I was involved in an accident and used this business to rent a car while my vehicle was being repaired. I dealt with the most amazing people there. Jawan (sp?) at the Muskegon location was beyond helpful!! His customer service skills are the best I have witnessed in a very long time. Kind, patient, considerate. Absolutely terrible management "Dren". I had a $300+ item stolen when they "cleaned" the car and Dren did nothing to help out. Took me a month to get an answer on my stuff and still they did nothing to help out. She offered a free rental but it was for one day.... What is one day going to do for my $300 item. Will never be back there and tell anyone I can to never go there. People working the front desk are always nice and helpful, sucks they have a terrible manager with no morals. read more

Me and my kids stayed in Muskegon for a couple days. Long story but we were unaware Uber or Lyft would be impossible to get. Thank Goodness for enterprise! Enterprise from the beginning was exceedingly difficult to work with. Having collision repair on my new vehicle, I needed transportation from home to the local hospital for work. My insurance covered the cost of the vehicle, yet shortly thereafter Enterprise sends me a $50.00 bill for the taxes. This was paid by myself, yet thought to be odd. Enterprise informed my insurance I refused the first car that was available, which in no way did I ever. After returning the vehicle, Enterprise has now sent me a bill for $1409.78 for a "ding" in the door. I explained I never noted a ding in the door and Enterprise only alerted me by phone after returning the vehicle. Customer service is poor and at times attempts to coerce one to admitting fault. Which again, I was not. Avoid this company by all means. Poor moral compass and customer service. read more

Steer clear of this business. The employees are highly incompetent! My insurance rented a car for me after mine was stolen. They didn't have one available for two days. The car they gave me had expired plates, no windshield washer fluid, needed an oil change, and had something rubbing on the front tire. When I called to tell them that I was keeping the car for a few extra days, they couldn't find my reservation, told me I had already returned it on August 30th which obviously I had not, and that they wondered what happened to the car since it wasn't there! Then when I did return the car, they had NO RECORD of my insurance authorization and said I needed to pay the whole bill! I had the email with the paperwork but they insisted I contact my insurance company even though this was obviously their mess up!! read more

Walked over 2 miles to the site after reserving, only to be told no cars available despite confirmed reservation. Walk ups in front of me in line were given cars. Absolutely pathetic. Pathetic customer service at a less than attractive office. I had card issue and used their roadside assistance - then I was charged $400 and my deposit was kept. A claim has been opened and something as simple as a dead battery has turned into hours of paperwork and phone calls defending myself. Customer service is ridiculous at this location as well - no one wants to help anyone. read more

I will never attempt to rent from Enterprise again. I landed at the airport on time. I called the location to tell them I was on my way. They informed me that they would not wait one minute after their 6PM close time. I said, I will be there right at 6PM. They again said they would not wait one minute after 6PM. I arrived in the parking lot at 6PM sharp. My taxi driver said, "Look, they're running out the back door and getting in their cars." Worst customer service I have ever experienced. My company will take Enterprise off their list as options for all employees. Good news is there are other options. read more

Our car broke down while on vacation which was so upsetting. The dealership hadn't called us to tell us exactly what was wrong with it, so at 2:30pm the same day I made a reservation with Enterprise. I was told it would be ready by 4:30pm. We ubered to the rental place. As I was being helped by a gentlemen I don't know his name I was informed that they had no cars available. Somehow the guy helping me left and Bethany took over, I must say she was the most helpful and went out of her way to help me find a vehicle to rent. She called other locations and took the time to help me eventually get a car. Not only was she polite and sincere but she listened to my story. This place is getting 4 stars because of her. Every time I travel to Muskegon, I rent from Enterprise because of their price & their service. This time, after turning my car in, I was called by Brian to inform me that I had left my Bluetooth device in the car. Unfortunately, I have done something like this before at other rental agencies & then discovered my mistake. Upon calling, they have always acted like they have no idea what I'm talking about.....& there goes whatever I left behind, in someones pocket. If I could give zero stars I would. Where to begin? First time I came here with a reservation for 9, showed up 15 min late at 9:15, and there was no car available at that time. Came back later that day, and they couldn't rent me a car bc I didn't have a credit card in my name. What? Visited again today, husband says go pick up a car, bc my car is going in the shop, have a friend drive me from grand haven to Muskegon, with my kids o pick up a car that once AGAIN isn't there. Frustrated we go home, only to get a call saying the just had a car returned if I wanted to come back. Turn around, stop at a gas station to fill up friends car, all while on the phone trying to get through to the specific branch so there's no confusion, and guess what? She THOUGHT she had a car, so they are going to pick me up at home in grand haven later this afternoon instead. turn around again and at home. Never in my life have I been so frustrated. Almost wanted to sit in their office with my very cranky kids so they could get a taste of this life. Thank you progressive for making us deal with the worst rental company in the area. read more

BEWARE of last minute reservations. If you call the local number and push 3, (which says to make a reservation), you will be transferred to a call center. They will tell you cars are available even when they aren't. (If you push 4, you get the local office which will tell you the truth, I never got that far). When you arrive to the location, they THEN tell you cars are not available and they will transport you to a hotel (at your cost) and pick you up the next day when cars do become available. Super disappointing and a bad way of doing business. read more

Great facility. Very helpful with getting cars for us while visiting Muskegon for my son's wedding. Ended up needing an additional car for us and one more for my sister and her family. Enterprise came through. Only negative was cars were not very clean inside. read more

Enterprise is the way to go. If your going on a trip and you don't want to put those extra miles on your own then rent one from Enterprise. They were very helpful and friendly and spent a lot of time to go over the features of the car and any and all info you would want while renting a car.
