People in this enterprise lie all the time. We have a reservation for a full size suv. We called before we go. They told us they have it ready. (First lie!) We went to them with the whole family ( that's why we need a full size). When we arrived they told us that car was not ready. They give us a small missibi (totally not cleaned!). They told us the full size will be ready in about 1 hour (second lie!). They told us they will call us to switch it back ( third lie!) They never call. We called them. Twice given a dirty car outside, ok clean inside, dents not documented and I had to point out. Had to ask to clean windows, covered in wet dirt all over the vehicle. Then have the nerve to charge me $288 out of my $300 security deposit to "purify" the air in the car cause someone said it smelt like smoke. Complete BS! Was dropped off cleaned inside and out WAY better than given to me, with NO Smoking done inside. WTF, anyone can say they smell what ever and take your $300 deposit. read more

We called for an insurance claim reservation. Phone was answered by an employee at the location, who cold transferred us to the 800 number without explanation or professionalism. We were told they had called us, but no call from this location shows on any of our three numbers, including a business number. I understand being busy, but this is just bad service. read more

Man, this place is subpar on service, but I have limited options through my work travel app. The first time I rented a few months ago, I called for a ride on a Monday morning. I was literally on hold for an hour. An HOUR. I finally started driving there because I was thinking the whole place had been taken hostage. I'm halfway there when the call goes through. Went back home and they picked me up. What a fiasco and a waste of valuable time on a work day. Two weekends ago, I reserved a car for pick-up on a Sunday. I called and called and my calls were sent to a voicemail that states the mailbox is not set up - so there was no option but to Uber to Enterprise. When I got there, a very young man came in from the back and started working with me - I mentioned the calls. He started whining about how he was the "only one working today" and there was no way he could answer calls AND attend to customers (I was the only customer there for my entire visit). In the midst of his whiny diatribe, a gentleman who has helped me before walked out of the back and said "Nice to see you again!" Clearly he was not working alone. Basically, I have to rent here and I tolerate it, but wow - they need to work on owning up to their issues and take some responsibility for lackluster customer service. read more

I rented this car in Taylor. I drove about 400 miles at the posted speed of 75mph most of the way to Lubbock. I can't tell you how shocked I was to see the fender like this. I pushed it back in the first time but at the next stop it was already out again. The rep in Taylor told me I would be okay because it was only a little lose. By the time I got to Lubbock, it looked like this. Can you imagine at the velocity I was driving - if it had ripped off and hit my windshield and caused me to have an accident or worse yet a family driving next to me or behind me? I showed up at 5:42pm on Friday at the Enterprise on Spur 327. They closed at 5:30pm. Luckily a young man named Josh was still tying up loose ends before leaving for the day. I asked if I could trade it for another because I just did not feel safe. I was traveling back and forth from Crosbyton to Lubbock 2-3 times a day and I was afraid it was going to cause an accident. He said he would help me and he did. He found something comparable and we switched cars. I just want to commend him for his help. I mean, it was after hours and he probably wanted to go home too. He smiled and was kind through it all. Staying to go above and beyond. He could've told me to come back tomorrow but he was empathetic and I am thankful and grateful! Conveniently located just 3 minutes away from Maaco where my daughters car was being repaired. I called ahead to confirm they would rent to a 19 year old since they were the insurance companies to preferred company. They do, as long as they are on a fully comprehensive insurance policy. The manager was professional and knowledgeable and made my reservation for me. When we arrived, the manager remembered speaking to me on the phone a few hours prior and had my daughters reservation ready to go. I wanted her to take charge and learn how to perform this life function, so I sat back and observed her handle her business. What I especially appreciated was how the manager went outside with her and taught her what sort of damage to look for and note prior to accepting the rental. He even took it upon himself to switch her into a better, upgraded car without us even having to ask because he felt the first one was inadequate. The whole process made an otherwise stressful and hectic day easier for us thanks to both Enterprise and Maaco! My daughter had no issues returning the vehicle and getting her $50 deposit returned and having the insurance company take care of payment. read more

I am a long time customer with Enterprise. I rented a Toyota Corolla for a weekend road-trip. The car fell short of my expectations so I left a note when I turned in the keys letting them know that I was dissatisfied. The manager, Josh contacted me the following day. They handled the issue so well! I was totally impressed with the young men managing this location. I have read several 1-2 star reviews on this location but that was not my experience at all. I had made an online reservation for June 16th. When I went into the location I was greeted by a tall man with dirty blonde hair and a mustache who was not at all welcoming. My entire experience at this location was horrible to say the least because with each issue we were met with (admittedly most of my fault for not remembering how their rental system worked) he was neither compassionate or tried to help. We rented back on August 29, 2022 - September 2, 2022. We have rented from enterprise before but this time we had the absolute worst customer service not only did we have a flat after we rented the vehicle (2hrs out)but it took an hour for someone to help us. When we finally get to our destination, the next morning, that tire is completely flat the whole purpose for this rental was for our daughter's medical follow up six hours from home to have to reschedule because no one could really help us unless we drove on the rim to another enterprise. my husband tried to change the tire himself, but the spare was flat.When we finally get to the airport location, the vehicle we were given was filthy trash from the last person who rented it and smears of. I don't know what on the windows totally unacceptable. We have been waiting to speak to a manager since 6 September. It is now October 11, 2022 and no one seems to be able to get back in touch with us about all the issues we had with this rental. called back this morning and supposedly the regional manager will be in contact with me or email me when I ask the rep about any notations from the previous calls. Enterprise is the place I usually turn for rentals. The last several times I've noticed that their pricing is just not competitive. However, I decided to use them since my car is being repaired and my insurance gave me the option. This location is well staffed and friendly, but I don't know that the staff really knows what they are doing. I was in and out quickly, but ended up with a car that has a funky smell and a crooked drivers seat. It showed a "maintenance" light on and they assured me everything was fine. I asked them to reset it, but no one on sight knew how to do that. There was one man out of the many people there who offered to switch the car for a different one if it would provide me more peace of mind since he also did not know how to reset the light. Out of all their employees, I can say he is the only one familiar with customer service. While the staff was friendly, I have to say that this location wasn't as knowledgeable or accommodating as other enterprise locations I have been to. read more

