On February 25th, I rented a vehicle from Enterprise. I paid $300 down and $311 for the first week. On March 3rd I called an extended the rental for one more week, paying an additional $311. I then found another option for transportation that wasn't costing me as much. I called Enterprise and asked about returning it early and was told that I would get a prorated amount returned to my account when I return the vehicle. I returned the vehicle on March 6th, after hours I did the drop off and left the keys in the dropbox. This would have resulted in me using the car for only an additional 4 days, making the prorated amount $177. On March 12th, I received a message from Enterprise stating that I had made damage to the vehicle. They sent me a picture of the grill which had a crack along it. I did not cause any damage to the vehicle. They stated that they were taking $500 deductible and the rest of the message was unclear except for the fact that they were going to deduct an additional $270 from my bank account. This made my account overdrawn and caused for three automatic payments to be denied. I worked with seven different customer service reps on their customer service line. All of them seem to be trained in how to mute the customer until they give up and an overall want to resolve problems. I requested a supervisor and was put on mute until I could not wait any longer. I requested the risk department that I had been told that I needed to talk to only to be done told that there is not a risk department. I would like to have my money, totally $947, refunded to me as soon as possible. I did not cause any damage. read more

I do have one compliment. The young woman that helped me on Monday was fantastic! Personable, funny, and provided excellent service. A true gem. The only shining star I've dealt with in four days. I got a Nissan Sentra that shook so violently after getting on the freeway that my cheeks were shaking. The water bottle in the console was shaking and my bag fell of the passenger seat. I thought the car was going to fall apart or an axel was going to come off. It's a disgrace that that car was even on the lot. Just getting a car was a chore. No location in Worthington, Shrock Road, Powell, or Dublin had cars on Monday, so I had to get to Grove City by getting someone to drive me. The next day, I called around for a replacement car, and again, not one place had a vehicle. I had to drive back down to Grove City, after they told me they had a car. Brandon gave me a Mitsubishi Mirage. A SUB-COMPACT!!! The seat is stained and it's missing a hubcap. The car was so poorly cleaned that I found a work badge for a Kroger employee under the front of the passenger seat. Seriously!!! I was supposed to get something equal to the car that I own which is an Altima. I have talked to this office. Brandon is an embarrassment to customer service, and how he is a manager is beyond comprehension. Dismissive and worthless. I've called your Corporate office and nobody has called me back. I called the local office to speak to a manager and got Amadu (sp?). He kept cutting me off while I was talking. He said I'd get a call back from a district or regional manager. Never heard a damn thing. The lack of follow-up is unacceptable. Finally, I reported the issue to USAA, and I know they will get this straightened out. They were not happy. read more

