on my knee and right wrist all because someone thought it would be a good idea to rent me an unsafe vehicle with overinflated tires which one of them by the way had little treads. Stay away from this place until some type of internal investigation is complete. read more

Yea, the people were nice but I got got on the gas. When I picked up the vehicle, it was about a half tank of gas. I mentioned it to the attendant and he said he would make sure he noted that. Fast forward, returned the vehicle with a bit more than what was there when I got it and they charged me for a whole full tank of gas! $68.47! Will never go back there again! read more

UPDATE 04.18.2020 - DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION. Tonight, I was randomly charged again, two separate times, for $148 and $128 even though I have had zero interaction (financial or otherwise) with any Enterprise location since the beginning of May 2019. I had to cancel my bank card, and I am having this investigated as fraud by my bank and insurance company. I have also referred this to a consumer attorney and suggest anyone similarly harmed by this company do the same. Disgusting. -------- I'd offer zero stars if I could. My car was totaled and I utilized Enterprise through my insurance while I figured out the settlement. From the beginning, sales representatives were extremely aggressive about seeking additional fees and, when I returned the vehicle to the night drop, called me the next morning claiming damages. They texted me photos of damage that didn't even show what vehicle they were photographing, and then charged me $250 after I disputed the damage. This does not rise to the level of appropriate evidence, aI'm seeking action against this scam, and so should you if they take you for this ride. I wasn't expecting such a great experience but that's what I got. My car was being repaired by my insurance company. Enterprise picked me up promptly from the Service King repair center and everything was ready to go. We checked out the car together with a detail walk around the vehicle. He made notations of any scratches or a dent and answered all of my questions. He confirmed I had a full tank of gas, I signed for my car, received my paper work and I was back on the road. I really appreciate it that after they picked me up when we got to the Enterprise office I was not handed off to another person he took care of me from start to finish. For a recent hire I thought AJ was already on top of his game. Can't get any better than that right...Wrong! When I return the car customer service bumped itself up out the roof. From the moment I walked in every employee I saw greeted me I was immediately taken care of by the assistant manager. After greeting me the first thing she wanted to know was how was my Enterprise experience. I told her it was OK she didn't say good and moved on she noticed my hesitation and she wanted to know exactly what it was that I didn't like. It was not someone making small talk it was the kind of inquiry that said she was going to use my answer as a learning experience for other employees. This kind of interchange shows your are being valued and it makes you a guaranteed return customer. I have experienced a lot of interaction with businesses in my 67 years and I travel a frequently but today I was truly impressed by the character of the employees at Enterprise, especially this young lady, D.C.the assistant manager at Glen Burnie Enterprise. Location big and clean, employees were friendly booked a rental in minutes my only issue was when it was time to check the car before you get it to make sure there was no dents the Hispanic dude kept trying to get me to pay the extra 25 bucks just in case of any accidents , I'm like no I have full coverage plus I don't have extra money already have to pay for this rental but other than that it was fine I had no issues I like how they pick you up and drop you off will recommend but pushy salesman was annoying read more

What happens when Enterprise doesn't pick you up? That's right I called and requested an early morning pickup. After waiting for about 30 minutes and them not showing up, I had to find an alternative way to get to Enterprise to pick up the rental from this location. Now I was a little steamed by the non-pickup so when I arrived at Enterprise I was not the best customer. However, after informing the representative of my situation instead of getting indifference or attitude I was treated with great professionalism and an given an apology. They even went so far as to give me free gas for this rental and a free double upgrade with my next rental. The car was clean and ready to go and there were no other issues. Hooray for this Enterprise location picking up the ball after a big fumble and scoring a touchdown. read more

Not good customer service, I am currently have a rental car since 2nd week of Oct with car accident reason so insurance cover 80% of total. Anyway it's been almost 3 weeks and they just call me at early morning around 8 am and told me rudely make a deposit more, it was so annoying and bother my morning and assistant Adam used my credit card transaction twice without my permission even i told him i will give you another credit card number, I need to go to work however they don't care of it they only care get paid, Anyway I was late my work more than an hour and I feel very bad of this branch, I wanted give them 0 point out of 100 but 1 star is minimum unfortunately . They were very nice at this location. They explained everything I would be charged, even offered me something to drink while i waited for my car to be cleaned. When I got to the car it was just washed and clean on the inside as well. Barely any scratches. The only thing was that right after I started the car the low tire pressure light showed up. That's something I think should have been taken care of before they gave me the car. However it's possible that it just didn't light up until I got it. And they took care of it before I took the car off the lot. Good customer service and decent prices. read more

