First time renting a car and going through Enterprise and it was a smooth experience (just got home two days ago so it's a recent review of the short-term rental and quick experience so far). Braden was very helpful and friendly and walked me through everything and was patient while I pulled up insurance info. They even called a day before I flew in to confirm my appointment. I dropped the car back off on Sunday when they were closed but had clear instructions and easily dropped it off. Overall a great experience without any of the usual hiccups you hear with renting cars sometimes. Easy Uber to the airport $8! read more

The staff was amiable, even though the wait was quite long, over 40 minutes, with only one person in front of me. But the staff was very apologetic, which I appreciated, so that did not cause any issues. I strongly recommend that before they give us the cars, they ensure the windshield wiper fluid is topped off, and no check engine light will keep dinging all the customers driving. This turned on before I even pulled out of the driveway at their place. I, unfortunately, could not wait any longer for another car, so that I couldn't go back in. I recommend they fix all the cracks in the asphalt outside. It makes it very difficult for people who are disabled with a walker to get around safely, and putting handicap buttons on the doors would be fantastic. I am still giving five stars, though, because the staff was amicable. read more

I waited a month to write this review just to make sure nothing fishy showed up on my credit card (I was once incorrectly charged by another rental company). Not the case here. Total opposite experience. Bianca was so professional and nice. Uber from airport to hotel down the street from Enterprise was $10. We walked from our hotel to pick up our rental. We were headed to a wedding in Grand Junction and needed to get on the road. It was not ready but Bianca quickly solved the problem. I often worry about salespeople trying to sell me unnecessary add ons, but she was not pushy. I always appreciate someone with a smile and kind demeanor- which she had. Great experience at this location with Bianca. Dropped car off 2 days later, left key in Dropbox, took Uber to airport for $10. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Showed up for my prepaid reservation, and they had no cars available. We were told by the manager to Uber to our hotel and show up the next day at 8am to receive our car. He showed up around 9:15am. He didn't provide the AWD mid-size SUV we'd ordered. We received an economy car, instead. We were contracted to return the car on a Sunday. This Enterprise is located in an area that receives an F grade for property crime on crimegrade.org. The next day, we got a call from the manager asking if we knew anything about damage to the windshield. We reported that there was no windshield damage when we dropped off the car. The only spot left in their lot when we dropped off the car faced a busy street. We had nothing to do with it. He said, oh ok, don't worry about it. 3 weeks later, we received a nearly $500 bill and a notice saying they'd contacted our car insurance. DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE. We had rented from them previously, and it wasn't a great experience. Again, we didn't get the car we'd ordered. We received a smaller vehicle. But we thought that was a fluke. Nope. Fool me twice, shame on me......I guess. read more

The positive: the vehicle was very clean The rest: Customer service rep that worked with us made me feel uncomfortable and uneasy about even renting the vehicle. She said things like "this is my baby so please be careful with it", "please drive carefully out there" (multiple times) and made it seem like it was her personal vehicle. And in text this sounds normal, but her tone, body language, facial expression, and general bluntness made me feel like I didn't even want to take the car. If she was so worried about it getting damaged why even rent it out? I was so uncomfortable and worried about anything happening that we even returned it early. We had it rented for a full day (24hrs) for almost $100 but we just used it for what we needed and took it back 5 hours later. I was in such a rush to take it back that I forgot to put gas in it, so I probably got charged more. I haven't checked yet. Lastly, I booked this rental through kayak. And when you're checking out it recommends you purchase insurance. I did, and when we got there I showed her the insurance email and she looked at it, looked at me, and said "I don't know what that is". I explained how I bought it through kayak and she then told me they don't take it and took our personal insurance information down before we could leave. All in all, the great cleanliness of the vehicle was not worth it. I do not recommend this location. read more

Would gave neg. feedback. Talked to branch manager Cache Morgan who refused to accept AMEX prepaid card AFTER rental was over. when I asked for regional manager info he said he does not have it. He did say that he decided not to accept those to prevent fraud. Since all other companies do accept those cards after rental and they don't have fraud it's good to avoid Enterprise sine their system is not offering fraud prevention and they have to rely on managers who barely finished high school and make final decisions. Attitude was also present. They made me feel like I woke them up at 3 in the morning in their house with question "can you loan me some milk" All that fake friendliness when you walk in, disappear when it's time to walk out. Enterprise do not care about their costumers so I will not spend my $ there anymore. read more

