Stay far away from this location. The dishonesty runs from the front‑line staff all the way up through management and corporate "customer service." The employee who checked us out lied about the insurance price, and when I brought this up at return, the staff member there apologized and--without me asking for anything--offered to comp me one rental day and said the refund would go back to my card. It's now been almost two months, and despite a conversation with the manager, Justin, who assured me it would be handled, and a follow‑up call to the 1‑888 number where I was told someone would get back to me "right away," I have received no call and not a single cent of the promised refund. Enterprise gave me a car and the tags expired. They were to pick the car up daily from Tuesday to Monday. Every day they were picking it up. The manager K. got smart and hung the phone up. I called corporate and they will investigate. The service was poor from the beginning. I waited all day for them to provide the vehicle and then got one with tags that expired and was disrespected. I have photos daily of the car and expired tags. I was given no receipt. I was told that at least I didn't charge you. The fact is that is was not operable and remained in my yard. Enterprise on West Wendover has lack of communication, misinformation and lost phone. Calling 800# is a joke! Enterprise calling itself family business is a stretch since have to deal with each location when need resolve issues, so if location is the issue, forget about it. Was informed will receive call back, it took 4 calls and eventually calling other location to get a number only for number to not be accepting calls and should continue call back. We rented from the location on Cornwallis in Greensboro NC 12/29/2025, and the experience was terrible. Our rental was made over a month in advance and was for as noon pickup and they called at 10:30 an hour and a half before pickup to tell us they did not have us a vehicle, so our trip was delayed. We called several time thought out the day and no results and no call from the General/Regional manager as promised. Finally around 5 they called and was informed they had a vehicle. First of all it wasn't what we ordered, it was filthy it was just rinsed off still had the water was still on it when we got it, no gas and all they offered was a 15% discount, after having to wait all day. They has three different contact numbers and as of today 1/5/2026 no phone call from anyone, this is very poor customer service at the highest. When the car was returned still no apology from anyone at all. Never ever again will I rent from this place. They are overpriced for the service that they offer. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DISHONEST AND UNPROFESSIONAL! I had one of the worst customer experiences of my life with this company. I initially booked a car at their Greensboro office for a week but had to return it after just one day at a different location. An employee confirmed the return and assured me that my reservation would be ceased and I would not be charged beyond that. Despite this, weeks have passed and not only I have NOT received my deposit or refund for the unused days, I was charged extra with no explanation whatsoever. I have called multiple times and even visited their office in person several times. Every time, they acknowledged that I returned the car on the correct date, confirmed my queries were logged, and even gave me a reference number. But nothing has been resolved. I've been told repeatedly, "we have to talk to the manager," while the manager is clearly sitting in the back, refusing to talk to me. Their behavior is evasive, rude, and frankly dishonest. I've been given the runaround for weeks, and it feels like they're hoping I'll just give up. At this point, I'm considering legal actions. To anyone considering renting from this company, DO NOT TRUST THEM. They will take your money, lie to your face, and disappear when you ask for accountability. Great experience. They picked me up form the train station in my car I rented. Very quick paperwork signed in their iPad and card scan and I was off. Mike was a great help. They will not take a reservation properly, they will not give you the car they promise, they will not give you the price they promised without haggle, and they will not provide basic good customer service. We just had the best experience renting a cargo van. Zach provided terrific customer service and answered our questions fully. He was a very personable fellow, was professional and knowledgeable about the vehicles and the rental process. The manager Zeto Sesus (Spanish Guy) is a joke. I had a reservation and was scheduled to be picked up at 2:30 that afternoon, I was called 2 hours before pick up and told that no cars were available I had made the reservation at 9a.m. that morning. I reserved a car from here through their website. It was very easy to do. I ended up cancelling it twice, which was also very easy to do since payment isn't required until you pick it up. A received a confirmation phone call two days in advance. The representative confirmed the time of pick up (which I was able to change it while it she on the phone), size/class car, and necessary information needed to complete the reservation pick up. You need a photo ID, proof of employment or full coverage auto insurance, at least 1 (2 is preferred) utility bill with no past due balance, and a deposit of $100. The deposit amount has changed. It is now $200, so I got lucky with that. Also, for some discount, become an Enterprise Plus member. Signing up is quite easy online. I think it took less than 2 minutes to do. When I went to picked up the car, the representative was very friendly, gave a run down on the policy, was able to answer all the questions I had, and applied the discounts I was able to get. I had no issues with the car. It had 3/4 tank of gas. Filling it up was great. Cost me about $20. Very nice on the pockets. I'll continue to use this rental company. read more