I've dealt with them twice over the past couple weeks for getting a car and I made reservations way in advance and talked to people over the phone and in person and both times they didn't have cars when I was promised a car to the point where I had to cancel a stay at a hotel that I had already paid for because of the lies they consistently told me ..... a vacation planned for 5 months cut short by these LIARS at this enterprise .... While waiting for a ride back to my house I overheard every single one of these workers saying " we don't have any cars right now but just tell them we have a car and when they get here and ask why we said that when we don't just tell them the car is being worked on it works every time " they told this to 3 DIFFERENT PEOPLE while I sat there waiting .... I had a deposit put down on the rental car for $25.29. I was told it would be credited back to my account obviously not. I found this on my credit card and when I tried to call the enterprise on spur 327 in Lubbock Texas I was put on hold and then once it was picked up it went to a fax number I've never had this issue before but granted they close in 30 minutes so obviously they don't want to talk to anybody 30 minutes before they close on Saturday. This location has been amazing. I was rear-ended, and while my car was in the shop, I rented a car from this location. I spoke with several people a variety of times on the phone (Nick, Buffy...) and each time I was treated professionally, and with patience and care. They helped me work with the insurance company to negotiate a larger vehicle at no cost to me (I drive an SUV and insurance tried to put me in a midsize sedan.) They found me a full-size SUV. They did a walk-around with me (not all locations do this anymore). I am highly impressed with the training the staff at this location must have received, their execution of their jobs, and the customer service they offered. Keep up the great work! read more

So I had to bring my civic to frank brown to get it worked on, and conveniently enough, this Enterprise is just down the street and across the way. Customer service was okay and my rental was a fairly new /mint condition Corolla that apparently was washed just before pick up. Awesome except they literally must have DOUSED the car in this awfully obnoxious cinnamon - scented freshener that clung to everything that touched the car for days. I got a really bad headache and we had to keep the windows rolled down for almost the entire week i had the car. Upon return, I realized that I would be about 20 mins behind my return time. I knew that I could either check out with Enterprise and then have them drop off my stuff in the parking lot of Frank Brown customer service dept, but wanted to have that part taken care of first. So I called Enterprise and asked them if there would be an additional charge if I was about 20-30 mins late. The rep who answered said No, that there was an hour grace period. Where it strikes me as funny is that they ended up charging me an extra 17.99 for the "grace period" and then gave me a $20 "customer service credit" for the inconvenience the overpowering freshener caused so really I still paid about the same as I was originally quoted... If you're looking for convenience or if the rental is paid by insurance, this will a good choice. However, if it's coming out of your pocket I'd look elsewhere first. read more

One star because they did stop someone from entering without a mask and I applaud them for that. BUT- I reserved a compact car online, they didn't have one and wanted me to pay for a full size. Didn't offer an intermediate until I asked and wouldn't honor the price of a compact for an intermediate. While I was there another customer walked in visibly upset because she has been working with them since May's hail storm and stated that the battery had died in a second rental she had. They switched out her car and moments later Justin offered me the same vehicle with a dead battery. Mindy was behind the counter and speaking derogatory remarks about the woman who had complained about the battery in her second rental- mocking her to another customer. Not sure if Justin and Mindy are just young, if this is a new location, etc, but both could definitely polish up on their courtesy and customer service skills. read more

Excellent service I received from the time pick up till the time I returned the vehicle, unfortunately had a problem and needed to contact roadside service. Lucky for me I spoke with the office and I knew there was a company that they use for Lockout and lost Keys . Pop a lock . Unfortunately the female from enterprise roadside service was try for me to agree to get my car towed also telling me there no locksmith in the area . My advice is contact the rental office directly if u have a problem at least they will advise u correctly. // Everything workout at the end. Just awful... First I give them 4 warning to pick me up at 4:20 on Monday and they come earlier in the day and leave five minutes later... So the company that is fixing my car decides to drive me because they wouldn't pick me up... (Which was so awkward, and weird) Lucky they were right down the street from the body shop. But then I come in and they informed me that since I don't have my insurance they have to charge me 20$ because I don't have my insurance with me. It's just funny how the 4 times I talked to 4 different representatives they never once said to bring my insurance... It is starting with a horrible experience... Came to Lubbock Texas on a short business notice. The helpful sales staff at Enterprise took me to my meeting and drop me off, they picked me up an hours later and brought me to their office to pick up rental cars. The staff was very polite and friendly but on the way back from Denver Colo. we hit snow and I missed my return time by 2 hours. I put the keys in the drop box and had to catch a plane home. I received an email receipt which they logged the car in the next day and charged me a full day plus their insurance along with some other charges I didn't what for when the car was sitting in their parking lot all night. the price went from $240 to $317. Thank you Enterprise for being there when we need you. Needing a rental usually means you're going out of town, getting your car worked on or you've been in an accident. Our last rental was due to us being involved in an accident. Enterprise put us in a vehicle and we were able to keep that vehicle until our car was repaired. That included our car being at the shop an extra week due to massive blizzard "Goliath" where work was halted on our vehicle due to this massive storm.
