Does not answer phone calls, and if they do after many tries, they put me on hold for average of 15~20 minutes and just hangs up the phone. I call them back since my hold was disconnected, and they get angry, telling me there are customers they have to deal with in front of them. I did not rush them, and just waited on hold as they told me to do so, but it doesn't matter to them. After spending few hours just to talk to them, I finally get to make a request a copy of an rental agreement, which took less than a minute. Manager tells me that he will send me a copy, then ignores all the calls and texts afterwards without sending me the copy. This happened several times and I'm not going to call or have business with them again from now on.

So, that is what business my review is based on. In any case, we received professional and courteous service from one of the female employees there. Everything was handled outside for our safety and the safety of the other employees, due to COVID-19 of course. I believe it was a slightly older Nissan Sentra base model that we got. There was no lane assist and the rental agent offered to upgrade me, but I declined as I just wanted to stick with the price we settled on. Despite the slightly unsettling warning signal that came on about checking the oil and needing maintenance from day one, nothing bad occurred with the car or any service received from pick up to drop off. We were satisfied with everything. I think I do prefer lane assist if available I've learned, especially on the busy expressways, but we managed without it. I would rent from this location again if needed.

They gave me a 7 car passenger like new car, I thought it would be like an old car for the price but don't think bad after your sure... We paid 170$ including Taxes for 2 days, got it 11am n returned around 10pm at next day. The return time was at 6 pm,( they close at 6pm) so I called how much would be if i go after that time,(6pm)for my surprise the girl told me that as long as the keys are there for the next day in the morning at time they open, it wouldn't be an extra charge for return , so i retuned the car at 10pm that night. So I did. Tip.. say u want to return car at 6pm or 6:30pm..when making your reservations. if u are running late, just call in the afternoon that day u will return and say how much is for late return ...n hopefully they tell u this like me.. I will definitely comeback to this place.

He checked me in, said he didn't have a car for me and would try and get one from another location. He asked me to sit and wait; this is pretty normal and not a problem at all, so I sat and waited. 20min goes by, the lady paid the $50 deposit and got her car. The customer after her paid his $50 deposit and got his car. That same employee (later says he's the manager) then comes back to me and says hey, I don't want you to have to wait, I'll just give you this car that I have, which seemed reasonable. We go to the counter and he asked me about which of the insurances add ons do I want to add, I told him none and he asks if I have my own insurance to add and i said no, that my credit card has auto rental protection. This guy is speaking to me like I have to add an insurance, so I push back and say to him, "do i have to add insurance because the website said that I do not." Even the auto insurance material on the counter says it is optional. And only then does he change his tune and say I wasn't required and would just be held personally liable and I said that is fine. We walk outside and he puts me in a 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage (Vehicle 8F4KHR); we walked around and inspected it, I signed and paid. Drove a mile down the road and could immediately feel that there is an issue with the car. It's driving as if the emergency brake is engaged. It is extremely slow at accelerating and kind of shaking. I drove it 1 mile and turned around and brought it back. I would have my young nephews in the car for the weekend and it would be unsafe for me to drive with them in that car, especially getting on to the highway. I explained to him the car is not running properly and is unsafe to drive. He told me all of the cars in the low budget range I chose run like that and that it is less than a $15,000 car, that is how they are. I said I can't drive that car, what can we do and he said I can pay to upgrade to a different car. I said okay, just cancel the rental. He said ok and excuses me to leave. I said I need a receipt. Why did he have me waiting 15 more minutes for a receipt because he didn't know how to print one. He had to call someone over the phone to assist him, during the course of that conversation he had introduced himself to the person on the phone as CJ. He was the manager of that location, which really surprised me due to our interaction. He told the person on the phone he voided the transaction and usually he would have to charge me for the day (Why would I get charged for the day for a car that is unsafe to drive and I couldn't use?). Finally he was able to print a transaction history document. Once I reviewed the document I found out I was charged $300 for a deposit, which I was never informed of ( I realized then that there is probably a difference in the deposit amount if you are renting through your insurance vs not). He said he told me, but he did not. He lies a lot throughout your interactions with him, I hope that any cameras inside also record audio, because he is very dishonest. I took a lyft home and got a ride to a another car rental place. They were super helpful; I had to wait even longer but they got me into a car that actually ran properly. This whole ordeal put me 4hrs behind on my plans. I would definitely not recommend this place at all, the manager is a liar and not well trained. Do your own research before coming in so that you know beforehand what to expect because they will not give you accurate information. And if they try to give you the car I mentioned absolutely do not take it, especially if you have kids. Enterprise has now been put on notice and if someone is injured they are definitely at fault. I'm a reasonable person, I simply wanted to rent a working car and I'm still baffled on why I could not be provided another working vehicle.

It may be a national car rental company, but it feels like a small family business. I appreciate the little touches and extra effort that go into treating me like I'm someone special! Mine and my wife's cars are not very old (2018 & 2017), but I hate putting miles on them, so I prefer to rent when doing road trips with the family! I've appreciated the great vehicles I've been provided and the upgrades when my requested vehicle size wasn't available. My most recent vehicle rental was a Kia Forte. What a great and fun to drive car with only 1,000 miles on the odometer! Plenty big enough for me and my wife to have a romantic weekend getaway to Asheville as well as AMAZING gas mileage! That's how I justify renting cars. If the gas mileage of a rental will save me a tankful or more verses driving my own vehicle + wear and tear of my own tires & brakes... then it's worth it. That 's why I always rent smaller, fuel efficient vehicles. PLUS, I tend to stress over my vehicle getting dings and dents and I'm less likely to want to drive off the beaten path in my own vehicle. Not to mention I'm always, always conscious of mileage. Renting a car frees me from ME!!! FINAL THOUGHTS To be totally honest, I haven't written a review before now because I wanted to keep this place a secret from the masses. But Ms. Warnyene and her son deserve my highest rating for a half decade of outstanding customer satisfaction. Pray that you have no problems because if you do, they will not help you. To add, I received very rude responses that were highly unprofessional, and even after being proactive and diligent reporting issues with a vehicle that was allocated to me. Only one representative was helpful in the very beginning who told me she notated my account and that after my rental was over that I would be compensated for a defective vehicle. I spoke to another representative who confirmed that they saw the notation and had instructed me to report this onto the website and also guaranteed compensation. After doing so, I waited over a week to get a response, saying that they were not going to assist and that there was no notation. It's highly convenient that they make it so that there is nowhere for you to call and no one for you to speak to. I am escalating this matter to another email address and hoping that there is a resolution, but I am also reporting this whole interaction and contacting my credit card provider to make sure that they also have eyes on the situation. Renter beware.
