Horrible experience! 1 star is to much. Reserved a car online and got the confirmation number. Went by the location after they opened to ask for pickup service to be picked up and told no problem. It was added to reservation. Pickup time came and went and no one showed up. Called 15 minutes after they were no show. Spoke to an extremely rude gentleman who said they were busy and could not come. Told me I needed to figure out how to get there. Something didn't feel right so I asked if there was going to be a problem with me getting my reserved was told no it's fine. Spent money on Uber to get there to be told there are no cars available. That just cause I had a reservation doesn't mean there is a vehicle available. He was extremely rude. Called corporate and was told she would pass the complaint to the "management team" and now 2 days later nothing from them. Will NEVER use Enterprise or recommend them again. read more

1 Star - Completely Unreliable and Zero Accountability I am extremely disappointed with Enterprise Car Rental and will never use them again. I booked a van for a one-way trip from Lakeland, Florida to Illinois well in advance, specifically to avoid last-minute issues for a long drive with my family. I chose Enterprise because I received banking perks and upgrades, which made them seem like the safer, more reliable option. Instead, the day before my trip, I received a phone call informing me that they did not have a vehicle available at all. I was told that management instructed staff to call customers and cancel reservations because there were no vehicles, essentially admitting that reservations mean nothing. Let me be clear. This reservation was made far in advance. Enterprise had plenty of notice that I needed a van. Nothing was unexpected about this trip. Yet no vehicle was secured, no contingency plan was in place, and no effort was made to honor the reservation. To make matters worse, their only suggestion was that I drive an hour to Tampa Airport to try to find a vehicle, despite the fact that when I checked online, nothing was available there either. So not only did they cancel my reservation at the last possible moment, they sent me on a wild goose chase with no actual solution. There was no assistance, no rebooking support, no alternatives, and no sense of urgency or accountability. Just a shrug and a statement that this came from the top down. Because of Enterprise's failure, I was forced to scramble the day before a long-distance trip to find another rental company, exactly the situation I booked early to avoid. If you need reliability, especially for a one-way or long-distance trip, do not trust Enterprise. Their reservations are meaningless, their customer service is unhelpful, and they take zero responsibility when they completely drop the ball. I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

If I could give you all a zero for helpfulness, customer satisfaction and timeliness I would. This isn't our first enterprise fiasco. We rented a vehicle from another enterprise and of course they didn't have the vehicle we had under reservation. We need a specific vehicle and unfortunately they didn't have it. (Yet again and again). So they send us to this location which is very very far away from our home at rush hour in the pouring rainstorm. As we are driving down the road the manager called and said the vehicle wasn't rentable to us since we had it planned to drop off Saturday at 4. He then says that their location isn't open at that time. (What??? Really???) We are both like then bring it to the other location... and the manager named Jordan says he can't won't do that. At this point we are just not happy... it is torrentially raining and flooding on the streets and this manager is now saying he can't do it. He then hangs up on me. I call back and he says he won't rent to us. What's wrong with enterprise ? What happened to customer service? Very unprofessional way of doing business with zero compassion for customers. I rented a car from this location because of my car was being repaired. My insurance pays up to $30/day. When I went to get my rental the manager offered me to pick out a vehicle. 20 days later I find out he didn't disclose the cars he offered were $10 over the insurance limit. Now I'm $220 out of pocket. When I called the location manager to discuss, he (Jordan Salmon) was unapologetic and argumentative. If yo must rent from Enterprise because of insurance, go to another location! read more

my experience had not been the best because I tried to rent a car twice through them within the past two weeks but I was told they had no cars available when i go to pickup..Make Sure You Are Certain They Do Before You go because they will leave you there stranded! Yesterday I returned my car (finally after getting one for the weekend) close to closing so because of that no one could take me home, fine but i encountered an elderly couple who was picked up to rent but since they weren't verified in the system they couldn't get a car & the guy told them "sorry we are closing" leaving them to figure things out stranded after they were picked up, wow! thankfully an employee who works on the cars in the back was leaving and gave us all a ride out of the kindness of his heart i didn't get his name.. i do want to say Dominique is another great employee there though that helped make my experience better she was helpful & pleasant when renting my car! read more

