I have rented from this Enterprise before, but rented again for the weekend so wanted to leave a review. We had an emergency and had to drive a few states away. I booked this past Friday night to pick up a vehicle on Saturday and drop off Monday (today). We were running around like mad and I got to Enterprise like 15 minutes before they closed on Saturday and it was packed. I felt so bad, but I was so appreciative. I booked an SUV for $145 for 2 days and there was a $300 deposit. We waited around 20 minutes which isn't too bad and I had filled out a lot ahead of time online. The guys there were all really nice and we were on our way after checking the vehicle. It was the last SUV they had and there was only a 1/4 tank of gas, but they let us know we didn't have to return it full. I took photos just in case because I've had miscommunications before or dealt with different people while returning so I always take my own photos of the gas tank, scratches, etc. to prevent issues upon return. Car was great and pretty clean; ran well with no issues. We returned it today and process was super easy and the guy in the parking lot was nice. Everything was sorted and it looks like my deposit is already pending; very happy with them. read more

Even though we put in for an SUV, the guy who helped us was very polite and asked us if it had to be an SUV. Of course we didn't need an SUV and he got us a Toyota 4 door car. The Cassat Av Jacksonville FL Enterprise did not give me a comparable vehicle that my Insurance Co contracted with Enterprise in good faith to do. They mixed up my rental with someone else. Then told me they did me a favor by lowering the price on a Nissan Kick to meet my Ins Co's $40. I've never heard of a Kick so once I looked at the Blue Box I cringed. But in looking over the vehicle it had not been properly washed. The Enterprise Rep offered to have me wait while they rewashed the vehicle. I of course said No. I opened the door and the cheap black cloth seats were stained white (I can only imagine). The idiot Enterprise Rep tried to tell me once again it was clean. I've never been lied to, cheated and robbed like that by Enterprise before. By the time I got home my skin was crawling. Dirty Dirty Dirty. All the while the idiot at Enterprise is telling me I'm lucky to get this box, not even comparable to my luxury vehicle as contracted by my Insurance Company; and a filthy, dirty, cringing, sickening box he said was clean and that was exactly what I should be getting. My Insurance Company has contracted with Enterprise to provide a comparable vehicle that is clean and service that is impeccable. Hahahaha. Cassat Av Enterprise is ruining their Company's Reputation and of course I've lodged a complaint with my Insurance Co regarding Enterprises' lack of comparable vehicles and lack of service. No way should any Insurance Company ever enter into a contract with Enterprise since they are not what they represent to be. Ditch Enterprise!!! An aside note: I've always rented with Enterprise in New England. They have always provided excellent service, been responsive and most importantly have maintained highly effective customer service principles. read more

If not for the fact that my company has a corporate rate set up with enterprise I would not rent here. Typically, I wait 45 min to an hour despite having a reservation, the gas tank is never full, I've had to switch cars due to low tire pressure...the list can go on. Always leave irritated or disappointed. read more

The A/C in my Acura is temperamental and we had to go down to Orlando to pick up my cousin at the airport. We decided on a rental for better mileage and a cooler ride. Our representative, Tweetie, was super sweet and efficient! She was totally patient and really accommodated us and we were out of there in less than half an hour with a 2014 White 4 Door Toyota Corolla. She was fantastic and got us a great car! This has been the worst Rental car experience I have had with this company. I definitely will be seeking service through other places.. first off the car was nasty, stains everywhere, I didnt care about the stains for the most part bc I had somewhere to be but as I started looking else where like the doors were not sterilized nor cleaned properly. the car a very bad odor that was stuck in me and my kids clothes.. then i tried to drop off vehicle same day I picked up and they were closed.. was told I would be charged for 3 more days bc they were not going to reopen until then. was also told I would be charged $500 to drop off at another location. if I would have let the vehicle at the location I still would be charged plus any damages. I'm really trying to figure out whats the point of having a drop box. bc I'm getting ripped off either way. very poor customer service from the employees that was walking out rushing to get to her vehicle. not to mention there was no update, email or notification that they would be closing early. read more

