While I was in Melbourne I needed a rental car since I was really staying in Cocoa Beach which was like a 30-45min drive. I had did a reservation ahead of time, so when I arrived it was very easy for me to get the car. I had did everything on the app to get the car. I only had to verify who I was and get the keys from the people outside. Returning the car was very easy to do. I love quickly and smoothly everything went. This is the worst enterprise tied with PBI. I travel for work constantly and started using Enterprise, made it through out 7 rentals until I got to the point where I refuse to use them. This was strike 1. Due to bad weather, we got rerouted from MCO to Melbourne. So I ordered a car and drove to Walt Disney where I had a cardiology conference to attend. The lady behind the desk was clueless and had a hard time understanding me, I don't know why. My name is incredibly simple and I had a conf # and all. So I get the keys to a small car in the lot and it was the cheapest of cheap old Nissans I have ever seen. When you hit the gas, it sounded like it was in pain. Of course, we got rerouted because of a bad storm which came down the whole 1+ h drive andddddd the windshield wipers were faulty. They needed replacing so bad, it was useless to ever try. So I drove in heavy rain and the dark to WDW from Melbourne with almost no visibility. I will am done using Enterprise permanently. I will use whatever I can with my accumulated points to get my full value but I am never using them again and I suggest the same to whoever reads this. read more

I when to enterprises in Melbourne this morning and after 2 hours waiting the manager in charge told me he did have any cars available. while I when on line step outside the location and immediately I was available to do a reservation. Enterprise is A-OK. I would go there again. When I arrived there was nobody at the counter. Somebody at the adjacent rental company counter told me, "she'll be right back." Ten minutes later she came back. Check out was quick and easy. It's a small airport and the rental companies are inside the terminal. It was a short walk outside to the car. The Toyota Camry I rented was pretty new and very clean. A little odd it didn't have a key fob for unlocking the doors. It's been a long time since I actually had to use a key to open a car door. Because it's such a small airport, when you being the car back, you just park it, go in the terminal, and self-report the mileage and gas tank level and turn in the keys. If this was my first time using Enterprise it probably would be my last. The young man that helped me when picking up the van was ok, not much of a personality, but he was young, probably uncomfortable working with people. When I arrived at the van i noticed a few items left in the vehicle from the last renter. When I got home I noticed the vehicle was filthy, never seen one this dirty. I needed to get the trash out and vacuum before my morning trip. The vehicle was just fine operationally. When I returned the van I told the gentleman on duty about how dirty it was and he apologized and took the tax charges off my bill, I used points for the rental, and a free upgrade next rental. They saved my "6" with a rental on July 5th after my accident on July 4th (not my fault). My fleet company was going to send me to Orlando until I remembered little ole Melbourne International! Great service, car was clean and was pleasantly surprised how well the Chrysler 200 performed. Great gas mileage for a medium size vehicle. Awful !! I will never give you business again. I will never send business your way. I made a reservation for Thursday in an effort to evacuate for hurricane with my family, they called me while I was boarding up my home at 11:30 the day before my reservation and told me I had 30 minutes to get there because they were closing and all the vehicles were being taken away. I was told I could get my car on Saturday after the hurricane passed through. Thank you Enterprise of Melbourne . You suck! Never again! Totally unprofessional. You could've given us a little more warning. My family hates you!! The customer service was excellent and was out of the airport quickly, however what I am rating them on is the quality of the rental car. I picked up my car on 2/16 and the agents were great. They did not have any of the cars the I had reserved so I was "upgraded" to a Ford Flex. The car outside was recently washed but all of the windows were so smeared it was hard to see thru windshield when driving at night. The interior of the car was badly stained especially the passengers seat. After driving the car away I then notice that as I try to clean windshield with windshield wiper cleaner that it is empty so I had to purchase some and fill it. Then after driving a night for the first time I get pulled over by the police because one of the headlights are not working. This car had 33500 miles on which was a lot more than I am used to seeing on rentals but not too excessive. The customer service at the counter does not make up for the poor quality of the cars available for rental. read more

I will normally make reservations weeks in advance, and the Enterprise team has never left me hanging without an available car (unlike some others who shall not be named.) The cars are clean, they are smoke free, and I really value that.
