Even though I live five minutes from the Pembroke Pines location I rented from Hialeah as it was almost $100 less for simply driving another 20 minutes each direction. I asked Pines if they'd price match and they were very unpleasant! I was weary about the Hialeah location, however it was the best experience and I would definitely repeat it again! I had previously rented in Pines and the car was filthy and difficult to maneuver. This location had a new car with under 500 miles, very clean, cheaper, and the personnel were accommodating and absolutely STELLAR!!! had one of the worst experiences at Enterprise following a car accident with William Hernandez the assistant manger there. I had insurance coverage and specifically chose Enterprise because I believed in your "People First" slogan. Unfortunately, my experience was far from that. I arrived shaken from the accident, and not once did anyone ask if I was okay. Instead, I was told that if they gave me a car, they would "lose" one from their inventory. I was then instructed to call another Enterprise location myself. The representative even showed me the screen with other locations instead of assisting me. When I asked if he could please call the other location on my behalf considering I had just been in an accident and was visibly shaken he refused. He again mentioned it would be a "loss" for them. That response felt extremely unprofessional and lacked empathy. At a moment when customer care should have been prioritized, I felt dismissed and unsupported. Charged me $70 without calling to confirm, or without calling me to notify me that my insurance isn't paying for the rental anymore. They also told me they would refund me for one of the days if I took my car back the following day, I took the car back at around 2, and they denied me a refund (although they never told me to bring it back by a certain time.) very sneaky, money hungry, organization, that will do wherever they can to sneakily charge you. PLEASE READ! Car had broken glass in the back, behind and between the back seats. The rear windshield was obviously recently repaired but they forgot to clean all the glass, mind-blowing and extremely hazardous. The car had also a tire that was low on air and no spear tire!! They ask you to call 2 hours ahead and when you get there they tell you with a smile sorry nothing available must of been a miscommunication and "go some place else cause we can't help you here" Calling at 8:30 and arriving at 10 to pick up what was RESERVED for you, this is the shittiest excuse I've heard. I want to know how incompetent this company is that they think this is good customer service to send people to "go some place else" without even offering a solution or looking into their systems to speak with other branches about availability. This location sucks, they're customer service obviously does not care about the customer and I highly recommend you go somewhere else. Rented a truck for one-way trip to haul my stuff up to PA in April. I got a high-roof Dodge van that was huge inside for half the cost of a U-Haul rental, and I do mean half the cost. Horrible experience!! I'd give a zero starts if I could. My pick up was scheduled for 2pm. I called at 1pm to confirm my pick up time and to conf that they had an SUV available as per my reservation. Annie told me they were running late and they had two SUV but they couldn't hold the car (not sure what a reservation means for this company) until the person was there to sign. Okay..... she told me she would call me when the driver was on the way to pick me up. That was at 1pm. I called at 3pm and they still didn't have someone to pick me up - and now there was no SUV - after talking to the Javier (clueless manager) he confirmed that they were no cars and three people ahead of me (waiters). Finally got picked up at almost 5pm and when we arrived to Enterprise NO CARS and Four PEOPLE waiting on cars!!! Had to UBER home and I changed my reservation to the near my home (Coral Gables location) for tomorrow am. I'll post a review for that location. But I would strongly RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM HIALEAH ENTERPRISE. I forgot to add that during the wait for my pick up - I would call and it would go straight to the hold music - I had to start using my daughters phone and the body shop phone so they would answer my calls. Worst service! Girls they will make you cry and leave you stranded just because they are to lazy oh and they close at 5 not 6-7. If you need a car and have money and a claim avoid this place. I went with all my info and money they stated I needed over the phone but when I got there at 4:42 they were rude said they close by 5???? Gothem the manager was super nasty and rude even left me sitting there alone then told me to leave! This Enterprise site in Hialeah, FL did not have a car for us despite our guaranteed reservation through Travelocity. Any car. The Travelocity guarantee was not honored. We had to go to the Miami Airport to get a car. We tried Enterprise again there and they had no cars available either. After visiting several other rental car dealers we ended up renting a car from Family rent-a-car for almost $200 more and one less day. Additionally, we could not drop the car off at Tampa Int'l airport as planned. We had to rent another car from the Orlando airport, where we could drop off the Family