They are very organized which helps everything run smoothly. It's a quick bus trip from the start to get to your tubes and the river. Then, you can take as many trips as you want! But the bonus is that when you exit the river, you're at your car. Plus they have little changing stations which makes for a comfortable ride home. Can't wait for our next tubing adventure!

Our kids had a blast doing the gem mining, which was a fun bonus after a day of sightseeing. The location is hard to beat if you're visiting Washington, DC. It made getting into the city each day easy and convenient. We didn't get to enjoy many of the campground's amenities because we spent most of our time exploring DC, but based on everything we experienced, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. My youngest really enjoyed the tractor ride!! Highly recommend!

They are all beautiful! We would've stayed longer but the following weekend was fully booked so we are on the road again

The showers and bathhouse were clean and the water was very warm. The only suggestion we have is for lot 203, where we stayed to be leveled more to accommodate a 35 foot motor home by getting to a level state without having to raise the wheels far off the ground. The positives of this place is the staff was overall very friendly, the water park was awesome and it was very quick to get here from DC. The downsides was that it is fairly pricey, the store is incredibly limited, and overall it feels a lot more dated than the Bedford location. Also, food is incredibly limited. We ended up ordering on Uber Eats since this Yogi Bear didn't offer dinner service and their pizza ovens stopped working. It was late in the season though.

My room had a wide range of issues which did hinder my trip and made the high price for my cabin non justifiable. The main office was closed and called back the next day which was not ideal. The events were not always timely for instance the advertised pool party didn't start getting setup until 15 minutes after advertised and it was indeed not a party. Lastly the canteen was inexcusably inefficient for grabbing a meal by the pool. You had to wait in line for 45+ minutes and then were quoted an additional 1+ hour until you would get your food. In all this park has so much potential to be better. But if cabins are not up to par, guests should be contacted in advance or given a remedy.
