If there was a below 1 star rating I would give it. I rented a car and had to pay out of pocket until my insurance could reimburse. I paid for the extra insurance for 7 days and on my invoice it clearly is charged for only the 7 days with the extra insurance coverage. The insurance stepped in when my 7 days were up and covered ONLY the remaining days of the rental yet without approval or signature or even them asking if I wanted to pay for extra insurance for the remaining days they charged me. When I came to get the issue resolved the branch manager used profanity and told me he "can't do shit about it" then ignored me and proceeded to help a customer. Completed disregard for the mis charge, disrespect, and lack of attempts to help. A sign posted on the wall "putting your first is our first priority" what a joke. Beware of Danielle!! If you want a person who is going to personally make it her mission to waste your money and disrespect you, go to Danielle. Long story short, she forced me to get insurance that I did not need. Stated that I would not be able to take the rental off the lot without it. Long story very short, all that talk was total bs and every other agent that worked there and other enterprises said what she did was wrong. I'm not sure if she personally pockets money if she can sell bs insurance but why force someone to get something they don't need. Anyways, when I found out that I could get my money refunded, she made it a person mission to ensure that didn't happen. It got to the point when I had to talk to the area manager. After about 2 weeks I finally got my money back. If I didn't have drive and was ridiculously persistent I would have never seen my money. If you have to work with Danielle, God forbid, have your recorder ready so you can document how she talks to people. Better yet, just go to the New Carrollton location instead. I rented a car about a month ago, last minute. I tried to rent from a competitor first because it was cheaper but they wasted my time. Danielle helped me get what I needed. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I started renting from this location while Brian was in charge, and never had a problem. When they replaced Brian with Kiki, it's been nothing but problems I mean, what can you expect from someone named Kiki. This location has been completely unprofessional. I had a reservation for a full-sized vehicle and when I arrived there were no sedans available. The only option was an SUV for which I would have to pay double the original reservation cost. No other solutions were offered. I love this Enterprise!!!! They are very friendly and remember the customers. I rent cars every few months and the service is always great. They are much faster than other locations and go the extra mile. If they don't have the size car you paid for they let you take whatever they have. I paid for the cheapest car and ended up getting a SUV no additional charge!!!! They always have refreshments (coffee, donuts, candy, juice and water) and they are patient when you don't have all of the things you need for renting. I never had proof of address and every time I have to use their computers to print. Oh and they aren't in the trailer anymore, thank God, they moved up the street across from Burger King. read more

When I arrived, they asked me to walk around the car and look for any damage larger than a golf ball, i didn't see anything and drove off. When i dropped off the vehicle the agent pointed out two dime-sized dents UNDER the front bumper. I had to bend down to see them, I would have never noticed those on my first review of the car AND they were clearly smaller than a golf ball. When I conveyed that it was impossible that I caused the tiny dents, the agent said I shouldn't worry about it, that they wouldn't file a claim because they were so small. She then asked me to sign a document acknowledging that i saw them. Well guess what arrived in the mail today? A damage claim from Enterprise!! So disappointing and frustrating. If you have to use Enterprise, particularly this location, look over your car with a magnifying glass. take pictures. I would never, ever recommend them. They were suggested by my insurance company because they were close to a body shop nearby. Use someone else, even if it's a little further away, it's worth it. If you're gong to use Enterprise, at least avoid this location. I have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism from Enterprise or any rental car agency. I picked up my car from the shop yesterday, and my husband and I searched for the nearest Enterprise to drop off my car. Unfortunately, this location was the nearest to the body shop. We were in a hurry, so I went inside to drop off the keys while my husband moved my personal belongings from the rental into my car. It was kind of busy inside, and there was only one worker. I told the guy at the counter (Blair) that I was dropping off my keys, but I didn't have time for anything else. I have rented countless cars, and I have literally never stayed around for the drop off part. I just leave the keys in the car. They were open, so i decided to go in and hand the keys over myself. He immediately said, "YOU CAN LEAVE, BUT IF WE FIND ANY DAMAGES WE ARE JUST GOING TO CHARGE YOUR CARD." I was like... ok. There are no damages, but ok... I thought it