    Rented a vehicle for 2 weeks from HOU; the online reservation was easy and Enterprise sent a couple of reminders prior to the pickup date. Shuttle to the offsite location was nice and the entire process was smooth. I reserved for a compact but was given a cross-over. It's not terrible but wasn't as gas efficient. There are no mechanical issues on the vehicle and I only wish the windows are tinted especially in the insane Texas heat! Return was also smooth but the ride back to the terminal was a bit scary. The driver cut in front of the ambulance even when its siren was on. I find it frustrating as every single second counts when the ambulance is en route to save lives. Imagine that person is your family, friends, colleagues, etc. Hope Enterprise will refresh their drivers when it comes to public safety. I understand the driver has a job to do but every citizen has to do our part too!

    Happy Thanksgiving I went yesterday there cause I made a reservation for that particular enterprise location, due to the ones closer to me showing they were sold out. Well when I get there they say I couldn't use a Debit Card. It has to be a major credit card. I didn't know that. I asked them please cause I needed to pick up my Blind daughter in Austin due to the person who was supposed to bring her couldn't due to her car breaking down. So I felt really sad that I wasn't going to pick up my daughter. I begged them to please help me get a car. One of the young men told me I could go to another branch they had cars 2 hours ago, really 2 hrs ago I told him. You really think there is still cars. So he called and said they could help me there. So I went and Thanks be to GOD the lady's there were very nice and very helpful. I got a car to pick up my daughter. Thank You!

    I have used this branch a few times and have never had any good experience. This time I reached my limit. I rented a car from this branch on 8/11 and want to see if I could return the car to a closer branch. I called the number that is printed on the contract. I have a screenshot of the contract that clearly shows the number (833) 511-1748. I knew that this is not the direct number to the location. I called the 833 number *three times* and specifically asked them to connect me to the local branch. Each time that my call got transferred to the Hobby branch I got cut off after a long hold period. The Hobby branch was in no mood to answer calls. Saturday night (8/12) I returned the car and told the assistant branch manager, some guy named DeVante, about this issue. He quickly got aggressive and hostile, not something you would expect from a supposed assistant manager. He told me that the corporate does not have the branch number and I had to call the number on the business card that was given to me during the initial check out. I don't think DeVante realizes how stupid he sounded claiming that the corporate doesn't have the branch number! For a moment, let's assume DeVante was right. What does this tell you about Enterprise?! They give you a number on the contract for contact but make it impossible to actually get in touch with them when you need them??? DeVante did not seem like a person I could trust to do the right thing so I asked for receipt and wanted to make sure I got it before I left. He supposedly emailed me the receipt and told me to wait 5-10 min. I waited 10 minute and didn't get it. When I asked for a printed one, he said the printer was broken. (Later, right in front of me, he told a lady co-worker that the branch is remodeling so the printer is not on, a different story than what he told me.) Finally, after 2 more emails and waiting another 20 minutes, I got something from Enterprise which looked exactly like my original contract and not a receipt. Enterprise can afford to hire ill-mannered people like DeVante simply because they are so big and have little competition and they don't care. Enterprise is up there with the airlines when it comes to crappy service.

I've rented at this location about 5 or 6x and I promise you, Maliah is the only competent and kind worker here. I fear the others are some of the laziest and the most blatantly rude workers I've encountered in a long time. They will greet you but do not like answering questions OR the phone. Like I dead had to wait 1.5 hrs once and the phone rang like more than 15 times and they didn't answer once. BOOK ON THEIR WEBSITE ONLY!! Do not use their app or a third party site as they will overcharge you and do not provide you with a full list of Easirents policies that will also lead to more charges lol. MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! If you want to pay the actual price you saw when you booked then you have to come with your own FULL COVERAGE insurance and deny the toll pass, which is like $20+/per day. If you only have liability insurance then they'll charge you like $15/per day vs $35/per day if you have no insurance. Also, if you deny the toll pass make sure you set your maps app to avoid tolls and do your very best to not get on the express way (the feeders take a little getting used to so pay close attention to the road signs) because they will charge you $25 for going on it PLUS $25 every single time you get on- it's NOT per day‼ The shuttle is super unreliable from the airport to the rental location but when it comes, the drivers are pretty friendly and it's not a long drive to the hotel/rental location. I suggest getting a ride share if you're on a serious time crunch. Pro tip, call and request the shuttle as SOON as the flight attendants say you can use your phone lol. From the rental location back to the airport is wayyyy smoother. It runs on a tighter schedule. I can't remember his name right now, but the young male driver with the locs is always smiles lol. The actual rental location is dingy and could use a lot of tlc. From the chairs, to the decorations, to the smell- yeahh they leave a lot to desired BUT the hotel attached is usually pretty clean and that's a major plus since their bathroom is in the hotel. Now, the cars are probably going to be dirty lol so be sure to bring a travel size pack of Clorox or Lysol wipes and a plastic bag to possibly collect trash. I've also gotten a couple that didn't have a working phone port or don't have a usb port at all just the c-type, which is obviously out of their control but something to note so you don't end up having to buy a new phone charger. If the car is noticeably dirty (inside or out), complain and ask them to allow you to return it with half a tank less than you got it or on empty if you have a booking longer than 4 days. They're usually pretty good about being accommodating because I think they all know the cleaner sucks or that the cars aren't getting cleaned at all. Oh and sometimes they get overbooked and won't notify you even if you have a reservation so I suggest booking another reservation that won't charge you if you don't show up. So yeah just come in with low expectations or pray Malliah is working lmaoo. It's cheap as hell but it's literally because they wouldn't last charging anymore than they do! Happy renting :))

