Horrible service. The morning of booking I received a call stating they didn't have anything available. Only solution was to make reservations somewhere else or call back 6 hours later to see if they have anything available. shouldn't let anyone book if there is nothing available. You can never get anyone to answer the phone. But once you do get to the store the customer is pretty good. We did book a car for 8am, they didn't have anything ready and of course no one bothered to call us once one was ready. We just went up there ourselves. read more

If I could give a negative 5 I would. Rented a car from Greensboro nc. Wasn't even the style vehicle we reserved. Then didn't have it 3 and half hours till it broke down. Called break down they towed the car but left my husband, two children and myself stranded in the middle of nowhere. Swore they were sending us an Uber but then canceled it bc we weren't in a major city. The Uber was supposed to take us to concord to the airport to get another vehicle. When they canceled the Uber I asked breakdown what were supposed to. They said call local and state police and ask for a ride! Finally a nice lady and her husband gave my husband and kids a ride while I stayed with the car bc I didn't want to walk off and leave it. I called them back when I realized that concord would be closed before I could ever find a way there. They told me too bad I would have to call the location we rented from when they opened and "try" to get a replacement vehicle but couldn't promise we could. So they take your money leave you stranded and don't care. Don't use them. read more

Let's just say car reservation was made online for 12pm and 2.5 hours later, still waiting and no car rental. They said because I just made the reservation today, they have no car to give me nor is there any in the area and stated the airport would take longer. Quite possibly the most unprofessional and utterly useless rental service in the Greensboro area. They consistently do not provide rentals at the time they are scheduled for. On multiple occasions I've had to wait over an hour for my rental vehicle. Upon receiving the vehicle it has been almost out of gas and in bad condition. RUN. They charged us for a week of rental when we had the car for ONE DAY. Apparently the front dest guy at the Greensboro, NC location didn't "check" the car back in. They refuse to refund us, even though we have flights leaving that day and we have sent them this. They do not answer the phone, even after 10 phone calls. Worst experience ever. Do not rent from them. They do not care about their mistake. We literally flew home and we were in California when all this happened and they know it. Rented a 7 passenger van over the phone for $99/day on Friday without any problems. Showed up Saturday morning early to pick up my vehicle. We were greeted by Travis who we were hoping would get us on the road asap. Shortly after checking in he told us he didn't have any 7 passenger vans -- some were "supposed" to show up that morning but hadn't yet. He takes us out to the lot to look for a suitable replacement and a Jeep Grand Cherokee happens to pull up. Score! He says they'll detail it for me and have it ready in 5-7 minutes. Twenty minutes later I'm still waiting inside. I find Travis outside and he lets me know they actually gave the Jeep to someone else (who I found out later had also booked a 7 passenger vehicle). When was he going to tell me this?? Obviously I feel like I'm being jerked around at this point. I ask what he's going to do to fix this. He looks off into the distance, as if a van is going to magically appear over the horizon, and says he's going to keep calling the other locations. That's when I told him I should have just rented from one of his competitors at the airport. Suddenly he perks up and tells me the Enterprise at the airport should definitely have a van. Eureka! Why hadn't he just mentioned that before? He says he'll call the manager there and let him know I'm coming. I hightail it to the airport. I tell the dude at the desk that Travis from the Wendover location had called the manager to let him know I was coming. They tell me they definitely have a van but that the airport Enterprise operates somewhat separately from the other locations and they will have to charge me their rate ($30/day more) and an airport tax of about $50. I was royally pissed now. Travis had mentioned NOTHING about this. To make a long story short, after some serious cajoling, the folks at the airport ended up working with me to give me the rate I had originally booked (thanks to Dan for being reasonable and understanding my situation). Needless to say, I did not get an early start and got out of town about two hours after I had originally planned. Not sure I would trust the Wendover location again after this. read more

