An accident initiated a body shop and rental car search. In this case, my misfortune turned in to good fortune. This Enterpise location isn't ttoooo far away from my most-favoritest-EVA body shop in Koreatown. and my insurance adjuster recommended I give this location a try. The staff made the process a breeze. They knew the insurance reimbursement rate and got me into the very best vehicle that fit my needs at the reimbursement rate. While on the lot, I saw a couple of customers who were greeted by first name, and vice-versa.....I'm thinking, "Am I seeing REPEAT customers at a car rental place??" Check out process was a breeze. Vehicle was exactly what I needed. Return was TOO EASY. Since my body shop was relatively close, they allowed me to leave it at the body shop when I picked up my shiny, repaired truck. I have rented two more times since then. I've seen or rented hybrid mini vans, Tacomas, Range Rovers - they have it all. They will work with you on the rate if they are able. Had an okay experience overall here. Came on a Monday for a sedan and they were completely out. I called other Enterprise locations and it's apparently a common issue. So if you need a sedan, come on any day but Monday if you can and remember to call the office to check inventory before you waste your time. He said it was cool and after I returned the car they tell me I was charged for another day. They gave me credit back but it was sort of sneaky- if they told me that earlier I would've just kept the car for another day. Anyways it all good. These guys are not to be trusted. They make false promises to gain your business and you can potentially waste your time or end up disappointed. Take your business elsewhere. Why do I say this? Enterprise is the official car rental agency contracted by Geico for customers who needs a rental while their vehicle is being repaired. After I submitted my claim to Geico, they went ahead and made a reservation for me at Enterprise. This would've given me the option to go to any Enterprise location I wanted. I had a specific one in mind that I've rented from in the past. Great service. However, within a minute of hanging up the phone with Geico, this location contacted me, very enthusiastically, and offering to rent me a Mercedes-Benz GLC or an Audi at the same daily rate that Geico pays. I never asked for these models, they offered. They seemed very eager to get my business. I called back about 90 minutes later, trying to see if perhaps I could get a fuel efficient car instead. They didn't have one available, so I decided to stick with the GLC, and actually got a little excited about getting a luxury SUV for the next couple days. That vehicle isn't really fuel efficient so I did inquire if they had any other options and they offered a small Lexus which I refused because I needed something bigger. I told them as much as I would like to have something fuel efficient, it was more important that I got something spacious. So I decided I would take the GLC. My intention was to go there later in the day to pick up the rental and was planning to walk from my home. But when I called back to check into the fuel efficient vehicle, he said the GLC was ready. So I told him I would be there within the hour to pick it up. I dropped everything. Rearranged my schedule, called an Uber and was there within the hour, as promised. They were very expeditious about checking me in, and sent me to the lot to pick up the car. When I go to the lot, there was no GLC. They rented it to someone else. No Audi either. They then proceeded to offer me some other options that wasn't viable. Having driven those models in the past, I wasn't happy with their performance. They even offered a small Lexus SUV, which I told them repeatedly would not work because it was too small. I was upset. I left the lot and walked back into the office to ask why they had promised me a vehicle, had me rush over there, then rented the vehicle to someone else. They were mildly apologetic and said it was a miscommunication. There was no miscommunication. It was a flat out error, or mishandling on their part. A ploy to get my business. I was visibly upset. I never asked to do business with this location. They were not my first choice. They took it upon themselves to call me within seconds of making my reservation with Geico, was quite eager to acquire my business and made false promises. I rearranged my schedule, pushed my appointment, paid for an Uber to drive there only to be disappointed. I had initially planned on renting a car for pick up the following morning but when I spoke to them initially, I decided to pick up the car today instead, so I could get an earlier start on my trip. After being left with undesirable options, I walked out of the office and my exact words as I exited were "Fine. I'll rent one of those other crappy cars." After walking a few steps forward, the gentleman emerged from the office and told me to forget it. "We're refusing you service" were his words. He canceled my reservation. So now I wasted all that time where I could have made an appointment with someplace else and it's end of day and