I was having some work done on my car at a near by dealership and Enterprise was the car rental place they worked with. They called over to this branch and someone came and picked me up.. It was nice that the person who picked me up was also able to help me once we arrived and i didnt have to wait for another sales person to become available. He didnt communicate well as to anything that was happening until we got out to the car, not once did he ask me for options for car size or my needs for the car or anything.. just could i pay for it and how long would i have it.. I was then given a pretty nice (brand new) car to drive off with, they did clean off the snow and made sure the car was prepped and ready for me which i appreciated. He even walked me through a few features that the car had that my normal car may not have just so that would be comfortable while driving it.. Overall I had no issues with the car and returning it was super simple and only took a few minutes (i only had it a day) and they were even nice enough to take me back to the dealership to pick up my own car.. read more

Review for: Enterprise Location: 500 Crain Hwy N Glen Burnie, MD I am being charged by Enterprise Rental for hail damages on a vehicle that was rented out to me while my vehicle was being repaired. They claim that hail damage occurred on the car while it was under my possession. The rental vehicle was a white 4-door 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. When I picked up the car on 9/19/2013, the car was wet since it had just been washed and it was parked in a shaded parking space in front of the Enterprise building. The Enterprise employee walked around the car and said that there were no damages and I took his word for it. I didn't notice any obvious damages. When I returned the car eleven days later on 9/30/2013, the employee inspecting the vehicle told me that there were hail damages and since it wasn't reported when I rented it, then I would be held liable for the hail damages. When I returned the car, it was a bright sunny day and the car was dry. This particular Enterprise employee seemed to be new on the job and did a very thorough job of inspecting the vehicle. However, those hail damages did not occur during the 11-day period when I was using the car. I did not go anywhere where it hailed. It was the month of September and we had mild temperatures during the days I used the car. Any precipitation that occurred during the 11-day period was just rain. I would never rent from Enterprise again. Whenever you rent a car, don't take the employee's word that there are no damages, esp. if you turn down their offer for additional insurance on the rental vehicle. Who knew you had to do their job and inspect the car yourself and on top of that to look for hail damage! I think it's a scam. Their initial quote for the damages was $2350. I wrote my insurance company, GEICO, that neither they or I should have to pay for something I didn't do. Several weeks go by and then I get a call from GEICO saying that since the damages that Enterprise is claiming is now $500, they will close my claim since the amount that is being charged is equal to my deductible. If I could give this place zero stars I would! Did a few day rental on an intermediate vehicle for a business trip to North Carolina. Reserved the vehicle from 9 am so arrived at 9:15 to pick the vehicle up. Stood in a line to the door and after 15 minutes of waiting to be helped was told they didn't have a car available right that minute but a guy just returned his so they would have that cleaned up and ready to go. A few customers walked in after me and were given cars right away and I found myself being the last person standing there 30 minutes later. Went back over to the girl that helped and asked the status on the car and was shocked when she said they were going to pick my car up at a different location that it should be back soon. When asked what happened to the "car they were cleaning" was told that was for someone else. I truly felt like I had been invisible my entire time there as not one person acknowledged me or gave me any type of updates. A few minutes later the girl that was helping me walked outside and disappeared. I then decided to speak to the manager Ryan who said she just left to pick up my vehicle. Again, literally shocked of how many times I was lied to and the lack of any communication from the staff. The manager tried to say the reason I didn't have a vehicle was due to a recall on Nissan's...low and behold the vehicle they finally bring me at 11 am...wait for it...Nissan Altima. The manager Ryan said just hang on one more second because I want to fill the gas up for you and will waive the gas charge when you bring the vehicle back. I finally get to go out to the vehicle and the trunk looked like Freddy Krueger had a play day. This trunk was so scratched that it was an embarrassment to even take to work. I asked the girl would there be any additional discount, due to the damage and she said she would have to check with her manager. At this point, I just wanted to get the heck out of there since I already got a 2 hour late start. I start driving and look down only to realize I had about a quarter tank of gas. No idea what the manager did when he went to "fill up" but it obviously was not to put gas in it! When I finally returned the car back to the location near my house, no discount was applied and o thank you the gas was waived! So generous since they barely gave me gas in the first place! I was given a rental car under my warranty. I went to this location and Meaghan advised me that it would be around 5.00 more than the warranty would cover because they were covering 40.00 per day plus tax. I advised her that I did not want to have to pay anything out of pocket and it did not matter the type of car I just wanted to be fully covered. She put me in a Sonata and advised that she would work it out later if they paid less than what was to be paid. I advised her three times that I did not want any cost to come out of my pocket. She assured me it would not. When I got the call from Enterprise on Tuesday after dropping the car off the Friday before, I was advise it would cost me a portion. I made it quite clear when I was getting the car I wanted no out of pocket and here I am on Tuesday with out of pocket. I will NEVER use Enterprise again because the promises made, were not kept.
