If I could leave no stars, I would. I spoke to a gentleman. I'm not going to say his name and told him that I had to be at work at 5:30. In the morning on Monday and that I would need to drop off the car. That was being repaired at a local shop over the weekend. He told me that they don't do pick ups over the weekends, and when I told him that I would then need to figure out a ride from the shop to the enterprise location was he said. Well you could always just go to work late on Monday and come here first to get the car for him to dictate my life. And my work over picking up a rental car was very A brazen of him I also told him that I had to be at my second job on Saturday. By 4 PM and I asked him if I could pick up the car on Saturday on my way to my work. And he said, yes, he neglected to tell me that they close at 1 PM on Saturdays. So I drove all the way out there to then. Have to be dropped off at my job to later. Be picked up because he could didn't tell me while I was on the phone that they didn't. They were not open that late on Saturdays, then Sunday rolls around and we get to enterprise. And they tell me that my reservation isn't booked, and I told him that I spoke to this young man, and he said that I could pay Pick it up on Sunday and the gentleman then at the counter. Said, well, he didn't do anything in the computer. So they ended up putting me in a vehicle that the insurance company didn't approve. I had to go through the insurance company to get them to approve. The higher rated car so that I didn't have any cost out-of-pocket for an accident. That was not my fault then. Now it's Wednesday. My car is fixed and I go to call enterprise to see how I'm getting them. Their vehicle back and nobody will answer the phone. The first time I called them, I was on hold for 10 minutes. The second time I was on hold for over 20 minutes. And when I got to The Body Shop, I was still on hold with them. And the woman from The Body Shop said, you can leave your rental here. We will Will call them and they will come.Get it from here and that is what I ended up doing because they just simply refused to answer the phone. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this place. I know this will sound biased. The females who have taken care of my account there have been very good. Every single time I've talked to the males, it's confusing and makes no sense. I'm a guy, by the way, so I would have expected the opposite. My car has been in repair for almost a month. Two weeks into the rental, there was a recall on the car I had, so I had to trade it for a different one. Because they close at 6 PM, I had to cut a workday short in order to get there in time. Today I spoke to a guy there because my insurance coverage ended yesterday. Even though they already have my credit card on file and have billed it for a few things, the guy insisted I needed to pay up front for my anticipated return on Wednesday. I told him the shop might have my car ready on Tuesday, couldn't they just wait until I bring it back and charge me the correct amount. He refused, even though it's only 2 or 3 days on a 1 month rental. He actually said they had to charge up front in case I couldn't pay for it when I bring it back. I own an IT support company and have paid the extra insurance out of pocket the entire time. Bottom line, if you have to use this location, be sure you do business with the ladies there, not the guys. You'll be much happier. read more

Classic bait and switch. I checked there time that they had my vehicle. I showed up and as they were trying to run my card, they tried to give me something much smaller. They weren't going to tell me until after I paid. I was upset and I told them give me my card back. They tried to apologize and I told them not to. Then the one guy tried taunting me. I asked for his name and he started yelling GO AHEAD! ENOUGH WITH THE YELP!!!! I recently rented a car from Enterprise in Martinsburg, and the experience was excellent. The vehicle was clean and comfortable, making my trip enjoyable. Jaden, who assisted me, was incredibly courteous and even laughed at my lame jokes, which made the process much more pleasant. While the A/C was on it had a smell of cigarette smoke, but the team reassured me that it wouldn't be on me. But I'm a former smoker so it didn't bother me. Overall, the customer service and quality of the car exceeded my expectations. Total price was $166 to drive one-way from Martinsburg to Buffalo which included collision waiver and roadside assistance. Gas mileage was incredible on the Jeep Compass. read more

Ren of the car got halfway to the beach. The coolant light came on so I called them. They told me they would have to give us an Uber to the airport. I said I'll try to fix the situation because I had my kid with me don't trust other peoples driving so I put coolant in it and then after it fixed it plus I extended that day, I paid another $121 out of my account whenever I got back to the enterprise, they said they were going to credit me for my problems Instead of getting 391 back like I was supposed to 151and watch your transactions I've called them and got them on the phone and I've either got hung up on or never called back plus I have my receipt read more

martinsburg enterprise store 910 is a complete disaster (aside from Jamar who was very kind and helpful). The store manager Nevin Taha was unwillingly to engage in a conversation with me after they put damages on their "walk thru" when I asked for photos of when I drove it off the lot (my mistake I will never drive a car without my own photos) Nevin ignored me and started processing a damage claim. Tiffany bower also choose not to engage when I was asking how I can dispute said whack damage claim. Jamar was the best. he listened, and understood the situation was bad but you can still listen and be very helpful even in a bad situation. 5 stars to Jamar and 0 stars for Tiffany bower and nevin taha. also nevin taha looked over and laughed at me when I was on the phone trying to get the enterprise from where I picked up to respond with photos. also Seattle enterprise is waaaay better and actually provides great service. not martinsburg wv lol read more