Two weeks ago I got the call from Nissan that my airbags were affected by the Takata recall. When I went into the dealership for service I found out I had a recall on both my passenger AND driver side airbag, and my driver side replacement wouldn't be available until SPRING of 2018. They sent me to Enterprise for a loaner and I think I was probably a little in shock still when Ben first helped me. Even though the place was busy he didn't make me feel rushed and took the time to try and turn the very unpleasant reason I needed a rental car more enjoyable. It actually helped a little. I had to come back in a few days later because after I got the car back home (which drove and looked great) I noticed an unpleasant smell which I honestly should have reported right away but in the craziness of the day (and the really short drive) I overlooked. When I brought it back the place was the busiest I've ever seen an Enterprise, and I was helped by Ben's manager (I believe?) Quincy who was just as wonderful. Now I couldn't be happier with the loaner I have! Really, Quincy and Ben at Enterprise salvaged what is a nightmare for someone like me who drives about two hours a day to get to work. Seriously the most dysfunctional operation I have ever seen. Reserved my car online - went to pick it up because I couldn't get an answer in their phone to try to get them to pick me up. (Had to Uber). I get there - 3 or 4 customers sitting around - 2 people at the counter then one walks away leaving one very slow young girl who looks dazed and confused. I've been checked in and then seated because there are apparently two customers in front of me. We wait and wait - all the wile dazed is answering phone calls as they come in - one of which I'm sure was a 10 min call from what sounded like an angry customer. We waited more- dazed is now searching for angry customers paperwork - ?? I had a reservation - just give me my car?! Nope - not at enterprise. I finally gave up and walked to the counter and said cancel my reservation. "That's fine" she says. SMH. I've always heard enterprise was the worst. Now I know for sure- it is. read more

This was the biggest waste of time and they are from the Stone Age. They don't use debt cards yet they are the most direct way to someone's bank. They what credit card to drive you to paying interest to your card company above there charges. They tell you one thing on the phone and then another when you get there. Their cars were not In Good condition and we kept saying we don't look at it if it is under a certain size dings or dents but we all know when you return a cat they count every little thing. Complete chaos and who is even working here? Walked in around 10:40 (with a reservation) and there was one person working at the desk helping a woman. In the lobby sitting was over 20 people. I stood in line to be helped. Stood there for over 30 minutes with not even a how can we help you. Don't worry they did take the time to answer every phone call coming through and tell the people to hold. The line behind me grew and we didn't move because the one worker was still helping the same person. Right when I finally got helped they said it will be a wait for my vehicle. I asked how long and they said maybe 30 minutes!!! Ridiculous! Finally around 11:15 2 other workers showed up one putting people in cars and another taking people's keys. Can you believe people have been sitting here for over an hour to return their vehicle! Don't come here unless you feel like spending a day in line. read more

The Enterprise on Cassett Avenue is a pleasant surprise. It looks like a small location but they have a ton of vehicles there half the time there's so many they can't even fit them all on the lot. I think maybe they must do a lot of work for the insurance companies out of that location. When you walk in the door all the employees are smiling and friendly. This is the difference between a location like this and an airport location. Most of the time when you go to an airport rental car location the people are pleasant but not really friendly and appear to be annoyed or overworked or tired but at this location people are smiling happy and so accommodating. I don't know if they advertise it but they price match the rates from the other locations and thank God for not having to drive all the way to the airport to pick up a rental car. They even have this deal where they'll come pick you up where you are and bring you to the place to rent your car if you need to. Or use that once or twice but because I have a friend who owns the strip mall next door I just drive there and leave my car most of the time. If you need a car at the last minute, they can always manage to get one and if you want to special car for some reason they can get that too. This week I was going to Orlando for seminar and I was going to rent a Lincoln MK Z from Avis at the airport which requires a 25 to 30 minute drive to the airport to pick it up. When I contacted the manager Quincy over at the enterprise he was happy to match the price and had different kind of selection of cars and I ended up getting a Camaro convertible of all things. Not anything I would normally have picked off the rack but wow it's pretty fun. My conference was over Sunday and I call Monday to see if I can keep it for a few extra hours so I can take the top down and go to lunch and they were happy to oblige. I have to say I've had the frequent user corporate card at Avis for over 25 years and I've always been happy with them however enterprise is going to be my new home for renting cars in Jacksonville. read more