These guys are usually a solid 3-star business. Occasionally they'll totally screw things up (like not having your car available at the time of the rental), but most of the time they come through. From time-to-time they deliver at a 4-star level, and for the most part their employees are super nice. They're usually short staffed, though, and make sure you have a LOT of extra time when dealing with them. Speed is not their strong point. I'll keep using them because they're better than anyone else in Utah County. But honestly, that's not saying much. read more

Without question the worst car rental place I've ever encountered. First experience a few months back: I was in town for just 10 hours. It was a trip made at great personal cost, so I had made sure to make the car reservation weeks ahead, and confirmed by phone two days before the trip, explaining I had just 10 hours and a lot of work to do. They kept me waiting for almost 4 hours to get my car! They inadvertently rented out my car and had to find one from a nearby town. They kept stringing me along saying "it'll be just 15-20 more minutes", where I would have appreciated a more honest answer so I could look for alternatives, given my limited time frame. My second time I called and reserved a car, making sure they could pick me up at the airport. After arriving I called to let them know I was there, and I was told that they weren't allowed to pick up at the airport, that I needed to take a $15-$20 taxi ride to their office. What? Enterprise's entire business model is based on the "We'll pick you up!" motto, and now they were telling me they couldn't deliver on their most basic promise. After listening to the convoluted explanation about why they couldn't pick up at the airport (something about taxes, and licenses) , I offered to walk a mile off airport property and meet them by a nearby residential area, but they wouldn't do that either. When I asked what if one of the residents from that street rented a car, would they go pick them up? The guy got all huffy and curtly told me: "We're not picking you up. Period." One flub-up I can give a pass. Now a second one? This is no fluke. Clearly, this is a location run by folks who do not give much consideration to the customers' needs. I suggest looking for a different rental car provider in the Provo area. I know I will next time I'm in town. read more

Do not rent from enterprise! Our car did not have a spare and we had a blowout on a road going to Moab, UT. After calling enterprise roadside assistance 3 different time and being stranded for 8 hours. They finally told us they were unable to help us. Very poor customer service! We will never rent from them again! We had to set up a tow truck ourselves, and at least they were nice and concerned about my family's well being. Enterprise would have left us stranded. read more

Well, I'm so angry right now that I would give Enterprise a 0 if I could. The customer service was ok. When I was about to sign for the car after the paperwork was completed the enterprise employee tells me there is a $200 deposit required on top of the rental fee. I was never informed of this prior to my reservation. The website does NOT inform you of any deposit being required. I wasn't able to rent the vehicle because I needed the money I had to pay for gas. Bad business Enterprise. Be upfront with people about costs BEFORE they reserve a vehicle. read more

They came up with an all wheel drive Chevy equinox the next day and I headed out to ski for a few days on a trip I had planned for a year... they even discounted it so my insurance paid for the entire rental... I had an excellent experience at this location! I reserved a minivan for a week, with the hopes of getting a Town & Country because they come with a DVD player. Since Enterprise cannot guarantee a specific model of vehicle (which I understand), all I could do was hope. With the amount of driving I would be doing (over 1,000 miles), I knew having a DVD player would enhance my kids' level of patience exponentially. When I showed up to this location they didn't have a Town & Country, but they found a branch nearby that did. They arranged to have it held for me, and I was able to get a Town & Country. My kids were thrilled! What's more is my wife was thrilled! Had they not been able to track down a Town & Country that wouldn't have been the end of the world, nor would it have impacted my perception of the level of service provided to me. More important than a DVD player was being able to rent a vehicle that seated seven people, which they had several of parked on their lot. But the point I focus on is this: they tried. A company that is willing to try to satisfy reasonable customer requests is a company I want to keep using. I greatly appreciate the efforts made by the branch manager Cache and the other employees at this location. While I was at this location the phones were ringing, customers were picking up vehicles and dropping them off, and Cache and his team handled it all beautifully; cool as cucumbers as they say. They could not have been more friendly, accommodating, and professional. Also, the vehicle I rented was clean, it ran well, and it presented no issues at all while I had it. Upon returning the vehicle I asked for a ride home, which they seemed happy to do. Thank you for an excellent experience! I was given a vehicle, due to a accident. The customer service was ok. The representative did not let me know that I would be charged SO much money for not filling up the tank when returning the car!! That is so frustrating when I could barely cover the rental fee to begin with. I do not recommend no matter how clean their vehicles may be. If you go over so many miles, expect to pay a lot of money! I called to discuss the charge with an employee and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I had already dropped it off with no full tank! read more