My insurance company set me up with an Enterprise rental while my car was being repaired. My dealership called them to let them know I needed to be picked up. She was glad it was Enterprise, saying they were great to work with . She was very right. Someone from this location came to pick me up from the dealership. He was very patient while I moved car seats from my car to the pick up car and was nice to my toddler. When we got to location I was greeted right as I walked in and helped right away. They had everything set up for me and I was ready to go in a few minutes. The staff were all very friendly. The car I got was super clean, in fact I'm pretty sure it was brand new since it had so few miles on it. When I came back to return the car it was the same. Greeted as soon as I walked in and helped right away. The guy that helped me was super nice and got me checked out quickly. They had someone drive me to the car dealership where my car was. I made a reservation 2 months in advance, and received confirmation of my reservation, in preparation for our family vacation. When I tried to pick up my reserved vehicle, the young man acknowledged that I have a reservation, but said "sorry, we don't have your vehicle". After some discussion, the best he would tell me is "call tomorrow, maybe we can find you a Premium SUV". But I had a confirmed reservation! I did not receive the courtesy to help find the reserved vehicle in a different location. Just "sorry, we don't have your vehicle". When asked what do you plan to do to help me? I got "sorry sir, we do not have your vehicle". Very poor customer service. Update: I did contact care@enterprise.com and the email reply was an excuse about......maybe the vehicle you reserved needed serviced......... I feel that the point is being missed!! The only function that Enterprise has, once the reservation, and subsequent confirmation, is to make sure they have the vehicle available. But.....had I been notified ahead of the scheduled pick up, that it will not be available at that location. AND viable options provided, I might have have been mildly disappointed with the inconvenience. That is NOT what took place. But when you expect Enterprise to do what is expected, and I show up to pick up the reserved vehicle, to get "sorry, we don't have it". With NO attempt to right the situation. I reserved a vehicle online to be picked up on Saturday at 12:00 pm from the S. Florida Ave. location. I called the day before and confirmed my reservation. I showed up a little after 12:00 pm and they were closed. At no time, during the reservation or when I called to confirm did they state that the vehicle had to be picked up before noon. We now have no 8 passenger vehicle to use like we needed. We called reservations and they had no other 8 passenger vehicles in the area available for today. This was an absolute waste of time and has put areal problem into our travel arrangements for this evening. read more

So i called to get a car from lakeland .Fl to the Tampa airport also had quote from Budget and Avis which were $40.00 and $42.00 Enterprise has some kind of drop fee that brought the price up to $165.00 Guess who i went with... If Enterprize wants to expand their business gouging is not the way . If I could give a negative star I would. My Cadillac dealer asked for an American vehicle. Enterprise said the would, they did NOT! Dealer asked for a non-smoked in vehicle and the car smaller like a cigar ashtray. The vehicle was dirty and the "disinfecting" left large sticky drops all over the steering wheel but nothing else was wiped off! I will never use Enterprise again and you should not either! This was the worst experience I am a local I needed a cargo van for 4 days I was told to bring a utility bill and proof of income. I drove about 45 minutes to get to them when I arrive I was told I needed two utilities bills under my name which I did not have needless to say I left very upset because it was a waste of time. We requested a car for one day and Enterprise came through, from pickup to return there were no issue and the staff was nice to work with.

Not too long ago, we went on vacation and had to find a Yukon to fit the whole family. We stopped at this location looking for one and they accommodated our needs professionally and very friendly. The car was clean, albeit having a few stains on the seats but that's not something they have much control over. Overall, it's a wonderful location, run well, and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

It started out rough. I had requested a pickup in the morning to start my reservation. When no one came it took getting hung up on and forty five minutes on hold(between the two calls) before i was able to get someone to come. Once I got picked up it was smooth sailing from there. I was easily able to change the length of my rental twice and the drop off location by phone. I might mention that another rental place I used recently does not allow. read more

Every time we visit Lakeland Fl. we ALWAYS rent from this location. The vehicles are always clean and the staff always friendly. We live in Las Vegas NV. and fly to Fl. 3 to 4 times a year.