The insurance company sent me to Enterprise to get a car while my car was being repaired. I've never used Enterprise, but I was very pleased with the customer service and experience. Shelley is SUPER good and very kind. She worked with us to get the car that fit my needs and within the range that the insurance company will cover. Shelley is so friendly and professional. The worst customer service! Rude staff! They charged my mother for the additional insurance even after she said she didn't need it. Complained to Corp. They said the District Mgr. Would call me so we can resolve this but it has been over 10 days numerous phone calls and no call from the District Mgr. Very poorly run. As I agree with another young lady, it always seems to be a shortage of cars or to be over booked. Not only this locations but the others in the surrounding area. It kind of seems senseless to make a reservation because it won't be honored. Even if they don't have the size vehicle reserved and they have something bigger, they still insist that you pay for the bigger vehicle at that vehicle price or you get no car at all. The staff is pretty good, always smiling.....until they become overwhelmed, then you start to see the real them. Last time I rented a car from them, the air pressure in the tire kept getting low, because I was driving long distance, I didn't want to take that chance, so prior to leaving I took the car back to exchange it out. They then have me another vehicle that said oil change soon and the Bluetooth function didn't work. I told them I wasn't comfortable driving this vehicle because of the oil change light, I was told to take the vehicle to the shop that does the maintenance and have them reset the sensor. So, I refused to take that car. After change vehicles 3 times and transferring luggage 3 times in the rain, they finally got me into an ok vehicle. I watched them vacuum the car, however it could have been better. It was clearly a no smoking car, yet it reeked of smoke, the seats had burn marks and dirt stains, yet that was the best they had. So waiting on them to bring the keys and the contract, they didn't print the contract, they have me the keys and told me I didn't need to contract. About 3 hrs later guess who gets pulled over by the police???? That contract would have been handy then huh? After explaining to the SC officer why I didn't have a contract, he let me go. When I called to have them email me the contract, I was told they didn't know how to do that. So finally, the next day I as able to get the contract via fax. So I probably won't be using this branch again unless it's my last choice. read more

I rent from this location quite often. Usually, my experiences are pleasant. My last experience was great, up until they emailed me the receipt for my weekend rental, which showed I had been charged more than double the amount on the initial contract. No big deal. Called the location, and was assured they would be refunding the overcharged portion, as they charged me for insurance, when I initially declined that option. Ten days later, still no refund to my credit card. Contacted the location for a second time, and was placed on hold for 25 minutes. Called back, and the gentleman working noted they were busy, and he would personally call me back before he left for the day. Well, lets say that did not occur. I had rented cars on several occasion from this enterprise and very satisfy. However, last weekend was a different story. We had made reservation 3 weeks in advance. We arrive in Greensboro from out of town and no cars were available. They kept saying were are sorry, but it did not help we were stranded. I will not book them again. read more

Although the staff was friendly, the place seemed a bit disorganized. I had to wait 30 minutes for a vehicle even though I had a reservation. Once a vehicle arrived, it was extremely dirty and had body damage. They told me that they could clean it or wait for another vehicle that was getting an oil change, but I would have to wait longer. I was already late for work so I opted for the car even though it was dirty. The car was actually disgusting. There was sticky residue in the cup holders, the windows looked like they had not been cleaned in weeks and the outside was filthy. The vehicle also had body damage to the front fender and every time I had to make a sharp turn, the bumper and fender would rub the tire. The worst part was the vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke even though there was a no smoking sign on the dashboard. If a place is going to have a reservation, they should have a clean vehicle ready to go without the customer having to wait. read more