Rented a minivan for a week with Enterprise. Was flying in on a Saturday, landing at 3:30pm. When I rented the car, I had the option of renting up until 8pm on the website. I decided to rent the car for 3pm in case my flight landed a little early. I got a call a week away from the vacation asking me to confirm my reservation. I confirmed and everything seemed fine. Less than 24 hours before my trip, I got another call asking me to confirm my reservation. During this call, they asked if I would be able to pick the car up at 2:30pm because they were going to close the doors at 3pm. I told them my flight would not land until 3:30pm, and told them at the time of booking, I was able to book until 8pm. I asked them what options I had. The options they gave me, were for cancelling the reservation, or changing it until Monday! That would either leave me with no car for the entire vacation, or no car for 2 days of the vacation, neither a very good option. When I explained to them, not only is it ridiculous for a rental car company to close at 3pm, but more importantly, they need to make that information known at the time of booking, so people aren't blindsided the day before or the day of their vacation, they seemed uncaring and just asked again if they could just cancel my reservation. I ended up scrambling to find another car less than 24 hours before my vacation. Luckily Budget had one car available that I could rent. I did end up paying an extra $200 because it was on such short notice. I will not be renting from Enterprise again. And certainly not from the Provo office where they don't seem to care what happens to their customers and are more interested in cancelling reservations and clocking out, so they can go home sooner. read more

The day before Thanksgiving, close to 4pm, I ran to the Enterprise in Provo with hopes its staff would be able to help resolve a reservation dilemma Hertz had put me in just hours earlier. A) It's a busy time to expect a car to be available without a reservation (which I originally had with Hertz), B) STRESS. I use public transportation around Utah and needed a vehicle to drive to Boise for the holiday. I explained to the Enterprise staff my last-minute (and unnecessary) emergency and they were kind, fast-thinking, and willing to help. I was asked what my price point was and was GIVEN IT (what!?). They suited me up in a nice minivan (total soccer mom vibes) that usually costs $150 per day, apologized for my struggle with Hertz and charged $50 per day. I was in disbelief they would do this for me, as it was so very last-minute. The minivan had just been returned so the tank was only 1/4 full. I was given an offer to return the car as close to empty as possible so I am able to save money on gas (who are these angels?). Needless to say... Top-knotch customer service: quick, quality, thoughtful. Thank you, Enterprise for solving a problem that wasn't yours to begin with. read more

The service was fine, the van was waiting for me, and I was on my promptly. The caveats were: The rental agreement contract was illegible due to ink issue. I signed the contract "blindly." The interior was filthy. It was evident no detail was performed from prior rental(s). The passenger front tire had a slight air leak. This caused me to fill with air every 2 days. The van looked very tired, maybe because of the miles in excess of 34,000. My impression was the overall service to the van was negligible. read more

Since the previous review there has been an update. On Monday morning I called the manager (Shane) of the Provo Utah airport location and he explained that they usually only come to that location for incoming flights and pre reserved vehicles. The employee Justin stated he was at the location the day my rental was reserved for an incoming flight at 8:45am and stayed until 9am at which point he left. The hours in my email reservation state that they are open on Sundays 9am to 10:30am, close and reopen at 2pm until 3:30pm. The hours listed on google state they are open from 9am to 2:45pm. Both of these seem to be incorrect according the the manager and the employees since they only come to the location for incoming flites and pre reserved rentals. The issue in this specific case is that I showed up at this location at 9:00am and the employee Justin had left already. My reservation wasn't meant to be pickup until that exact time 9am. Why in the world would you leave for the day at 9am when you know you have a reservation set to be picked up at 9am. Needless to say I am very disappointed with the inconsistency between the hours listed online, in my email reservation and the hours the employees actually work. There seems to be a rather large disconnect between the corp office and that rental branch. I must say that the manager Shane did take full responsibility and accountability for the issue. I explained to Shane that since my girlfriend and I were made to stay an extra unplanned day/night with expenses and missed work that I don't feel it's appropriate for me to pay any portion of the rental. Shane agreed and he supplied the rental for free. This appeased me and I was satisfied with the resolution. The reason I supplied a rating of three stars is because of the large disconnect between the branch and the corp office concerning the hours of operation. This is an unacceptable and irresponsible way to operate a business. Furthermore when I spoke to Justin he attempted to blame me and stated "there must have been a delay since you didn't show up at 9am". 1st and foremost your business hours in the reservation stated you're open from 9am to 10:30am so regardless if I came it at 9am or 10am you should have been there. If it weren't for Shane making the issue right with the free rental I would have taken it much much further, but as I stated before... I was appeased. In this case I believe some employee customer service training is much needed. Apologies for any typos... Hope you still get the points I was attempting to make. read more