Wow!! What a difference a year makes! Made an appointment for 10am to pick up car. Entering all the information on line, got there 40 minutes early, car wasn't ready. Got checked in early, car still wasn't ready. Complaining and was told they were waiting on someone to return.....all this time the manager? Sat in office talking with someone & an employee was outside joking & talking with a customer? Leaving only one person at the counter. When a lady returns, I advised her we were just waiting on her...... it's now 10:40 she was surprised..... came out & gave us an upgrade, being the first pleasant person & fastest moving there. Answered all questions & was finally able to leave at 11!! While others didn't seem to care, she did!! The car washer was working as fast as he could to keep up too & doing a great job! Not bad I suppose only 2 out of 5 actually working...... 2 out of 6 if the person the manager was laughing with behind his closed door was an employee too!! A year ago I was early, the car was ready, check-in was quick and I was gone before my scheduled pickup....... WHAT HAPPENED????? If it was a staff change, get the others back!! Reserved a minivan on line for 3 weeks because im on vacation from California with my kids. When I called them to modify my reservation I was then told that they do not have any minivans and they could only get me in a five passenger vehicle and that it was nothing they could do. I asked why they let me make the reservation on line and they said they had nothing to do with that. Then I asked if they could call around and find one and they declined. I know it's supposed be be a small family friendly business and I just think they could have tried harder Thankfully, my sister just called the enterprise right in Charlestown and reserved me a minivan. Simply Awful with an incompetent manager. No car available......again!! Last time I rented, no car available. Luckily for them, a man turned in a Versa at the last minute, they sprayed some terrible smelling stuff in it, and sent me on my way. This time, no car again. I was told that I needed to ride with the manager down to Charlestown to get a car, which I refused to do. Not only me, but two other people were treated the same way. One poor woman refused a suburban, (not offered to me), so she had to get in a car and drive down to Charlestown with the manager. This lady had been injured in an accident and was in obvious distress, but just sat in the corner quietly for over an hour because, like the rest of us, no car. I even offered to give her a ride myself to the Hertz rental car just up the street. Another gentleman did not have a car either, and after a two hour wait, they gave him a mini van. He took it simply to get out of this terrible facility. When a car finally arrived from Charlestown, I was told that the "overflow lot" was actually in the Weis grocery store parking lot. I will not leave my F250 in a weis store parking lot for two weeks in that part of Martinsburg, and expect it to be there upon my return. The reason I have to leave my car is that my family refuses to take me to the Martinsburg facility and wait for me anymore. The wait was so long the past few times, that they will not go there. Once I realized the overflow lot was in a grocery store parking lot, and after waiting for two hours on a car that I had reserved, I got mad and left. This was beneficial for all of us. When the people in the store realized that I had driven off, they called my wife. She was asleep because she had just finished her all night 12 hour shift at the hospital. When she did not answer, they called back two more times until she did. Her cell number was on my account for emergencies. This was not an emergency, this was simply your employees wanting to get out of the office and doing everything they could to do so. I will remove her number now and hope a true emergency never exists. My wife is now awake, and must work her 12-hour shift again tonight. I have no car so I will not be at work Monday morning as planned in Greensboro, NC. And, I am being charged for a hotel room in Greensboro Sunday night because the room was non refundable, all because, even though I reserved a car, the incompetent manager at your Martinsburg facility, could not simply have a car available. Enterprise is a great company, but you have a serious bad apple. read more

