    I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise (I picked up the car in Brownsburg)…read more I picked up a rental around 8:20am on 3/16. When it began snowing, I noticed the windshield wipers were heavily damaged and not functioning properly (the rubber was peeled off halway down the wiper). After a medical appointment later that morning, the vehicle would not start at all and became completely unresponsive. I contacted roadside assistance and was told my only option was to wait for a tow truck and then take an Uber to another location for a replacement. When I explained that I did not feel safe taking an Uber alone, I was told there were no other options. As a result, I was stranded for nearly two hours after a fasted medical procedure, without access to food, and had to rely on a family member to come pick me up. I was unable to use the rental at all and lost an entire workday. What's especially concerning is that after the vehicle was towed, no one from Enterprise followed up to check on me, confirm whether I still needed a vehicle, or even provide clarity on where the car was taken. I was effectively left stranded with no resolution or support. Since then, my own follow-up and resolution process has been equally concerning. I was told an area manager would contact me 3/17 when I called customer service at 9:30am. It is now 3/18 at 1pm, but I have not received that call. The rental is not visible in my account, I have no confirmation that it has been closed out, and I still have a full pending charge on my card. I also reached out again through Enterprise's support channel and my chat was ended without resolution, with instructions to simply wait 3-5 business days. This is not a normal situation and should not be handled as one. At this point, I am still waiting for: Confirmation that the rental has been properly closed Release of the pending charge on my card A clear resolution and appropriate compensation This experience reflects serious issues with both vehicle maintenance and customer support. I expected significantly better accountability and follow-through.

    I've been a renter of enterprise for years. Renting from the Carmel location over a couple dozen…read moretimes between my wife and I. We moved to Westfield recently and decided to switch to the Westfield location. In the past when we rented a vehicle. If we decided to stay longer than expected. This was never an issue. We'd always have to pay a deposit and this amount covered the car for easily 3-4 extra days. It's day 3 and we got a call from enterprise. We informed them that we had decided to stay longer with family on Thanksgiving and would be headed back tonight or tomorrow and would drop it off when we arrived and would pay any difference we owe. Instead of being professional. The young gentleman was very rude. Telling me if it wasn't returned by tomorrow they'd be contacting the risk department for theft. Seriously? I highly recommend you go anywhere else. They're very rude and clearly have no interest in serving their customers. They're a money hungry company with zero respect for a paying customer. In the past I always return my vehicle. I always pay in full and any fees charged post rental. We always paid. To be treated this way for deciding to continue to visit family longer during the holidays and a paid for the service. I'm expected to be treated with decency. Instead I'm met with hostility and threats. Puts a ruin on the holiday season. I will never use this company again and have filed a very long and detailed grievance with the corporate office on this experience. I highly recommend you choose the Carmel location over Westfield. They're not in the business for customers. Only for profits and will ruin your holiday if it means they make a buck. Update after drop off. Took us two days to travel from Florida to Indiana with the vehicle. The entire time stressed beyond belief it would shut down in route. Towed. Or worse. I'd be arrested for a vehicle I lawfully rented and was reported as stolen by enterprise. 3 days before our deposit ran out Final count was 6 days rented. Thats $75 a day. So total was $450. We paid $380 down. So by drop off date. 3 days after they called threatening with reporting it stolen and still covered for 2 more days at that point by the deposit. All we owe in final total was about $75. And that's because we couldn't arrive home till almost midnight Sunday. To make it worse our family was hit with strep throat and covid. Took us over 40 hours to drive a 16 hour drive from Florida to Indiana. We had to stop at two hotels to rest for hours because our kids were vomiting and sick as dogs. Our youngest 6 year old is autistic non verbal. And was even more upset by her sickness. So this only added to the stress of the ride home. I can't explain how horrible of an experience this was. Ruined our Thanksgiving vacation we had planned for months. If you want or expect to have a nice vacation. Dont rent from here.

Manager got me into a familiar car, which made the process go smoother. Car was full or gas when picked up and I left it with a full tank. We'll pleased!!

Called Enterprise, reserved a car and arranged pick up at our motel. Reservation was for 8AM, at 7AM someone called to tell us that they had no cars available. We spent the next 4 hours going in circles while multiple people said we are working on it and never got a single call back from any of them. They just informed us that there is a car 20 miles from here but they don't do pick-up and they can't bring the car to the local office. Also they just informed us that they don't do pick-ups out of this local office. No this is their mess I will not pay for a taxi or other. Let them send a car wash guy to pick us up. So our broken vehicle is 10 miles from here, we missed the open slot the mechanic had available, so not sure when he can get us in. We still haven't found a rental car, will probably have to spend another night here. We are still 700 miles from home. Not one of the people we have spoken to at Enterprise gave a rats big fat butt about fixing their circus. We got a whole lot of "I'll have the regional manager call you", which has not happened.