The only reason I haven't walked out is because I paid ahead of time for this car. We have a reservation! We booked through Armed Forces Vacation Travel! This is how active duty military are treated? The office is filthy. The staff need proper training on how to handle customers and the extremely long wait times. They are slow and rude! This has truly been a nightmare after traveling all the way from Hawaii.

I don't know if there was something crazy going on at the time but the wait was over an hour to get a car. I made the mistake of selecting dealers choice and got a Tesla -_-. The car was dirty with spots on the roof and a peeling steering wheel. I ended up getting charged $15 for not bringing the car charged to the same level I received it, but I got the car at 99%. How was I supposed to drive to the airport at 100% and only use 1% before drop off? I wish they offered some sort of charging on site to avoid stuff like this. I will say the staff were friendly but pretty nonchalant in terms of the wait. I wouldn't use Avis again.

It used to be alright. Now I see they have joined forces with Budget and Payless and I feel like the service reflects that of a low budget rental company. Getting in and out is annoying. Only rentals or shuttles can drive in. If you are getting dropped off or picked up, your ride has to wait outside where there are tons of no parking signs. The staff here mostly all have an attitude. Good luck complaining about anything because they will just roll their eyes and you and say there is nothing they can do. My last rental was a 12 passenger van for a family trip. Online it says a Ford Transit or similar. They get you with that similar part. I've rented many Transits. They're spacious and have all the modern things like an auxiliary port and a screen display for Apple play or whatever you use. What I got was what felt like an old Chevy creeper van. So old, they had cigarette lighters. There was nothing to plug in a phone or even a Bluetooth connection. Just a radio, not even a CD player. I walked right back into the office to ask for something else and they just basically laughed at me and said I have no other options. The vehicle also had alot of physical wear on tear on the outside and well as inside. Did it get us from point A to point B? Yes. But I expect a newer vehicle when renting. I will do my best to stay clear of any Avis Rent A Cars in the future. This location especially. On to the next!

Not wanting to inconvenience my family due to them possibly being busy, I decided it would be best to rent a car. I was able to make a reservation for a car while exiting the airport, which I found to be very convenient. When I came out the terminal, the shuttle for the car rental place was already outside and ready to take me to the location. Once I got to the rental location, I approached the desk and gave the customer service rep my ID and reservation number. Once the rep found my info, I was told that I was too early for the reservation and needed to wait. No problem...understandable. After about 20 minutes, I was allowed to come back up to the desk to process my rental. The rep I dealt with was pleasant and gave me a good recommendation on somewhere to eat. Everything was going well until it came time to authorize my car rental purchase. Once I inserted my card, everything was confirmed and approved. By the way, please make sure you have a credit card for the rental. I saw at least two people come in with debit cards not be allowed to get their rental. Here's where the issue occurred. Somewhere in the rep's process, it was discovered that I had a rental car out in their system. I confirmed to the rep that I have a rental through Avis back home that I was using for business purposes. Once this was discovered, a manager was alerted of the matter. The manager stated the only way I could get the rental would be if I had another driver on the vehicle. Since I was traveling by myself, I was not allowed to get the rental. No problem...understandable. Seeing that the authorization on my card went through, I asked the rep when the authorization would be removed so that I could attempt to rent from another company. The rep stated that they didn't process anything so nothing should've went through. Houston...we have a problem and it's not understandable. I advised the rep there absolutely was a charge that went through and I needed to know when it would be gone. They stated it should be cleared after midnight. Unfortunately, the authorization is still on my card and I wound up utilizing rideshare companies the whole weekend to get around. It was a great inconvenience to what I wanted to do. I don't know the process for getting reservations done, but something needs to be instituted that prevents this from happening to anyone else again. I probably could've went to another place, but my time had already been soured by the experience. I hope this finds the right department so that this step could be implemented.

I asked for a copy of the contract I was signing and was told, "This is Payless!" The car smelled like marijuana with a fragrance overspray. I drove with the rear windows down. The windshield was so dirty I could hardly see out of it. There was no wiper fluid! I had to pour water on it while the wipers were working. At the return, I was told that I would get a final receipt via email. Its been 4 days and I haven't received anything.

I found this is hilarious because if I was from another state I wouldn't be required to provide these documentations , or be limited on mileage. After going back and forth with the manager and calling the customer service line, nothing was resolved. Customer service were just as incompetent as the people at the location. This is absurd because, once again, none of it is listed on their website. So now I'm having to file a dispute with my credit card company because I was never given a rental car due to foolish requirements and priceline not wanting to take ownership. I will never return back to this unprofessional, incompetent, and Shady business. They should not be in business.