This is our second negative experience with this office within the last month. First time we were scheduled to pick up a rental car at 9:00am, we arrived in time and then the car wasn't ready until 10:30am Yesterday we called and scheduled a pick up for this morning at 10:00am, it is now noon, and our car still isn't ready. (We're not just wandering in off the street - we are scheduling these pick ups ahead of time - WHY are the cars not here, ready and waiting for us???????) When we arrived at 10:00am, we went in and checked in at the intake desk. There are three young men sitting around in the office doing nothing. There is one more young man sitting at a computer and it looks like he may be working. After we checked in, the employee told us that he was sorry, but they didn't have any cars available for us. They would have to go pick one up from the body shop where we had just dropped our car off for repair. Two of the guys got into a car and left to go pick up our car. The employee said it would probably take a half an hour until our car would be ready. He offered to let us sit around there and wait. (No thank you) I had an 11:00 appointment down the road, so we left and I went to that appointment. After that we tried to call 8 times to see if our car was ready. No answer. Stopped by to check. Guys aren't even back with the car yet. We went to lunch to try and kill some time. Finished lunch, drove back. Still not ready. As I'm writing this, is it now 12:09 and we're still just sitting here. I'm not sure about anyone else, but we have full time jobs and we are missing work because of this. Even if I had no job, I don't want to sit around and do nothing while I wait on incompetent people to fail to perform their job. Our insurance company makes us use Enterprise, or we would NEVER choose to work with them. If you have a choice, go somewhere else. I know the people in this office don't care, I'm guessing Enterprise as a whole doesn't care, but I at least wanted to warn customers to not waste their time here. I have rented from this location many times, as it is close to my house. The staff is friendly and helpful. Sure, there have been small issues, but that is to be expected from a high-volume car rental business. Ever since the last manager left and a bunch of GenZ took over the branch, things have deteriotated to the point where I refuse to rent from Enterprise anymore. The new manager is rude, beliggerent and incompetent. Last exchange I had with her was "we aint gonna rent to you no more". Little does she know that I took our business, which is significant with weekly rentals for our office, over to Dollar already and couldn't be happier. About 2 weeks ago someone ran a stop sign and plowed me. Their insurance made me go here. I drive a full-size SUV fully loaded, and they gave me the smallest mini-suv they could, with no amenities.The radio does not work. Wont connect to my phone or sirius or anything. Ive been driving in complete silence. I lost all my sense of smell from covid, but everyone who has opened the door says the car stinks. They say it smells "chemically". Now I dont blame the location employees, they're just doing their jobs, but Enterprise corporate is a piece of work. I feel like they are colluding with the insurance company to punish me for having the audacity of getting hit. I've called their corporate office a couple times and been told someone would callback. They never callback. Update: Enterprise said they wanted to "make it right" and by that they meant its all the insurance companies fault. Despite the fact this car has a bad odor so bad my family and friends refuse to ride in it, and the radio is broken and Ive been driving in silence for a month, its not their problem somehow. I was told before I came I can use my debit card. I even called to make sure because I wanted to pick up the car before 12pm but when I got there no dice. But that's cool, policy, I get it. What I don't get is the cleanliness of the car. I mean just take a look at the picture. Foreal?!? I didn't take a pic but someone also left an inhaler in the glove compartment. My advice. Come with me on this journey. Picture it...a feisty city girl on the road. Committed to a vehicle in a dark garage after a delayed flight. I chose a cool car, but not a practical car. Flash forward almost 24 hours. I decided I needed to trade the cool car in for something else. Anything else. Well...I found myself at the Enterprise on hopes of a replacement for my bad choice. I spoke with Benny- my hero on the phone. But alas he was assisting other customers when I arrived. Omar- a sweet giant of a man valiantly helped me with a new car rental. He got me set up with a different car almost immediately. Due to circumstances beyond anyones control this replacement car was not going to work. So first thing in the morning I went right back to them to take back the initial cool car. They were the most laid back, awesome guys ever. I was not treated like a high maintenance princess. I was not treated like an inconvenience. These gentleman were so kind, accommodating I wish I lived closer so I could visit them just to give them doughnuts and high fives. You won't regret coming into this Enterprise . Totally unrelated, isn't it a shame the Enterprise folks don't use the slogan "Rent a prize with Enterprise" (TM)? read more

Car had to go in to service at the last minute and was able to easily obtain a car! Great car at a decent price. My only comment was that I called at 4:00 p.m. And asked that somebody come and pick me up (10 minutes away). Customer service person shared that you usually have to give a 2 hour advance notice (4:00 to 6:00). Isn't that advance notice? Only gave this 1 star because I had to in order to rate them. Run like hell to any location but this or better any car rental company but them. On December 21, 2018 I rented a 2017 Toyota Camry. This rental car would be driven to South Florida, on the Gulf coast and then back to Ohio. I picked the rental vehicle up in the evening, the temperature was about 37 degrees. During our trip we had to replace the windshield wiper blade at a mountain side truck stop at 2 am because it was raining and the blade was shot. We noticed that it seem to have transmission slip as well. When we arrived in sunny Florida and turned on the A/C as the temp reached a balmy 88 degrees by late morning we found that the A/C did not work. We called Grove City location but they said to contact Roadside and they couldn't help us. Roadside was having issues with the phone system and kept hanging up on us. Long story short after spending several hours over several days of our vacation Enterprise in Englewood, Florida found us a vehicle and swapped it. When we returned to Ohio we had the great misfortune of working with Clayton who said he wanted to make things right and gave us 1/2 off our rental. After we agreed to 1/2 off and finished the paperwork for it he then said oh yeah your not getting your $150 deposit back because they took the car to the shop and found a small hole in the radiator! Clayton then told us we caused this damage???? After many little arguments with Clayton the Great he proceeded to tell us it was our responsibility to inspect the radiator??? WHAT, how does one inspect a radiator??? Filed a complaint with corporate to dispute the claim and get the deposit back. Got to speak to Chris who is just as terrible as Clayton, pretty much told we probably ran over a pebble and punctured the radiator. Now waiting on Chris's manager to contact us. Customer Service was terrible, offered a discount only to find out later they would keep our deposit. Lied and scammed. Run Away Fast. read more

Our van died at a relative's house on Christmas Eve and we unfortunately we were without a car until after Christmas due to the dealership being closed. We went to Enterprise to get a loaner to have for Christmas then to get home. Upon arrival to Enterprise, we were told that there were no vehicles until we explained our situation, then magically a car was available for $125 a day! We contacted another car rental company in the area and they had one car available for $35 a day, same size as Enterprise. When asked why the car was so much more, we were told prices are set by corporate and that is the price. We have rented this same car before from Enterprise for $45 a day. We were left feeling like our situation was causing them to charge more and they were extremely unhelpful given our unique situation. We will not rent a car from them ever again! read more