Enterprise is perfect if you want to wait around for them to never have a car ready to pick you up it's like it's never happened before someone needing a car right now their stock was nonexistent from Provo to Salt Lake to American Fork I called him to ask if I had one available for cash they said it was there so I drove to the university enterprise I get to the university enterprise there's no vehicle there the district manager calls me and says the one in Orem or the one in Sandy or the one in American Fork they need a new searching algorithm for their network of stores my recommendation go with UBER keep your receipts write it off on your insurance company have them reimburse you if you prefer lift go with lift.!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reserved a car a month in advance because I knew that during thanksgiving demand would be high and I wanted the best deal possible. About 5 days before my trip, I got a call from them confirming everything, which seemed normal. But during the conversation I got the vibe like they were trying to talk me out of the reservation...for example, during that conversation they said that the deposit was $250. i said, "$250? Did I hear that right?" and he confirmed, "yes, $250." this isn't my first time renting a car. It's $150. They told me $150 when made the reservation. I paid $150 when I actually rented the car. SO WHY ARE THEY CALLING ME TRYING TO GET ME TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION??? That's rude and a waste of my time. And it makes me feel like the only thing the counter people care about is money. We are contractors who travel Alaska, All of Canada, and the Lower 48, so you can imagine we rent a lot of vehicles. We've received the whole gamut of service experiences from various rental car agencies, most blend into the realm of forgettable. This property will stay in the forefront of awesome service received. The person who helped us was very adept at working through some of our unexpected needs. We'll travel a bit further to deal with this agency next time we are in the area. read more

Enterprise advertises they will pick you up within a five mile radius. However, this does not include the Provo airport, which should be noted. I had to take a Lyft round trip from the airport to the car rental location. Service was great, although the rental car provided was not cleaned thoroughly. The agent offered to find me another car. I decided to stick with the one I had. I dropped the car off at 8:00am on a Saturday morning. Glad I was able to drop my key in their drop box since they were closed. read more

You mean I actually have to give them a star. Not deserving! There is a reason this branch has such poor reviews. I have rented from this location previously, but never with hassle free service. They would always make a big deal about my lightly tattered license. This particular time the ginger haired Pee Wee Herman, who was assisting (if you can even term it as such), would not allow a rental because of the license, even though it was completely valid. The entire process of trying to find a solution, Pee Wee was very condescending. If you choose to ignore the poor reviews and go into this branch, you'll see what I mean. Its that apparent, as is the Pee Wee resemblance! On the way out the door, Pee Wee continued to rant on how good of a manger he was, as if hoping to stumble upon "today's magic word" so his talking furniture would scream, giving him some type of acceptance in his piece of shit office branch. What a crooked and deceitful company! My wife rented a car from them while ours was in the shop for 2 weeks. They asked her if she would like the $6 insurance as an added protection for the car. She agreed. They then handed her some paperwork to sign, which she did. In that paperwork, however, they included a form for even more insurance at $22 a day, in addition to the $6 a day insurance. They didn't tell her that form was in there and at no point did they ever tell her about a $22 a day insurance. When we returned the car the came at her with a fee of $618 for insurance, which blew my wife away. She explained the situation to them and how nobody ever informed her of a $22 a day insurance and that she only agreed to a $6 a day one. They said that there was nothing that they can do for her. That she should have read the paperwork better and not signed it. What an unethical and deceitful place. Never EVER will I use or recommend Enterprise to anyone. I will also make it an effort of mine to discourage anyone from using them. read more

I had to drop off my car quickly and had to wait longer than I was hoping, but Robbie was helping another customer and was very accommodating when he saw I was in a rush.