My car rental was a courtesy of an auto dealer service. This location was friendly, but slow compared to other locations. Do not go around lunch time. There were many employees congregated in the rear of the office, but it took them over 15 minutes to come out front. By then, there were four people in line. They took their time. But , I came there for a car, and Enterprise cars never fail. The car was clean on the inside, but dirty and full of bugs on the outside. Plus, they gave me a black on black car in Florida. The lot was full of cars, but I was told this was the only one available. No big deal. But it shouldn't take over 40 minutes to pick up a car. So.BOTTOM LINE. Enterprise cars are great, their SERVICE counter needs some training, or a better manager. read more

One. Do not hit on me when I come into your place of business. This is extremely unprofessional. Two. After saying you will waive certain fees do not then later over charge me. Three. When giving me a car do not put it through the car wash so I don't notice tiny scuffs that I then will have to pay $275 to fix them. Four. When I call to correct the over charge do not say to me "Let me be clear with you." Or "This one time I will fix it." Enterprise is great. This location is awful. read more

I was in a rental car for three months, while my car was being fixed. I returned the rental car after hours, took pictures and videos. The next day enterprise called claiming the car was wrecked. They sent me pix of the small "skuff" marks. The pix I took the car is in the parking lot. The pix they took the car was in grass. My pix do not have the marks. They are charging me. I did research this and apparently, enterprise is known for "dent and scratch" scam. They had a lawsuit before. PLEASE BE CAUTIOUS! Eventhough I took pix I still ahve to pay these charges. A couple months ago, I was rear ended badly. Parts for my car are still on back order, so I am having to rent a car. My insurance is completely covering the rental for me, so I don't see why I am having such an issue getting a decent car. At the beginning of August when I first went into Enterprise to receive my rental, insurance and a lady over the phone for Enterprise informed me I would be getting a car comparable to my own car - a Volkswagen Jetta. They told me i would likely get at Camry or Sonata. However, Enterprise told me all they had in stock was a Chevy Spark, which since my accident, I definitely do not feel safe in. I expressed my concerns and was ignored and basically told I could take this or wait for a better option to arrive. I did in fact wait at the store for another three hours, watching customers return cars and watching the parking lot full up with more options. I was still told this was all i could get. I was firm about not feeling safe in this vehicle, but then the lady changed her "out of stock" story to saying my insurance would only cover a Spark because of my age. Bull crap! My insurance company told me I'd be driving a comparable car to my Jetta. I took the car and have been driving it ever since because i have no other option, without any luck of switching out vehicles for something safe. I am so disappointed with Enterprise. I have been a loyal customer of Enterprise for almost 2 decades, but I WILL NOT be back to this location or any other Enterprise location. The customer service is terrible, so bad that I was actually lied to about their rental policy and they refused to help me find a vehicle I could rent and were very rude. I was shocked because I had never had an experience like this before so, trusting Enterprise like I always have, I went to another location down the road. I was treated even worse at the Cassat Ave. location and was turned away without a vehicle. I am a businessman, not some bum off the street, but I was treated as such. I rented my car from the Cassatt Ave. Jacksonville, FL location and was very stressed due to my car needing to go in the shop for repair. Because Enterprise does not do a credit check they do require you to have a credit card for a deposit "hold" until you return the car. If you do NOT have a credit card they require a utility bill in your name that shows your bills are paid up. Some of this was a bit stressful to me but with the help of the gentleman named Amiyn and the two of us working together to get me in a car everything ended up being just fine. I had to call the poor guy almost every day to update him on the status of my car etc but he was ALWAYS professional and very nice and helpful. I work in customer service and know how important it is to get a good review because you go above and beyond to help your customers. Amiyn did just that! read more
