Not sure if he just did not feel like working that day. Or if he was intentionally being unhelpful and just did not want to rent a car to me because that is DEFINITELY the vibe I got. After checking me in, I proceed to pay and I hand him my Debit card. I was told by the man behind the counter that my Equifax credit score was not approved to pay with a debit card. My mother was the one who had picked me up and took me there. So when I got back in the car I told her why I couldn't get the rental. I am not going to argue or be surprised about the fact that my credit score was denied because I know it needs work. My mother then offered to go in and put the rental in her name, because she has a Equifax score of 760. And there's no way she would be denied. We then go back in this place. My mother then explains that she would put the rental in her name and add me as a driver. We were advised that it would be a $15 additional charge to do so which was fine. He then tells my mother the cost of the rental where she proceeds to pay with a debit card as well(we are not fans of credit cards). She was also advised that there would be a credit check to pay with a debit card. She was of course completely fine with this. We were then advised that her credit score was denied as well. That is when we both knew there was an issue somewhere with this place. And that clearly is fair customer service. My mother then asked him was he sure, and was he serious because she literally never gets turned down for ANYTHING because her credit is so great. I only came to them because of the other reviews, and because they were open during the holiday. But next time I will just follow my first instinct and stick with Hertz for my rental needs. Even if it means I have to wait a day or two to get in.

We requested a vehicle that was comparable to the one that we had to take to the body shop for repair. We were given a new SUV (Buick Enclave ) that was both clean on the inside and the outside.
