Instead, I was met with the grumpiest old man behind the counter who couldn't have been more rude if he tried. He was flat-out disrespectful, talking down to me, and asking an endless amount of pointless questions that had nothing to do with simply renting a car. It felt like he went out of his way to make the process miserable. If this is how they treat paying customers, I don't know how this place is still in business. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs.

When he got back to this Pocomoke City office, he quickly got us a car so we could continue on to Chincoteague while our Jeep was being repaired at Nokes'. Given the scarcity of rental cars these days, we felt extremely lucky. And Wade worked through our car insurance company to give us their lowest rate. We felt so lucky to get a rental so quickly and at such a good rate. Wade was terrific. He, along with Nokes, saved our Eastern Shore weekend trip.

When I got to the place at 4:15pm, she told me that the website (that I had previously tried to book on) had more cars on it then she did and she only had a very small yaris (I needed a car with AWD or 4WD). Not a good experience and will not be renting from this Hertz in the future.

Rented a car from them at BWI airport. On my drive to Salisbury MD the car had a terrible…read morevibration. That was on Saturday and their Salisbury office is only open on weekdays. I went to Salisbury location at 8:30 AM and was told that they didn't have anything to switch out. Called Hertz and they sent me to Firestone to have it fixed. I spent most of the day trying to get their broken car fixed. Long story short they never authorized the new tires. So now they are going to have to come and tow it away. Meanwhile I missed a funeral viewing for the last of my father's siblings I wouldn't have flown to Maryland if I didn't have things that needed to be taken care of. I will never use that worthless company again. Horrible customer service. Beware stay away from them.

They are appropriately staffed with 1-2 people. While they are the happiest lot, they are courteous and professional, and get you in and out quickly. There's no need for a shuttle bus as the cars are in a lot just to the right as you exit the terminal. Being a small operation, there's no pre-assigned group of cars for Gold members, but you're in and out so quickly it doesn't really matter.
