This location is sooo busy all the time and the employees always keep their time management "A+". Everyone is high energy to get everyone taken care of efficiently. Some customers are distraught and hard to deal with stemming from a recent accident. They keep their cool and help as much as possible. My experience was terrific overall!! Courtesy van pick up was convenient and reliable. Starting the rental everything was easy while they were entering all info then Tyrone finished up the rental perfectly. When I returned the car JyQuis was making sure I was taken care of, he was above and beyond helpful and keeping everything running smoothly when it got busy again!! read more

Called in and reserved a Chevy Tahoe luxury SUV or the like for 4 days. Got to 98 N in Lakeland and when I introduced myself and was there for a Chevy Tahoe and one guy at his desk started snickering as the clerk tells me they never got one. Their only choice to my dismay, was a ford escape. Zero care in the world and totally left me having to go find a proper rental agency tgat dies fabricate what they have. Top of the line customer service!!! I come to this location when I need a rental every few months or so. The Employees are getting upgraded every time, more power to the success. I Sent my car to the dealership for minor maintenance, I was sent to enterprise on bel half of the dealership for a rental. With it being a Friday they didn't have a truck or suv of my request. I'm claustrophobic, I drive a pick up truck for my comfort.To put me in a compact car is delusional.... I was willing to wait hours....... Till a vehicle cancelation came through that suited my needs. however, ZACK THE MANAGER! Was not going to let me wait, he Did go out of his way to keep me a satisfied customer. Zack made it possible. They added the insurance coverage without asking, so catch it before signing the tablet (like I did). After signing and receiving my receipt the rep said that the daily rate would increase to $80 a day instead of $44 because the insurance coverage provided a discount. That was bs since I've got a signed, emailed & printed receipt detailing $44/day with no additional insurance. All rental car companies try to sneak in extra charges or worry you into purchasing their insurance. read more

I was charged an extra $400 for bringing in my rental a day late, after being quoted a full 7 days for only $235! A one day rental is usually no more than $100! I spoke to the manager Mike and he rudely told me to "Not lecture him about his company policies!" I will not be returning to this horrible place with such horrendous customer service! read more

Not impressed at all. I reserve a car the day before, he calls me to confirm the day of that I'm coming to pick up in the morning. I get there and it's not ready being vacuumed. If you knew I'm coming why wait till I get there to vacuum it? Why give my car to someone, I reserved that car. I see it like a hotel, do they clean the rooms only if someone is coming? No they clean the rooms because they know they are going to rent the rooms. Then I displayed my disappointment & that I had a funeral to get to I don't have time to wait , so they give me a wet car with wet dirty windows that I can't even see out of and no window fluid in the car whipers area. Pet peave I need to see clear out my windows . The price was reasonable and I was able to get to my funeral . Also the girl gave me a hard time ; I had to bring utility bills , she didn't say current to date bills so I just grabbed dec bills I thought she was checking address proof , not all my bills are in the wife's name, my husband is on most. So I wasn't able to rent on my own thank god he/hubby waited and had to come in to use his card and information ? Bad experience overall. Not happy with the entire transaction. Only good came out of it was my best friend was so happy I could make her fathers funeral: renter be prepared for issues Update: So I return the less than $30 car rental to find out the lady tried to charge me $75 to include full coverage and my husband didn't read the fine print and signed away. But upon the return the nice man working that day asks me if it was correct & I said no. So he removed the charges and gave me a card for a future upgrade if I were to rent there again. The Sunday crew was a totally different atmosphere, they were nice upbeat and aiming to please all the customers in the lobby at the time. They should be in there full time and would make for a better experience totally! If I rent from them again I would want that Sunday crew to help me would make the experience more pleasurable for sure . read more

This is easily my favorite Enterprise location I've visited and I love that it happens to be in my hometown as well. I made the stop by this location due to having a nail in my tire in the current rental I was driving. Ryan took care of me during my time there and did a stellar job. The staff across the board was accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable. They made sure to get me in the door and out as quickly as possible while still meeting all of my needs well. One distinct quality I noticed about this Enterprise location is how well the team works together and communicates effectively. Worked with Phillip in partnership with Regal GM. My car needed a recall repaired, and I was set up with a car at no charge, courtesy of GM. Phillip was prompt and courteous. I had my fiance's credit card with me to pay, and didn't realize that I'm not supposed to pay with it because the card wasn't in my name. Phillip remedied the situation very quickly, and I was on the road in less than 30 minutes. The car was clean and nice, and returning it was very easy. My card was refunded the authorization charge the next day. I would definitely recommend Enterprise! read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION OR ANY OTHER ENTERPRISE LOCATION. Funny how it won't let you post with NO stars. I parked my car here while i was using a rental and informed the gentleman i rented the car from i would be doing so. When i returned the rental car, my car was gone. They had it towed. It will be $401.80 to get my car back but the only assistance they offered me was a ride to the towing yard which was closed for the weekend. Thanks Michael. I have left a message with the corporate 813-887-4299 and have received no return call. I have spoken to 3 people at the customer care line since yesterday. They informed me the regional manager is the only person who can help and that will be 24-48 hours for a return call. Derek at corporate headquarters informed me this morning they could do absolutely nothing as it would be up to the branch to reimburse me. My car is sitting in a tow lot and Enterprise is refusing any assistance until the regional manager can call me back in 24-48 hours while my car sits in a tow yard. read more

I am very disappointed with the manager at this location. I was sent to this location by the insurance adjuster because my vehicle was rear ended. The insurance company told me that they were going to upgrade the size of the rental, but when I went to Enterprise, they were first going to give me a Kia Soul. I explained what I was told and then they offered a Dodge Journey, and the agent assured me the insurance company would pay for the upgrade. I specifically asked to be notified if it wasn't approved, but I wasn't told anything until I went back 5 days later to return the rental. They still claimed they were dealing with the insurance company, but two days later I had a charge on my account - no notification, just a charge. The insurance company just called to let me know that I was given the wrong car (too much of an upgrade), but the manager refuses to give me a credit, even though it was their mistake. So now, I have to pay $100 for a vehicle I never would have taken if I knew I was going to be charged. UNBELIEVABLE! read more

I was set up with a beautiful Toyota Avalon car as my husband's Honda Fit needed a day to get repaired (talk about an upgrade!!!). The Honda dealer took care of the rental fee, but as I was sitting in the rental about to leave Enterprise, I was asked if I would be responsible for the rental or if Honda would be responsible. As Honda was paying for it, I said Honda, and was then told that it would cost me $20/day for that (for a "convenience" vehicle?). I grudgingly agreed to have that taken out of my deposit, though I wished they had discussed this with me as they were taking my credit card payment at the desk. The car was returned, the next day, on time, with more gas than it had when I took it. About 2 weeks later, I checked my credit card statement and discovered that only $8.04 had been returned to me. When I called the national office, they couldn't even find my account, and told me to call the local office. When I called the local office, I was told that I was charged for 2 days worth of coverage instead of one. No one had contacted me, no notification was sent that they were charging me for an additional day. I'm still not really sure why I had to pay for coverage that someone else was providing on a rental car, but I was extremely upset that they charged me for an additional day of coverage on the car for a day I didn't even have it. I was told it would take another 24-48 hours to return the additional charge. I would advise going elsewhere, as I have gotten rental cars from dealers before, and have never been charged anything for a "convenience" vehicle. Had I not checked my credit card statement, and lets be honest, who does before the end of the month, I would not have even known. read more
