Now...I MAY be jumping the gun a bit here. But I'm gonna go out on a limb and rate this place as "top notch" in terms of ease when renting a vehicle. Because as far as first impressions go, their customer service appears to be quite stellar. In this instance, I acquired a rental via my insurance company after experiencing my first ever collision due to inclement weather and a tree (not my finest hour; still salty about it). And no...no one was hurt. Shame I can't say the same for my ride. Anyways, the way it works is...Enterprise actually syncs with whatever collision shop you're being serviced by and literally meets you there the day you drop off your car. You sign the digital contract on their tablet and you're on your way with a brand spanking new rental. Okay, so...one caveat here: you *probably* don't need the additional insurance they always try to sell you. BUT...should you slip up in an error of judgement and somehow purchase the additional insurance for $27 per day in 2026 monies like I did, fear not! For you can easily cancel this superfluous coverage. Just take the rental back to Enterprise and make your request to customer service in person to amend your contract and cancel. That's it! My guess is most people who purchase this unnecessary add-on never bother attempting this either because.. A.) They don't care about money. B.) They seriously believe they NEED this redundant coverage. C.) They falsely assume once it's purchased there's no going back. Keep in mind, this service is charged by the day. That alone implies that cancellation is totally within your right. Just figured I'd share that hidden tidbit. Thank you for attending my Ted Talk. :D All jokes aside though, I've never really had any significant problems with Enterprise in general. Tragically, car rental businesses appear to be one of those commodities which causes customers to be quite divisive in their reviews. A quick look at their history here and you'll see reviews on either side of the extreme. Call it a staple of our times. Go figure! While I may update this review in the future should anything happen to change my mind, I'm gonna give Enterprise in Merrimack 5 fancy rentals with that new car smell out of 5. read more

I made an online reservation with Hertz.com for a mid-size SUV. I paid $154.40 online, specified when I needed a pick up, and thought all was well. Long story short: Hertz did not pick me up because of a staffing issue, told me I did not have good enough credit to rent from them, and refused to refund the full amount of my rental, saying I had cancelled. So, I called Enterprise, who I have rented from many times in the past. They picked me up, got me in the vehicle I wanted, and sent me on my way. The staff was friendly and helpful, it was convenient and easy, everything was up to the standard I have come to expect from Enterprise. Rest assured, I will not go to Hertz again. I'll use Enterprise from now on. Thank you for saving the day! read more

UPDATE: Just got a call from enterprise stating they "agreed to accept the rest of the damage if we agreed to never do business again". I find it hilarious that they think I would *EVER* want to give them a cent ever again. So just an FYI, if they do this to you, file complaints with the attorney generals in Missouri where they are headquartered and the state where you rented the car, and flood their social media. When they figure out that they violated debt collection laws, they'll back off of you. read more

I rented a Lincoln just before thanksgiving. The area behind the rear drivers side passenger seat roof was covered in what looked like vomit or blood. 8 business days after issue. And 6 business days after complaint made no a signal person from enterprise ops contacted me. The other Nashua location has been great the 2 other times I rented. On a positive- While I was return the vomit car, I overheard 2 people manning the phones working hard to find a discount for a caller. update to enterprise request. I had contacted your companies customer care less department via Twitter. 9 business days later an actual person from your company contacted. 9 days. Issue is more than just at this shop. Only reason I used them was because of the body shop. I was hit by another driver. Enterprise could not get paid by GEICO so they charged my "incidentals" card. Wasn't even my insurance company. What a terrible way to conduct business. Weak company. Even double dipped on gas. I left tank with more gas than they gave me in vehicle and still charged me. Been fighting since July. read more

Just had one of the best rental experiences I remember. I do not own a car, and have been renting on a monthly basis since december 2012. Everytime I have a bad experience (which is VERY often) I switch to a different office or company. I'm now renting with Enterprise and just decided to try this office where I found a very good rate. I was almost certain that they would give me a car I wouldn't like, or worse than the one I booked with the "or similar" excuse. But in fact I got a very good car, slightly better than I expected, I have to admit. But even better than the car was the team there. I dealt with two your gentlemen who were incredibly courteous and friendly and even though I had to wait for the car for a while, it was completely worth the wait and would definitely book with them again. read more

Stay away from this rental place. I had the miss fortune of being stuck with them due to an issue on a car repair. Firestone hired them to provide me a rental for 1 day which was to be covered by charging Firestone. I was charged instead (or more likely they charged both of us) I found out by seeing it on my bank statement. I contacted them and they assured my that it would be taken care of, well it has been over a month it has not been refunded. As it was the car provided was a dirty and over-sized Buick. They are impossible to reach by phone no one answers. Took close to hour to be picked up. read more

I can understand an under-staffed office but the communication here is lacking in the extreme. I called on a Friday afternoon with a reservation already set for a small sedan and was told we'd be good to go. I show up at the lot after work and the only car available is an SUV. I've never had a big car and I hate the idea of commuting with a gas guzzler. I told the rep this and they assured me they'd have a sedan on Monday and I could call in and come back to switch it out. Monday rolls in and I call in the morning giving them the whole story and they assure me that they have a sedan waiting for me. I leave work early and drive an hour out of my way to drop off the SUV and pick up the sedan. The catch? No sedan has been set aside and none is available. No note was left for the guy wrapping up the day and, while he was really nice, I literally do not have time for this. I can't leave work early again this week and I work another job which will keep me from getting out there in the morning. The slogan may be "We'll pick you up" but so far it's been a total let down. read more

This location is great! I got into a bad car accident over the summer and needed a rental car. The Main St location didn't have any cars available so I decided to try this location and I am so glad that I did. I was still really shaken up from the accident and I was having a difficult time trying to decide on a car (I knew I would have it at least for a month while everything was happening with the insurance). The gentleman who helped me, I believe his name was Darin, was so amazing. He pulled about 4 cars around for me to sit in and see what I felt most comfortable in. I was stuck between a Camry and a convertible Mustang and since I was so nervous from my accident my first instinct was to go with the Camry. However, I ended up going with the convertible Mustang and it was the best decision ever! I had the rental for 6 weeks and after I got out of my slump of being scared to drive, I was able to enjoy an amazing fun convertible for the summer. The customer service here is excellent and they really helped make the process easy for me. Highly recommend. read more

I got into an accident and needed a rental for a month, while it was being fixed. I rented my car through Enterprise in Nashua, NH. They were prompt and professional. They sent me a new Ford SUV. It was a great rental. I actually miss it! My insurance did not pay for the last day and I was not informed about it. I talked to Enterprise about my displeasure. It was clearly an issue with the insurance company. Joe at Enterprise took care of this for me and is going to seek reimbursement to get the additional day from the Insurance Company. It was so nice to have such great customer service! I would highly recommend Enterprise! read more