My experience from start to finish has been an absolute nightmare. When I got the call to come pick up the vehicle, I explained that I had no way out to the facility, as my car was not drivable. The gentleman on the phone said "Well we cannot pick you up because it's just me and one other person working." - So much for "Enterprise, we'll pick you up." About 30 minutes to an hour later he called and stated that the person cleaning the vehicles was able to come and get me and it would be about 30 minutes. When I finished the paperwork I went to leave with the vehicle but I went back inside and told them the vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. The response I got was "well we can't always pinpoint which customer smoked it in but you won't be charged for it." No offer to switch the vehicle out, however based off my initial interaction of getting the vehicle, I was not expecting stellar customer service from this location. On, Monday, February 1st, I called the location again and told them I needed another vehicle because the lingering smell of smoke was messing with my sinuses and my daughters. I was offered a bigger vehicle, which meant higher gas prices. I asked to be notified when a smaller vehicle came in because I am a single mother and I don't have $60/week to be paying in gas for normal transportation use. A week later I called a different location and they sprayed the vehicle with a chemical to help with the odor but it lasted for a day or two. That location was very kind but they unfortunately had no other vehicles available to help me. On Saturday, February 6th I got a very rude phone call from yet another employee at the Market St. location telling me "Yeah, your rental car expires on Monday at midnight, so you will need to drop it off by midnight or we will charge you for daily use." She was very curt and disrespectful throughout the phone call. I had to call back to find out why they charged my card on file. The same rude associate said "Well when you signed the contract you knew of the $1.xx extra daily fee, so we charged it for the 3 days." When I asked why she didn't advise me of it when she first called her response was, "well you signed the paperwork so you knew." This location should not be operational and if it is to be operational Enterprise should really look into changing out the team that works there. THE ONLY person who was even respectful and nice to myself and my daughter was the young lady that picked us up to get the vehicle from the location. The rest of them are rude and incompetent at best. Even though your slogan is "Enterprise, we will pick you up" this location is below the companies standards and I discourage people from using this location in the future. read more

I was satisfied with the original representative that checked me in, he was extremely professional and courteous, however I was extremely dissatisfied with the representative that handled my transaction upon the return of my rental vehicle, I was under the impression that she may have been either a lead representative or a supervisor as it really did not seem to phase her that she was being a little rude and non courteous during the finalization of my transaction. She rudely answered a 5 min phone call with another customer while she was waiting on me instead of asking the other customer on the phone to hold while she completed my transaction with me, she also placed additional charges without first consulting me and I was just dissatisfied with the amount of time I spent in the establishment just to return a vehicle that did not have any issue with it. read more

The staff here always takes care of me. They go out of their way to accommodate my needs, even driving across town to pick up a different car once. It is clear they care about their customers and are always professional & courteous. My coworkers complain that they have not always had this kind of experience when renting cars at other locations so I feel lucky to get this branch. read more

Let me start off by saying, Jamal gets 5 stars!! Went above and beyond to make the situation right. This particular location, if I could would get 0 stars. I have been renting from this particular location for over 3 years for business purposes. Recently they moved locations. I rented a truck on June 30th to move a couple of large items. Going by how I was treated in past by Joel, Pete, Sarah and Kenny, I just knew everything was going to be ok. Wrong!! When i went there in person to reserve, it was not mentioned that I could not leave my car on their lot. Many time before at old location I could leave my car parked on the back row. I rented from this location 5 days every 2 weeks. Apparently, since they moved rules have changed. You now have to park across street at Costco or TJ Maxx!!! Drive over there and the shuttle will follow you and bring you back. So, I'm leaving my car at a business that I am not going to, risk getting towed and what if i come back after Enterprise closes?? I have to walk back and get my car? Some places do not allow you to park there, and especially over night. If my car gets towed, I highly doubt that Enterprise is going to cover cost. In the end, after much fussing at Jamal, even though not his fault, he allowed me to leave my vehicle there for few hours. This will be my last time renting from this location or recommending anyone to go there. My choice will be either airport location or Asheboro. Enterprise needs to be more considerate of needs. read more

I needed to use this Enterprise location a few weeks ago when the transmission in my car went out and it was in the shop. I received excellent customer service. All the employees were very polite, friendly, and professional. They even insisted on giving me a ride back to the car dealership, which was right across the road. My rental car was clean, and they had me in and out in a relatively short period of time both for pick up and drop off. Overall, it was an excellent experience. read more

Worst car rental service I have ever encountered!! Enterprise took over 40 minutes to pick us up. A lady with an autistic son decided to walk as she had appointments. When I arrived at the rental center, she was still there. The agency had no cars available but stated there were over 20 reservations in the system. They tried to blame it on newly arriving customers but then backtracked when questioned why they would give out cars when reservations were waiting. This was on a Monday and the Friday prior I have telephonically confirmed my reservation for a specific car. Of course, that wasn't available and found out they never had on available. After 2 1/2 hours waiting, I was transported to a location 20 miles for a vehicle, still not what I hd reserved. When I called Enterprise customer service, they could have cared less. Too bad, so sad, talk with the local manager. I DID ask and he (Max) never showed his face. Simply stated, poor management and worse customer care or service!! WILL NEVER USE THIS LOCATION NOR ENTERPRISE AGAIN!!!! read more

Like reviews you will find on other sites about this office, i would not recommend them to anyone. Take the bus or walk they will treat you better and not rip you off. The service was horrible. They charged for an expense that they also charged another business for and could not explain it. All they did was talk in circles and say that they charged me and then credited me, and could not explain it. They also said that they did not have my card on file, though 13 days ago they charged my card. You would be better off walking than working with these people. Other Enterprise offices are great, but again I would not recommend them. STAY AWAY read more