I'm scrambling to get a car at another location, because I have to leave early in the morning. There were sympathetic enough to at least order me a Uber to get back home, but outside of that there was little to no apology, no remorse, no empathy, very little courtesy and I deem that all extremely unprofessional. If you're not bothered by this service then by all means give them your business. But by my standards, this isn't the kind of treatment I would expect from a major company like Enterprise. Though it isn't unusal when you rent from these small franchises. They were unprofessional and clearly demonstrated that they do not value their customers. They made false promises about cars to get you to come in and once you're there they try to push something else off on you. The young man in the lot told me that they they don't hold cars for people, so I wonder why they offered to do that for me, without me first requesting. My only assumption is that they do that with the intention of deceiving customers to come in and then giving them whatever they feel like. A deceitful way to do business. read more

ENTERPRISE AGENT TOOK PHOTOS OF MY CREDIT CARD AND DRIVERS LICENSE ON HIS PERSONAL PHONE!!! I had the worst experience at this Enterprise location that felt discriminatory and invasive. There is an Enterprise agent there, named Andy who claimed I couldn't use my Illinois driver's license to rent a car and cited a false fabricated company policy about "no Illinois driver licenses are allowed", very unbelievable :/. I also felt this refusal of service is a personal attack on my ethnic and religious identity. To make matter's worse, Andy also took photos of my driver's license and credit card with his personal phone. Without a car and with this experience, I was forced to cancel holiday plans and suffer financial and emotional stress. I gave this place a try, not the first time. I usually have no issue, customer service is decent. This time around I can't say the same. The level of unprofessionalism was outrageous. Never been treated in this manor. We walked in and the guy behind the desk (((Kevin))) seemed to be clearly busy. After waiting a few minutes, we decided to walk outside to ask the same guy, if we where waiting in vein, then go elsewhere. Long story short this guy ignored my spouse who attempted to get his attention for reassurance. This guy blatantly turned his back on my spouse. Then proceeded to aggressively state "Go somewhere else, we have nothing for you" rudely and quite disrespectfully, not to mention embarrassing. He said all this and more, following with vulgar language. It is clear anyone can have a bad day, but I cannot fathomed why someone who can't handle his temper is in this line of work. My sister and her friend originally booked a rental car in downtown but after an hour of finding the place and not so friendly customer service, she decided to almost give up to just take her car to a 7 hour trip one way trip to Sedona. Then I suggested go to hertz on Hyperion since looks decent with me searching Yelp. When we got there, it was not there ( not sure if they closed during pandemic or before because of business). I'm like ..let's try the enterprise where we used to go multiple times long ago. Taking a chance...( since been driving around all morning and her trip hasn't even started) .... We were glad we took that chance! The gentleman that helped us was friendly, accommodating, fast and understanding. Enterprise, Hancock Park is in a great location on Beverly Blvd. making it within easy reach of Silverlake, Koreatown and Mid Wilshire. Besides the rental office, they have a huge parking lot packed with a wide variety of rental cars. My first impression, when I first called them was these people are serious about customer service and flexible about customer needs. I originally booked a compact car but they gave me a free upgrade. During the course of the rental, I made a number of changes, adding an extra day and changing my return time several times. None of this was a problem. On the last day, I returned the car to Ya in the rental office who quickly resolved one final issue. I paid my bill and got a ride home courtesy of Enterprise. They booked my reservation the following weekend. I was picked up this time. Once I got there Bryan comp'd me 2 of my 3 days. The 3rd day was cut in half. He also upgraded me to a Hybrid vehicle which got excellent mileage. Part of the gas was comp'd as well. He also gave me a much lower deposit amount than the usual $350. Talk about customer service! Terrible service would give 0 stars if i could. Let me start off by saying my family's rental was on a wednesday at 8am. The car was not ready for pickup. I had family members arrive in the morning and I needed the car right away. They said they had to vacuum the car and had me wait a solid 40 minutes to get it and with a half assed job to boot. Vehicle smelled of urine, door handle was missing in the passenger cabin, some seatbelts broken/missing as well. They even "forgot" to take out the trash (leaking deodorant stick in the driver's side door is one example). Due to the smell in the car we had to cancel half of our trip since none of my family was going to sit in the car for any longer than the time it took us to come back home. We still had 4 days worth of our trip left. Lost a little over a thousand dollars in cancellation fees. On top of that when we came in to return the vehicle early, all they could say was a handbook written apology that made us feel even more enraged. Even threatened us to call security saying "you got your receipt you have no business here. You should leave." Everyone at this location is rude. read more

