We were given a receipt to give to the attendant to exit the lot. We landed in Philly at 6:30 am and were in Ocean City, NJ by 8:30 am walking on the boardwalk! I always dread the car rental lines and extremely slow process of them trying to get you to upgrade and sell you insurance you don't need. This was the easiest, most expedited car rental process I have ever used! I will be renting from them from now on when I travel to the NJ! We finally got ahold of our driver, who we woke up. Needless to say we did not have time to wait for the driver to wake up and get ready. Due to the size of our party we had to take two vehicles to the airport and park in the garage, not economy, due to running late after waiting 30 minutes past pick up time before we found out we weren't getting picked up. Xavier offered to pay for our parking at the airport and offered his apologies the day of the flight. Upon our return we tried to sync up to give him receipts as requested and get a check in person like he requested. After a month of trying I finally am leaving this review I text him, I can see read receipts, and no reply. He offered to pay for our parking and then ghosted us. This on top of not showing up at all when we booked is reason enough to look elsewhere.

After completing all of the paperwork, I was told that my personal auto insurance was not enough to cover rental at this time. They suggested that I change my insurance coverage to meet their criteria. Wow! Now, I'm in search of a local rental agency as I need one for a short vacation. I had to bypass Penquin. It's sad because we have (local church) used your services in the past with no problems.

The best taxi service ever. I was using uber to get to the airport in the morning when I was…read morescheduled to travel for work. Most of the time it was a crap shoot but fairly reliable. On Tuesday last week I needed to be on time and I did my usual routine and got up an hour early to be sure I could snag a ride. First driver was 7 minutes out cool. 3 minutes later she cancelled. I got another one, 12 minutes still great. Guess what? Cancelled! I hit it right back and then seconds later he cancelled. Then there was no cars available after that. So now I was worried. I went to Google and the first few listings where either out of service or just did not pick up the line. I ordered another uber. and at this point and they informed me that they were operating at a 12x surge pricing. I was now in desperation I accepted this and ordered another car. Guess what, 4 minutes later he cancelled no reason given. I went on yelp and started calling one car service after another. Finally I called X-Cel Car Service and they were polite helpful and understanding. They sent me a new, clean smelling sedan. I cannot be more pleased with their service. I would highly recommend as a primary option if you would prefer a stress free commute.
