Absolutely not!!! My daughter had a reservation for two weeks prior to picking up the car. Got there, no cars available. They proceeded to tell her to contact other locations to find a car on her own. HORRIBLE business practice and customer service. She also called other Enterprise locations. They promised to have someone locate a car for her. No response back. Will never use Enterprise again. I'm required to give one star. But it should be negative stars!!!! read more

Incredible how the lack of customer satisfaction, awareness, curtesy and just plain quality service one would expect when patronizing a business such as Enterprise located at 3828 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro. I felt totally ignored when I showed up to pick up a van I had reserved more than a month in advance. Here, my experience, went far beyond utter disappointment. But instead I became very upset and angry beyond measure. I was told the van was recalled on the day I arrived to pick it up. Although there was ample time for Enterprise to call me in advance regarding the situation, they neglected to do so. When asked of an alternative I was told by the associate to try another company because they didn't have anything available for me to rent, therefore putting me in an impossible position. Even worse I spent the day trying to locate a vehicle without success. I reached out to Enterprise Customer service several times during the day with them promising to find me a vehicle, but they never called back. I never received an apology or assistance for the dilemma I faced that could have been avoided with simple customer care, compassion and consideration. Coincidently, during the time of my initial scheduled pick-up there was a rental van like the one I had reserved parked in front of the building as if waiting to be picked up. I was told by another branch that not all vans were affected by the recall and thus still being rented. At this point they deserve the lowest rating on the scale mainly due to failure of expectation. read more

They forgot to come pick me up at a collision center for 1/2 an hour after taking a different person for their rental. When they took me to rental locadion, they THEN told me I had to be driven to a different location because " they were out of cars." There were two SUVs in the lot that they said "were taken by other customers." No reason for them to take me to a location where they knew there were no cars instead of taking me to the location wheee they were cars. we were going on a trip for our anniversary and as a treat we rented a luxury vehicle and paid extra. we paid ahead and got a confirmation number and even called ahead to say we were on the way. We got there and they had no luxury vehicles. They had a truck and a Rogue. False advertising and they didn't care that we were upset. It was like take it or leave it. We had to take the Rogue and it wasn't even ready. we had to wait an extra hour. This is unacceptable and I would not recommend this company read more

Let me just say that this location gets a bad rap. And I don't know why. However there does appear to have had a management shift; for the better. If i could have this crap hole a negative value of stars, or even just 0 stars, then I 100% would!!!! This has been one if the most stressful situations that I have ever experienced. I booked my car the day before, called the morning of and confirmed that everything was good to go. I was on a tight schedule after leaving work and needed to get on the road ASAP. I entered the location and had to wait 15 minutes until I was even greeted while the employee took a PERSONAL PHONE CALL!!!! When I was finally greeted and began the process the employee was rushed, flustered and continued to ask me the same questions over and over again. After going over insurance, etc, he tells me the price of the car, which I expected as it was stated when I reserved the car. What was not stated was the ADDITIONAL $200.00 deposit that you have to apparently put down on the car at time of pick up!!!!!!!! I was on a tight budget and that two hundred bucks would put me in the hole for the remainder of the trip. They wouldn't even let someone else pay for it over the phone. They claimed that they had to have a card to swipe. Absolute bull shit. I also had to impromptu provide an on time paid utility bill or a pay stub that had been issued within the last 30 days. WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH RENTING A CAR??????? We finally get all of that sorted and I end up paying the ridiculous additional fee because at this point I've been in this location for 40 minutes dealing with this issue and am very late getting on the road, a fact which I mentioned more than once during the process. The male employee leaves when a blonde female employee comes in and so apparently now she is taking over my transaction. This employee tells me that my vehicle will be a Nissan Altima - not the Mitsubishi that I reserved online. At this point I don't care and say that it is fine. She then proceeds to tell me that my car is in the middle of an oil change and will be a few minutes. Super annoying seeing as I reserved the car for noon and it was now 1pm and my car was not yet available. 15 more minutes go by and the employee tells me that she will call to see where the car is. She calls someone, I assume another employee who is with the car, and checks the eta. She then proceeds to have a 20 minute conversation with this person over the phone about a whole other topic! When she finally gets off of the phone she tells me that this person will be here any second with the car. Well, that any second turns into another 15 minutes. Eventually the employee grabs her clip board suddenly and ushers me outside telling me that the car is ready for me. We step right outside of the door and she then proceeds to tell me that my car is still at the body shop and will not be available until much, much later, but that they have some other options for me. She offers another vehicle (some midsize suv) or a ginormous van that was just returned moments ago (meaning it would not be cleaned before my use!). I told her that I booked a smaller vehicle for a reason but that I would settle for the midsize suv. She says great and that it is at the body shop and she will go and check to make sure it can be brought up. Why did you offer me an option that you were not sure would be possible.?????? She then tells me to stay here (note: it is pouring rain and I am standing on the sidewalk getting drenched and have currently been at this location for over 2 hours) and she goes inside to call. 15 minutes later I am huddling against the building trying to keep me and my bags dry and she finally comes back and says that she is changing the car again and that they are giving me a Kia Rio instead. Jesus Christ! Just give me a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 10 - 15 minutes later she comes outside with a big smile on her face as a car pulls up. Not a Kia Rio. "Good news!" She says, "we have a differently Nissan Altima available for you!" And then she stands there like she is expecting me to congratulate her on finally giving me a car after 4 tries and almost 3 hours later. At this point I am fuming and I have a 5 hour drive ahead of me that will now have me arriving 3 hours later than planned. Then, as she hands me the keys she tells me that they are closed the day that I am to return the car, and are also closed for the 2 days after that. So my car will not be looked over and signed off on until 3 days after I have returned from my trip. Only then will by deposit be given back and that it will take about 4-5 days to process and return to my bank account. SERIOUSLY!!!????!!!!???!!! I am beyond disgusted by the lack of customer service and the over all nonexistent professionalism at this branch. This experience has let a permanent bad taste in my mouth when it comes to Enterprise. I WILL NEVER, NEVER, NEVER BE RENTING FROM THEM AGAIN!!!! ENTERPRISE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES! read more

