I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received when returning my rental on May 2nd. No one greeted or assisted me when I arrived--I sat waiting until someone finally asked if I was bringing the car back. Then, during the return process, I was told the rental wasn't actually due until May 6th. This was never communicated to me in advance. Because of that, I left work early to return the vehicle unnecessarily--only to now be told I need to return again on Tuesday, causing me to miss work twice due to your lack of communication. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. I expect better communication and basic courtesy from a company in your position. read more

I scheduled a pickup reservation for December 26th at 1:30 pm, made at 11:00 a.m. on December 24th. I received a phone call at 8:30 am on the 26th informing me that they were entirely out of stock. I inquired why I had not been notified at the time of booking, only to be told that the location closed at 3:00 PM on the 24th. My reservation was indeed made at 11:00 AM on December 24th. This location has proven to be the least satisfactory. I am now without a vehicle, and no alternative options are available. This is entirely unacceptable! Terrible location! 0 Stars They don't answer the phone and it always goes to the call center. They didn't have a car for me when I made a reservation a week prior. What is the point of a reservation? The cars are always dirty, they don't clean the cars at all. The car smelled of smoke and had dirt and & everywhere. This is multiple times. I've made note to the BRANCH management ( Dylan Thompson) and he don't do anything about it. I don't like it, but your better off renting at the MB airport. They have more cars and better service. The absolute worst rental experience I've ever had in my life. I asked for an invoice or a receipt acknowledging that they received the car and they refused to give me an invoice or receipt. It is now been five hours since I dropped the car off and I have not gotten a text message or an email acknowledging that I returned the car. When I asked for a physical receipt, they argued with me and argued with me and condescended to me instead of just being professional and giving me a piece of paper saying they have the car and that it is in excellent condition just like I received it. They kept telling me over and over again that their system was down. This is a $1 billion publicly traded company and they cannot provide a customer with a receipt or an invoice when you drop off the car. Absolutely shameful. read more

I have a house fire my vehicles was park too close to my house and my vehicle got burned I have full coverage insurance On the day of the rental the guy that process my rental I told him what was going on and the limit that my insurance company gave me which is $900 for 30 days he told me that after taxes and fees I would probably pay out of pocket around $200 I agreed! when I got the vehicle I had to send it back to be cleaned it smells like someone light 100 cigarettes inside, when they did bought it back it smells the same way I had to stop and get air freshener to try and get the scent out for days I could not put my baby in the truck. Because of the situation with my vehicle it was deem a total loss, I had the rental for over thirty nine days every time I could call for a extension I purchasing my new vehicle in Atlanta perimeter had no choice but to returned the rental at a local office here at the time they were close so I did not get a printed invoice or a emailed one the customer service at the time told me to go ahead and call the office I got the vehicle from and they will issue me a receipt I called the office spoke with one of the agent there who told me that my rental was over $2200 i immediately drove over to the office and asked for a print out when I got the print out they had their insurance added on for over $700 i asked why was I charged that amount the guy told me that I agreed to it when I did not! He immediately said no worries it would be back on your card 3-7 business days I waited over that time frame but gotten no money back they did not applied my money back to my card! I called today 10/22/2021 approximately 8am and spoke to someone there by the name of Dillon who claimed that he's the manager there and he did not see a refund or any note stating that I should get a refund and it is my second time requesting refund from his company and I should do myself a favor and don't ever come to enterprise to rent any vehicle and he refused my refund! I'm hoping the area manager looks into this enterprise rental service will never be enterprise if It wasn't for customer like myself that's why you have a job! I reserved a car from Enterprise and pick up was 5 Sep 911 Jason Blvd, Myrtle Beach (#1965296724). My friend and I traveled from NYC and DC and we planned our trip around this. When we went up to pick up the car, we found that the location was closed. We called customer care and we were told we could go to the airport to pickup another car and pay 6 times the rent we originally reserved a car for. Customer service said they would call me back and find a resolution, but they don't know when they would call or what resolution there could be - amazing! I got a car here for a couple of days and had good service. The checkout guy was friendly and personable. There wasn't much of a line at the checkout counter. Since this is a relatively small airport, it's an easy walk to the check out counter and to the lot. Returning he car was easy and there was no wait. I decided to return early and got the extra hours I had reserved removed from my bill without a problem. This airport is unusual in that you can walk from it into town if you're inclined and don't have more than a backpack as luggage. read more

