I would give this zero stars if I could. No communication, no follow-up, zero customer service, and random billing for an insurance rental agreement. I was told one thing by the insurance company and the repair show, and Enterprise did the exact opposite. Despite my reaching out (after being threatened with legal action??????), my inquiries went somewhere into the ether. I sent more than 10 emails in hopes of better communication and received zero response. I would absolutely NOT recommend this Enterprise location and after this experience, Enterprise in general. read more

I had a reservation with Enterprise, but the day I came to get the car, they advised they did not have the car available. All they could do was apologize. The second time I made a reservation, they called me the day before to let me know they were not going to have the car available. At least they called ONE day in advance. Unfortunately, by the time Enterprise notified me, no other place had a mini van available either. Do not rely on having a reservation with this company unless you can use them as an excuse to not make the trip you planned for. You have been warned! read more

For reference, the reservation number was 1291193026. Reservation was for noon, 03/17/2023. Enterprise called me at 8:15 AM and told me they did not have a car available. This reservation was booked in advance and confirmed. It was suggested that I try branches 60-90 miles away on my own to try to find a rental. The receptionist told me that this happens a lot. Something really needs fixed, surprised you can still remain in business like this. read more

I needed to rent a car last minute because my car wasn't going to make a long trip through mountains. I was worried about prices and car availability with only a couple days heads up. I looked at a few different car rental places that were locally available and enterprise was by far the best deal. When I went to pick up my car the process was the fastest I have ever encountered when renting a car! Enterprise gave me the option of doing some pre-registration online, I'm so glad I did! The lobby was clean, cool on this hot day, and everyone behind the counter was friendly! I got a Hyundai Sonata and it was clean and in good condition. When I returned the car it was another quick, easy experience! No hidden charges, I never felt like they were trying to pressure me into any extras. I will definitely come back anytime I need a rental! I especially thought the manager that helped me return the car was the perfect balance of friendly and efficient, a true professional. read more

I have rented cars here for years and have always been treated exceptionally well. This past week, I rented a pick up truck to move some things for my daughters wedding and at the same time took my sister in to rent a car since she was in town from Georgia for the wedding. For my part, Ron made sure I had a truck that was satisfactory to my needs and was extremely helpful. My sister, who does not normally rent cars, was confused on a few things and was almost unable to complete her rental, but thanks to Ron and his awesome customer service, he was able to assist her in the most courteous and professional manner and get her into her much needed rental. Apparently, Ron was only there helping out temporarily, but I am sure glad he was. He definitely went above and beyond and it is clear he not only is good at what he does, but takes pride in making sure every customer is taken care of. Thanks so much! read more

Your service IS NOT customer friendly! My mother needed a rental car while hers was needing an airbag replacement due to a recall. Her car is now repaired so she called and asked if someone could come and get it. You know what they told her? "NO. If we do it for you, we'll have to do it for everyone" REALLY???? She is 83 years old and not in good health. What happened to your campaign of "Enterprise...we'll pick you up" ? Terrible customer service! call me 614.422.7952 and another thing, I used your service in Feb 2018 while my car was in the shop after I was rear-ended. My insurance covered the rental but when it was dropped off, I was charged a $30 "refundable" charge out of my own pocket. Guess what? I never got the refund! I use this Enterprise location whenever I need to rent a car for business or play. Great service, great staff and great cars.

I booked a reservation with my local Enterprise through Priceline. I was given a confirmation number and confirmed booking for Thanksgiving week. What the truth was, is they had NO actual cars available they day before Thanksgiving.Despite Priceline booking and confirming. So far I have contacted Priceline they will NOT take resposbility for the "FALSE" booking, and it is now Thanksgiving Day, and not only am I still out of a vehicle with No follow-up . I will NOT be seeing my family for Thanksgiving, due to this "False" booking that occurred between Price and Enterprise. BOTH companies are just passing the buck, on who actually is responsible for showing these cars available but REALLY they where not. They also claimed they contacted my local branch to talk with them today, while I was on the phone. Well, guess? The local branch is closed today so no way possible they even had this conversation with Enterprise. So, they lied about contacting them to help resolve my issue. What's even sadder so far is NO ONE wants to take OWNERSHIP of the error.So, unless a miracle happens and one of them tries to make it right. I will make sure EVERYONE is NEWARK knows about this poor customer service at this Enterprise location. I also will NO longer do business with Priceline for ANYTHING, because they are now doing poor business practices, as it is acceptable to LIE to the consumers. Recently used this Enterprise location when traveling back to Ohio to visit family. I rented a standard sized car because the Enterprise website stated it was a jetta and being 6'8" I know that it's one of the only cars they have that would allow me to drive comfortable. Unfortunately when I got there they only had a Kia available and I was certain that wasn't going to work with me. To my surprise they were willing to meet me in the middle offer me a larger vehicle for a lower price than normal but fortunately the Jetta they normally rent out showed up while I was doing paperwork. I offered to come back later after they had a chance to clean it up. Upon coming back they had all my paperwork ready and all I had to do was check damage and sign the contract. Midway through my trip I decided to change plans and drive to Kentucky and needed to leave the rental there. I shopped around online and found one of their competitors was considerably cheaper to use for one way trips and called to see if this location could give me a better price. Once again they offered to meet me in the middle of pricing and made me a happy customer. This kind of customer service is why I continue to use Enterprise for all my rental needs. worst car rental experience ever!!! I needed to rent a truck in mid december to move some furniture. I rented a Dodge Ram two weeks ahead of time to ensure I had everything needed before I took the day off work to move. On Monday December 19 I went to pick up the truck at my 9:00 scheduled time. The woman at the counter asked if I would prefer a Ford Expedition. I told her I would not, as I needed a flat bed to move furniture. She then told me they actually had no trucks on site at the moment.????? WTH ?? if you reserve a car rental, isn't it supposed to be there when you pick it up? After telling her how upset and frustrated I was, she called their Zanesville office. THey in fact had one, but it would be almost 2 hours round trip to go pick it up. I did not have that kind of time to wait. So mad!!!!! And only after complaining and ask what she was going to do for me, she offered me a $50 credit on a future rental. THanks, but no thanks. THat doesn't ever cover what i originally was going to have to pay and I will NEVER rent from Enterprise again! read more