Avoid this Enterprise location. When my insurance requested a vehicle and made a reservation they were already out of cars and the branch manager Bailey blamed the situation on a "scheduling error" which is not true. Nor was I contacted ahead of time when they knew they were out of cars. Bailey also had personal conversations with clients while other customers were waiting. I would encourage others to go to a Enterprise location where the management does not blame other customers for their mistakes, fails to communicate, and wastes valuable time. read more

I just recently rented my third car form this location and this was the quickest in and out. Maybe because it was the middle of the afternoon, but it was just so easy. I didn't give them 5 stars b/c when I started to drive away I noticed, everything was sticky in the car and something was all over the windshield (on the inside). I had to go home and wipe down the entire inside. Yes I could have taking it back, but I didn't have a lot of time. So I did it myself. When I returned it, I mentioned the stickyness and they made it right by taking money off the bill. Overall this is a good location, I will defintely use again. read more

Bare with me. This is lengthy. Only leaving 1 star so I'm able to review. Enterprise is the WORST company I have ever done business with. My brother and I rented a SUV from the Greensboro, NC location on Battleground ave this past Friday to go on a weekend business trip to Atlanta, GA. We picked up the car Friday night and got on the road. Within an hour, the left, back tire says low tire pressure. We stop, in a rainstorm to refill. We drive another hour and a half, and again, the tire pressure is low. At this point, we are too far to turn around and go back home and Enterprise is closed so we figured we'll get to Atlanta and call Enterprise in the morning to swap out vehicles. We ended up stopping 2 more times for air on our way to Atlanta before finally getting to the hotel. Saturday morning comes, we call Enterprise in Greensboro, NC first to try to get some help, they were worthless. We then try to call the Atlanta locations nearby, they too were worthless. We even called the airport and they couldn't help us either. Finally we call someone that I assume works in an Enterprise call center, recommend we take the vehicle to either Firestone or TiresPlus (they have partnerships with both companies) to get a replacement tire. We chose TiresPlus for they said they could get us in and out faster than Firestone. We go to leave the hotel to take the vehicle to TiresPlus, guess what? The back left tire is almost completely flat and now the front left tire too has low tire pressure. We then go to a store to get air for both tires before going to Tires Plus. We finally get to tires plus and explained what was going on with them. They advised that Enterprise had to approve a new tire or any maintenance before they got started. We called Enterprise in Greensboro again. By this time, its after 11am and they close at 12. They still didnt have any answer for us or gave us any help. We ended up sitting at TiresPlus for 2 hours before hearing anything. ENTERPRISE DIDNT APPROVE FOR NEW TIRES OR ANY MAINTENANCE! We didn't understand because Enterprise told us to go there and didn't want to approve the work to be done. TiresPlus advised that both tires had several nails and that the back tire had a rather large puncture and needed to be replaced. So at this point, Enterprise is close, and we do not have a safe vehicle to drive. We ended up leaving the vehicle at TiresPlus and Ubered back to the hotel to figure out how we were going to get back home. It's almost 2 pm at this point. Around 4:15pm comes and we get a call from TiresPlus. They told us Enterprise never approved any work to be done so instead of waiting for them, they patched the tires so we could get back home at least. We Uber back over to TiresPlus to pick up the vehicle and get on the road. Guess what? Same issue occurred again, the left back tire becomes flat on our way back to Greensboro, NC. We stopped a total of 7 times for air going to Atlanta and back to Greensboro. Enterprise did NOT ensure we had a safe, reliable vehicle to travel to Atlanta and back, nor did they assist in any way. They breached their contract for we got extra insurance in case something happened, we were not liable and that they would take care of us. They didn't. If it wasn't for TiresPlus, doing the work without approval, we don't know how we would have gotten home. Trip was a complete waste of time. We literally got nothing done in Atlanta and basically went down there to take their vehicle to the shop. Enterprise put our lives in danger driving 5 plus hours on a vehicle with 2 bad tires. Will NEVER do any type of business with them as long as we live. Absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. read more

I have rented several cars from this location. The staff is always very friendly and the check in process is very quick. Even with all of the different types of cars that I have rented, they have always been clean and ready to go when I arrive. I appreciate their service of pick-up/drop-off if you need it. I'd give this place negative 5 stars if I could. I placed a reservation prior to arrival only to find out they would not rent to me because I did not have a major credit card with me. A deposit or hold within my account would not suffice. The girl at the front counter was so incredibly rude in giving me that information and going so far as to say, "I can't help you." Oddly enough, my sister had a similar experience with the same girl weeks earlier. I went to Avis and they rented and SUV to me for less than Enterprise, without a major credit card and with fast and friendly service. It was like night and day. Kiss my grits Enterprise. I'll stick with and recommend Avis from here on out. read more

I have been renting cars from this Enterprise location more than 4 years. Their pick-you-up policy is the best. They are always on time and, although the office personnel change fairly rapidly, they are all very professional and pleasant. Because I no longer put my 20-year-old BMW on the road for long trips, Enterprise on Battleground is always there for me! read more
