Usually car rental places are a joke. But I was very impressed when I came here to get a car. There were two guys up front who were very nice, professional and efficient. They were taking care of everyone in a quick manner and were very friendly. I have never been more impressed with the quality of employee anywhere, yet alone a car rental place. No reviews. That's too bad. I've like the Enterprise model for years. I'm a huge fan of owning a decent car and using a rental for vacations. You have to look at the fine print. Different car rental places have different policies about what States you can drive in. Normally, it's not a problem, but if you are doing a cross country trip, it can matter. I like that they are close, and that they will pick you up, or drop you off. Their prices are good and the cars have been clean and nice. What's not to like. read more

I've always rented through enterprise but oh hell no ever again i went through a discount website because their prices were half of enterprise. i was excited to get my rental because my daughter had her first child, my first grandson! time to pay, here is were they act like USED CAR SALESMEN by telling me that they can't use my prepaid card? i've used the same card for years while i've rented from them before!!!! and they wouldn't do anything about it i even showed them on the website that it doesn't say anything about it " no pre paid cards " only CCds are not prepaid, bank cards debit cards all are prepaid so now i'm going to a competitor but i have to tell my daughter not coming till later read more

Hired a car from them as my insurance was paying for it due to an accident. These guys did not tell me that after a certain number of days I would be on the hook. They should be explaining what the policy covers and when and how much I would be getting charged. They just go ahead and allow you to rack up all the charges and hit your card. I will not be using these guys again, nor would I recommended them. Much better companies out there that will explain whats going on. read more

This location sucks! I always rent from Enterprise in Provo and never have had any problem but I had to rent from the Orem location because Provo was sold out. Should've gone to Budget it would've been cheaper. I rented a car for a 9 days and was charged for 14 days!! All because I used the night drop box to return the car. I did call them the next day and tell them I dropped off a car and used the night drop. He told me great they'd check it in, I just didn't think they'd check it 5 DAYS LATER!! I spoke with the manager and he told me that he needed proof that I returned it when I did before he would do anything. How about looking at your video surveillance. No we recorded over it at the beginning of the week. I'm currently fighting them on the extra charges with my credit card company. If you do rent from them DON'T USE THE NIGHT DROP!!! read more

I hadn't rented from Enterprise in American Fork, Utah for a couple of years as they have always rented me cars that were 1.5 years old. The detailing on the interiors and exteriors were clean but the condition was fair with stained seats and then the rep tries to convince me that the car is in "pretty good shape" adding insult to my intelligence. Recently I went in to give them in AF, Utah a 3rd try after my long hiatus from them (Rented from Budget in the meanwhile). I asked the gentleman what year is the car. He told me it was a 2013. I told him I wanted a 2014. After a couple of conversations with his manager he told me that there is a 2014 at the Orem office. Since I was using it for a business trip and I was pressed for time I offered to take the 2013 car to swap it out at the Orem, Utah lot. The young man at the American Fork lot was actually great to work with. He got me what I wanted and was trying to help me save time as he knew I was anxious to get going. He inspected the car I was to take down the Orem Enterprise lot. He inspected it and told me all I had to do was take the car down there, they will swap it out and the paperwork in my hand is all I need at the swap. I dropped my office down the street in American Fork to pick up for my business trip and headed to the Orem location. When I arrived at the Orem location, I told the gentleman there that I was swapping this vehicle from the American Fork lot for the 2014. He delegated my request to a young girl there who seemed immediately irritated that she was assigned to take care of this situation rather than taking a new customer. She appeared so annoyed, at who I thought was her supervisor, that she grabbed the wrong keys twice, pressing the "unlock" button in the lot trying to locate the blinking lights. Then I told her, I think its it's the grey one over there, and she sharply responded no that's not it. Well...I was right after 10 minutes of waiting for her to figure it out. Then she inspected the car and asked me where I drove from. I responded your American Fork location and had to get some things from my office right down the street from your AF location. Then she said, "...and it took you 1 hour to get here??". I then told her why don't you check the mileage on the car I drove first before you imply I went joy riding for an hour. I informed her I'm pressed for time and I have to leave 20 minutes ago. She handed me the keys and asked for my paperwork. I said, I need them for registration. She said she needed some information off of it. I let her have it while I took a few minutes to move my things into the new car. I went in to retrieve my paperwork and she was typing with one finger (clearly irritated & no mood to help me on the road) After minutes of watching this I told her I'm in a rush to get going can you hurry. She replied "these things take time". I grabbed the paperwork and told her she had the worst customer service and I will never bring my business here again. She simply said, "sometimes that happens sir". Never again! Don't rent from Enterprise Orem Utah location. They need to train their employees there more effectively. read more