I was going to rent a car to go out of town for a wedding. I made my reservation and set it up so that they would pick up in the afternoon. The salesman even got me a better deal on the rental. Everything was all set, and then my pick up time came and went, no phone call about a delay or that they would be able to get me a little later in the day. So I called and cancelled my reservation. They clearly were not worried about my business. The worse thing about it is that I live a 1/2 mile from them and the same salesman that created my reservation didn't seem bothered about my cancellation. I ordered a full size car on line they called and told me they didn't have what I ordered so they were going to give me a free upgrade asked if I had a problem with a mini van, a pick up truck or suv I told them no mini van, I was ok with a suv, didn't prefer a pick up. They told me when I get ther to pick it up I can look at what they got and then choose. I said that was fine. When I got ther the lady told me i wanted a car so i get the only car they got Hyundai Elantra it was a downgrade but it was the only car they had. I took it two blocks before turning around a guy came out to talk to me I told him I just got the car and something was wrong with it because it just keeps swaying back and forth on the road like I was traveling in high Dusty winds plus it was too small and not what I wanted and what about the truck or suv i was told I could get? He said he would see what he could do and walked back inside. About a min later comes back out and said that was the last vehicle they had I asked about the 2 F-150s or even the Durango that was still rite ther he said they wher already rented. I asked realy? But not even 5 min before they weren't? He said the only thing I can do is sit there and wait for something to be turned in, come back tomorrow, or go to enterprise in hegerstown, frederick or somewere else that I can't remember and they would trade it out for something else. Ok no other option but to drive this broken unsafe car 25 min down I-81 to hegerstown to switch it out for what i ordered in the first place. Ok so when I get ther they tell me thers nothing they can do becouse 1 Martinsburg never called to say anything to them and 2 they dont have any Vehicles left to rent either. So now I have a broken rent a car that me and my wife have to drive 444 miles and hope we dont reck. Also I pointed out the the lady when looking over the car that it wasn't ever cleaned and ther was dirt and dust all over it she said all ther cars are cleaned before letting them go back out. Ok then what about all the fingerprints all over the inside glass? Reserved online, and one agent told me they didn't expect me to arrive. Then had to wait 55 minutes for vehicle to be cleaned & washed. They only had two employees on a saturday at open, with over 15 customers at the door, and many with vehicles not cleaned and ready to go. Tiny parking lot for store and very congested. The redeeming factor was another agent gave me 15% discount. The Dodge Caravan was pretty nice. Overall, it could have gone a lot better. read more

DO NOT use Enterprise in Martinsburg. The manager, Evan, is very rude and has poor customer service. After a tree falling on my car and needing a rental, my license was expired and I have a temporary license, but he refused to rent a car to me stating that no Enterprise anywhere would rent to me and that it is company policy to have a paper photo license with expired stamped acrossed it. Even though my temporary license is excepted by law enforcement agencies, I supposed Evan is above the law. However, thank you to David, the assistant manager at Charles Town Enterprise, for renting me a car! Must not be a company policy, just an Evan policy that has no cusotmer service skills and no desire to treat people right. read more

Have used this location twice. First time was smooth & the young lady was awesome. The second time was very disappointing to say the least. Waited 1 hr. No cars ready. Took car back and gave keys to a gentleman and just didn't trust the "check in" could be complete. Called the location asked if the ticket was closed, indeed it was not. Will be my last rental with the location. Was also a mess getting in/out of the lot. There must have been 75 cars in the lot. read more

My car was recently rear-ended and I needed to put it in the shop. Allstate recommended my local Enterprise so I called them up and arranged a pick-up. They picked me up from the body shop on a busy Monday morning and brought me back to their office so that I could get my rental car. Once I checked in, they realized that my information was entered incorrectly and my claim was stuck under Pending status in their system. I called Allstate and they could not solve the problem so I handed the phone over to who I believe was the manager at Enterprise. He was very patient and talked with Allstate on my behalf so that he could figure out the problem on his end. I was very impressed with all the employees, especially Andrea who prepared my vehicle and answered all my questions. I will definitely consider this Enterprise again if I am ever in need of a rental vehicle. read more

My insurance company reserved a car for me at this Enterprise office. Even with two days advance notice, they only had one car available when I arrived and it hadn't been cleaned. My experience, nightmare, with enterprise began when I was hit head on by a distracted driver who pulled into my lane and causing my car to be totaled and left me severely injured. The liable drivers insurance company sent me to the Enterprise location in Martinsburg WV. When I arrived at that location there was an extremely loud, aggressive group of customers in the counter area. I, being an older woman, was made to feel uncomfortable. They were very close to me as I had to give private information and make important decisions about factors that I had little or no knowledge of. When I was asked if I wanted the extra insurance I declined it because of lack of information and the fact that these other customers were within earshot Was very disorienting and distracting. I also wasn't sure if I would pay for it or the insurance company. The rental car was sideswiped by a road raging driver who's ins company rejected my claim. I was then sent a bill for $7000 by Enterprise. I contacted the president of Enterprise and never did receive a direct answer from her. I am a senior who was not well treated by this location or their headquarters there is no understanding or compassion from Enterprise for the very difficult circumstances I experienced in their location.. Beware of this location and the company overall. I guess they love going after senior citizens after treating them poorly. Seniors go anywhere else but here. read more
