I had a good experience at this Enterprise Rent-A-Car location. The location was easy to find, and the staff was friendly, quick, and helpful throughout the process. The waiting lobby was clean with plenty of chairs, which made the short wait comfortable. Check-in was easy and moved pretty quickly overall, although there was only one check-in lane open, so I could tell some people were starting to get a little restless. Personally, I thought the process still moved faster than expected. Picking up the car was super easy, and the overall experience was smooth and efficient. WAITING TIME after check in over 1 HOUR in the lobby. Lobby is packed, people are waiting every where: seating on the floor, by the wall, no chairs available. This office accepts too many reservations for the few vehicles they have available so when you show up the place is already packed with other people waiting about an hour for their vehicle. HOPE is always extremely kind and keeps me posted along the way of what's happening next all while answering a ton of phone calls. She helped me get my car and I they gave me a nice Jeep ,I had fun driving . JACOB assisted me with bringing my car back and he was also extremely kind and attentive. Brooklyn and Hope did an AMAZING job getting me into a rental quick and easy. Hope helped me with my insurance to get into a larger vehicle and called them herself. Anyone knows who has been in a car accident knows its a pain to deal with insurance so i really appreciated that she went above and beyond to do that herself. Picking up my rental was fine. I had rented a compact car for work travel. However, on the 2nd day of having the rental I wanted to clean the windshield however there was NO washer fluid. And the light for tire pressure came on showing tires were low. On the day of return I filled up the gas tank and the gas gauge stopped working thankfully I was able to show my receipt. If I could rate negative stars for the Goodyear Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Beware, make sure to read the contract If I could give them 10 negative stars, I would. I have been renting from this location for two years now, and there's always some issue when I return a car or make a reservation. Nonetheless, I kept ignoring the problems until this issue occurred. My son rented a car from this location. He is the primary insurance holder and is also on my insurance. While visiting his in-laws in California, he parked the rental car in front of their house. While he was inside, a neighbor accidentally backed into the car. The neighbor did the right thing by informing my son of the accident and providing his insurance information. My son also used my insurance for the rental. When he returned the car, he informed Enterprise about the incident and provided both my insurance and the neighbor's insurance information. However, Enterprise told my son he had to pay a $500 deductible. My son pointed out that this requirement was not stated in the contract. The supervisor claimed that someone should have informed him during the walk-through. My son responded that he was never told and questioned why it was not explicitly mentioned in the contract if it was a requirement. As a result, Enterprise withheld his $200 deposit. My insurance company confirmed that he should not have to pay a deductible since the insurance provider is responsible for the damages. They stated that Enterprise should not incur any out-of-pocket costs. In fact, representatives from three other Enterprise locations confirmed that my son should not have been asked to pay a deductible, as both my insurance and the at-fault party's insurance should cover the damages. I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the $200 deposit they were holding. Despite calling the area manager at least ten times, she has refused to return my calls. Each time I call, I am given excuses such as, "She is off today," "She is conducting an interview," or "She is with a customer." If they were doing the right thing, why are they avoiding speaking with me? Do not do business with Enterprise Rental in Goodyear, located on Van Buren between Litchfield and Dysart. read more

The Goodyear store team has been nothing but outstanding, from the shuttle drivers to the staff. I've been using this location for several years now. I've observed the employees deal with hostile customers, the employees are extremely professional. The costumers usually do not have the required documents needed to rent a car. Customer Service is very unprofessional and dishonest. I reserved online and was told my total would be 274 but when I got to the Goodyear location the young woman helping me said she had to charge me an additional 200 deposit. I am a loyalty customer with a long history of renting from Enterprise. The increase required me to deposit an e check into my account to cover the difference which I did while the employee stood there. Then she went to the manager claiming I told her I was committing fraud lol (apparently she was unfamiliar with e deposit). I showed the manager 3 forms of proper ID and also an insurance card all with my same name and my photo. Then manager Raymundo told me my card had declined in front of several customers (quite embarrassing) so I got on the phone with my credit union and they requested a transaction number because they claimed they did not decline a transaction . I requested that the manager speak to my credit union (who was on the phone) but he refused. He clearly did not want to resolve the problem nor did he have the skill to do so. I asked Raymundo why he lied about the declined transaction and He told me he could decline service to anyone he wanted to which made me realize enterprise does not care about their customers. He told me a credit card could only be swiped once in a 24 hr period which also was a lie . I am a medical professional licensed by the state of Arizona and the California State Medical board. I hold conferences for professional organizations where we set up airline, car rentals and hotels. I'm assuming because the place was so packed they may have made more reservations than they had cars. My organization will no longer be using enterprise as a result of this experience. I also cancelled a pending cash auto purchase transaction with Enterprise because of the dishonest way I was treated. If I could rate negative stars I would! BEWARE! Event though you are able to make a car rental reservation online, call the actual location to ensure that they have a vehicle for you. I made a reservation online and even did a pre-check in to save time at the counter upon pick up. I decided to call the location a few minutes before driving there. I was told that they do not have any vehicles today and that there is a "glitch" on their website. "Glitch" my A$$! Apparently, just as with other rental companies, their call centers do NOT communicate with their locations to ensure inventory! DO NOT PREPAY FOR YOUR RENTAL UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THEY HAVE A VEHICLE FOR YOU! PREPAYING WILL NOT "SAVE YOU TIME". They need to better communication and inventory control as a company! This blows my mind, how such "BIG" companies do not have a better system in place. Let me add, Ryan from the Roosevelt St in Avondale location said that they give priority to customers referred by shops that they have long relationship history with. So basically, if your insurance company doesn't have a long history with them, you are out of luck! This is unbelievable. The Enterprise agent from the call center had told me that they give priority to Insurance Claims, which is