If it were possible to give 0 stars, I would. I've been renting with enterprise for both work, and leisure, exclusively for years. I will NEVER rent from them again after my last experience! I went into enterprise for an auto claim rental. Things were fine. We had the car for about 3 weeks while our other was being fixed. Then out of the blue one day I get a text telling me I owe them $386 and that he (Ryan) was reporting the car stolen. What?! Turns out the insurance had stopped paying without letting me know. Rather than email me (my preferred method of contact - which I listed and reiterated about 5 times) to let me know that I needed to return the car, or pay for it myself, enterprise decided to just rack up fees for about a week, and then decide it was time to threaten me. Ryan sends me a text letting me know that he's reporting the car stolen...while I'm out of town at a funeral. I let him know that this was the FIRST TIME I'd been contacted, and that there was no way I could get it in until the next day. He agreed to that. The next day I got stuck at work a little late, and was literally on my way to meet my husband to drop off the car when I get a disgusting, threatening text again from ryan...letting me know that this was his "final warning" -- ooh scaaary. So I dropped it off at the closer location (which Ryan said was ok), and figured I'd call the next morning to square up what was owed etc, and work it out with my insurance on my own. Then the next morning, at 8:20 I get yet another text from Ryan that says simply: 40 minutes. Ummm...check your computer, it was dropped off. That's when my husband decides to call. He explains that we were out of town at a family funeral which is why it was a day late. He is then told by Ryan.."I dont care! Pay your bills, and quit stealing cars, and I won't have to [talk to your wife like she's an animal]". Needless to say, enterprise lost a lifetime customer in me, as well as a corporate account worth at least 3 week-long rentals per month...all because they employ incompenent ass holes like Ryan. This place was HORRIBLE! We got our truck stolen and needed and rental for 30 days, when we got our rental like the next night we were driving down i-15 and our tire blew and we barely made it off the freeway we had to drive with a flat tire. We called their AAA and it took 3 hours for them to get there and change the tire. The next morning we called because we wanted to switch vehicles and we needed a new one because we didn't feel safe. The guy told us to just go to heir vendor and get a new tire, so we went to their vendor and we had to pay $200 for a new tire because apparently their vendor doesn't pay for tires and that was the cheapest one they had and i even used a coupon to get a discount. Then we were promised free days because of the truck getting stolen they have some protocol well we didn't get that and got charged for the days so we had to come out of pocket AGAIN!! Then when returning the vehicle we went in and tried explaining the situation to him and he was so rude to us and calling us liars and luckily my partner had taken pictures of everything and he saw it was their vendor and all this stuff that we weren't lying and so he was like "sorry i was being an asshole." we had 5/8 a tank of gas so he said he would cover that and fix it where we were over charged. Well we went home and 3 days later we got charged in our account one for 5.71 and the other for 200.00 we were really upset but every time my partner called in they would say they didn't know why we got charged and then wouldn't fix the issue during this time we had noticed we lost our debit card and couldn't find it well i called enterprise one day on the 14th finally and spoke with him (he is the manager his name is Dallin) and he was like oh by the way we have your credit card I'm like you didn't call us or anything and you wait until the middle of the phone conversation to say you have our card... well the issue wasn't resolved and he just kept lying and lying and lying and when i would call him out on his lies and for not having integrity he would same smart renarks so i told him i was calling corporate and i did i still haven't received a call back. read more