was very weird that he would say that to me without pulling up my account or even greeting me when I walked in. That was partly the reason of why I just left because I'd been ignored for an enough amount of time to know that the customer service there would suck and be slow. I told my husband how I felt uneasy about his comment. It sounded more cryptic and threatening than informatory. This morning I got a call from the Enterprise. He asked for me by name. I told him that he'd reached his intended caller, and without greeting or much of an introduction at all he bombarded me with threats of filing a claim against me with my insurance company. He said, "who is your insurance company because we are filing a claim with them. We found damage on the hood of the car." I was taken back, and in disbelief. He said, "yea. this is the guy that you handed your keys to yesterday. I told you before you left that if we found anything we were going to charge you for it, but you were in such a rush..." I told him that I wasn't in any accidents or anything that would cause any damage to the hood of the car or any part of the rental. There was no damage when I dropped the vehicle off. This guy's level of unprofessionalism floored me. I asked to speak to his manager (Jacqueline), and her tone was not much better. They just kept repeating, "that's why we told you not to leave. we told you if you left and we found something we would charge you." I heard it no less than a dozen times during the conversation. I ended up asking her, "so are you saying that the outcome of the inspection would've been different if I would've stayed?!" She protested, but I told her that I feel like they are trying to punish me for not staying for the inspection. I finally broke down emotionally and told her the exact reason why I was in a rush. It was a medical emergency. She told me that she wishes she would have known that before. It shouldn't matter though, right? If the damage is legitimate then it'd have been there no matter what right? She also told me that due to low visibility, my car was not inspected until 0830 this morning. I dropped my car off at 1600-1700 yesterday. The rental car wasn't inspected, and the damage wasn't discovered until after the rental was sitting in their parking lot for over 12 hours. If there was no visibility then the inspection wouldn't have been able to happen with or without my presence, right? How can this company try to hold me liable for this when they have an over 12-hour gap in my possession and their inspection of the car? If there was no visibility until this morning, why wasn't I called for the first possible inspection? They kept telling me that they were not saying that I was responsible for the damage, but the damage isn't notated on the pre inspection paperwork. The original place where I received the car didn't even inspect the hood with me, but either way I know that the damage was not there while I had it. They wouldn't provide me with any pictures. This is beyond a small protocol error. It seems malicious and fraudulent I don't even think there is damage, and if it's there I really think the staff went out of their way to do it. I'm not an unreasonable person. This is my first ever review on yelp. This location and its service is that bad. This isn't an error. This is deception and criminal fraud. This location is staffed by outright frauds. They are trying to take advantage of me. They are liars. Period. This location is in a bad part of town, and it's staffed by uneducated, classless, unprofessional predators. I think they are accustomed to dealing with customers that are shoddy, and now they treat all of their customers that way. I'm not a shoddy customer. This office is the reason I will never, ever, do business with Enterprise again! I would not even give this office one star if I had the choice. Very misleading "sales" tactics in regards to the insurance they offer with no mention of a daily rate to you from the get-go. The manager "Regina" does not want to work with you (or call you back for that matter!) if you have any complaint whatsoever in regards to payment or billing issues. I called the Corporate headquarters. At least Corporate sounded like they cared, but we'll see if they will actually help to resolve my issues with this office. I even spoke to another manager from another office in the area who said if I was their customer, they would work with me a lot better in resolving my billing issues. It's just strange to work with a company that has very little documentation for the work they do (there are never emails in regards to charges or additional charges - everything is done verbally with no confirmation of anything!). Very shady practice to just charge your card for whatever service they want even if you question it! I plan to write to the Attorney General in regards to their practices, lack of response, lack of follow-up and lack of resolutions to customer complaints. It's a shame they want to lose customers - obviously they don't give a damn about customer satisfaction or repeat business. I work with many professionals and I love referring others to good businesses; but unfortunately, I will be telling all of my colleagues and friends to not use Enterprise. If you do, you must take photos of your car from nose to tail, inside out, top to bottom.