rent-a-car car, for $80 today to be turned in at the Tampa airport tomorrow. We are here visiting family and we're renting mini van for two out of four days here. Our uncle was going to take us to the airport, but his van broke two days before we were suppose to leave! We called and asked if we could add a day and change drop off locations, they said over the phone it would be $100 just to change locations! This office needs help. While I am sure they do their best, I spent 35 minutes in the office before I drove off in the rental and a whopping 25 minutes simply to return the car. This concerned me because dropping off the car I feel inconvenienced the person waiting for me outside the office and it shouldn't take 25 minutes to end the contract. With airport offices, you simply leave the car upon arrival They also don't communicate with each other very well. On my return day, I wited in lin a good 20 minutes when finally, one of the employees took the keys for my drop off. But without communicating to me, he basically handed off the completion of the contract to another employee. In other words, the customer never knows whats going on. I had to ask twice "When could I leave" after I handed the keys over Finally, an upset customer walked in on the day I was dropping off. The customer and an employee began to discuss an issue very loudly. The employee at the time was helping another customer. The employee decided to argue with the customer for what seemed to be an eternity. Meanwhile , everyone else in line had to wait and listen to this argument. I called this enterprise because it was the closest one, I reserved a car and they said "come right over and your reserved vehicle will be ready for you" I asked if it's a sure thing because I was going to walk there they repeated the same statement. I got there and was told "we don't have any vehicles and we're closing in 40 minutes but feel free to sit and wait to see if anyone returns a vehicle but we cannot guarantee anything" they guaranteed it over the phone and it was just a complete waste of time. I always rent from this location. My most recent rental was the day before Thanksgiving and renting before a holiday can be very stressful but the stuff was amazing. Talking to me making me feel comfortable. I did have to wait a little while till my car was ready but I was getting updates every few minutes as to when the car will be ready. If you can avoid this location please do there is a manager named Carlos very rude! So I got in a no fault accident and my insurance was paying for the rental while my car got repaired. They stopped paying them because they reached the limit they can cover. I am a current victim of Fraud because the person I toke my car to apparently was scammer and fled because people was looking for him for money they got scammed by him too. Long story short I gave Carlos the body shop information so they can send them the bill while my car is being repaired. So he didn't do that! He instead charged the card on file which was mines!!!!!! Left my account at zero. Now at this point police is involved for reports of fraud activity. He has no Customer Service at so ever he doesn't even want to listen to anything I told him. He also Threaten me to report the rental stolen. Like how ridiculously is that? You cant report a car stolen that you have received payment from and you handed over the keys to the customer. Oh and by the way Carlos been in contact with the body shop people and had made arrangements to get all the money they charged me on my card plus the current balance so he was well aware that I am a mother of 3 no going to be car less for god knows how long. Until my insurance picks up my car and makes the repairs newly with one of there listed body shops. I feel like Carlos could have gave me more closure and spoke to me more professionally and delicately giving to the fact that he knows what my situation is at the moment or gave me alternative on the rental issue like send the body shop into collects or something but he didn't. I rented from this location this Month of August for 4 days to travel to Orlando with the family. Customer Service was Ok, but I do have a complaint. As I drove to Orlando my daughter was in the car behind me folllowing us. My daughter once we were like 2 1/2 hrs away told me I was driving with an expire decal from June. I called Customer Service and told them about the decal. I was just told not to worry if I do get pulled over to provide the police the pink slip I was provided and have them call Enterprise as the decal was order but they were behind on puting them on their cars. I was nervous driving as soon as I found out I had an expire tag. When we got to Orlando I had to park the car at the house and couldnt drive the car as we didnt want to get stop by police and waste time while they call enterprise and find out why the tag is expire. I was upset as I was charge for full price, plus insurance. If I paid $$$ is for me to use the car not to have it parked. It would have been nice that they would mentioned this since the beginning that the tag was expired and not let me drive way not knowing and then to find out if I get pulled over by the police. I would have made a fool of my self. That was NOT nice. Enterprise train your Agents to provide Full Customer Service if there is an issue with the car rental. read more