The experience I had with my recent rental car is beyond comprehensible. My family and I were driving back from Naples, FL on 11 July heading north on I 75. After driving for a little over an hour we got a flat tire. I pulled to the side and went to change the tire but the spare had no air. I called Enterprise roadside and they stated they could not help due to the fact that I was not a safe location and they instructed me to hang up and call 911. I called 911 and about 15 minutes later 2 Florida troopers showed up. They stated due to the size of my family and all the luggage they could not transport us off the interstate. I called back roadside assistance and they still refused to help even after the trooper said they would stop traffic to get this family of 5 off the side of the highway. Keep in my enterprise was just ten miles down the road and the trooper even asked if they would just send someone to pick us up or bring another tire but still refused to help. This went on for over 2.5 hours with us stuck on the side of the road with 3 children. I was constantly hung up and told to call back after we got to safe location. Finally we were able to get to a hotel and roadside sent an Uber to take to airport and get a replacement van. After we finally got back to Myrtle Beach I returned the car and spoke to the manager about my experience. I asked for the contact number for the regional manager and he stated he cannot give that out but he would send his boss my contact information. To this date no one has contacted me about my horrible experience. I pray this doesn't happen to another family. read more

Due to the pandemic, renting a car at 20 to get home from school was a difficult process. Went to 2 companies that were completely unhelpful and spoke to many more over the phone. Finally we decided to try enterprise. We were greeted with employees who genuinely wanted to help and do what they could for us. A week before the actual rental was needed, we were told all is good, reservation is set and to just show up the next week. The next week rolls around and I received a phone call saying that I needed more documents after I asked 3x if I was all set and was told yes. They said oh never mind and told us to come for the rental. Morning of rental again, a different employee and another change of rules, which was frustrating, but considering the age and circumstance we understood. They eventually handled the issues and hooked us up with a great deal, great car & great costumer service. read more

Anytime I rent a car when I'm going out of town I always come to this location my last visit was this past April when I went to Charlotte for my birthday weekend and I can honestly say that the process was quick and easy like always. I've probably had maybe one or two issues with enterprise before in the past but they always handled the issue with no problems. The worst customer service ever. BE WARNED! If you show up with a debit card, you also have to produce two utility bills to prove your address - yeah right, we all carry utility bills with us. And if you are married and have a credit card in your husband's name, forget that too. Two forms of legitimate payment that works at any other establishment while at this POS location, they would not take either one. They said I had to call two utility providers which I asked if they could do since they needed to information. Person who waited on me said she wouldn't do that and then proceeded after making me wait for 15 minutes to tell me I was ruining her day and she walked away. Only after another employee who overheard this came to the rescue and called Time Warner/Spectrum who took another 15 minutes to verify my existence. Normally I rave about this Enterprise location but today completely changed my perspective. I used my Enterprise App to reserve a car and followed through the prompts as required. Because I wouldn't be ready to pick up my car until that evening, I selected the latest pickup time offered; 6PM. I arrived at Enterprise at 5:54 to pick up my rental and was surprised to see someone locking the doors as I approached the building. As I attempted to open the now locked door, I saw 2 employees inside watching me struggle. I mouthed to one of the women that I had a reservation to pick up. At that point a women walked over and unlocked the door to pop her head out and say they were closed. I told her I had a reservation for 6 o'clock. She proceeded to tell me that they had already locked the car keys in a lock box for the night and that they had closed. Apparently it doesn't matter if you have a scheduled reservation. I don't understand why a business would offer reservations for a certain time knowing that the store would already be closed and unable and unwilling to honor said obligation. Additionally, there were still two people in the lobby trying to finalize their transaction. So they can get keys out of this uncrackable lock box but I can not?! All they would offer me is to be sure to help me first thing in the morning. That would be great if I had not already had a confirmed reservation for the night before!