Customer service is pretty horrible on a Saturday at 10:30am. Waited for a good 14 mins before anyone showed up at the counter. And when someone did show up they didn't help me at all, even though I stood at the counter the entire time. Again horrible on Saturdays. This place is a joke read more

From the truck rental side: The service was excellent. Fast and friendly. They even programmed the radio to 80's music for me. They showed me how to use the truck. And I was still out faster than any car rental company. They sold me the insurance too and they paid off, as the trailer hit the truck. I filled a claim and did not have to pay any more. They were friendly through that process too. I will be using and recommending this company again. read more

It was a good experience. The staff there is very helpful. It is hard to get through to them on the 801 number and when your actually in the store you can see why. It is very busy and sometimes they are low on cars and you have to wait a bit. But the cars are great, the pricing is great, I feel you get a good value. If they could improve on the time to get to the phone and also a few more employees to get people in and out quicker. It would also be helpful if they called you ahead of time if they will not be able to get to you or if there is no car for another hour so it would cut down on our wait time. I like how they greet you, call you by name and shake your hand when they are done. Nice touch. read more

This location is not a true representation of the Enterprise model. I rent Enterprise whenever I can because there customer service is excellent!! This location will never get my business again because of the way they treated my wife. My wife and 3 kids (6,5 and 2 weeks) were brought to this location to pick up their car because another location did not have it. The man that took them out to there car was rude and very impatient. The car had scratches on it and my wife said she would like note it on the paper work. We rent a lot and know the system. The man was annoyed and told her we did not rent from them and he could not help her, she would have to drive back to the original location and have them do it. He didn't have the paper work and told her he was really busy with other customers. My wife told him I am not driving back to the other location it has already taken 2 hours for me to get my car and my kids are hungry and irritated. He replied "what do you want me to do ma'am" and was very rude. Its a good thing I wasn't their because I would not have tolerated a man treating a woman with three babies that way who had just been through what she had no matter how annoyed or busy he was. The manager at the airport branch where we rented originally was extremely nice and apologetic and did his very best to get the situation taken care of. We understand things happen and appreciated his genuine concern and help. The (PVU) airport branch is a good representative of the Enterprise model. Charged me for a very minor "dent" ($500) but upon close examination of the underside it was very apparent that Enterprise had unsuccessfully tried to "fix" the blemish prior to the rental, making it only worse. We've been renting from Enterprise for years and never had a problem with them until this past weekend. I showed up to pick up my car at 10AM and didn't leave until 10:30 AM off the lot. I went back to take the rental today before 10:30 and they charged me an extra $20 for an hour even though I LEFT AND BROUGHT IT BACK within the same time frame. The guy that rented me the car proceeded to tell me it was a brand new car and only had 700 miles on it, because I guess Enterprise can only rent me used cars with 80,000 miles on it. I'll make the extra drive to Provo or American Fork to rent from now on. I don't need condescending jerks to rent cars from. THANKS! read more

We needed a vehicle to take seven people on a quick trip to Seattle. We signed up through Costco for a Grand Caravan minivan for three days. The Enterprise staff was friendly and good to work with. They didn't have what we reserved, but substituted an eight passenger Suburban instead without the normal cost increase. Unfortunately, it hadn't been cleaned and the gas tank hadn't been filled, so I had to wait for the cleaning and go fill up on gas before we could leave the city. While the service wasn't as good as at an airport, I appreciate having them available in our city. read more

Used to use Budget and realized that they are great at squeezing every last dime out of you. Budget will advertise the cheapest price online then once you make the reservation and plans and everything then show up to check out they say "Okay so including the deposit, your total will be $56,482". Okay not that much but it's always an outrageous amount more than what you're expecting. I was left in a pickle because of this just this week for a vacation I'd been planning for weeks, with friends depending on me to have a rental car. Sooo last minute I called up enterprise and they were super SUPER easy to work with and transparent about the total prices. I easily made a SAME day reservation for an entire week, I went to pick it up and it was probably the most smooth and quick process I've ever experienced when renting a car. I had the car within ten minutes of showing up, and this was during spring break by the way. Enterprise has earned my business forever, I've never been more pleased with a rental service. read more
