    Worst Experience Ever. Seems to be a common theme with their reviews…read more They won't tell you an honest price ahead of time. Furthermore, they are unable to compute the maximum number of days you can rent when insurance has a maximum coverage amount. I wish I could give them a negative 5 star rating. Unfortunately, the lowest I can go is one star. I had a recent car rental while my vehicle was in the shop for repair. The repair was taking longer than expected. My insurance company has a maximum that they will pay. I mentioned this several times to the agent. I asked repeatedly how many days I could rent and still stay under my maximum. The number of days told to me was incorrect. If they could've just given me an accurate daily cost I could easily compute the number of days myself. The employees can't seem to do simple math. There excuse is that they couldn't know the total cost until the vehicle was turned in. Apparently, being able to know how long I could rent a vehicle with $1200 was impossible for them to calculate. The daily rate was also wrong. Since the amount I was to be charged was incorrect I asked them to wave the extra amount. They were unwillingly to do that. I then called Hertz customer service and found out that I been charged too much. No surprise there, they are simply incompetent. This did reduce my out of pocket cost, but still I owed money out of pocket. I'm OK, with them not knowing how to do their job. All I ask is that they admit their mistake and waive the extra cost. They were unwilling to do that. They've lost me as a customer forever. My experience with Enterprise and Avis has been much better.

It was clean and smelled good and was ready right when I arrived to pick it up. She was very friendly and helpful. I will absolutely make sure to come see her again when I'm in town next time.

    I have been renting from this specific Avis location for about 15 years. Over that time I have…read moreobserved a degradation from a caring, efficient, professional business to one that has no intention of providing the service paying customers should expect in today's free market economy. I have received better service in downtown Afghanistan than I did from this location. I will not return. I placed my reservation weeks in advance. Upon arrival, the car I reserved was on site but hadn't been cleaned or serviced (just like my previous rental from this location). The employee inside who was babysitting someone's children, went out and grabbed a hand full of trash out of the vehicle, processed my paperwork and sent me on my way...in a dirty vehicle. I navigated the huge potholes in the parking lot and headed off on a 1300 mile trip. I got to the south side of Louisville, Kentucky and hit a huge metal pin in the road and flatted the right rear tire. I proceeded to unload everything from the rear hatch and found that the jack was non-existent. I called the roadside assistance that Avis offers and they set me up with an appointment. Two hours later, a guy from Deliverance pulls up in a 20 year old, unmarked, beat up vehicle. He did a decent job changing the tire and then led me to Big O tire so I could get the tire fixed. A week later, I hit something in Florida that sliced the left rear tire and I had to wait an extra day to get the exact tire back on the car. I could not return on time and had to extend at twice the rate that I had paid up to that point. I was also told that I could not return the vehicle if the return location was closed...and I was charged an extra day for that inconvenience which was caused by Avis and particular locations lack of care and attention to detail.
