Do not go here!! they will steal from you and then try and gaslight you and say you never left anything. This place is run by liars and thieves!! I accidentally left my work table in the trunk after dropping off the car after a long day. I arrived right before they closed and ran inside to drop off keys.. I realized the next morning that i left my table. I called multiple times and they insisted that if i left it, the detailer would find it, but then claimed it wasn't there. The table was 100% was in the car trunk. I should have double checked instead of trying to get them out of work in time. These enterprise employees are liars! Danny, Cam, Bry, Mel, and Eli are liars and thieves. I've called corporate and filed a complaint, but don't want others to get swindled. Do not go here unless you want to work with liars and thrives! Either the detailers (Mel & Eli stole the table or they didn't correctly do thier job and check the car like they are supposed to when it gets returned) or it was stolen by Danny (manager on the next day and person trying to gaslight me every time i called in the morning and then multiple times during the day following up & also there when i showed up in person, really he is an all around horrible un empathic lying individual) or Cam and Bry stole it when I dropped off the car the night before. (however, they were both very nice when i picked up and dropped off the car the day before) However, one of these employees did STEAL . my nice folding table and then lied to me and repeatedly tried to gaslight me saying i never left it. Protect yourself and Don't go to this location that tries to gaslight you into thinking you didn't leave an item instead of admitting they stole the item, or does their job correctly. i could of picked up my table that next morning.(This is just a table i'm sure they stolen dozens of things left accidentally) if i could leave negative stars i would!!! I didn't know cars well and they put me into a smelly, old, outdated, old man car because I wasn't an aware customer. They wanted to get rid of the rentals no one would want and they saw me as a target. They are chavunisistic and think they can get away with what they want. Rental car agencies are like video rental shops. They live to add surcharges and penalty fees to your bill. They have superhuman gas tank estimation skills. They have wall mounted atomic clocks that can tell if you're returning your vehicle late. They have detailing surcharges, mileage surcharges, optional insurance coverage, inexpensive upgrades, and GPS units for rent. Renting a single car involves declining more offers than a debutante at a cotillion. None of that applies to this Enterprise office. They're nice. They're fair. They're reasonable. They return phone calls. They have spotless cars ready to go whenever their doors are open. Literally, these folks have saved my life in 2014. I wouldn't have been able to settle down in Connecticut without them, after my own Toyota Camry was destroyed by snow and ice. Whoever rated them before me, and gave them two stars, is wrong by approximately -- hold on, just doing the math here -- wrong by three stars. read more

When renting from any car rental center, I expect cars. I don't expect a lot of variety, necessarily, considering there are so many different price levels, but I do expect cars to be present on the lot. This is not what I experienced at this Enterprise. I made a reservation with plenty of notice--more than 24 hours in advance--and received a phone call from this rental center a day prior to my pickup. Everything was going so well, that is, until I arrived to pickup the car. When I arrived at the time of my reservation there were literally 0 (zero!) cars on the lot. I had plans to meet my friends at a nearby train station before venturing into New York for the weekend. All of the times were coordinated--the train my friends took, the time we planned to arrive at our destination, the time additional people intended to show up. I did not expect the plan to be impeded by the rental center not having any cars. Anyways, I had to drive with an agent at the rental center to another location 20 minutes in the other direction. The only reason I'm giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because she was so nice. Be warned: This is not the first time this location has had not had any cars according to other people I've spoken with. This location is pretty small, and I was told this happens more often than not. So, if you're making plans that hinge on a timely pickup of a rental car, this isn't the place. read more

I have used this Enterprise office several times. I want to give a shout out to Jevon T. S-V who worked at the Amity Road office. I rented a car there in September (sorry this is so late) and he was terrific. He was very thorough, friendly and courteous. His cheerful, yet professional attitude, was a perfect welcome to a weary traveler. Of course, the vehicle was nicer than I expected (upgrade!) and I was very satisfied. Reserved a car several days in advance. Said I would be there at noon. Arrived at 3 pm due to multiple delays coming from JFK. When I arrived to pick up the car the Manager yelled at me, saying that he had given the car away and all the cars were gone. He said everything was done by time and he had been trying to call me all morning. I checked my phone records. I had not received any calls from him that entire day. Now I know I got in late, I still do not ever expect to be yelled at or lied to. Ever. Business is about customer service. Civility and respect are important at all times in any type of interaction. I have never had this experience at any other Enterprise branch or other car rental company before. I will use another branch and give my money to folks worthy. read more

I reserved a full size car and was "upgraded" to a Jeep Patriot, a four-cylinder gutless wonder that shook like it was going to stall when idling, and could barely get me into traffic on the Parkway. The same agent that "upgraded" me also gave me the extremely annoying hard guilt-sell on their insurance options. (which I declined) And to make matters worse, the windshield was UTTERLY FILTHY when I picked up the car. Had to wash it myself when I got it back to my house. The agent on duty when I brought it back was very apologetic and told me that he'd give me an upgrade on my next visit, but Enterprise should be more proactive about providing excellent service. read more

I have never been treated so rude by someone in customer service before!! They were completely unclear, short patient, and disrespectful. They had me under the impression that I was to pay $203.66 upon the return of the vehicle, and the very next day there was an UNAUTHORIZED transaction to my card of $703.66. When I contacted the "manager" in regards to the matter she became rude, hostile with her tone of voice and at the end hung the phone up on me.