completely untrue! Insurance claim customers are in distress! Negative stars for me and my first time using this company and NEVER again which is unfortunate due to always having family and friends in town that need a rental car. I have been without my Jeep for over a week due to transmission issues so I called the reservation line and had great service and they emailed me my confirmation for a pick up at 4:30 pm Friday! Well, they were a no-show which caused me to miss my important event at 7pm in Scottsdale. They said that once you make a reservation that the "system" does NOT allow them to choose if the customer needs a ride or the customer is going to the location to pick up the car and that is the reason they no-showed me! Well, Enterprise.. you may want to think about taking the initiative (like SW Airlines did) and update your system to be clear if the customer either needs a pick up ride or the customer will pick up the car at a location. I had a full on conversation with the gentleman who took my call because I was shocked an additional charge was not applied for needing a ride. After all that, the local shop did absolutely zero to help me out due to it being now 5:15 and there drivers are gone for the weekend, oh and they offer NO PICK UPS on weekends due to "short staffing"!! Well then, HIRE!!! COVID was so 5 year ago!! I was transferred back to "reservations" to update my current reservation and the person in reservations stated he could NOT help me due to that location showing a "sold out" status therefore he could not update my reservation and he needs me to call the local number back. After my fourth and final phone call, Hope stated she just could not help me out and I was going to have to go elsewhere for a rental car. OK, HOPE, because that's an easy thing to do on a Friday night at now almost 6pm and I still have no car for the weekend, Thank You for that! I did try Turo and Budget and no availability on Turo and Budget was closed according to there customer service line. Needless to say, my children planned to rent a car in May while they are here for 2 weeks and guess what we are not going to Enterprise!! I guess this is may payback for being a Jeep owner my entire life, ha! When I travel to WA in June, not using Enterprise, when my family of 12 goes to Hawaii in Sept for a family trip and we are renting 3 cars, not using Enterprise, and anyone coming to AZ to visit, NOT USING ENTERPRISE!! By far the worst customer service!!!! Clark the manager, store manager and other staff i simply feel awful for.... they went from forgetting about me while pregnant and my transportation years ago..... to then accidentally taking over 1,000 out of my bank account and then taking weeks to put it back in my account, due to a billing mishap. This didn't stop there, i was later promised .....a month before the pandemic a retal at no costs due to the huge inconvenience! And after a while confirmed by staff that they would honor this to after multiple times asking for the manager and being given the run around but still promised a redo and comp rental i decided to continue and give it another shot. Again, after planing our trip and depending on our vehicle promised by enterprise staff Emma and Chip..... and told we should be good to go with no manager in sight.....ever i then one day prior to the rental get a call from a manager that was never, not once even bothered speaking to me appear and also a Clark who was a regional and so unprofessional.... he texted me asking if i had any verbal promises in writing and after i said no he stated, since i didn't have anything in writing they were not liable to give me the rental promised. Again, this all transpired over time and his unprofessionalism and the, "you don't have evidence of what we promissed" let me know about this company and the trash executives they have! He was able to convince the employees to, not recall anything promised or encounters with me. Do not do business with them! The manager who promised the comp vehicle was supposedly fired, it was simply my word against theirs and all notes were lost...... he offered a deal that was still expensive simply because of the promised information still not being correct due to no proof or that manager no longer working he refused to help me. I asked for a return call and instead he ignored me this all was hours prior to our planned vehicle.....again i paid over draft fees for their mistakes, was left with contractions in their facility and they forgot about my vehicle and took my money....and i was understanding..... and yet they did this.... here is the proof.....this again is the worst unproffesionalism i have see.... read more

Do NOT rent a car from this location. If you do, be prepared for the worst customer service experience of all time. We rented a mini van two months ago in preparation for a road trip. The day of the reservation, someone from the branch called. She said the van that was returned had a busted windshield and that they did not have any other mini vans or large SUVs. The largest SUV they had was a Rav 4. She said she could call some more locations to see if they had a mini van available. She called back 10 min later and said she could not locate a mini van. So, I asked if there were any larger vehicles available, and she said she would call (while audibly annoyed and sighing). She never called me back. We had no choice but to take our our car because this location runs their operation so poorly, they could not ensure a proper clean and turn over of the van. I called about 5 times and sat on hold to verify if the reservation was cancelled. No one picked up the phone. I called the reservation line to get someone on the phone, and they picked up. She tried to patch me through on her end. This branch never even picked up for the Enterprise reservation line. So, just avoid. Their staff and processes do not lend themselves to a good customer service experince. I do not believe I will rent a car from Enterprise again. The phone line is ringing like crazy. Second review: things don't change Worst experience ever! Called yesterday 5/29 at 5:30 and was on hold until someone picked up and hung up at 5:50. Called back immediately on hold until 5:59 and was hung up on again. Came today 5/30 at 5:25 pm to pick up my rental and waited 40 minutes before I was seen. Not once was I given a greeting. No, how are you? Or how's your day? Where ya headed? Not one greeting. I was asked for my id and credit card and that's pretty much all the communication. This location was not friendly at all. My husband and I rented a minivan for a trip to CA. When we arrived we were greeted and did not have to wait long. The two men at the front were friendly and professional. Dropping off we hit a slight snag (poor time management on our part). I called and Eli helped us out by allowing us to bring the car back first thing the following morning. We were so thankful. They allow you to book a reservation online for a car, and then let you waste your time going all the way up there just to tell you they have no cars available! How do you not have cars available, but you confirm the reservation? They don't even have the decency to call you ahead of time to let you know, so you can make different arrangements! They could care less that your time was wasted and their only solution is to try to come back the next day and see if they have a car available! I wouldn't have booked a car for that specific day if I was going to come back the next day! I Will never be renting from this location again, and matter fact, I will not be renting from enterprise at all in the future.