This location is less busy than the Figueroa DTLA location. The employees were really helpful and made some adjustments to accommodate me. Honestly, Enterprise is not exactly known for customer service, it's like going to walmart or some other company where they obviously don't really focus on customer service. So, with that said, the Union Bank location sucked, they didn't have my car, told me I couldn't reserve a car in the category I wanted ( full size) and only had minivans when I got there. So my expectations were already low when I got here. I came here, they had one car available, I took it, dropped it off and the woman did a quick check and I was out the parking lot without even going into the office. Christian Marquis the manager.. provided me with the best experience I have had dealing with Enterprise. Most of my experiences have been below average. I booked with the Gower in LA the manager Jose Escoto's location and they didn't have my car and tried to upcharge me for them not having my vehicle that I reserved. I called this location and Christian was more than accommodating he was very respectful and over the top with customer service. He's the only reason I'm still doing business with Enterprise Rental Car. I was ready to close my corporate account after 3/4 too many incidents. This probably the worst experience I ever had with car rental. My reservation was for 12.00 i arrived at 11.30 and the manager told me to wait. When time came close he said he has no car for me but later they start to show up. First offer was corolla but for some reason he gave it to a woman who came after me . Then there was a honda civic on what i said yes but he gave it to other people again. So its 12.18 he said there is no car for me. Around 12.25 he said he has a car that is lower class that i made reservation for. I would say yes but it was small and not a very good car on gas nissan versa. I explained him that i cant take it and its lower .. waaay lower than his first offers or what i made reservation for. Its about 12.35 already he looks for cars and said we need to take me to other location. I asked what cars they have they didn't answer me. When we arrived they offer me a broken nissan altima that was even running roughly and had damage on front or Mitsubishi that was size of fiat 500.. of course i said no and they said we have nothing for you! I just had a terribly frustrating experience with Enterprise. I'm still giving them 5 stars. For a few reasons. The issues with Enterprise had to do with the call center. Making a reservation at a certain time to make an appointment only to find out they had no cars was annoying. The two ladies here trying to scramble to deal with every issue being thrown at them had to also deal with me when I was irate. They were so wonderful I ended up feeling pretty bad after. Enterprises call centers lack of organization was still a terrible experience but I wanted to thank the two ladies that powered through everything. This place is horrible and shady. I dropped off my car at the shop and my insurance provided Enterprise for a rental. When I get there, one of the reps (Kyle) is yelling and being verbally abusive to a woman because she had questions on the process and he didn't have patience for her. Talk about awkward. She then got on the phone with the corp office and that made him finally calm down. What "Man" would act like that towards a woman? What kind of "Man" would behave like that? Better yet, what kind of manager would allow this and just stand there like a deer in headlights. I don't know the whole story behind it but his actions were inexcusable. I'm glad she called corp. I finally got a young lady to help and she wanted a $1500 deposit for a Jeep. Chrysler made cars aren't worth $1500 to begin with. So I called my insurance and then it dropped to a $50 deposit for an Audi once they got involved. Funny how that worked out. I wonder how many people they have taken advantage of this way. After a couple of days I had some questions and tried to call them. They never answer the phone. Each time I tried to call them I had to call the corp office first so that they could connect me. When I finally got the manager, Roy, he blamed his phones not working. Said they had some issues. How long does it take for their IT department to fix this? Weeks? Why doesn't he follow up to get the issues resolved? I tried calling at different times of the day and emailing the manager and no response. Horrible customer service. They are quick to take your money but slow to help. The rep who was able to help me was great. I can't remember if his name was Chaz or Chance or something along those lines. I'm horrible with names but he made my process smooth and quick. He was the only reason I didn't request a different branch. He should be the one running this place as he seems more in tune with what's going on. More aware and doesn't look like a little kid who lost his mom at the super market like the manager. If I ever need a rental and have a choice, this place won't be it unless I definitely have no choice. read more

After going to this spot for the past 10 years. It was a fail today. I am sure that they will blame it on how busy they were. However, that shows lack of planning and management. I live closer to the Hillhurst location but always made a point to go the extra miles to this location. It had OK service but overall took care of me in previous rentals. Probably have rented over 90 days in total from this location. Dealing with so many different reps has allowed me to recognize a good deal. I show up today , sat in the empty office for a while with no staff around. Walked myself to parking lot where I found the reps whom looked very busy. So not subtracting any points because they looked busy. Once in the office, the rep tries to sell me on a pick up truck after I explained I needed a sedan. Tries the smoke and screens of how the holiday rates are more expensive and there are no cars available. Tried to high sell me on a vehicle I did not want and allowed me to leave with no car. Beware of Tanya as she will lie blatantly to your face about specific rules & requirements without showing you proof that they do exist (because she's lying). She lied about Enterprise requiring each customer purchase insurance along with the rental. The customer has the discretion to do so, especially if they already did their research and understand that their personal insurance rolls over & covers the rental. It sucks to know that she's probably doing this on a daily basis & fooling non experienced renters. This is a violation of the customer's trust in Enterprise. I came here to rent a car about two months ago, not knowing this place was as far as reviews go and I honestly could not be happier! I had made a reservation for a Saturday and although i failed to realize I was there near closing time and a line of people ahead of me she assured me that I would be helped in a timely manner. She was juggling about 4 people at the time and she was swift and still had personality thru every interaction, very difficult to do if you've ever been in a position of keeping people happy and being efficient. After some time it was my turn and I received the same consistent service that everyone in the room was happy with and I couldn't be happier! When it came to the cars she was running out of them and allowed to upgrade to something I wasn't expecting but was more than happy to rent. Her team was helpful when I had a questions about the car and weren't bothered by questions. I even stuck a conversation with the man cleaning up the cars and he was funny and insightful. Awful. After getting around the 28 homeless people laying in front of the door I had to wait in line behind only 2 people for 35 minutes. Then I had to get into a van to drive to another location for my car, which took 25 minutes. Great car, but that's because I booked it and paid extra, so no reflection on this location. The return took a very long time despite there being NO other customers in the building. I belong to the Enterprise Plus club so I should be able to drop the keys and jam, not have to wait for the one person working there to walk down the street to go inspect the car and then walk back to tell me I'm all set. I'll still use Enterprise but will not return to this particular location. read more

Enterprise in general is hit or miss, missing most of the time. My family, long time patrons, whenever we go out of the city look to rent a car from Enterprise. We always set a reservation for a compact car. Easy enough right? Reservation for a compact car... We get there a few minutes before our reservation and guess what? Oh we don't have a car right now but we can give you a giant gas guzzler. A van a truck a 6-cylinder... We always have to wait for them to get a compact car to fit our reservation. They can't respect the price so they hike up the price with a changed vehicle due to their incompetence. Whats the point of making a reservation if you can't meet it at the time? Let me give you an example. Last time I was at this location a woman with a baby was crying because she said she was going to miss her son's birthday. The attendant tried desperately to calm her and told her she would get a car by the end of the day. She continued to cry and the baby soon filled the room with its screaming. We went in told them we had a reservation and just left and told them we would return in an hour because we didn't want to deal with this... One more thing. When we sit in the waiting room people walk in and request hybrid vehicles, like a prius, to save money on gas. Several times people ask, as is the car we hope to get.
